Hey, everyone! I am trying to make more of a conscious effort to post videos on my YouTube, not just shorts. I've been recording the process for these two guys. I am pretty happy with them! I just need to add some OSL on the second one and attach them both to their bases.

These two are from One Page Rules, a sort of offshoot of warhammer and grimdark. It's easy to learn, and the models are so detailed! The robot is part of the Robot Legions faction, whereas the reptilian is part of the Saurian Star Hosts faction.

I hope to collect more of these models for my future projects. They're fun to paint!

Context: so my twin and I were discussing the anachronistic use of child labor in MAWS, manifested in the form of the Newskid Legion (a normal thing to talk about). Like its inherently a non-concept because you have this futuristic city with holograms and advanced robots but your futuristic Metropolis still employs child labor for something as easily automated as delivering newspapers (MAWS clearly has casual robots cleaning the parks but not sending newspapers? That still has to be done by children on bikes??).

The Newskid Legion are obviously a forced reference to the comics that is at odds with the worldbuilding the show set up, it's not stylishly anachronistic like BTAS was etc etc. yes MAWS has terrible writing we know this already. So we started thinking of a version of the Newskid Legion scenes with a lil R2-D2 esque robot instead. You can say I've created a silly lil MAWS OC.

... And DONE. Pretty happy with the paint job, he looks much better than he did before and now fits much better with my new models. The arms are at slightly different angles now than the WIP pics because I gently knocked him over and BOTH of them fell off... >_<
