How to Reduce Product Return Rate on E-commerce Business Model?
In order to reduce product return rates on an e-commerce business model, it is crucial to focus on providing accurate product descriptions and high-quality images. By ensuring that customers have a clear understanding of what they are purchasing, you can minimize the likelihood of returns due to misunderstandings or discrepancies between expectations and reality.

I find the fact that the confrontation at the end of UTRH is often summarized as Jason asking Bruce to kill the Joker for him fascinating.
Because that's not what happened.
Jason holds a gun up to Joker's head, gives Bruce another, and tells him that if Bruce doesn't do something (shoot Jason), he will kill Joker.
Jason doesn't give the gun to Bruce so that he would shoot Joker. He isn't expecting Bruce to pull the trigger on the clown. He's asking Bruce to do nothing. To be inactive. Because that will still be a choice, and despite having done nothing, everybody clearly agrees that Bruce would still, at least in part, be responsible for Joker's death.
...And to me, this moment is a kind of- microcosm, of the rest of Jason's point. Because after being captured and carted off to Arkham, the villain will escape again, and will kill more people. The only way to truly prevent that from happening would be to kill them; Bruce refuses to do so, and I respect his right to choose such a thing for himself, but it is still a choice, and if we agree that Bruce's inaction during the confrontation would leave him at least partly responsible for the Joker's death, then we must also agree that his inaction in permanently preventing the Rogues from killing more people means he is also, partly, responsible for all of those deaths.
#my dc posting#batman#dc#bruce wayne#jason todd#joker#uhh is this like analysis or meta#anyway. to me this is the message that scene sends#if we say bruce doing nothing would mean he assisted in the murder of joker then bruce doing nothing about the villains means he is also#responsible for those deaths#ANYWAY yes b4 you come at me;;#bruce's belief in rehabilitation and that everyone can get better is central to his character#and i love it and no i dont actually think he should kill the rogues or whatever#but the question there is. Are you fine with the future victims your decisions will cause?#Are their lives worth the slim chance any of these people will get better?#batman says yes theyre worth it. red hood says no theyre not.#thats the fundamental moral difference there#its why jason challenges the batman status quo#which is why he cant be harnessed well after his initial return bc comics can never truly escape that status quo#anyway i sure am having some thoughts for someone not that smart so if you disagree please tell me!!! just be civil or ill just block you <#...anyway this is another thing BTAS succeeds in bc i always feel like yes these villains do deserve yet another chance#despite what theyve done. bruce's belief in them doesnt feel stupid and naive#its abt what you yourself can live with. bruce can live w the deaths of the ppl the criminals he doesnt get rid of kill#and jason can live with killing those criminals and preventing further victims

Wayne Manor (always sentient if I have a say) probably has architectural and old-magic ways of distracting or confusing intruders that aren't supposed to be there. You enter a room, searching for something, and decide to explore further, but it takes you ages to realize you've left and re-entered the same room. Bruce used to vanish completely playing hide and seek, and Martha used to spend confused hours trying to find him, half-convinced she'd already looked everywhere, yet still managing to just barely miss him. Forget finding the Cave, even finding the nearest bathroom is near impossible if you did something the house doesn't like.
It also loves Alfred, so it permanently prevents him from leaving.
#Catwoman tried robbing the place only once before the terror of honestly being stuck prevented her from returning#Alfred tries to keep guests confined to one part of the house#he cites privacy but he actually does headcounts to make sure the same number of people that entered exit (occasionally there's extras)#batman#dc comics#bruce wayne#wayne manor#eldritch gotham

