If a history-based work is good and inaccurate it’s because it’s a piece of art that sacrificed some points of accuracy for the sake of storytelling and conveying themes deeper and more important than a straightforward recounting of facts. If it’s bad and inaccurate then that’s just another reason why it sucks

Ohhh it really only sinks in to me now that somehow they skipped over Tao for crosstag and that's absolute bastard behavior given it's like the closest thing to an upbeat Ragna ending as we get.

At the same time though it's probably for the best because I imagine as soon as Tao sees him again she'd latch on and never let go, which wouldn't work very well in a fighting game

They would have had to add a "Tao Gauge" where you had a special input to pat Tao on the head until she was emotionally secure enough to let you go for about...ten seconds. Once those ten seconds are up she makes a beeline back to hugging Ragna and if the enemy is standing between her and Good Guy they very shortly regret it.
