#Reincarnated Phoenix Au
Text
It’s unfortunate I don’t have many friends in Ace attorney
However-
My explanation on my Reincarnated Phoenix Au
Phoenix (obviously) dies and is reincarnated into his Feenie era body.
This is basically my excuse for Phoenix to be such a bitch to every and be justified for it.
Also somewhat time travel fix it??
I think Phoenix has tried going to Miles’ trials in the past but is bad at time and keeps getting distracted (Adhd) therefore keeps missing the damn trials.
This time around Phoenix DOES end up getting there in time and wearing a disguise.
By which unfortunately Miles sees through. And he ends up (stalking) Watching Phoenix in any trial he can.
All those sarcastic remarks? Yeah they’re said.
Mia’s death? doesn’t happen.
Phoenix wears a better outfit and wears his scarf like he should’ve.
Oh and Dahlia? Phoenix fucking trashes her in the trial.
Phoenix acts innocent and oblivious while in Feenie era and more then willing to take a bitch down.
This isn’t as connected to the au as more my own headcanon.
However, Phoenix’s Magatama is still with him in the reincarnation au, I think despite whoever puts spiritual power in it, gets bounded to a person the Magatama chooses, Phoenix’s green magatama isn’t a common color we see on other fey members or just other acolytes.
Something I always found that strange despite knowing that it was given to him by a fey member.
Oh and Phoenix’s Scarf now has a little pocket for the magatama, + decorations at the ends so he doesn’t accidentally unravel it.

Tony Stark & Natasha Romanova, now in Star Wars
IDK if you folks were ever MEGA into crossovers but did you ever engage with the kind that can more or less be summarized as "isekai but the person 'hit by truck-kun' is a character from a different canon?"
Because that's what this is.
Tony Stark isekai'd into Star Wars (random planet) after dying in Endgame. He knows the movies, but not the supplemental material, as even by the time TPM came out, he was thirty and fucked up and making a name for himself in war. Bad times.
Tony wakes up sixteen and with Nothing to his name but his skills. He does not speak the language. Mostly gets by doing shit like skinning potatoes for a kitchen and pulling weeds and whatnot while he catches up on Basic. (He is apparently fluent, or at least conversational, in French, Spanish, Italian, Latin, and Dari. So Basic would be his Seventh language, and while four of those can be lumped into 'if you learn one, the next will be easier,' Dari is wildly unrelated, so I'd say he could pick up Basic a bit faster than average, especially with 16yo brain elasticity.)
A toddler, two years old with intensely red hair, runs into his shins one day and yells his name very clearly. He looks down, is a little confused, and then a nearby carer from an orphanage jogs up yelling "Nat!" The toddler is Natasha Romanoff. She remembers everything, including dying, but is about twenty-five pounds soaking wet and NOBODY will take her seriously.
It takes some… effort, to explain the situation to the carer. Yes, Tony knows Nat. He worked with uh…. her 'older brother, a man named Clint.' Tony does not currently have the resources for anyone to legally give him custody of a toddler but he's got some motivation to secure housing and a stable income.
He does that. Gets Natasha with him because of course he has to do that. It's the one person he knows. It's Nat.
Turns out she's Force Sensitive, though. A 'natural extension' of her more skillgrinding abilities to read/manipulate people. Tony is not Force Sensitive but he DID recently have a medical episode that took him to a thankfully-government-funded clinic that informed him he has a Bad Heart and will require a pacemaker despite being seventeen.
A Jedi finds Nat while passing through and they Discuss Their Options. This is when Nat is about four. There is a heavy discussion about how her mind is older than her body, so the Jedi would need to be ready for that, but also Tony needs to discuss this with Nat, who was like thirty-nine(?) when she died and thus more than capable of making her own decisions.
Despite fandom generally painting Tony as the most selfish of the Avengers and Natasha as the most coldly practical, they are still heroes who put in some Fucking Effort to become better people, and they come to the conclusion that Natasha would do much more to help this galaxy as a Jedi than as some kid in poverty on a no-name planet. So off she goes!
She's like five years younger than Obi-Wan, the story reveals.
Tony is a bit aimless and the work he's BEEN doing (probably laying down electrical lines or something at this point, IDK, he got into construction or something) gets sideswept by Damage To A Tool. He knows how to fix the tool, but he does not have a forge.
There is a forge in town. He goes to it and says that he can't afford to ask to have it fixed, but he knows how to do it himself, so could he borrow access for a small fee?
This is a Mandalorian armorer. They say no. In fact, they tell him, that would be significantly more expensive than just getting it fixed.
Buuuuuuuuuut for Reasons, the armorer decides that Tony (now 18-19 physically) can do it so long as the Armorer supervises. Tony is competent Enough that the Armorer gives him a datapad and tells him to read it and come back in a week to discuss the topic. Tony warns that Basic is far from his first language and he doesn't have a whole lot of free time, so he probably won't have read it by then. That's fine, they'll just discuss what he has read.
