Future-Kill (1985)
My rating: 4/10
A bunch of shitty frat boys go to The Bad Part Of Town to kidnap a member of the Militant Left (TM), immediately get attacked by said militant left and their evil cyborg leader. Much carnage ensues. This could be quite fun, but unfortunately these guys had to be edgelords about it, so the whole movie is intensely homophobic, fairly misogynistic, just a little fatphobic and way, way up its own ass.

The Saint: Paper Chase (5.11, ITC, 1966)
"Have you the file?"
"We have outraged Mr. Redman's sense of fair play. How British you have become. The Marquess of Queensberry Rules, even in a fight to the death."

John Drake could have done this job with a lot less showing off). a high octane action heavy ep#which presents a fairly simple plot to get Simon into East Berlin and then spends most of the episode on the adventure to get out again#it all feels like it might owe a debt to The Spy Who Came In from the Cold‚ a big screen hit the previous year‚ and even the downbeat#ending feels more le carre than fleming. partly a return to moodier and more realist form‚ except that Simon working for mi5 or 6 feels in#and of itself kind of silly... i mean he's a rich playboy jewel thief. still‚ MacGinnis (a considerable get for the team) is great fun

The Saint: Starring the Saint (2.2, ITC, 1963)
"Can you grow a moustache in ten days?"
"Why, is there a market for them?"
"Oh, you should have a moustache, your hair should be all slicked down, you don't look like the Saint."
"But I am the Saint."
"What difference does that make?"
"I can see we're gonna be great friends."
"That isn't necessary."

Simon gets mixed up with the british film industry and ends up spending much of the episode traipsing round the real#Elstree studios where the show was produced. what starts off as a very fun and very tongue in cheek adventure actually ends up being#a little glum in conclusion; still‚ it's a lot of fun getting there‚ helped in no small way by a top drawer guest cast giving it there all.#ronald radd channels Rod Steiger in The Big Knife as the manipulative studio boss‚ while Alfie Burke has a ball as a directing hot shot#Pithey marks the second onscreen Insp. Teal after Campbell Singer in the previous year's The Man Who Was Lucky; Pithey's incarnation is#notably more jocular (tho no less suspicious of Simon). ironically the episode also features Ivor Dean in a small role; after another false#start‚ Dean would become the permanent Teal later in the shows run. Alex Davion (shortly to be cast in Gideon's Way) gets to let loose as a#prima donna film star and Jackie Collins (she of the innumerable smutty best sellers) appears in one of her comparatively rare acting roles#by the end of the decade she'd retired from acting to concentrate on writing full time. blink and you'll miss Bryan Marshall in one scene

ACCUMULATED TYPINGS
These are people/characters (other than the 200 people from my dreams), who I've typed personally, or I've seen typed somewhere else, and I agree with the typing. To agree with a typing, the person had to type the same using my methodology as outlined in my Typing In Practice Posts.
If I actually know, or can be fairly certain of, a person's DISC and SOJT type, I will put it after their name in parenthesis. If there's a Typing In Practice post for this person, the number will also appear after their name in parenthesis

President during each characters time
This is another random idea that came to me just now, i thought I’d make a list of who the US president was during each charater’s time.
Kaya: No US president yet (United states didn’t exist in her part of the country, she would have had a leader of her tribe)
Felicity: No official president. (There was of course a leader, but presidency as we know it today did not exist. The revolutionary war would have started in 1776, and ended in 1783, when Felicity would have been 17 years old. George Washington officially became president in 1789, when she would be 23 years old)
Caroline: James Madison (1809-1817)
Josefina: she lived in new mexico, which was part of Mexio at the time, so she would have had Vicente Guerrero as the leader of her country (served as a substitute leader for a few years in the absolute mess of mexican leaders at the time) meanwhile in the US, James Monroe was president (1817-1825)
Kirsten, Marie-Grace, Cecile: Franklin Pierce (1853-1854)
Addy: Abraham Lincoln (1861-1865)
Samantha: Theodore Roosevelt (1901-1909)
Kit, Nanea, Molly: Franklin D Roosevelt (1933-1945)
Maryellen: Dwight D Eisenhower (1953-1961)
Melody: Lyndon B Johnson (1963-1969)
Julie: Gerald Ford (1974-1977)
Courtney: Ronald Reagan (1981-1989) (Coutney still did moore than he did in his time in office)
