Mfw one of my favorite characters in a game either isn't popular and barely exists in the fandom, or everyone hates them.

but what about cool red flashy bits from both neo metal and sage, make that an option
You could tell Eggman you’re trans and he’d immediately be like “Hoho! How would you like to try my brand new ULTRA MEGA TESTOSTERONE?!” And like it’d absolutely work but he’d definitely be using it as one of the benefits of joining the Eggman Empire. Which also has dental.

Things that happen within the first few hours of AC6:
1. You get shot with a huge-ass laser mid-atmosphere entry. You barely survive this, landing several miles away from your intended landing zone.  Welcome to Rubicon 3.
2. You have a mech built with bargain bin parts, barely held together with hope and spite. It has a energy sword though, so that’s nice.
3. Not even two seconds after your, very rough, landing, you get a call from your “Handler”. He is ostensibly in charge of your well-being. This begins and ends with him sending you off on missions he’s fairly certain you’ll survive and charges you for the damage you get to your mech, the bullets you use, and he’s also cut out a piece of your brain to put in augmentations that will make you a slightly better mech pilot. In the top Most Horrible People On This Planet contest, he wouldn’t make it to the top 10.
4. You make your way through a derelict hunk of junk that’s threatening to collapse on top of you. Not even two minutes into this journey, you’re getting shot at with missiles.
5. You finally reach your intended destination, a burning husk of a city filled with scavengers and low lives who will shoot you on sight. You are here to grave rob.
6. The reason you are grave robbing is connected to the fact you got shot in orbit, you are here illegally, and you need to find a license from any fresh corpse so you can steal the identity on it and be able to do mercenary work.
7. You go through four corpses before you find one with a license that can pass muster.
8. Mid corpse robbing a gunship sent by The Space Police spots you and you have to shot it down so it can’t kill you or, even worse, stop you from stealing the identity you just found.
9. As soon as you get registered in the Mercenary Rolodex, which takes less then a second of an A.I taking a look and saying “alright checks out”, you have two missions. One of them has you killing a bunch of resistance fighters from the planet’s native population on behalf of a weapons company that really wants to do business here. 10. The next mission has you going to a base owned by that very same company and blowing up everything you can find there. This does not anger that company one bit, if anything it just convinces them you are a very thorough worker. 11. Very shortly after that, you are tasked with destroying a prototype mech by another company before it can get into mass production. That mech is being piloted by what can only be described as an Anime Protag who is in the worst possible franchise for his type of character. You can murder him in less then two minutes if you know what you’re doing. You can hear him desperately fight for his life the entire time. 12. After that, before you even get to clean the blood and oil and broken dreams off your robot, you get a call from a merc group leader saying that he’s seen you murder that guy real good, a guy who was auditioning to join his group, and likes the cut of your jib. He gives you the callsign he was gonna give Anime Protag before you blew him the fuck up. He laughs and tells you to be careful since it’s an unlucky number. This is the least morally repugnant thing you’ll do all game.
13. A while after that, you go into a power plant and destroy the generator, it promptly blasts you in the face with the red radioactive Super Fuel that toasted this planet a few years back.
14. You survive, somehow, and you get a disembodied voice of some girl in your ear. You tell your handler about this and he just shrugs it off with “oh yeah that’s probably a symptom of the lobotomy, don’t worry about it”. The voice is probably the most moral person on this fire blasted hell scape of a planet.

honestly I'm kinda disappointed all the popular/well known ships are gone/eliminated
the semis look kinda boring now tbh
(ps: I don't mean to hate on the ships winning. I'm sure they're winning for a reason. it's just they're all kinda unknown/not mainstream)
We're definitely surprised to see some of the highly seeded ships go down early, but personally, I think that makes the remaining matches more exciting, not less! Who doesn't love an upset, after all? But of course, with Bubbline in one half and Destiel in the other, there are definitely some significant heavy hitters still in the running!
That being said, we know we have some underdog semifinalists that people are less familiar with, so here's a brief primer on each of them!
Hualian comes from the Chinese novel Tian Guan Ci Fu, or Heaven Official's Blessing. If you've heard of Wangxian of Mo Dao Zu Shi/The Untamed fame, TGCF comes from the same author. It is a xianxia love story about ghost kings and fallen gods. Here's the plot synopsis from IMDB:
Eight hundred years ago, Xie Lian was the Crown Prince of the Xian Le kingdom. He was loved by his citizens and was considered the darling of the world. He ascended to the Heavens at a young age; however, due to unfortunate circumstances, was quickly banished back to the mortal realm. Years later, he ascends again, only to be banished again a few minutes after his ascension. Now, eight hundred years later, Xie Lian ascends to the Heavens for the third time as the laughing stock among all three realms. On his first task as a god thrice ascended, he meets a mysterious demon who rules the ghosts and terrifies the Heavens, yet, unbeknownst to Xie Lian, this demon king has been paying attention to him for a very, very long time.
At #58 in the Tumblr 2023 top ship list, they're solidly middle of the pack in terms of seeding, but they did take down Buddie at #10, and Davekat of Homestuck infamy: a very impressive showing!
Sulemio hails from the latest installment in the Mobile Suit Gundam anime franchise, The Witch from Mercury; as with all Gundam series, it is a sci-fi military drama featuring giant robots and space warfare. This one happens to also feature heavy inspiration from Revolutionary Girl Utena. Official synopses seem a bit lacking, and I unfortunately don't know enough about the series to summarize it myself, but I'll link this very helpful guide that someone left in our notes!
They're the lowest seeded of our semifinalists, ranking #59 on Tumblr's 2023 top ship list, so the fact that they've taken out the top seed is truly a feat; having a rallying force with @demilypyro has certainly helped their cause (and our very busy activity feed 😅) a great deal!
Regardless of who wins the next rounds, there are very fun underdog journeys present on both sides of the bracket. Plus, it's always good to remember that polls like these are not meant to be indicators of popularity, but of passion.

Hypothetically. If I wanted to get into transformers what would be the best way to start. On that.
EEEEEEEE
(I’m sorry for what’s to come but you just activated the ramble machine)
Ok so I didn’t watch every single show/movie, but imma recommend all that I watched and absolutely loved and guide you from there :)
Before we start, it might be good to understand that the franchise has different continuities, meaning some shows or movies might have differences in timelines or portraying characters, plots or concepts, so when you start out you might get a bit confused by what’s considered “canon” or not
But to keep it simple, some things are canon in certain continuities, while others aren’t, so don’t get too hang up on what’s canon for the franchise as a whole, and focus more on what’s canon for individual shows/movies/comics
(It’s like how Shredder is canon in all TMNT iterations but he has super different stories in each one, it doesn’t mean one story is wrong and one is right, just that they’re different :D)
But mostly, shows from the same continuity would most likely have the same canon events just at different points in time (I will indicate each continuity with the shows under it to avoid confusion)
———
The aligned continuity:
Transformers Prime: this is the show I highly recommend starting with, it pretty much introduces you very gently to the whole idea of the franchise, great worldbuilding and has many of the most well known characters within it with such beautiful unique designs that aren’t used in any other show
It also introduces you to many concepts that’s within the Transformers franchise that other shows/movies/comics generally use without explanation (like T-cogs, what they are, and how they work)
The show is very loved and it’s definitely one of the best ones out there, it’s very much a classic
Transformers Rescue Bots: ok, we’re getting into shows that are more kid friendly territory, but don’t be deterred by that, it’s a classic case of a show being for younger kids that’s so good adults could enjoy it just as much, kinda like Bluey, where the writing is still mature enough that it’s very enjoyable
It’s honestly so fucking good, it has no business being such a masterpiece honestly, I literally drew for it much more than I drew for any other Transformers show chchchhc, this show imo, has the best human characters, and such a fun narrative outside the main conflict usually portrayed by other shows
Rescue bots focuses a lot on side characters that you don’t even usually see portrayed at all in any media actually, in fact, many of the characters that you’ll see in other Transformers media don’t even appear in it, might get mentioned once or twice, but you’ll never see them, except for like, 3?? Characters I think
Rescue bots’ timeline also takes place in the same timeline as Transformers Prime (same continuity)
There is also Rescue Bot Academy (RBA) and Transformers Robots in Disguise 2015 (Rid 15), i personally liked RBA, and I think it’s fun, but I wasn’t very invested in it as it’s preceded show Rescue Bots
Rid 15 I personally don’t like, it had some potential and good ideas, but it was poorly executed tbh (which is a shame cause I believe that if it was executed better, it would’ve been so fucking good)
Generation 1 continuity (always and wildly referred to as G1):
Transformers G1: an absolute classic, the original first show to be made for Transformers, has that old 80s cartoon charm, i honestly haven’t watched all of it yet, but it’s absolutely delightful to watch honestly and I definitely recommend it (it’s the kinda bad-good show with so much meme potential chchch)
Transformers One: now if you want a groundbreaking movie, One is the movie you absolutely need to watch, it released very recently actually on Sep 2024, an animated movie and one that’s just so so so good and adopts very refreshing ideas and it’s beautifully executed, uses many of the old integrated concepts of the franchise in new and fun ways
More Than Meets The Eye, and Lost Light: such beautifully made comics and has one of my most favorite characterizations of some of the characters, also has one of my absolute fave characters that literally never appeared in any show or movie (Rung my beloved)
Transformers Earthspark: such a fun and unique show, introduced so many new characters to a franchise that needed a shake up, really awesome overall plot and an absolutely refreshing take on the concept of Transformers, takes place after a certain point in the overall timeline that’s usually not portrayed in other shows
I would be honest and say that while S1 was a masterpiece, S2 didn’t deliver as it should, it was a very disappointing mess tbh, just thought I’d let you know before so you’d decide if it’s something you wanna watch (I’d recommend watching it anyway for S1 at least hcchchch)
Animated continuity family:
Transformers Animated: the actual Rottmnt of Transformers, it’s very wildly different than other continuities and operates on its own world building and versions of the characters, super fun and a classic, the childhood of many, i personally recommend watching this a bit later after other shows so you won’t confuse the concepts, but definitely highly recommended once you have a good grasp on the overall world
Bay verse (technically??):
Bumblebee: this one is live action, and imo, the only truly good one out of them, it’s not absolutely mind blowing, but it’s still fun to watch and it has many adorable moments, I really like the shift of a story focusing on a single character and building the narrative around them
Honorable mentions:
Transformers BotBots: Ok so this show I didn’t mention, mostly cause it’s a show that’s super outside the usual shenanigans of Transformers as a whole, and the show itself is very silly and tailored towards very young kids (more so than Rescue bots)
You can watch this show last honestly, nothing major happens in it, but it’s still fun to watch regardless, it’s the kinda show you watch when you have nothing better to do svxbbx
———
Now there are still many other shows but I honestly never watched them, there are also many other comics i’ve yet to read from both IDW and Dreamwave, so I can’t say whether they’re good or nah
But TLDR: as a newcomer, start with Transformers Prime, it’s the best show to start with to understand many of the concepts and overall world
Of course, if you start on your Transformers journey and get confused by anything, feel free to ask, always happy to ramble >:)

There is this thing in fandom spaces I noticed where it doesn't really feel like a community anymore but more... corporate. The transformers fandom is not an exception. An artist having hurt feelings over their fanart being copied is not something that needs to be discussed under "what is legal" or not. We are not businesses trying to sue each other we are all people that like the same toy line.
