Today's polish is stunning and I absolutely love it, but application was tricky. It is very similar to From Ashes We Rise. Like that one, I used a blue cream underneath it so I didn't have to use as many coats to reach opacity. This polish has the tiniest, prettiest, blue holo glitters as well as pink and orange glass flakes. And those holo glitters, once stuck somewhere you didn't want them, were nearly impossible to clean off the skin. In certain lighting, the flakes would almost completely disappear and you could really see the holo glitter, like in the bottom left picture. But when you look closely you can also see where those glitters got stuck and I was unable to remove them. 😂🤦‍♀️ This is It Just Makes Me Happy from Rogue Lacquer over Royalty Blue from Holo Taco.

They protect one another, Uli uses his magic and weapons to parry enemy attacks and defend Gilbert while making sure to strike if their opponent loses their guard for a strike.

Will Byers and Mike Wheeler have never spoken. Under normal circumstances, it would've stayed that way – a prince and a lowly servant among hundreds of others – but unfortunately, the enemy kingdom has launched an attack using a new magical warfare tactic. This results in the downfall of His Majesty's kingdom, and while the royal family makes it out unharmed, most servants are left to die by what has been dubbed the Mindflayer.

Except Will somehow survived his encounter with the Mindflayer, finding his way into the forest where the survivors, including his brother and mother, have camped out for the time being. However, he didn't escape without repercussions. Visions have been coming to him, and his body is moving on its own accord more and more frequently, posing a danger to himself and every other survivor left. It only complicates things when a young sorcerer stumbles her way into camp one night, her branded wrist giving her away as part of the enemy kingdom's forces. Upon His Majesty announcing her execution, Will and Mike end up taking her, along with Will's family and Mike's older sister, and leaving in the dead of the night to hopefully put a stop to whatever burning evil lurks within the truth of the Mindflayer.

Rogue surviving citizens join the effort, and as the journey progresses, something more begins to blossom between Will and Mike as they battle to keep themselves and everyone else they love alive.

Modern Royalty AU.

BEGINNING.

Prince Daemon was the second born son of Prince Baelon, and Princess Alyssa Targaryen, and the younger brother of Prince Viserys. Upon his birth, he was named Duke of Harrenhal, a title that he would keep until his father died. He was raised at House Targaryen’s ancient ancestral keep at Old Valyria. It was said that the day he was born it was storming, but the sun came out soon as the young Prince cried for the first time after his birth. His birth was easy and Alyssa was quite happy when she held her second son.

As a child, Daemon was very early educated in the protocols the family should live by, he was polite and of kindly disposition. He liked to play with his older brother by four years, and they would be seen together most of the time. Different from Viserys who was closer to Baelon, Daemon was closer to Alyssa while she was alive. Her death shocked the young child - he was only two years old when she died - and rendered him mute for a while, making it difficult for him to develop his speech.

The doctors of the realm tried to find a solution immediately to the trauma that the Prince’s loss had caused, and managed to help him - yet not cure him - to revert his selective mutism. He become reserved and even distant. This affected later, his relationship with his peers. It also did not help the anger issues that started to blossom very early on, and that they were more notorious during his teenage years.

Despite this impediment, Daemon still showed interest in children’s activities as he was growing up, and developed a prominent interest in flying.

During his teenage years, Daemon was rebellious and fighting against the rules set by his family, he was more interested in partying and sleeping around.

EDUCATION.

Due to custom and his speech problem until he was twelve years old, Daemon was home-schooled. Once his speech improved he was transferred to Aerion Academy For Boys, one of the most prominent and important boarding schools in Dragonstone, where his brother Viserys also attended. He participated in sports, preferring soccer, and was captain of the Draco’s Football Team, leading them to victory until graduation. He was Head Boy following the steps of his mother as Head Girl, and his father as Head Boy, something Viserys did not manage during his studies.

He graduated as top of his class, like his brother before him, and his father as well. His personal pride, however, has been his success in the football team, where he made friends for life.