It's about Mando culture, in a mildly propaganda-y way, and Tony comes back to Argue About Religion more than anything. He thinks the Armorer is proselytizing, which they kind of are, but they are also more than happy to discuss the lines between the Mando culture as ethnicity and culture and religion and so on.
This becomes a regular occurence. Tony has made A Friend who has started offering him a side gig doing Basic Village Blacksmith Work that the Armorer deems too menial, like "horse"shoes.
Tony is offered an apprenticeship that he did not expect, on the condition of Becoming Mandalorian.
This is. A heavy decision.
However. Tony is a guy who is at least partly defined by his cool armor. Mandalorians are defined by their cool armor. He has been told, several times, that there are multiple ways to be a Mandalorian. So he accepts, because he decides it's worth for the chance to be somebody who can make a difference in a way he currently can't.
Ten years later, 'Initiate Romanova' goes up to Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon as they prepare to leave, and neatly informs them that she has a feeling they are going to have a Bad Time on their mission in Mandalore, and that if they need emergency shelter from enemies, to go to an Armorer by the name of Tony Stark, because that's her brother so she knows that he's going to be friendly to Jedi. (Tony has sent her a small handful of messages, through channels both official and not, about big life events.)
Of course, shit hits the fan and the two plus Satine end up finding Tony's forge and he hides them in his Underground Bunker, which actually has a tunnel to a cave system that is safer than the bunker itself. Because reasons. (IN A CAVE. WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS.)
He has helper droids! They are named indirectly after friends from the Past Life, things like Spangles.
On their way back after the mission they swing by to say hi and he asks them to bring something to Natasha and it's a matryoshka doll set he made based on the Avengers (it goes based on age so the outermost is Thor, followed by I think Bruce, Rhodey, Tony, Clint, Natasha, Steve, Sam, Wanda, Vision), as well as a plushie he had custom made by somebody in town of a Bird With Archery Gear, even though she's too old for that stuff.
Even among the Jedi, Natasha is WEIRD and SERIOUS and everyone's pretty damn sure she's going to be a Shadow, or at least do a HECK of a lot of undercover work.
IDK how this plays out but Tony is definitely keeping an eye on politics so he can figure out the Palpatine rise to power and remind Natasha in case she's forgotten because when they first split they didn't, either of them, know what to expect in regards to her memory given the whole Baby Brain issue.
"Why is Tony an Armorer"
Tumblr media
Okay some more thoughts!
I think Tony's aggressively atheist and consistently watching whoever claims to be Mand'alor with a critical eye in case he has to step in, and does not take any references to ka'ra with any real seriousness. That said. He's an Armorer now. A weird one who refuses like half his clients for Ethics Reasons, but technically a cultural authority figure who's allowed to argue with the Mand’alor.
@penpalpixie:
fsr the initial meeting scenario with the armorer bugs me,like would they really just let him" but tbf Tony knows how to steamroll people and could probably dissect the forge in an instant.
Which, yeah, in my defense, I put this together in about two hours so some of it's a bit wonk? BUT. @threebea had a good suggestion for how/why the Armorer had Tony actually do things in the forge instead of telling him to scram:
Maybe Tony has been doing some 'crafting' on the side maybe droid repairs or modifications which is how the Armorer first sort of hears about him and then one day there's the kid that people have been mentioning the Stars aligned here's a pamphlet. He can't make a living off gizmos in his situation since most of what Star wars has is advanced tech and to do anything impressive he would need more resources and more of an understanding of the mathematics of this universe (Stares at ceiling one night trying to figure out if the law of relativity would be a thing here). That might slow him down just like… his math doesn't actually work here so on top of language he would have to learn things to do complicated stuff that he could already buy for a credit. But with armory it's concepts he knows well and adding weapons to armor especially no lethal ones is something he also knows. Mandalorian armor with UNI BEAM
When it comes to canon, he knows THE big thing (Palpatine is Sidious) and basically nothing else. He thinks he remembers the clones being Mando? but he's honestly not even sure he remembers the original Fett's first name correctly. He knows the guy is a Fett, because Boba was a cultural mainstay for Tony's childhood, so like, it was nice to have some backstory, but he's honestly not sure how likely "that baby Mand'alor that went missing" is to being Boba's plot-relevant dad. Could be an uncle for all he knows, or just a guy with the same last name.
@firebirdeternal:
I feel like to keep things fair Tony should be able to scale up a little harder than the average Mandalorian. Yeah all his tech knowledge is a bit out-dated and he isn't likely to get an arc reactor running in a way that'll be more powerful than anything locally available, but I feel like he'd adapt pretty darn quickly to available tech and start Improving Things Nat's skills all translate extremely well, once she's not got stumpy toddler body she's basically back to her old level PLUS telekinesis and wibbly force nonsense although I understand if that's also not the focus of the fic, being less "And now there's some Avengers Here (Powerset)" and more "And now there's some Avengers Here (Attitudes and Characters)"
Nat is very excited to Break Into Tony's Cave.