As artists, the line of inspiration and plagiarism can be a fine line, however just like most things in life- Proper communication and acknowledging the humanity in each other is the proper way of dealing with issues like this. If you hurt someones feelings your first priority is making sure what that person needs to not feel hurt anymore. Not trying to damage control the situation to appease the public eye. BE CONSIDERATE OF THE PEOPLE YOU ARE SHARING A SPACE WITH.
I see people that make these fandom spaces feel weirdly cold and uncaring, So i decided to also take the time to mention and discuss my inspirations that helped me form my own voice when it comes to my transformers related art & writing- Because I think we as artist should learn on how to give back when we take inspiration:
DerrickJWyatt:
Starting off with the late Derrick- I enjoyed his unique and recognizable art style even outside of transformers, but it was Transformers Animated that became my first exposure to the franchise when I was watching cartoons- It's unique setting made me experiment with how I want my AU to feel like. I studied the concept art when I was trying to get a grasp on how I want my designs to look, which helped me create my own unique design philosophy that still feels like it is transformers while also being its own thing. His twitter is still up for those that want to see his doodles and fun ideas.
@disformer:
Incredible artist with the ability to make drawing robots look so effortless, which if you are an artist you'd understand how having the ability to make something look effortless- requires a lot of effort. The resources they posted are so incredibly helpful- This video he made saved my life when trying to draw these stupid robot ppl- recommended to anyone who hates drawing squares and is lazy <3.
@combaticon:
The- and I mean THE transformers writer. If you haven't read her work you are missing out because her writing comes from such a genuine place, where even tragedy and uncomfortable feelings are written beautifully to capture the complex and messy experience that is life. Writing that embraces queerness without sanding off the edges to make it appealing to the masses. Combaticon writes stories that can only be written at home, for you and your friends. It makes me enjoy sharing my own writing to connect with others in the same way her work spoke to me.
@drill-teeth-art:
Amazing and creative artworks that highlight body positivity not seen much in fandoms. Drill-Teeth creates Transformers designs that all look incredibly interesting, distinct and unique! Also just incredible artworks done digitally as well with a pen and paper. I have been getting into drawing more on paper myself because of the amazing work I saw drill make. (However my analog art could use some work </3)
There are more I could mention but I would probs be sitting here all day- I hope any artist who reads this decides to think about how they can give back to a community that inspired them. Peace and love everyone

All across the world, there is a rush by marketeers to sell you new appliances. The last couple decades of increasingly-shitty build quality have failed to plump their margins enough, so now they're trying the carrot. Now, when you buy a refrigerator, it can be connected to the internet. Some ovens need to be connected to the internet, or they can't cook a turkey. If you went back in time and explained this state of affairs to someone in the Victorian Era, they'd shoot you.
When did our civilization lose its inherent distrust of machines pretending to be human? Half of our most popular science-fiction franchises are about a glad-handing, smiling robot trying to steal or murder our children. Now we're going to let a refrigerator lock down access to nutrients for those same children, because it couldn't resolve DNS? No more of this, I say, which is why I've started a new business.
Here at Appliance Endumbinators, our crack team of computer scientists, computer engineers, and angry people with hammers will work hard to remove any semblance of "intelligence" from your appliances. If you bought a new barbecue and it refuses to work unless you use factory-authorized propane, we'll rip its circuit boards out and splice together the miles of wiring that make up its nervous system until it gives in. We'll find your car and use an angle grinder to cut out the part of its positronic brain that obeys speed limits. And just for laughs, we'll duct-tape a thrift store alarm clock to your coffee maker, so that it can still have your brew ready for breakfast.
Book us in now, before the machines have their way with you. Become the master of your own home, comfortable with the most idiotic of automatons as you watch your neighbours suffer with thousand-page manuals, helpless service calls, and outsourced below-minimum-wage customer support just to toast a waffle.

The Robot Revolution Will Be Televised
Tumblr media
If headlines were anything to go by, pre-screened reviews of the latest episode of Doctor Who, “The Robot Revolution,” were mixed. The ending was referred to as “controversial.” My gut reaction was worry that it would be yet another lore change. I felt like the Babadook mum screaming, “Why can’t you just be normal?” There were a couple of moments that I felt could be divisive. Cat fanciers might have balked at the untimely demise of Lucy from number 7’s cat. Then there was the moment when our lovable robot pal, Scoot, vacuums up Alan at his most zygotic. But Lucy from number 7’s cat was quite literally RTD doing the opposite of saving the cat to let you know these robots are bad business. And the sperm and egg line is so camp that it’s going to be one of those “my girlfriend is a paving slab instances.” But we know the real reason this episode might spark controversy.
Was that the first cannon mention of sperm in Doctor Who? I certainly can’t recall another instance of the word in the show’s nearly 62 years of existence. The new Davies era has added quite a few new words to Doctor Who’s lexicon. We now have cosplay, sperm, and even incel. That’s two new additions in a single episode! Bravo! Jokes aside, it’s the incels who may or may not be mad about this episode. I’ve learned to turn down the volume of those types of people years ago. I often refer to it as background static because that’s what it is. The truth is, the only issue I have with Belinda Chandra saying “It’s the planet of the incels,” is that it’s a bit on the nose. But this episode is so camp that I’m not even upset.
The Chibnall era had the unfortunate knock-on effect on people’s perception of a woman Doctor. Because the show wasn’t very good, some people (idiots) blamed it on Jodie Whittaker’s gender. Another knock-on effect was how it made so any legitimate criticism of the era also had to first combat claims of sexism. It was a messy time in the fandom. But when the show is good and people are still complaining, then what is the complaint? No episode of Doctor Who is perfect, but this might be one of those times where if you didn’t like the episode, it’s probably because you’re an incel. You’d have to make one hell of an argument because, baby, I had fun!
My impression of Russell T Davies has always been that he’s a man who appreciates when Doctor Who is a little camp. He even refers to the Robots as “camp” on Doctor Who Unleashed. Part of Doctor Who’s charm is that it exists in a hyper-reality where Doctor Who is possible. This week, he leaned heavily on the retro-futurism of ‘50s B-movies, citing 1955’s “This Island Earth” as one of his main inspirations. Fans of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 will be well-acquainted with This Island Earth, as it’s the film they riff in the MST3K movie. It’s a gloriously corny bit of science fiction from Universal in their post-horror era. The AI Generator’s throne room could easily have existed on Metaluna.
Tumblr media
However, the usage of retro-futurism here is also part of a growing trend in sci-fi to embrace vintage tech. In the Alien franchise, we’ve seen the return of the chonky mechanical keyboards of the Nostromo. The computers in Star Wars still look like absolute dogshit. And. I. Am. Here. For. It. It’s nice to see the Doctor using computer panels that resemble something the Second Doctor would have utterly destroyed. I’m reminded of “World Enough and Time/The Doctor Falls,” when they took the look of the Cybermen from “The Tenth Planet,” and updated their texture and materials enough to make them seem realistic. Things don’t always need to look how you expect them to, they can look how they need to look. The Doctor doesn’t need to pull up a Tony Stark-type HUD of holographic buttons for me to believe he’s on an alien planet.
Tumblr media
Grounding this fantastic wonderworld in a bit of much-needed reality is Varada Sethu as Belinda Chandra. Belinda is a nurse who works hard for the NHS. She lives off of the least spoiled items in a community fridge. She’s a no-nonsense type who treats her work with the utmost sincerity. For the most part, nobody needs to tell us that Belinda takes her job seriously because it’s evident through her actions. Belinda doesn’t just sleep soundly; she sleeps on her stomach over her covers, presumably where she collapsed in exhaustion the instant she got home. This is precisely the sort of character work I’ve been missing from RTD since he returned. His work crafting the Tyler household was so strong that you felt as though you knew Jackie and Rose. I hope he keeps developing Belinda in this fashion.
We first meet Belinda as a teenager, talking to her dickweed of a boyfriend, Alan Budd. It’s clear from the outset that Alan doesn’t respect or even particularly like Belinda. He wants to possess and control her. He names a star after her but needs to associate it with her marital status by adding “Miss” at the beginning of her name. He critiques how she tears open her gift. He also steals the world’s most awkward and unearned kiss from her. In part, Alan is a knob and she knows it.
