Arcana is so transgender to me in a very specific way of using the feminine figure as a way of both luring and keeping everyone at bay <33333

Your art and character designs are really really amazing and you should keep drawing and writing whatever you want forever!!!!! I really love the body diversity you show and how, while a lot of your characters are pretty muscular they're not shrink-wrapped like how media always shows them but instead beefy and less conventionally beautiful (but still extremely gorgeous, of course.)!! Idk, it means a lot to me to see that sort of representation ^^ you're also amazing at showing diverse facial types which is so nice to see and I'm just such a big fan of your work 🥹🥹🥹 also the way you use colours is STUPIDLY gorgeous!!! every piece of yours is like stepping into a dream........the colours are so vibrant and it seems to glow from within like when you shine light on a layered oil painting, or something O:

thinking about how, before she met gloreth, nimona spent who knows how long wandering the world and trying to find company amongst animals, but always being rejected. we have no idea how long she was at it- she appears to be immortal, she could've been trying to find companionship since the beginning of time for all we know.

I never used to really think about it, and I don’t necessarily hate it with every fibre of my being, but Lupin x Tonks was just so unnecessary. Like, it’s JKR, so obviously Tonks has to fill her ovary-obeying agenda instead of letting the Flonks ship sail proudly, loudly, and without capsizing, but surely there were other means – like, you know – Charlie or something? At least then we wouldn’t have the peculiar age gap, and even if it’s still legal, the way they were paired was still rather coercive* (at least in the books).

people wanting a motive for seul hee's tenacity with the hongs......... beloved peers, i fear the answer is quite simple: that's the dumb rich grandpa she managed to hook and she has already spent more than a decade on this con, her reason is sunk cost and it doesn't matter that it's a fallacy. people often complain about the "met as kids" trope, which i'm not particularly fond of either, but when we get a plot that doesn't revolve around an extended backstory it's suddenly weak? everyone wants a female villain but when she's nasty from beginning to end with no good reason then it's too much?

the second thing bothering me is people being mad that eun seong's death was played as kinda sad and... what the hell? it's sad bc he was a victim that ended up perpetuating the cycles of abuse he suffered, i don't feel like they tried to portrait him as the victim but he certainly was a victim at some point and the fact that he chose to victimize other people to such an extreme instead of dealing with his issues is sad.

p.s.: send some love to park sung hoon who did an awesome job as eun seong and is getting hate for it??? his whole demeanor at the wrap up party when he asked people to hate the character and not him?? it broke my heart 😢

the scene in epel's second birthday vignette where floyd gave him the watch absolutely ruined me btw. like ik not everybody headcanons epel as trans but as someone who does it just put such a fine point on his struggle with being seen as masculine, like a fancy wristwatch wouldnt particularly help him look strong enough to overcome his bullies or whatever its literally just. something a man would own. and he gets so overjoyed. because he consistently has to *prove* that he wants to be masculine despite his appearance; even more sensitive characters like deuce take a while to catch on to the fact, and then here he gets the watch as a gift & gets called handsome without asking for it. even though its a happy scene it fucked me up so bad 😭

Lowkey kind of interested in writing an angsty mobrei fic involving the hanahaki trope... I was thinking of a plot where Reigen has been secretly in love with Mob for years but has been in denial and such deep repression about it that he winds up getting a hanahaki curse. Reigen has been nursing these feelings for far longer than he'd ever admit and he had hoped that Mob going to university in an entirely different city would have curbed the feelings. Reigen knew he was a fool for thinking that, but he was just so desperate for these feelings to go away because he knew they're disgusting and repulsive. As if he would ever be good enough for Mob, as if he deserved someone as wonderful as him... and he would never dare drag Mob down or clip his wings, never again. So, he was perfectly fine letting these feelings burn him alive from the inside out and just act like everything was fine, as it always has been.

But, Reigen ends up attracting a hanahaki curse because of his refusal to acknowledge and accept his feelings for Mob. There is a way to exorcise the curse, but it would end up with Reigen losing all love for Mob, and he outright refuses to do that. Reigen isn't quite sure what to do, but he can't tell anyone that he's cursed because they'd start asking questions, and he can't handle their inevitable disgust... so he just decides to hide it. His health begins to deteriorate, and he just pretends that he has no idea what's happening to him once Tome and Serizawa begin to get worried. Reigen tries his best to hide it and act like the constant exhaustion and pain aren't wearing him down, and he's successful for the most part.

Until he's not able to hide it anymore. Tome and Serizawa are worried sick over him, and Dimple is the one who finds out he's cursed with the hanahaki sickness. He's old enough that he knows exactly what it is, but no amount of prodding will get Reigen to admit just what it is that's driving those flowers deeper and deeper into his lungs. It gets bad enough that Reigen needs someone with him at all times to actually help him and make sure he doesn't choke on all of the petals. Tome, Serizawa, even Ritsu try to make him talk and admit what he's keeping under wraps, but Dimple is the only one who gets close.

Now... what happens when Mob returns from university and immediately takes over Reigen’s care the moment he heard Reigen was so sick-
