Natto 納豆 the fermented slimy soybean
I’m always looking for inspiration for what to eat for breakfast.
So today I wanna tell you about natto.

Natto is one of the traditional Japanese fermented foods.
It is one of those healthy foods that people love to hate or love to eat.
Either way, it is considered incredibly nutrious. 
Eating natto improves digestion, bone health, immunity, heart and brain health, aids weight loss and reduces cancer risks. It is rich in vitamin K and soybean-derived protein, which is essential for making blood coagulation factors and is a high-quality protein source.
Natto originally comes from Ibaraki prefecture. There are several theories as to why they named it as it is. In the past, Monks who prepared and ate natto in the temple kitchen came up with the name of nashomame. Afterward, they shortened it to natto. The second theory is that in the olden days, locals made soybeans in rice straw. 
Another theory is about it being a gift for God. Bacteria in the boiled beans living in rice straw accidentally bred while serving it on the Kamidana 神棚. Eventually the beans created strings by chance.
There are different types of natto according to their size and color. It has a unique smell and it is very slimy. 
You can easily buy it in styrofoam packs, complete with servings of soy sauce and mustard.
Some say that mixing the beans 100 times will bring you good luck. 
It is usually put on top of rice and eaten as a side dish, with a raw egg or some spring onions.

Sick Day Since it's the time of the year again where my instagram feed is flooded with memes about how everyone is getting sick and I start avoiding people even more than usual cause I almost died from pneumonia once, I got inspired to do some doodling.
I already explored the hilarity of man-flu Severus Snape in the past, so now I ventured on to man-flu Aegon (because Aemond would probably just suffer in silence).
And for the people who can't decipher my atrocious handwriting:
Top left Aemond: Still not better? Aegon: F*ck off.
Top right Servant: Is it enough blankets, your grace? Aegon: *miserable sniff
Middle Aegon: *violent sneeze Aegon: Kill me, Aemond. Aemond: Don't be so dramatic, your grace. Aegon: Your king demands it. Aemond: Let's get you back to bed. Bottom Aemond: I should be at a council meeting...I can't move. Artist's notes: 1. After drawing the picture of blanket-pile Aegon, I noticed he looks like an Onigiri.