Tumblr media
I found it a bit odd that Belinda would keep the star certificate all of these years later. But despite the irksome “Miss,” or Alan’s name on the diploma, it is still a bit cool to have a star named after you. Alan, as it would turn out, was the least significant part of that equation. In the words of Bilbo Baggins, “Why not keep it?” The episode wastes no time bringing the Robots into Belinda’s life. They drop in, break down some walls, terrify some nurses, and vaporise Lucy from number 7’s cat. RIP kitty. But things don’t happen so fast as to deny us a brief moment with the enigmatic and fourth-wall-breaking Mrs Flood. She’s up to her usual spooky shit. Very little new to report there. The question one must ask, however, is whether Belinda lives near where Ruby lived, or does Mrs Flood get about?
Tumblr media
The Doctor tries to save Belinda, but as he’s chasing her, both she and the Doctor experience a “schwup,” in the space-time continuum, causing them to arrive at their destination at different points in time. Their destination? Missbelindachandra One is a planet whose name I would have read as gibberish the first few times in a book but is simply Belinda’s name as it appears on the star certificate, sans spacing, plus one. The Robots are the merciless hatchetmen of an imbicilic AI Generator. This is one of those rare moments where Doctor Who referencing current events doesn’t feel painfully dated, as the AI debate still rages on. You’ll be happy to know that anything you ever read on my blog is always 100% me. Fuck AI.
Tumblr media
The Doctor has ingratiated himself into society on Missbelindachandra One. He holds the prestigious title of historian, which, when you consider megalomanics and their attitude toward accurate history must have been torture to the Doctor. Can you imagine trying to spin the AI Generator’s status as a bronze Torbjorn main as something cool? The Doctor truly is selfless. I’d have been stealing shit from the office every day. Call it quiet quitting, I call it fighting the power. My wibbly wobbly timey wimey lunch breaks would redefine the meaning of thirty minutes. Though, I do find the timing all to be a bit off. The Doctor says it took him a long time to rise to the role of Historian, but he’d been there for 6 months before Sasha 55 discovered him. Though, as we’ve learned from the Eleventh Doctor, any time sitting still is interminable. In an episode so fucky, it’s ironic that that’s the only timeline that confuses me.
Spoilers for the 1994 Jean-Claude Van Damme action sci-fi movie “Timecop,” but this episode reminded me of Timecop. Particularly, the moment when the evil Senator MacComb touches himself from another timeline, and the two melt into a puddle. It left an impression on 11-year-old me as it was one more way, like quicksand, which could totally kill me. Previously on Doctor Who, two of the same object or person co-existing has a plethora of effects, especially when those two items or people touch. Rose Tyler holds baby Rose Tyler, and the walls of reality weaken. Amy Pond touches her younger self, and nothing happens. Two of the same sonic screwdriver throw sparks. These diplomas throw us into a trippy Troughtonesque psychedelia where people age in and out of form like a Chris Cunningham video. It's a stunning bit of film making, and that shit reminded me of Timecop.
Tumblr media
Much of this episode reminded me of other stories. We have echoes of “The Girl in the Fireplace,” with a society of automatons (and people) taking a name too literally. My sister and I are watching through modern Who at the moment, and we found weird parallels within “Dinosaurs on a Spaceship.” The villainous Solomon even spurred my sister into saying “Incels make the best villains.” Too true, Rachelle. Too true. But the story which I thought of the most was the Seventh Doctor adventure, “Paradise Towers.” You have a dystopian future where society is thrown into chaos by an overzealous artificial intelligence. My friend Gerry and I both commented that the moment Manny showed up, we both thought of Pex. The big evil robot faces even compliment each other. I also thought of Futurama’s Femputer, which is really secretly a Fembot, which is itself a reference to The Wizard of Oz.
Tumblr media
A man behind a curtain is exactly the issue. Alan Budd is our AI Generator. After Belinda inadvertently got Alan kidnapped ten years in the past (thanks to the schwup), he became a sadistic ruler over Missbelindachandrakind. However, due to a fault in programming, he runs on an 8-part cycle, rendering him and his robot thugs unable to hear every ninth word. Because of this, a rebellion was able to form against the AI Generator. But he too is fighting his own rebellion against himself, the Alan part of him that exists within every ninth moment yearns for death. He’s a pathetic figure, really. He’s an idiot’s idea of power. A very apt archetype for today’s leadership. I like to think it was a conscious decision on the effects department’s behalf to make one of his arms way bigger than the other. Alan is clearly working out at Onan’s Gym. It really is the cherry on top of an already stunning design.
Tumblr media
Davies’ season openers are usually airier romps. Something to dip our toes back into the world of Doctor Who. Aspects reminded me of “Smith and Jones,” when the Judoon force the Doctor and his new companion into meeting through kidnapping. “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” while initially praised as a return in tone to the Star Wars franchise, has since been reappraised (perhaps unfairly) as a rehash of the original film. Similar criticisms have been lobbied toward RTD, which accuse him of recycling older concepts from Doctor Who. It comes with the territory when a writer returns to a franchise. You’re bound to see some of the same themes. But Doctor Who does this a lot. “The Hungry Earth/Cold Blood” is basically a rehash of “The Silurians,” with a dash of “Frontios” thrown in for good measure. “Rise of the Cybermen/The Age of Steel” is a reimagining of the origins of the Cybermen, swapping the mirrored “Tenth Planet” of Mondas for an alternate reality Earth. We’re in season two of this new version of the show, expect to see more “remixing” of the classics. You’re old now.
One thing which I hoped Davies would do is chill out a bit. Stop trying so hard and just let loose a little. This feels like that. When Rose Noble gave her speech about being non-binary in “The Star Beast,” I complained that it felt a bit clunky. It had that awkward David Lynch is your uncle telling transphobes to fix their hearts or die energy to it. It comes out a bit weird, but his heart is in the right place. But with this story, it felt more natural. Sure, lines like “You’ve taken coercive control and made it complete control of the whole planet,” are a bit on the nose, but as I said earlier, the camp tone affords those moments. This all feels very deliberate and considered.
Much of the script feels thoughtful, which in turn proves to be thought-provoking. One aspect to science fiction I’ve always wondered about was whether “humans” in things like Star Wars are like us. Belinda asks a question that you seldom hear come up in sci-fi, and that is whether or not Missbelindachandrakind share a similar physiology to humans. I love that not only does Davies ask the question, but he even takes the time to discuss the differences for no reason other than flavour. It’s nice to see Davies having fun with the ideas he’s bringing up. This tells me he’s engaging with his own concepts and developing them in a way that says, “Thank god we have more writers this year.” He’s not just in love with his ideas, he’s exploring them.
Tumblr media
Some fans will have been disappointed that the skeletal ray gun effect from the trailers wasn’t the result of Daleks. I even saw fan theories that Alan’s golden form was the new look for Omega. This is exactly why I stay away from fan speculation as it’s never accurate. However, one clarification from the trailer for which I was grateful was the origin of the Doctor’s cream coloured costume. While the annoying side of the internet was busy melting down over the Doctor’s blue kilt, I was quietly hating on the cream coloured costume that he wears throughout this episode. Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor Who costumes have been rather varied, but generally keep to a few themes. We see a recurrence of tartan patterns, overcoats, and tight fitting shirts. His costume here is the only one from the trailer which felt wrong for the Doctor. So I am very pleased that there was a story reason he was dressed so drab.
Ncuti and Varada have believable chemistry. I like that it’s not so cut and dry. The Doctor is trying to be flashy and cryptic, whereas Belinda is reserved and direct. She doesn’t appreciate the Doctor’s showing off, which is a quality I have always admired in companions. If you read my article about older companions, you’ll know I appreciate their less-than-starry-eyed approach to the Doctor. Donna Noble, Evelyn Smythe, Ian and Barbara, Tegan; none had time for the Doctor’s shit. Belinda is in good company, and I like that she holds the Doctor to a higher standard. Belinda has a good head on her shoulders. She won’t put her skills as a nurse to waste. And she certainly won’t let someone die in her name. She’s also brave in a way I admire. She’s ready to sacrifice herself to save lives.
Tumblr media
One aspect of the Doctor and Belinda’s relationship that I’m less into is something RTD seems to be doing more of recently. Instances where two characters experience a lifetime over a short period to insta-bond them is a weak story device. Whatever method they employ to fast-forward character bonding steals real moments of discovery between the actors and the audience. There’s showing, and there’s telling, and this was telling. It doesn’t feel earned, it feels hollow. It’s the weakest element of this episode and I wish they would stop doing this type of shit. What’s the hurry? Why does the Doctor need to state how much he cares about and knows Belinda now? What purpose does that serve other than to reveal too much of the Doctor’s interiority? Shouldn’t we, as an audience, trust the Doctor’s judgment in people by this point? It feels cheap because it is cheap.
Tumblr media
Despite the episode’s daft energy, real stakes are established beyond a cartoonish cat skeleton disbursing into the ether. The Doctor’s friend Sasha 55 is unceremoniously cut down by Robots moments after discussing her future travels with the Doctor. The way she was talking to the Doctor like “Take me to the stars,” she may as well have painted a target on her back. It’s the Doctor Who equivalent of a policeman one day from retirement. For their sake, we pretend to be shocked when they die. But we knew. We knew. That isn’t to say that losing Sasha 55 wasn’t an effective moment- quite the opposite. Evelyn Miller gives an effective performance in the short time she’s onscreen. I know people give Ncuti grief for crying too easily, but here it’s totally appropriate. We’re reminded of other would-be companions who didn’t live to see the day. Lynda with a Y. Rita from “The God Complex.” Astrid Peth. And now Sasha 55. RIP Sasha 55. I liked you better than “Orphan 55.”
Tumblr media
Watching Belinda walk toward her fate of marrying the AI Generator and becoming incased in gold gave me flashes of Han Solo on his way to the carbonite freezing chamber. The orange lighting pushing through the foggy clouds cast a brilliant glow on Varada’s face, convincing me that she was always meant to be a part of the Star Wars universe. This was her “Empire Strikes Back” moment for sure. The strength in the moment comes from Belinda’s choice not to hide. The Doctor and Manny were working out a plan that sounded foolhardy at best. Anyone within earshot would know it was a doomed mission. Belinda alerts the Robots to her location. She goes willingly. There’s a selflessness to her actions that screams Doctor Who companion far more than the Doctor witnessing her life could ever achieve. Her brand of self-sacrifice is heartbreaking to see, and I wonder if it's completely healthy. I hope they explore that.