Once he finished boarding school, he enrolled in the Belarion University, also in Dragonstone, where he studied under the Caraxes College, following his uncle Aemon. There he studied politics, economic and history, alongside his passion for paleontology. He obtained a Master and PhD in Paleontology. Being the first of the royal family to have a degree.

Following his time in school, during College, he too joined the football team, becoming captain soon after, leading the Conquerors to victory, until he graduated. He commented plenty among his peers that if it wasn��t because he was a Prince - and thus unable to - he would have liked a career in football. However, sports were not his only interest, he was member of a semi prívate club that he founded alongside with some of his friends, the T.L.A.P.E. a group that would reunite every Friday in Aegon’s Garden Tea Shop. The acronym was for Tea Lovers and Paleontology Enthusiasts.

He also participated with less interest in hunting and horse riding. Most of his attention - beyond his education - was also divided in charities that he started or joined in that period of time.

His private life was always on the spot, and there were rumors that despite his public figure of a kind and polite disposition, he was also a rebellious teen, who preferred to be sleeping around and being in parties. He was seen more often than not in private parties that his peers would invite him to, and there has been some pictures of him around women his age, mostly talking, but the rumors spoke of a less virtuous life style. The Queen, of course, did not gave any comment to the rumors about her grandson’s questionable activities.

He has always been well liked by his peers and many looked up to him. The women were always charmed by his looks or his presence, since he was a flirt by nature in privacy.

THE ROYAL ARMY.

Upon graduation, Daemon joined the Royal Army, as per custom. Bringing back his passion from childhood, he joined the Air Force, becoming an excellent and fearsome pilot. He served for twelve years as Commander, and then were granted the ranks of Admiral of the Fleet. Field Marshal. Marshal of the Royal Air Force. Captain General Royal Marines.

After his years of service ended he continued to pilot his ship, since he found peace up in the air. His ship was given the name of Caraxes, in honor to one of the greatest dragons that - according to the legend of their family - lived a long, long time ago.

ROYAL TITLES.

Upon birth, as custom, Daemon was born as Prince of the realm of Valyria, soon after his birth, he was named Duke of Harrenhal.

Upon his father’s death, Viserys becoming Duke of King’s Landing - as the heir apparent should - Daemon’s title changed, taking upon his brother the title of Duke of Dragonstone, a title he continued to hold until he died.

Daemon is known as Prince Daemon of House Targaryen, Duke of Dragonstone.

Note 1: The Targaryen Dynasty is the royal family of Westeros (think about the British royal family), whose main settlement is in Valyria, where they live and rule from there. They have other settlements as well, in Harrenhal, Dragonstone and King’s Landing, being their most important places, as well as Dukedoms.

Note 2: Rhaenyra as heir apparent becomes Duchess of King’s Landing, as Viserys become King of Valryia.

ENGAGEMENT.

At the age of twenty, his grandmother the Queen announced that the Prince was interested in getting married, and she presented with different candidates for the position. Daemon choose Rhea Royce, Lady of Runestone to be his wife.

The courtship took place for months - with friends of the couple being sure that they both loved each other deeply - until the Prince finally purposed, upon custom. The wedding was held in the Great Sept following the Faith of the Seven, even when Daemon would have preferred a Valyrian wedding.

Despite how they showed themselves to the public, among the court and friends of the couple, the relationship seemed ill fated, to the point of raising rumors about infidelities and mistreatment on Daemon’s side. Whether that was true or not, that is yet to be seen.

Today's polish is SO PRETTY. 😍😍😍 It's actually two polishes: a blue cream and a flakey topper. I love this blue cream. I have a decent collection of creams and every time I try one on I tell myself I need to wear a cream on its own. And then I immediately put a topper over it. 😂 This topper is gorgeous though. In the sun it looks like sparkly gems that are on fire. I can't get over it. I will be very sad to take it off today. The cream is Royal-tea Blue from Holo Taco and the topper is From Ashes We Rise from Rogue Lacquer.