forgive me if this has been answered previously, but what were the circumstances around vasco finding out about machete's death? i'm heartbroken but fascinated to think about what his immediate reaction could have been
They don't live together, Vasco was at home in Florence at the time. Either someone who knew of their relationship managed to alert him of the murder, or he showed up in Rome to visit him just like countless of times before, and one time he was just gone. He would've missed the funeral for sure, and since Machete doesn't have family, his belongings would most likely end up escheated and subsequently liguidated by the church. He certainly wasn't remembed fondly, for the most part it was like he had never been there in the first place.
I don't want to get into the details but of course he was devastated. The threat of death was a constant presence in Machete's later years, he survived at least a couple of assassination attempts and his health kept getting worse. I think he tried to keep Vasco in the dark about how bad things were exactly, but Vasco didn't miss how his fear of death ramped up in intensity towards the end. So it wasn't a complete surprise when he found out they had finally gotten him. For a long time he had hard time not blaming himself for it, thinking whether he could've done something to prevent the outcome, whether his presence would've changed how things played out. Over the years he learned to live with the sudden and violent end of their relationship, but the first few years were extremely rough, the whole ordeal broke him in unprecedented ways and he never fully recovered to his previous state.
#Vasco had never been devoutly religious but after Machete's death he went through some kind of combo of spiritual phase and crisis in faith#because for years Machete had tried very hard to be the best and most godly version of himself#and in return God did very little to alleviate his fears and troubles#and on the other hand Vasco knew that towards the end Machete's morals had eroded significantly#and he had become alarmingly resentful and vicious#and if there was heaven he was worried that the weight of sin his darling was drenched in at the moment of his passing#might prevent them from being reunited there#over the years he went through all the stages of grief in prayer form#and spend a significant sum of money buying indulgences in hopes it might make the difference#answered#tattwege-edgweg#Machete#Vasco#Vaschete lore#but I'm reminding you that I personally like to believe that a good ending alternative is possible for them#one that doesn't end quite as bleakly

You liveblogging season 5 of tmnt 2003 as I'm currently watching season 5 is great
Like YEAH I made the same observations! Season 5 is WILD (and is actually a lot like rottmnt like Leo's whole doubt in himself because of his lack of mystic ability at first? Literally the same subplot)

Dude yeah I’d love to see fancontent addressing their similarities because like?? Hello????
#you’re so right about the Leo subplot too I was thinking the same thing like#!!#let the 03 and Rise boys bond over unlocking godly ancient magic powers together#they even both have preventing the return of a demon Shredder as the main threat?!?#there’s no way Rise didn’t take inspiration from this season

Something I haven't thought about much since the Technical Test but occurs to me now a month later is how I initially assumed Eris was working like vigilante style with the Chronos fight. It seems strange but it was based only on the dialogue between Hecate and Nemesis where she tells Nem that if she doesn't like her job she can do whatever Eris is doing. Which makes me think.
That's such an interesting line from Hecate. Cause when we meet Eris for real in the game, she is doing everything in her power to stop Melinoe. It's the complete opposite of that erroneous impression. Unless, it's not completely wrong.
Eris's whole deal, as is in the mythology, is that she wants to keep conflict ongoing as much as possible. She thrives on strife, and never picks a side but instead baits all involved to fan the flames. She's on everyone's side and at the same time, no one's. That likely carries over to Hades 2.
So what was Eris doing when she was gone from the Crossroads? It's entirely possible she was fighting Chronos forces, if only to cause more strife and prevent him from re-establishing his Golden Age. Cause then the Strife would actually end and a new order is established (which she hates). She only stops cause Melinoe becomes a larger threat to that Strife and decides that she needs to tip the scales in the opposite direction.
Alternatively, she was baiting whatever was attacking Olympus. There's a convo where she mentions that things were finally getting interesting, after all. Which coincides with Melinoe going to the surface to stop the attack there. Granted, this doesn't necessarily negate the earlier theory. The attack could've easily happened as Eris was "helping" the Unseen with Chronos's forces.
Either way, if Eris was "helping" the Unseen at that moment, it sort of makes sense why she's regarded the way she is in the Crossroads. Treated as an annoyance despite actively preventing Melinoe from achieving her goal. Cause much like her keepsake, Eris is a "tool" that can be beneficial with a high risk. If the conflict is tipped against you to the point that your opponent might win, Eris would likely aid you. But if the reverse is true, then she'd be againist. Very risky, not an ally in the true sense, but can be useful in certain circumstances, which a tactician such as Odysseus might consider.
#Eris (Hades)#Hecate#Melinoe#hades 2#hades II#hades II spoilers#yeah there's the whole deal where she left being Hecate's disciple pre-game#but consider: she was at one point was Hecate's disciple in the first place#did she think that would cause more conflict I wonder#and again she didn't have to return even if she opposed the Unseen on an ideological level#if it's just preventing Mel from stopping the fun she could just fight her at the beach and leave it at that#she wants to sow more conflict is what I'm saying#she also wants to bag Mel probably but that's another thing#meta#speculation

[Clark about Joker: "Batman, he's all yours."]
genuinely cannot stress how important this one line is to me in the whole 'superman stopped bruce from killing joker' conversation