Tumblr media
The same sombre tone follows us into the ending of the story. When the Doctor fails to bring Belinda back to her own time, we’re shown images of a wrecked earth floating in space. Something or someone has removed or destroyed the earth, and it’s legitimately creepy. It’s giving “The Stolen Earth,” and I’m here for it, again. Though the “Planet of the Apes” style half Statue of Liberty must have been a massive blow to the Weeping Angels. That was like one of their tallest soldiers. I joke, but I also don’t joke. I had to sit through “The Angels Take Manhattan,” and now you’re telling me it meant nothing? It makes you ask the wrong questions in the moment. Questions like “Isn’t that thing alive?” “Is it dead now?” And “Why is it always the top of the statue? Why not the feet?”
Tumblr media
I mentioned previously that I might try and write these reviews along with a corresponding Saturday morning cartoon. However, I believe it was my adherence to this bit that delayed this article. After I had watched “The Robot Revolution,” I felt a surge of positive energy about Doctor Who and I really just wanted to sit in silence for a bit. I usually take that as a good sign after watching something. When I sit there quietly absorbing everything I’ve just seen. But when I hit play on that episode of Spider-Woman, the moment ended. So I don’t want to do that anymore. It seemed a fun idea at the time, but I would rather just abide in the time and space allotted to me by Doctor Who. A time which might not always be there. A space so fantastic that Doctor Who can exist within it. Here’s to season three.

one of the most appealing and compelling attributes (to me at least) of the d//ca is the way they're 1.) horrifically underqualified and ill-suited for the job they have to do, 2.) they're forced to do it anyway Or Else, and 3.) the job involves being the sole caretaker for impressionable and fragile toddlers and children
it's so funny in such a tragic way. it's essentially the "human"ized culmination of faz ent's business practices and moral standards. it's extremely ineffective and extremely dangerous but it's cheap and it technically works so here it stays... and that's so fucking interesting to me!!!
so it kind of boggles my mind that the popular opinion is that they're actually good with kids?
idk i just think that if you're going to engage with the d//ca as a character (you know, the character from the "criminal negligence that leads to children being killed" franchise) you need to accept that they've canonically hurt a lot of people and that they're also perpetuating the deadly cycle that enables them to do that. simply because they exist. because they are a robot owned by a company that values profit above lives.
they hurt children not because they actually want to! but because they were put into a position of power over those children, and it's a position that they're not, and probably never will be, capable of doing properly. they hurt children because they are literally in cahoots with a serial killer (who is also part of that deadly cycle, and who is just as reluctant to do this, and who was also forced into a position of power by forces beyond their control) who targets these children because they are the easiest group to target.
and if you're deliberately making the choice to ignore this then you're simply not engaging with the actual character anymore lol (not like that's stopped anyone though)

Transformers Skybound #19 and #20 spoilers below cut
ISSUE #19
I was going to talk about issue #19 last month, but what do you know? I had literally nothing of value to add, especially since I'm behind on Void Rivals (sorry, Kirkman) so I know shit about Quintessons in this continuity. Anyway, this story reads more like an intermission; not that this is bad, but there's nothing really meaty here. Well, I guess I have SOME thoughts, soooo.... Bullet point format...?
Ooooh yeah, the trait of Megatron having the need to have the upper hand even in situations where he is at another being's mercy is actually one of my favorite things about him (Movie.) I can't be the only person who thinks Megatron's autopreservation and fear (eh) of being controlled are actually important to his character, right? I'm a "Megatron was built by the Constructicons" believer, so take that as you will.
Evil Matrix of Control (that's the tyranny) AND good Matrix of Freedom ("freedom is the right of all YOU KNOW HOW THIS GOES).
Tank Megatron :(
Megatron loving his planet? Yessir!
Symbolic representation of forced suicide. Whatevs.
Isn't it ironic how Megatron gained his ability to control others through the loss of his own bodily autonomy and against his own volition? He's like, a tool, a tool you wieeeeld???? Yeah.
That was fun. (he says, with a blank look of indifference in his face.)
ISSUE #20
Ok, the one people are actually talking about.
Tumblr media
You get your ass kicked for ten minutes and are already asking for him to kill you?? I could be charitable and pretend this is character writing, but like, no.
Tumblr media
"WILL YOU PRAY FOR MEEEE WHEN I'M GOOOONE?? OR IS THIS THE ETERNAL DARK WITHOUT A DAAAAAWN?!"
Uh, I mean.
Wow, a Cybertronian getting captured by a human facility? Feeling bold today, aren't we?
Ok, jk jk, I really want to see Mags' PTSD explored. Hopefully.
Tumblr media
JAZZ BACKSHOTS 🙌🙌🙌
Tumblr media
I liked this scene. I liked how DWJ didn't forget about the grief Spike must've been feeling. Or the grief he didn't have time to feel due to the... Giant robots.
Tumblr media
I like Skybound Optimus. And I like how, despite being THAT guy, he still has moments of vulnerability and doubt (lots of it, actually).
Tumblr media
Looks like someone was reading the tech specs/biographies before writing.
Tumblr media
Brooooo, you can't just say that. Now we know they have a target on their backs.
Tumblr media
Dada. Papa. Pops. Dad. Father.
Tumblr media
Foreshadowing.... In the shadows! Wow.
Tumblr media
Ohhh, we're gonna have an E.T. scene, right? Carly meets her old van, and Shredhead meets her. Bridge between Cybertronians and humans. (That's my pitch.)
Tumblr media
Very convenient.
Did he bring Scavenger along too? Like, yk, Microbots. That's my HC.
Tumblr media
SCRAPPER HAS A LINE OF DIALOGUE. WE WON. WE WON!!!
Tumblr media
Foreshadowing or just a throwaway line? Place your bets.
Tumblr media
Dude, you're adorable.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I haven't said this because I'm busy joshing around, but I really like this Megatron. He's very different from other incarnations of him, and I'm all for it. He's cold and calculating, but he clearly has a code of honor and actually cares for his subjects. I like him.
Also, one more Starscream abuse scene for the franchise.
Tumblr media
they faces killing me why nobody gaf
Tumblr media
Despite not being into this Starscream or his dynamic with Megatron. I can say that in the context of this universe and this issue, this scene was very well done and honestly kind of gut-wrenching.
I'm a little bit worried about Starscream's character from now on. Will he just dissipate into the background? 'Cause there's clearly no space for their common G1 Sunbow bickering.
Tumblr media
Scrapper (thinking): "Fuck... Did I remember to turn the oven off back at the base?"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That's it?
DWJ has been building this shit up since issue fucking #8 for this cockblocking move? Not even a name drop? Like, I don't want to complain just so DWJ can pull the rug out from under my feet and make my chin DROP in the next few issues. But the only reaction I had from seeing this was a deeeeeep sigh of disappointment. Like, what a wet fart. I wouldn't mind it that much if he hadn't teased us for so long.

Mrs. Afton’s Daily Life: ONE
Warnings: Age-Gap, Unhealthy Relationships, Unplanned Pregnancy, William being manipulative, NSFW mention, Physical Abuse towards Reader (not from William), Unedited, Very Problematic Behavior™ Overall,
A/N: Ok ngl not too proud of this but please enjoy!
If you were to ask William Afton what were his biggest blessings in life, with zero hesitation the man would answer his wife. He blindly believes that he is also a blessing in her life.
However.
His obsession with her had ruined her life.
He had met her when she was eighteen, a beautiful face that he was enamored with immediately. Her shy but kind demeanor had him wrapped around her little finger. He had only talked to her once before he had started to stalk her. The college she would be attending, where she worked, where she lived, everything. He kept track of where she was all the time and he had never felt happier.
His booming business at Afton Robotics and the Freddy Fazbear Franchise were the second thing that brought him joy, now it was her.
Then he approached her, all nervous even though he was twenty seven and a tall man. It seemed to a degree, he had the same effect on her. Not as obsessive as he was, but she still loved him nonetheless.
Even when her friends told her he was not good for her when he was almost a decade older than her. Not even when people would give them concerned looks when they would see her innocent face and his lecherous hold on her.
Her parents were old fashioned and would be furious if they found out she was with someone way older, is what she told him when he asked to meet them.
He respected her wish but that didn’t deter him from making himself comfortable in her life. They would meet him one way or another because he would be the man who would marry her. Whether they liked it or not.
He started to take up too much space in her life. The free time she would go with friends or enjoy her solitude, we’re all ignored in dedication to him. She was never alone for he would always be right behind her.
He would whisper venom in her ears, telling her how all she needed was him and that the rest were insignificant. As the naive little rabbit she was, she clung onto every word he spewed from that treacherous mouth.
She hadn’t realized how she was losing herself to him until she was given a rude awakening.
The ringing of her telephone had woken her from her sleep, the loud tone ripping her from her blissful sleep.
Her friend, who she hadn’t talked to since she started dating William, had begged her to come to her college because her boyfriend was screaming at one of the professors.
She remembered faintly, as she laid on his bare chest after he made love to her. She confessed that her professor had spoken to the directors of a university she wanted to attend. She smiled happily at how grateful she was towards her professor for he had made it possible for her to take a step forward to her dream career.
The talk of her dream school was always a sensitive topic around William. It was states away and he had been adamant on wanting her here. He had assumed she wouldn’t be able to attend because she had stayed quiet. But now…
She should have known something was wrong when his grip had tightened on her and he had not responded.
When she came to her class, she had been shocked to see William pummeling the poor professor to the ground. Two students were trying to rip him away but his big stature made it impossible.
It was only until she cried out for him to stop that the all consuming rage he was in stopped.
