As a hardcore Harmony fan and Ginny hater (not cause of ship, I definitely think that she is not a good person) I argued with a lot of Hinny and Romione fans.

There is a huge mistake that all of them try to put on the heads of others. ''IT IS CANON. IT IS RIGHT''. but they don't think a bit about how the characters' lives really turned out, because it all looks implausible. they pray to the scene of the epilogue, completely unaware that both couples are simply doomed to separate. Harry's son's Name Alone Looks like a Cheap Skitter Article.

I always thank JKR for the world that she created, but her plot for romance is just a manual for toxic and disrespectful relation between partners. It is so badly written that it would be better if topic of love never appeared on the pages of the series.

Frankly speaking, I really cannot call Fans of canon as fan of the certain couple. The majority of them are indifferent to Harry and Hermione's fate, they are just fans of Ron or Ginny and happy that their favourite character got what he/she wanted. There is nothing common with real analysis of the relations or its potential. And of course a lot of people obsessed with the cult idea '' they all have become Weasley''.....

“I used to ship Harry and Hermione together but that was back when I was 12 years old. Now, I’ve grown up and realized that Ron and Hermione make much more sense together and are good together” is a sure-fire way to tell me you didn’t “grow up”.