Oh my god, anyone realise that for Jiang Cheng to have had the comb to give to Wen Qing after Lotus Pier fell, he must have had it on him on the day which means...he regularly carried it around. This teenage boy who knew full well after the Qishan Indoctrination that the Wen were The Enemy and he wouldn't ever be allowed to be with Wen Qing carried that comb around with him because he presumably couldn't bear to put aside that symbol of his feelings. Remember the day Lotus Pier was sacked started out the same as any other day - even if Jiang Cheng anticipated trouble from the Wen at some point following the fiasco in the Xuanwu Cave, there's no way he could have known that by nightfall he would have lost his home, his parents and his sect and be on the run with his siblings with nothing but the clothes on their backs and whatever they carried with them. And so he carried that comb around next to his heart everyday, just like afterwards he would carry his love for Wen Qing despite her clan massacring his, despite being so traumatised he flinched from her in the supervisory office. He carried that love through the months after the sacking until he offered it to her along with the comb when he found her in that cell. And much later, when she followed him down from the Burial Mounds and returned it to him because she couldn't accept his love and his protection, not when she would have to leave her family behind, the freaking devastation on his face as she gave it back and the way he took it so reluctantly as if it physically pained him because his feelings hadn't ebbed at all...man, that comb encompassed so much. And it was a crying shame that they couldn't be together, that the world wouldn't let them.
#jiang cheng#wen qing#chengqing#the untamed#cql#i cannot take the credit for this galaxy brained realisation#i stumbled across it in a fanfic whose name i can't recall and felt like i had been punched in the gut#just when you thought the chengqing storyline couldn't be any sadder#also about the wq's sect massacring jc's:#of course she wasn't responsible for it#BUT if jiang cheng had been unable to continue feeling for her the way he had because of traumatic associations and#the attendant baggage of her wen heritage that would have been understandable#but no#that boy continued to love her#and the only thing that stopped him protecting her was that his duty to his nearly-crippled sect came first#just as her love and loyalty to her family before herself prevented her from accepting that protection and the love that came with it#and so she returned that comb#damn

The most confusing thing to me is when people bring up Joker having diplomatic immunity after Jason's death as something he would care about and would change his perception of Bruce not avenging him. Buddy Jason ambiguously pushed a man with diplomatic immunity off a balcony to his death like 4 issues ago, he would not give a shit!!
#my dc posting#jason todd#dc#red hood#and thats disregarding the fact that there were still years inbetween jason's deth&return for bruce to finish the job!!#superman didnt actively work to prevent bruce from killing joker except for going ''if u kill him rn there might be a war just wait until h#inevitably does something and you can act''#jason wouldnt give a shit abt all those lil nitpicks and circumstances!!! bc none of that changes the fact#that bruce DIDNT AVENGE HIM.#''I wonder how he’d react when he finds out the joker had diplomatic immunity'' he'd just see it as a pathetic excuse for bruce's failure

"They [the laws of 14 Frimaire] have contributed as much to the making of modern states as the more liberal philosophy for which the Revolution is better known. Modern states exist by the ideas of unity, order, subordination and efficiency, and by the idea of law as the will of a sovereign power. Twentieth century states, democratic or dictatorial, share these ideas; and these are the ideas of 14 Frimaire, proclaimed at a time when the rest of Europe was largely feudal." (Twelve Who Ruled, Robert Palmer)
I've been thoroughly enjoying this book, delighted by the 1960's edition that is beaten up, stained with coffee (or something more fanciful) and copiously underlined and scribbled in margins, by at least two separate hands; and now it is my commute-train-read.
The section about the laws of 14 Frimaire (Dec 4th, 1793) has been a slightly startling reminder that declarations of rights, as well as constitutions, are necessary, but not sufficient for governing a republic, especially a comparatively large one at war on multiple fronts, bristling with different factions and an administrative and a legal hodgepodge of institutions. One does arguably (!) need to create a legal and power structure, and enforce it too in order to make it functional; now whether a given system is acceptable, much less ideal, can be debated and improved and struck down and rewritten entirely.
(Government bureaucracy is made of inspiration and idealism and hard calculations all mixed together...)
#frev#french revolution#twelve who ruled#14 frimaire#lemur muses#lemur has been prevented from waxing poetic about government service to return to the topic at hand#more idealism and less anxiety would be nice these days