Seeing her terrified eyes spilling with tears as she begged him to stop hitting the old man made him feel regretful.
Not the old man’s blood on his hands or the traumatized faces of the college students watching. Those big e/c eyes looking at him with fear was what made him regret his decision.
The poor man who had done nothing but help Y/N get a step closer to fulfilling her dreams was crying weakly from the agonizing pain of his broken face bleeding heavily.
He was all but forgotten, as William stepped over his body towards the cowering little lady.
She looked fearful of him as he clasped her face in his bloodied hands. The crimson color smeared against her tear-stained cheeks.
“My dear please. This man wanted to separate us. He wanted to send you to that horrible school where you would be far away from me. Don’t you see how this would hurt us?” He tried to sway her with soothing words, the way he would always be able to manipulate her into doing what he wanted.
But not today.
She screamed and pushed him away as she ran out of the building.  He wanted to pursue her but he was tackled down by a police officer he hadn’t even seen sneaking up in him.
The gut wrenching scream he let out haunted her as she jumped in her car and sped off.
Everything seemed to go downhill from there. The professor who was assaulted had quit his job, for fear of being hurt in a place he deemed safe. He refused to answer to any of his students, especially to Y/N as she desperately tried to contact him.
She was worried for the well being of the man who had helped her. The man she had seen as a father figure when her own had looked down at her for being a woman.
The professor did not want to see her and she could do nothing but wallow in misery of the lost connection.
She was also scared of Willaim. She knew how controlling he was and against her furthering her education. She didn’t even want to see him.
She had not talked to William since that day. She had thought he would have been arrested but the constant calls she received from him proved otherwise.
He was put into police custody for the night and was left off with a warning in the morning. The authority was nothing to him when he opened his wallet.
He tried calling her, showing up in places he knew she would be it, anything to see her.
But the little rabbit avoided him so well. It made him foam at the mouth the more he couldn’t see her.
He wished he could continue to hunt her down and demand why she was avoiding him but his ownership at the pizzeria took up most of his time.
Until one day she called him after three weeks of silence.
“I’m pregnant.” She whimpered, “I thought the pill worked! But I called the company and they told me there was the risk that sometimes it won’t work and-“
His head was rushing with thoughts.
Pregnant. She was pregnant.
He never thought much of fatherhood but just thinking of a cute chubby baby with black hair and her big e/c eyes. He felt his possessiveness grow, a feeling to have her with him at an instant.
“I’m going to abort it, I’m going to my dream school and I just can’t take care of a baby right now. I felt that you should know.”
And just like that she went along and ruined it. She ruined it by running away from him and now she wanted to kill the product of their love.
He wouldn’t let her. But this time he would play his cards right.
“I understand,” he feigned his tone, “when and where will you do it? I’ll pay for it.” He knew she wouldn't be able to afford an abortion, being a college student and her traditionalist parents would have a meltdown if she asked them to help her pay for her abortion. Meanwhile his earnings from the Fazbear company left him with too much money for him to handle. He usually would spend it spoiling her but now he would have to support the little baby growing inside her.
As the naive little bunny she was, she told him where she planned to abort the baby.
After the call he dialed another number.
He knew it would break her heart, the things he would do to her. But it was for the best.
The morning of the planned abortion, Y/N had received a call from the director of her college.
When she was met by the cold tone of the director of her college, her eyes began to water.
“What are these accusations?” Her lip trembled, “I would never do such a thing!”
“Ms. L/N, the anonymous tip we received has enough evidence to prove you guilty of the attack of that poor old man. You're lucky your professor hasn’t decided to press charges against you.”
“But I would never hurt him! I don’t know what got into William when he attacked him but please understand I had nothing to do with it.”
“Save your breathe L/N, like I said, the only punishment that you will receive is expulsion from our school and that school he helped you get in? They have taken back their offer, you will not be attending their institution anytime soon.”
Y/N felt her world crumble down. “Y-you can’t do that.” She said in a trembling voice, “you don’t know how hard I worked to get into that school, please understand!” She started to sob.
The unsympathetic woman only sighed disappointed,”yes and for that it's a shame such a bright woman like yourself did this. You do know this will go on your record? Good luck getting into a college that will accept you, goodbye Ms. L/N.”
Like that the phone line went dead and with it your hope and aspirations.
But the universe couldn’t leave you alone.
Before you could bury your face in your hands and cry, there was a sudden banging at your door.
“Y/N!” You hear your mother screeching at you through the door.
The second bang to the door pushes you to run towards the door.
When you open it you’re met by your father’s disappointed face and your mother’s furious snarl.
“You little slut!” She screams at your face pushing you back.
You fall against the floor, looking at her bewildered, “w-what?”
“How dare you spread your legs like a common whore, have you no chastity?” She grabs at your hair, dragging you to your feet.
You tremble under her crazed stare as she shakes you,”we let you pursue your silly education and this is how you repay us?! By getting pregnant out of wedlock?! What will people say about us?!”
A strangled cry escapes your lips as you’re thrown across the room, your mother following you with raised fists.
She starts to slap at your face as you feebly try to cover your face. You look at your father who stares at you as your mother attacks you.
“Dad!” You cry out reaching out to him before being smacked in the face.
He stays complacent, unwilling to help you, eyes showing no mercy.
And yet you desperately continue to call out to him, “dad-! Daddy!” Another shrill cry escapes you as your mother pulls on your hair. She drags you across the room livid out of her mind.
“If you’re such a whore, I’ll treat you like one! I’m going to strip you naked in the streets so that everyone can see how you have disgraced yourself! You little bitch!” You cry out as she starts to rip at your clothes.
“No stop! Stop it!” The flowery blouse that William had gifted you tears under her harsh grip.
Cheeks flush in embarrassment as you cover your chest as she begins to rip at your skirt.
“STOP!” You screech as you sock her right in her face. She stumbles backwards silently, spitting out a tooth. You cover your mouth in shock, not meaning to hurt her so badly.
The look she gives you is reminiscent of a wild animal as she lunges at you.
“THAT’S ENOUGH OUT OF YOU!” A bigger body covers you from the incoming attack, the familiar British accent you know rough with rage.
William shoves the woman to the ground, his eyes screaming murder as he shakes with rage.
“How dare you attack my pregnant wife like that you stupid cunt!” He spits at her as grabs her by the neck, lifting her off the ground. She grabs at his neck as his grip tightens.
Your mother’s predatory gaze shrivels up into prey as she starts to beg for him to let go. You’re still stunned from her attacks, cupping the bruises on your face. Your father finally intervenes to save your mother, successfully getting her out of Willliam’s deadly grip.
“You’re a disgrace of a mother and I never want you to come near us again.” He threatened, “or else I won’t hold back next time.”
The older couple glanced at each other before silently walking away. Tails tucked between their legs.
As he watches them walk away, he hears your silent sobs as you wobbly get up.
He runs back to your side, hugging you in his arms. “It’s ok, I'm right here.” He picks you up in a princess carry, carrying you back to your house.
You’re too distraught to notice how he locks the door behind him and how his eyes hold a satisfied look.
Getting to your room, he places you on the bed gently before turning to your cloth drawers. He takes out one of his shirts (that he’s mildly surprised you still have some of his clothes) and turns to you. He gets you out of the ruined clothes and into the shirt that dwarfs you in size.
“Sweety let me see.” He mumbles gripping your chin to see the extent of the bruises on your face. Your poor lovely face was ruined by the wretch. When he had sent the recording of your conversation about getting rid of his child, (for he recorded all of your messages and calls together, he always wanted to remember every word you shared.) he had sent the recording to your parents in the form of a tape. He was grateful for her parents being old fashioned, because they had made his plan of locking her in with him that much easier. They would disown her and she would have no one to turn to. He made sure of that by getting her kicked out of her college and the offer of that horrible dream school. He went a step further by going to her workplace and sending in her letter of renouncement. He had mimicked the way she wrote and forged her signature at the end of the letter. The manager had taken it as believable and n had packed up all her working supplies in a box for him. A box that he would dump in a trash can, she would no longer need it in her future with him. He made sure to visit all of her friends and tell them lies about how Y/N never liked them. He would venomously lie about how Y/N only was friends with them to take advantage of them. They were all disgusted and vowed to never talk to her again. She was completely alone.
And finally he took care of her planned abortion. He had called the place and put on his most pitiful acting. He had told them that the woman who planned it (his girlfriend) had decided to keep it and would be moving states with him pretty soon. Which was all a lie, but the overworked employer had only responded with a monotone “ok.”
There was some truth to his lie, he did plan on taking her somewhere far away from her here. He would convince her that all those silly dreams she had were nothing and that she would be most happy as his housewife.
He held her as she silently cried in his chest, the sick bastard taking advantage of her vulnerability by telling her that she was alone and her future was over. How no one else wanted her but him. He would protect her from all the bad if she just did this one little thing for him.
“Marry me and keep our child.” He had murmured in her ears, “if you do this, it will make me very happy.” She had been shocked out of mind, ripping herself away from him and staring at him with horrified eyes.
“I-I can’t! I’m too young to marry and I don’t want to be a mother!” The warm look in his eyes immediately disappeared, making his onyx eyes even darker.
“Then I will leave you like everyone else. Don’t you see? I’m all you have now, you won’t be able to get a stable job, you have no money, you have no friends, no parents. I’m. All. You.  Have.” He hissed out grabbing her by the cheeks and squishing them together. Her teary eyes welling up as she whimpered, his eyes softened for a fraction before they hardened again.
“If you don’t do this for me, I will leave you and you will never hear from me ever again.” Of course that was a complete lie, she had no choice but to marry him. He would have her as his, willingly or forcefully. He much preferred willingly but he had no problem taking her forcefully.
“Don’t go!” She cried out clinging onto him, his lips twitching into a smile for he knew he had won.
“I’ll marry you, I’ll keep this baby but please don’t leave me!” She cried out, “you’re all I have!”
