Okay now this is clearly an attempt by Trump to distance himself from Project 2025 given it's so radical it puts off moderate voters and encourages people to go out and vote, not only that Project 2025 has insane authoritarian proposals that clearly shows the GOP as a threat to democracy. That's why Democrats need to hammer Republicans on this issue and spread awareness, it's something they want avoid otherwise Trump wouldn't disavow the Heritage Project. Spread the word and make sure your community knows about the dark future Republicans want for America, those traitors only hold loyalty to God and their own race nothing more! Let's not mince words the Republicans are authoritarian and wish to erode American democracy, we must save America and our melting pot of democracy!

Hey.man I'm going to say it. Too many people are being REALLY wierd about the whole "US/Canadian mikus. Genuinely as a Hispanic/Asian person. What counts as culture to you? What do you get out of putting down fun lighthearted drawings of convience store miku? "Oh US/BRIT/CAN DONT HAVE CULTURE. EVERYONE POINT AND LAUGH." Treating casual clothes from a foreign country as more exotic and culturally rich is not the woke take you think it is. stop being wierd.

mostly just ranting here since ive already blocked them, but:
what the fuck does the third person on your blocklist mean by ‘cantonese culture’. i speak cantonese and i consider myself a hongkonger, and chinese. i was raised here, and there is specifically culture in hong kong? that is hong kong culture? yes we share similarities with the other parts of china that speak cantonese (guangdong, macau, guangxi) but theres still major differences in how we all act. these are different cultures and you cant just lump us all in as ‘cantonese culture’.
one of the other posts you screenshotted said that if people were using chinese mythology, they wouldn’t be making characters poc/using poc actors. have they actually been to china? its not that poc people dont exist here (there is 100% racism here to black people, not saying that doesnt exist), its that they’re usually the outliers. most people arent as dark as black people are. and greece is near the equator! people are tan there! why do they want everyone to be white, when people there are going to be darker based on geographical location alone?
retellings of myth can be done by those of that ethnicity, who grew up hearing those stories/reading/etc. but its also okay for other people to use those stories, and to tell those stories themselves. after all, we all just want to share our stories with the world.
(also, greco-roman art and architecture is a major influence on modern structures, and the fucking columns are a point of this. if that culture is wide enough to have been used in architecture of a school in a ‘different culture’ to its origin, maybe its just something we all use??? no one ethnicity owns the concept of a wok, or a type of stove, or anything else. you cant inherently have an ethnicity or a race ‘own’ a concept.)
(feel free to post w no comment, or to delete this ask entirely)

((Hoyo really put the concerns of some of the elders in Modern Day China here, good gosh
A bit of China talk under the tags))
#OOC#Basically to summarize one of the concerns in China#One of China's sentiment is that their government kept insisting that other countries ESPECIALLY the US loves picking on China#And China would someday be strong enough to 'beat' the US and take over as the world's superpower#All this talk while the rich China politicians send their kids over to the US to study because of China's education system and all that#What Sushang is saying is similar to the concerns of traditional Chinese people in modern era#Is that because China 'always gets bullied and pushed around' (it doesn't help that their government is a bully too)#The kids are leaning more towards other foreign cultures such as the US while not having much of China's tradition and heritage#Basically it became a 'Westernization' of China where the West started to influence China and those who are proud of their home are worried#It doesn't help that the Chinese elders still remember the Nanjing Massacre back at the VERY old days when Imperial Japan was around#So not only are the nationalists seeing their kids be influenced by Western media and stuff#They also don't respect tradition and culture that much either and it doesn't help that politicians are sending their child overseas#instead of working on their own education system#For those who are aware of the famous Japanese song: Senbonzakura it's very similar#I think I pretty much ranted enough but yeah#tl;dr: Sushang's words are pretty much one of the biggest concerns of Modern-day China among people who love their nation

i am fat white trash, nursing my cavities while surrounded by my own filth. i sit with my belly out, wearing my shitty black vans t shirt, and i collect crumbs on my chest. my hairy arms lead to hairy hands and to thick, stubby fingers which reach out to a TV remote and change the channel to something broadcasting dirt racing. i parade my neon-painted replica stock-car pieces when i invite you into my “man cave” (dirty, disgusting garage or shed which reeks of cheap beer and lingering body odour). i am short, and ugly, and i smell, and my skin is dotted with acne. my body is stout and built for starvation which will never reach me. my arms shake when i take too much of the medicine i stole from my mom which she stole from someone else. my dad doesn’t love me and i fucking hate him. i am fat white trash, nursing my cavities, in my filthy den, and do you love me anyway? or do you want to beat the shit out of me in a parking lot for being a “poser”?
