Marvel puts the theme of friends, family and love into the story, yes. But love is often portrayed in a very sad and painful way (the death of one of the couple is very common) and... I ask why? Why are there so few happy couples? Like seriously, it's not just about epic fights and terrifying villains anymore. I honestly don't care about that at all. I want to see the characters' stories, their development, their relationships, their journey, and that they can be happy too.

Ok, I genuinely had no idea there was any drama to speak of, but from what I saw (thanks to a quick Google search), most if not all of the drama is fans claiming one has copied the other, or done something better/worse. Which is silly. If you're gonna be that nit picky about something, I hate to break it to you, but it's probably been done before about a gazillion times.

Why do some fans have to be toxic and ruin things for the fans just in it to enjoy stuff?? I even saw a post on Reddit like "here's a list of things that prove Lackadaisy copied Helluva, despite coming out first".. WHAT?! That's not how it works?! Unless you're also claiming the Lackadaisy creator TIME TRAVELLED??

Rating Total Drama ships that showed up when playing with the generator! (Pt. 1)

Brick and Rodney (or Birckney): Actually, ya know what, this seems neat. They’re both marshmallows and all Rodney really needs to do and develop some social skills. Rating: 7.5/10

Cody and Dawn (or Codawn): So apparently, this is already an existing ship. Knowing Dawn, she’d probably be the only one to know as much about Cody as Sierra does without even trying. I wouldn’t really mind it but it isn’t really something I’d care about either. Rating: 5/10

DJ and Kitty (or Ditty): This is something that I would personally like to see play out but in a platonic way. I actually headcanon DJ as gay (not like that’d stop FreshTV). But I still love both these characters. They’re basically rays of sunshine in human form so I would be down for this. Rating: 8/10

Emma and Duncan (or Emcan): Because Duncan getting together with a determined future lawyer worked really well the first time until it all went downhill... Yeah, I’m gonna nip this one in the bud. Rating: 4/10

Harold and Emma (or Hemma): I mean, if she fell head over heels for Noah, is Harold really that much of a stretch? I mean, it’s not something I’m on board with but this is just funny to me. Rating: 5/10

Harold and Courtney (or Hourtney): No. Rating: 2/10

Jasmine and Tammy (or Jammy): I don’t want Jasmine to have to put up with the LARPers. She deserves so much better than that. Rating: 3/10

Josee and Dave (or Jossave): Now, on the surface, this makes sense. They’re both terrible human beings. But also, I always thought the Ice Dancers were mlm/wlw solidarity but evil and I’m also obligated to not ship Dave with any woman because it might result in him trying to kill her like with Sky. Rating: 4/10

Kitty and Taylor (or Kitlor): Yeah, no. Kitty deserves better than that. Rating: 2/10

Laurie and Jasmine (or Laurmine): I mean, the Vegans from RR would obviously girlfriends and they’re also one of the few RR teams that left on not great terms with each other. Basically, what I’m getting at is I wouldn’t be surprised at the idea of Laurie fawning over this tall, strong, and nature-loving explorer. Rating: 6/10

MacArthur and Scott (or MacScott bc I’m bad at coming up with names): Does this make sense to anyone else? I mean, I’ll be honest, it’s likely they would meet because she’s arresting him and it’s not exactly an OTP but like... I can see it. Certainly better than Scottney. Rating: 7/10

Rock and Ella (or Rockla): It’s not something I would’ve come up with on my own but like... It’d be cute. I obviously lean more towards Rock and Spud but this would at least be an interesting interaction. Rating: 6/10

Sammy/Samey and Gwen (or Swen): I’ll be honest. I only saved this one because I just want both these characters to be happy. Gwen at least ended TDAS with friends but Sammy/Samey is stuck with her emotionally abusive sister. The point is I think she deserves better and Gwen is still my favorite character so... Rating: 6.5/10

Sammy/Samey and Ezekiel (or. Zekemy?): Like with the last one, I just want Samey to be happy and Zeke deserves better. I mean, Zeke wasn’t the nicest guy or anything but he didn’t deserve to turn into a god damn animal. Rating: 5/10