Once he knew she had accepted her place in his life, he had wrapped his arms around her. “Shh shh, that’s a good girl.” He reached into his pocket, taking out a small black box. He took her hand into his and slipped on the diamond ring on her ring finger. He placed a kiss on her hand as he cupped her face, “I will make you happy and you will never want for anything else when you’re with me.”
He had forced his place in her life, making him an immovable force. After that day he had packed all her things into his truck and had carried her to it. He drove for days to their new home, one of his properties near the Fazbear establishment. He had been thinking of moving there for a while, thanks to the close distance but never did because he was dating Y/N. Now he had a good reason for that would be the place he would keep her and the baby safe.
When they made it to the house he had held her close to his chest. He placed both her hands on her stomach before giving her a kiss on the cheek. “You will not regret this.”
He had married her when she was eighteen and he was twenty seven. The wedding was a private matter with only his business partner Henry as a witness to the marriage.
William chose to ignore how Henry had stared wide eyed at how young his bride to be was.
Instead he basked in the sight of his blushing bride who had looked at him with big e/c eyes as she said, “I do.”
The baby would be born in October and William felt that his life was complete. As his wife smiled at him tiredly from the harsh hours of labor.
A baby boy with his tufts of black hair and rosy cheeks stared up at him. Unfortunately, he didn’t inherit his mother’s pretty e/c eyes but instead his plain black ones. His son was the spitting image of him, from his little nose to the shape of his mouth. The only thing he inherited from his mother was her skin color and the texture of her hair.
William had only sighed internally, ‘oh well, the next one will look like her.’
He leaned down to place a kiss on his little forehead, his son’s black eyes widening before he started to cry out for his mother.
His poor wife practically sat up despite the soreness of childbirth and reached out her hands. “Please give me back Michael.”
He raised an eyebrow, before placing the weeping baby into her arms, “thought of a name already, have you?”
She shyly smiled, “I really like the name Michael.”
The next years flew by fast. She accepted her role as his housewife and mother like he knew she would. He would come home from a long day at work to his lovely wife making dinner and his babbling son reaching for him from his high chair. He felt blissful in his new life, the Fazbear company was running along smoothly, he had a cute son and a cuter wife that he obsessed over. Other than a few disagreements with her over her going back to school (how he wished she would just give up) everything went by fine.
He was able to convince her to give him two more children to add to their little family. This time around they looked like exact copies of his beautiful Y/N. The little boy, which he had named Evan, inherited those big e/c eyes he adored and he was an exact replica of his darling wife. Ever since Michael decided he was a big boy and that being babied by his dad (but not his mom) was not cool, William had defeatedly accepted that his days of cuddling his son were over. That was until Evan was born, who stared up at him with big e/c eyes. When William had kissed him on the forehead, the little boy had only looked back at him with wonder. In areas where Michael was a boisterous toddler that would wrestle his way out of William’s arms whenever he held him, Evan was the complete opposite.
The sweet boy would coo at him and cuddle into his arms. He would be compliant whenever William bottle fed him. Anytime he would cry a quick reassuring word from his papa would make the tears go away. It was a bigger contrast to Michael who would throw full on tantrums and have meltdowns every other day. William would try to calm him down but would have to accept that the only way to calm him down was through the angel that was Y/N. If it was the rare day where he was left alone with his two sons, William would pray that Michael didn’t cry because he couldn’t do anything to appease him. With that William came to favor Evan more over Michael. He knew it was bad to choose favorites, but who could blame him? Michael was a little brat that took away most of the attention of Y/N and would cry whenever he didn’t get his way. Meanwhile William didn’t mind Evan taking up Y/N’s time, in his eyes Evan was just a smaller version of Y/N who could do no wrong. The little h/c haired boy had the sweetest smile reminiscent of his mother’s. His cold heart warmed a little every time he saw Evan running to him after a day at work.
If Evan made William’s heart warm, then his little Elizabeth made his heart melt. The little girl was her mother all over again. From the pictures of his wife as a baby, the little baby girl was the spitting image. Just like with Evan, he would be a more active parent figure in her life. He would observe how Y/N would take care of her needs, from the little exercises the doctor recommended, to how Y/N would gently tie her little hairs into cute little hairstyles she would learn from the neighborhood housewives.
Soon enough it would be him helping in brushing out her soft hair and tying them in pastel little bows. Her little excited squeals whenever he would play peek-a-boo made him die every time from adoration. He would spoil both Evan and Elizabeth in sweets and toys, giving them whatever they wanted.
His possessiveness not only grew with his wife but it extended with his two younger children as well. So much so that he forced Evan to be homeschooled by a private tutor he had hired. He planned to do the same with Elizabeth when she started her schooling. Y/N had meekly argued that it was a necessary part of Evan’s development to be around more little kids his age. William had waved her off stating that he only needed his family. “Unless you want to have more children?” He had eyed her suggestively, she had shut down the idea, not wanting to get pregnant so soon after giving birth to her daughter.
All of his love and devotion were centered around his wife and two younger children, that he completely neglected his oldest son.
While Elizabeth and Evan were kept in the house, Michael was practically forced out. William put him in the public school’s kindergarten and Y/N along with his siblings would have to drop him off every morning. Those trips in the morning were more exciting compared to the boring school day he would have. On important days, Y/N would take them to McDonald’s to get them pancakes for breakfast. Even though William had forbide them from going there, for being direct competitors against Fazbear’s Pizzeria. Michael would be surrounded by the smiling faces of his mother, little brother, and baby sister. Every time he would be dropped off, he would whine when his mother would tell him to kiss her and his siblings goodbye. He would always be discreet and make sure none of his classmates would see him. He didn’t need them to make fun of him more than they already did. These loving moments between his mother and siblings would overshadow his depressing relationship with his father.
William would pick him up from school, but instead of the joyous smile his father would give his siblings, he would just grunt ‘how was school?‘ To which Michael would blandly remark, ‘good.’ For he knew that his father was completely uninterested in whatever he had to say.
Even at the young age of five, Michael had realized that he was unwanted by his father.
He never could understand why his father looked at him with indifference when he was practically wrapped around his younger siblings’ fingers. Michael had wondered that if he had the same eye and hair color of his siblings, if his father would have loved him more. If he looked more like his mother would his father give him the time of day? Y/N, aware of the unfair treatment that his son was facing from his father, doubled down on her parenting. In areas where William would ignore Michael whenever he was at home, Y/N made sure to reach out towards him and ask him how he was feeling. She would spoil him by making his favorite foods and desserts. Whenever she would wake up to his small sniffling in the night, she would leave the tight grip of her husband and enter his room. Each and every time she would hold him and calm him down. Whether it would be a nightmare or his sadness from being alone at school or the absence of his father, she wouldn’t leave until he calmed down. Sometimes he would bury himself in the comfort of his mother’s embrace and ask her to not leave until he falls asleep. Half-asleep already, Y/N would mumble an agreement before drifting off to sleep as well.
It would not be until the morning where she would be shaken awake by William. His face pulled into a frown as he stared disapprovingly of her leaving their bed.
Now sure they had their disagreements. Originally they were around his refusal to let her go back to college but those ended when Y/N had given up. Now they were centered around Michael.
“The teacher said he got into a fight today.” Y/N had mentioned as she folded her children’s clothes, “she says he’s been having issues with getting along with the other children. He always spends his time alone at school.”
William had just shrugged off her concerns, “Y/N kids fight. It’s a normal part of life and sometimes the violent response is the better option. As for the no friends part- Just look at me! I didn’t have any friends all my schooling years and I turned out fine! Doesn’t sound like anything bad to me.”
Y/N looked at him bewildered, “William I’m sorry you had to experience that but he’s a little boy! I don’t want him to get into fights or be alone all the time…”
William just sighed, “well you’re a better mother than my mum was if you think that way..”
Her pretty e/c eyes nervously looked down at the folded pile, the way she bit her lip was the signal that she was about to say something that William wasn’t going to like.
“Listen, the school semester just started and it’s not too late to enroll Evan..”
William’s neutral expression turned into a scowl.  “We are not going to enroll Evan in a public school. He’s doing just fine in homeschooling.”
Y/N shook her head as she turned her attention to him, her e/c eyes filled with an unyielding determination.
“His tutor retired and hiring another one is a bigger hassle than simply enrolling him in the public school. Besides, Michael won’t be alone anymore and he’d at least have his brother with him at school.”
“No,” William glowered, “Evan will not go to school. I will find him another bloody tutor even if it costs me more. My word is final.”
It would seem that William had gotten soft on her over the years for she didn’t submit to his demands as easily as she used to.
“Every time we drop Michael off at school, Evan’s always asks when he will get to go there. Don’t you see, William? Evan wants to go to school and he wants to play with the other children. He misses his brother all day long and he’s bored out of his mind with just the tutor! A little boy shouldn’t be trapped in a house and Lord knows I can’t entertain him all the time! My hands are full with Elizabeth. He deserves to have fun all the time instead of short periods of time when Elizabeth takes her naps!” She takes a deep inhale of air from her outburst before calming down.
William’s stares shocked her. His previous ire melting away to guilt. He hadn’t realized how his decision to keep Evan at home caused bigger issues. Just imagining his poor boy bored out of his mind and his sweet Y/N trying her best to maintain both he and his sister at the same time. He hadn't realized this for he was at work all the time.
“Fine.” William grumbled, “you can enroll him in school.”
Y/N let out a sigh of relief, thinking she had to beg on her knees to get him to agree.
“Thank you,” she says leaning in to give him a kiss on the lips.
He leaned in, grabbing at her hips, squeezing the plentiful flesh. Many men say that pregnancy ruins their wives, but William wholeheartedly disagrees. Not only did she give him two beautiful children and Michael, but her figure had also drastically changed.
Her once thin body had flourished with the pregnancy weight. Her hips had gotten wider which he always grabbed to pull her close to him. She had a cute little tummy that he would squeeze whenever she was cooking. She would always squeal and hit him out of embarrassment but he would only kiss her cheek. Not to mention her thighs were so pillowy and soft. Oftentimes William would daydream at work about said thighs. Of having her thighs wrapped around his head as he went to town on her sweet cunt.
Her ass and breasts had gotten larger, enough of the times he would smack her on the ass whenever she would be bent down helping Michael with his homework. She would glare at him while he gave her a mischievous look.
Not to mention the beautiful rack of tits she possessed. After a long day at work, he felt that it was worth it if it meant he could bury his face between her breasts. He loved to fondle them between his large hands, knowing there would be plenty of soft flesh for him to grab.
She would always whine at him to be gentle for she didn’t want to accidentally lactate. ‘It’s so embarrassing,’ she would hitch out between moans as he squeezed her breasts. Between the rough pounding of his hips against hers, she would squirm away from his kisses that would tickle her neck all the way to her chest. He would never suck on her nipples but he would suck hickies all over her breasts. Small bruises littering her heaving breasts as she cried out as he played with her little clit. The intense rubbing of his fingers on the bundle of nerves, his kisses on her chest, and the harsh thrusts he would deliver to her weeping core had her crying out as she orgasmed.
Her warm insides would clench on his member, so tightly enough for him groan as he released inside her. Their soft panting is the only sound in the room. He would lean in to kiss her on the lips, tongue sneaking into her panting mouth as she reciprocated the kiss.
Just like now as she leans away from the kiss.
“Thank you William.” She softly smiled as she walked away to get started on dinner. He stares mesmerized by the swaying of her hips. He made a mental note to hire a babysitter soon. One that could take the children away for a day or two so that he could make himself home in her warm cunt. It’s been a while since they last made love, they were too busy with the children and the stress of keeping quiet to keep their children in the unknown. He swore that the minute they were out of the house he was going to rip her from her clothes and start fucking her where ever they were at. It didn’t matter if they were at the entrance of the house or the kitchen. He was going to batter her pussy so good that she would be crying out in overstimulation. It had been a while since he had overstimulated her, he couldn’t wait to hear her cry out for him to give her a break from their love making. He would have fucked her in so many positions, Full Nelson, Doggstyle, you name it. When she’s beg for him to stop pounding into her sensitive cunt, he’d only respond by locking her in a mating press that would definitely guarantee her getting pregnant with his fourth child-
He needed to hire a babysitter as soon as possible.
The day of Evan’ first day of school was unlike no other. You had taken the children to McDonalds as per tradition. You sipped on your hot coffee as you watched Evan fidget from the corner of your eye. He had been so excited to finally attend a school where there would be many children his age. He had talked about it non stop these past days, going on to annoy his older brother with his questions. “It’s not as great as you think it is,” Michael grumbled out. His negative commentary was ignored by Evan running around the house with stars in his eyes.
That excited energy he had leading up to his first day of school had vanished when he got onto the drive there.
Now he nervously fidgeted with the toy he got from the happy meal. Anxiously awaiting for the ride to be over. When you had parked the car in the parking lot you turned around to give him a warm smile. The sweet boy only smiled nervously back, as he glanced at the many kids who were already walking in with their parents. Michael had told you beforehand he felt embarrassed walking in with Evan on his first day, so you gave him the go ahead to walk in first.  He had quickly kissed your cheek and leaned in the back seat to kiss Elizabeth’s chubby cheek. She let out a giggle as she cooed at him. His black eyes softened for a moment before his eyes turned to Evan. He gave him a quick nod which the smaller boy reciprocated. He hopped out of the car with a “see you later.” Being in second grade he already was familiar with his school and felt confident enough to walk alone.
Evan watched after him owlishly, impressed by how cool his older brother looked walking without any of their parents. He wanted to be just like him.
“Evan.” You softly say, his big e/c eyes snap back onto your own. His worried little face
reminded you of how you felt when it was your first day of school. You nostalgically remember how your mother had forced you into an uncomfortable dress and had pulled your hair into a tight ponytail. You remember how your parents had just left you in front of the school before driving off. You were lost on your first day and arrived late to your classroom. The teacher had grabbed your hand tightly and had pulled out a ruler to smack your arm red and raw. You remember the humiliation as the other children laughed at you as tears ran down your chubby cheeks.
Suddenly Evan’s not the only anxious person in the car as you start to worry about him. Was this a good idea? Should you have just let William find him another tutor so that he can continue being homeschooled? What if the other children started to bully him? What if one of the teachers hit him? The times were different now where teachers weren’t allowed to hit their students. But Lord help you, you may not be able to fight any little kids, but you would jump on any teacher who even thought about hurting your baby.
“Mama.” His soft voice echoed in the car, “I think I’m ready.” His determined e/c eyes that reminded you so  much of your own. Your anxieties melted away once you realized how he was trying his best to remain brave. Even if he was anxious, he was pushing through to be able to go to school. If he was willing to go through with it, then so were you.
“Ok, give mama a quick second to get your sister out of her seat.”
You pushed Elizabeth in her stroller as you walked onto the elementary school. Evan clung onto your dress as his big eyes took in the sights around him. He resembled a scared little rabbit as he watched the many boisterous children running around in the play area and the swarms of them everywhere.
You knew it would be hard for him to adjust to a new environment. He was going from only seeing his family to the many children and new faces at the school. Many people stopped to watch as the pretty lady and her equally pretty children walked on campus. All of them were allured by their soft looking h/c hair and dazzling e/c eyes. Noticing how people were staring at him, Evan hid his head in your dress as you walked. You let out a chuckle, used to the attention you would receive when you would go anywhere with your children. There was a reason William was possessive of you three and kept you all close to him. Even before you were married to him, he was conscious of the many people who would ogle you shamelessly and only stop when he would give them a death glare.
Once you made it to his classroom, you had already spotted the kindergarten teacher who taught Michael when he first started kindergarten. Next to her a lady holding a clipboard was giving passing children a strained grin. Her smile seemed to tighten as she saw you three approaching. “This must be Evan Afton! How are you, little man?” Evan’s teacher grinned at him. Evan shyly smiled, mumbling a  “good, thank you.”
The kind man looked at you, “I’ll be getting him settled in while you fill out the paperwork with Mrs. Priscilla over here.” The woman gives you a nod of acknowledgement. “Alright Evan, I’ll be leaving you here with your teacher. Remember that if you need anything, just ask him to call me and I’ll be here as soon as I can. You’ll be able to find Michael during break time.” You got done on one knee, bringing him to your chest. You leave a smooch on his cheek that makes him blush from embarrassment as other children start to get in the classroom, “remember I love you and I hope you have fun on your first day here! Ok?” He nods embarrassed, already pulling away from you. His teacher chuckles at his behavior, “alright kiddo, I have to introduce you to the class!”
As he takes your son to his class, he looks back at you unsure. You give him a reassuring smile and a thumbs up that makes him reciprocate the gesture.
Even if he looked to be in good hands, you can’t help but let out a wavering breath, the small part in you worrying that something bad will happen to him. Then again, you felt the same nervous feeling dropping off Michael in preschool, in kindergarten, in first grade, and in second grade.
The nerves would probably never go away, but they would get easier with time.
The lady next to you calls for your attention, “right this way miss.” You had forgotten she was there, you follow after her into the office.
Once you're done filling out the information for Evan you hand the information to the lady. She gives you a tight lipped smile, “thank you for filling this out. I’ll be sure to put it into the system for it to be easier to register him in for the next few years.”
She begins to type into her computer, as you walk out with Elizabeth.
She stops for a second before she calls out again, “and please tell your father to park his car before picking up his son. It’s dangerous for Michael to be getting in his car in the middle of a busy street.” You stop in your tracks confused at her words, “my father?”
The last you’ve heard of your father was through your mother calling you and telling you of his death. She had blamed you for his demise claiming that the stress of having a whore as a daughter had shortened his life span. You had only blocked her number from contacting you again.
So it was understandable to say you were confused on how your deceased father would be able to pick up your son from school when his dead body was buried a couple of states over.
She glanced from her computer, pulling down her glasses. “William Afton?” She said  questionly.
You almost gasped out loud from the misunderstanding. All you could do is stand there, gaping at her as she looked puzzled from your shock.
There was no way from the times you’ve called and interacted with the school that they had assumed William was your father.
Even though there was almost a decade age difference, he was too young to even be considered your father. He didn’t even look like he could be your father!
“I’m sorry there seems to be a misunderstanding!” You tell her, “William Afton isn’t my father, he’s my husband!”
The look of horror on her face made you feel self conscious as she quickly opened a bin of files. After shifting through them, she pulls out one file where she quickly shifts through it.  Once she pulls out a sheet of paper that you assume is the list of your phone number and William’s phone number that she gasps out. Her eyes horrified at seeing your name highlighted as the mother of Michael and Evan. She had assumed you were nothing but a sister to the little boys.
You almost bury your face in your hands from embarrassment when she gives you a pitied look, “my apologies…I assumed you were a cousin or a sister to the little boys.”
(Translation: She lets out a scream, “you’re married to that piece of shit?!” )
“It’s alright..” you say, gripping the stroller as Elizabeth begins to squirm, wanting to get out and stretch out her legs.
As you leave, you can hear her whisper, "poor woman.”

WOOOOOOOO!!!!
It's Megaman's birthday today and y'know what I decided to do?
Make a post about my au about Roll. XD
Well, sort of.
Fr though, I really do love the Megaman franchise. It's one of the main reasons I draw today and want to get better at story telling. I honestly would've made a full drawing instead of a handful of doodles, but life gets busy and I need my sleep.
Anyways, last time I posted I showed you guys this design I came up with for Roll's armor.
Tumblr media
This time though, I wanna talk a bit more about Rock's part in the au because despite what I say, he is still a main character in the au.
Doodles under the cut.
First I had to get a good grasp on who Rock is as a character before figuring out what he'd be like in the au. Canonically, he's a kind, courageous boy, with a strong sense for justice and is very polite towards others but is a little naive.
With that in mind I think he'd largely be the same in the au, only difference being he's more protective of Roll and does his best to be the responsible one. However being responsible does mean he's a rule follower, it makes Rock feel guilty.
Despite the new protective streak though, Rock definitely knows Roll's willingness to wreck Wily's newest machines like there's no tomorrow, which does worry him a bit, but he's very glad she's on his side.
This actually brings up a theme I want to incorporate: opposites complimenting each other.
Rock truly believes in Dr. Light's dream and wants it to become reality, on the flipside, Roll's more concerned with things happening in the moment. Rock absolutely hates fighting, Roll finds it fun. Rock is more quick to accept obstacles as they are, meanwhile Roll always looks for another way.
That last thing actually leads me to bringing up an old concept from an entirely different au. Because Roll always looks for another solution, what if she managed to befriend some of the bosses from some of the games?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rock wants to stop fighting and actively tries to dissuade the robots he fights, but accepts it as inevitable because he doesn't see another option. Roll however is more empathic to other robots issues and unlike Rock is too stubborn to give up on finding a different way. Through her empathy, Roll may be able to dissuade robots from fighting by reaching out a helping hand.
Obviously, this doesn't work for every robot master, but it will work for some, and it's this that gives Rock hope throughout the many battles he and Roll find themselves in.
It's the main reason he keeps putting the armor back on when Wily comes back with another plot. As long as Rock has Roll to fight alongside, there will always be another way. Maybe one of those ways will lead to the peace they both want.
That's just Rock for now, there's still even more to think of. Like Protoman.
Much like Rock, Protoman is largely unchanged with the only difference being that he is more willing to show up and spend time with Rock and Roll in a mentor sort of role.
This is because with both of them in active fighting roles, they're gonna need some training. This happens after the twins beat Wily as a team for the first time, so before or after MM3. Blues helps Rock with aim and difficult jumps, while he helps Roll come up with new ways to use her broom. They all also do team exercises so they can fight more effectively, but they don't always accomplish their goals. Blues is a tough teacher and the twins ended up running back to Light Labs after one of them collapsed during training.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They were so freaked out after the first few times it happened. One time they both passed out during training, dw Blues carried them home as a good big brother should.
Tumblr media
There's still more to think of with this au. I have a lot in mind, including merging this au with that Megaman X au I've been thinking about. Y'all will probably know which one it is, I have very few au's here.
Overall, Rock and Roll both want peace between humans and robots, they just have different mindsets that influence how they go about it individually. That's why I think it's so important that they fight together.
Tumblr media
With that said enjoy this final doodle of Megaman and Sunstar. I like to think that Rock, with Roll and Rush's support, managed to find a way to save Sunstar in this au and the two became buddies.
Tumblr media
Sunstar really likes his little friend, but not nearly as much as Mercury likes Roll
Tumblr media
She's his favorite.

Kismet/*NSYNC Trolls Headcanons
youtube
While I'm not sure if *NSYNC will ever reappear in the Trolls franchise as their Trolls equivalents, it's certainly not stopping me from thinking up theories of how the band formed and sharing headcanons I have about the characters themselves. I admit I've loosely based my headcanons about the characters based on what I've learnt about the actors themselves, but overall, I've tried to think the characters as original and not simply rip-offs of their actors.
How the band started:
Hype and Branch started as childhood friends, forming their friendship not long after Branch's brothers left the Troll Tree. I imagine they met in preschool/pre-k and/or Grandma Rosiepuff used to babysit for Hype (I give credit to glitterysparklystuffz from Instagram for that idea) and the two youngsters formed a friendship as result.
Sadly, their friendship became strained after Branch lost his grandma and turned grey. Branch stopped singing and became more interested in preparing for a potential Bergen attack, traumatised by the loss of his beloved grandmother and terrified at the thought of the Bergens finding them again. He spent more time preparing for a potential Bergen attack and spent less time with Hype. Fearing that Hype was only friends with him due to his singing abilities and that he would eventually leave him like his brothers did Branch pushed Hype away, leaving himself friendless and alone...until a certain pink princess began making attempts to win him over and to help him find happiness again. Eventually, we know from the True Colours moment of Trolls that it worked.
youtube
Eventually after regaining his colours and his confidence to sing again, Branch made amends with Hype, apologising for pushing him away. Hype also apologised for not being there for his friend during his time of need. Despite some rough moments between them, Branch and Hype managed to rekindle their friendship.
Hype introduced Branch to his new adult friends: Ablaze, Boom and Trickee. They immediately bonded over their love of performing and the band Brozone (which Hype knew Branch was formerly apart of). Eventually, the group formed their own band, *Kismet and even made a record. They were not quite as popular as Brozone but they still have a number of committed fans.
Regardless of their success, Branch insisted that they keep his name and face anonymous from the group as he wasn't ready to go public or reveal his boy band past to Poppy and the other trolls. Hype and the rest of the group respected Branch's wishes and agreed to respect his privacy.
Their performance in Trolls Band Together was their first live performance.
Character Profiles:
Hype:
He and Branch are the groups tenors. They're also the youngest members of the group.
He's known for his energy and hyper dance moves. This is the reason he was named Hype. He does the bands choreography.
Though he's considered charming and is very popular with his love-struck fans, Hype is actually very shy when it comes to love and dating. Though he hopes to find love someday, for now he's quite happily single.
He loves critters and has a pet much like the Troll version of a dog.
After his childhood friend, Branch, his favourite member of Brozone is Clay as he admires his dance moves, especially the famous Rusty Robot dance move, later the Well-Oiled robot. He also loves a good joke like Clay secretly still does.
He's pretty easy-going and loyal to his friends. Though he's also pretty sensitive and doesn't like conflict.
When Branch made amends with him, he didn't hesitate to forgive him for pushing him away. He secretly always missed his childhood friend during their years of estrangement, but felt it wasn't wise to invade his personal space as he feared he'd be rejected again.
Ablaze:
Ablaze is the baritone singer of *Kismet.
Ablaze is the loudest and most exuberant member of the group.
He's Boom's best friend and business partner in their fireworks business: Ablaze and Boom's Fantastic Fireworks. He runs the business and customer service side of the operation. Though he has the energy and charisma of a car salesman, he's always as honest as he is charming with customers. He won't give them anything but the best.
An incredibly loyal and supportive friend to Boom, whom he loves like a brother.
Though considered very handsome and charming to a lot of lady trolls, his heart belongs to his long-term girlfriend turned wife. They had an on-off relationship in their teenage years but are now fully committed to each other and are hoping to start a family.
His favourite member of Brozone is Spruce, now Bruce. When he was younger it was because of his status as the Heartthrob, but now in present day he respects him because he's a wonderful father and husband to Brandy. He hopes to get parenting tips from him.
He'll do anything to make others smile, and sometimes laugh.
Boom:
Boom is the bass-baritone singer of *Kismet.
Boom has a close brotherly friendship with Ablaze. Though quieter and more reserved than his best friend, both have a shared love of performing and bringing joy to others.
He's the creative and brainy pyrotechnic for his and Ablaze's fireworks business. He handles fireworks with the care and technical expertise of a mechanic or rocket scientist, yet also has a lot of flair for colour and shape when setting them up.
He's got a good eye for fashion and style. He feels it's the best way to express yourself.
Like Hype, he's a got a great love and respect for critters. I imagine he's a vegetarian or vegan.
In his spare time, he loves starwatching and studying their constellations.
He's rather slow at picking up on jokes and puns (as shown at the end of Trolls Band Together).
Boom's favourite member of Brozone is Floyd because he's so sweet, sensitive yet also so genuine and real. He loves Floyd's new emo hairstyle especially with frosted parts added to his magenta hair (it reminds him a bit of strawberries and cream soft serve ice-cream). Though he also feels bad for the torture Floyd went through that resulted in his hair bleaching and hopes he's doing okay.
Trickee:
Trickee is *Kismet's countenor singer.
Trickee's favourite member of Brozone is John Dory, both because they're the oldest member of their respective singing group and also because they're both considered the more underrated members as well. John Dory's respective googles inspired his own style choice of googles, but he did want to do his own personal spin on them.
He's great with children and often volunteers at the local children's section of the Trolls hospital. He'll often perform for them and does tricks for them like balloon animals. Anything to make them smile.
He has a great flair for hairstyles and fashion. He has a few younger sisters who love him doing their hair and giving them fashion tips.
He works as a hairstylist at Maddy's Hair Salon.
Both he and Boom were responsible for the groups personal style choices. They often worked one-on-one with Satin and Chenielle in making the groups outfits.
I'd love to hear your own *Kismet theories and headcanons. I encourage us all to be respectful to each other's opinions.

By the way, the way Deadpool jumps around from past to present is inspired.
One of the hardest things about superhero movies is that the first one is usually pretty slow. It has the obligation of being an origin story, so it has to do a lot of setup. It needs to explain who these characters are, why they have superpowers, what they're motivated to do with those superpowers, why they're motivated to do it, etc.
Meanwhile, the audience just wants to see a guy dressed in red throw a nut-punch into a guy with robot tentacles. That's the appeal. Audiences have soured on origin stories because it's necessary but slow-paced busy-work that has to be done before we can see the cool shit.
This is why the second movie of a given hero franchise is often the best. All the setup is done and it can start doing the cool shit straight from minute 1.
Deadpool uses its flashbacks and flashforwards as a way of counterbalancing the two. It still contains an origin story, it still has to, but it uses achronal storytelling to ensure that we're never overwhelmed by the slow but important setup scenes.
The back-and-forth contrast between developing Wade's life and circumstances vs. Deadpool stabbing guys and being wacky gets the fun going right from the get-go. It keeps the audience's eye on the ball for what the rest of the film will be like once it gets there. This, in turn, helps the necessary setup scenes go down smoother.
The audience doesn't become impatient with the setup because they're always just a couple minutes away from the next gonzo Deadpool scene. This is part of the magic that made this movie so successful.