NGL this was initially going to be a Tony Raises Nat thing but I couldn't ultimately justify her NOT going the Jedi route after I realized I wanted her to be Sensitive.
There was also a discarded plot idea about her being a little older and having gone undercover in death watch, because Tony got kidnapped to work for them and got through to her, where she gets to use her Bites as a teen but I scrapped it.
I do think she successfully argues to her Master to visit him at 14 to get light armor though.
Nat's the sneakiest little initiate and also. Very, very controlled in the scary way during spars.
Bea:
Natasha as a Jedi is so good. Like, she would probably have a bit of dissonance between Jedi training and the training she received as a child, and it might help her work through some things. Nat: I've known Yoda for three days but if anything happened to him I would kil-- wait uh (pivots) I would be very sad. She would try to sneak up on council members. It is like a kitten stalking a cat on the outside, but also she's a grown woman and wants to be that good. (AU of this If Quinlan ever saw this he'd adopt her: Quinlan: Tholme I found a new padawan sister. Get training Tholme: [literally just finished with Quinlan. Had planned to take a vacation. Meditate. Drink. He loves his kid but needs literally a moment here] Tholme: She's seven. Quinlan: I was four. Tholme: … Quinlan: She has a secret tragic background toooo I know you like that 😄 Tholme: [Sigh] Nat: …wait is he supposed to be Sherlock Holmes. I think he's space Sherlock Holmes. Need to ask Tony if Star Wars had Sherlock Holmes? lol yeah Tholme just feels like he could blend well with an avengers story, and a Black Widow story in particular)
Not joking when I say I considered if I could squeeze Tholme into the timeline.
Tony sends her music files that he thinks sounds Particularly Ballet to her because he remembers how much she liked dancing, as the main or even only positive thing from her Red Room training, and how she once said that if she hadn't become a spy, she thinks she'd have liked to be a ballerina.
The first time they see each other in person in years is her visiting for baby armor at 14 and is hesitant to hug him because like. Yeah he's her "brother" and there were a few years where they were acting as such and he was helping her with Basic Tasks that she doesn't like to think about too much because it's embarrassing, and they cuddled THEN, because she was Physically Baby, but they're just coworkers in reality, right? Should she hug him? If only to sell the bit to her Jedi Master?
Tony is also not the most huggy person and isn't sure if HE should hug Nat because he remembers jokey stabbing threats from when they were Avengers and like. Does she still feel that way, now that she's not a bumbling like tot?
They are both unsure of if hugging is on the table and it's the Jedi Master who says "you know, you're allowed to hug, if you want" under the impression that they aren't sure if the Jedi would allow it. And then the hug is very tight and loving because at least subconsciously they DID both want that.
The Jedi Master takes a pic.
Bea:
Jedi master: (aw) It's one of those "we've been in life or death situations together and also grew up together kinda sorta and also we're trauma bonded," and the first opportunity to solidify Family as their dynamic they both jump in feet first. And both of them were like. Extremely lonely children probably. In different ways but still.
(It's why the Hawkeye plushie didn't make her CRY, per se, but she does start keeping it in her bed even though she's Too Old for these things.)
When it comes to hugging, Nat is understandably concerned about overstepping and like. "Taking" Morgan's place. (I'm going with Tony and Nat being friends (or at least friendly) from A1 to A2, and during the blip she stopped by for dinner once in a while. Nat doing her best to bring Child Appropriate Gifts for Morgan (she misses being Aunt Nat for the Barton kids).) Or as Bea put it: Tony: Are you spying on me or are we doing people things? Nat: Can't it be both?
Anyway, their dynamic is a weird little midpoint once they're in Star Wars but then they get to a point in the armor making where Tony takes a break on a bench and she slips in under his arm to cuddle and it's just Nice (even though he's kinda sweaty and gross from the blacksmithing).
Bea:
Tony: ….. so……. is Yoda… does he look like… is he…. Nat: …???? Tony: You saw the Muppets right? Is he still a Muppet? Nat: [totally has seen the Muppets] what's a Muppet? Tony: You're killing your brother, Nat ;A;
Also the comedy of having MULTIPLE "secret languages" that nobody can translate.
It's handy, too. Between her and Tony, but also lots of languages to give different uses to. Can teach one to a specific faction for communication. OH, the poor Threepio units! She got stuck in a room with one once, and don't get my wrong, they can pick up a language fast, but they need to hear long enough sampling of it. Nat: I'm not teaching you stop asking I do agree too that Tony and Nat no matter their circumstances would be working towards stopping Palpatine. Like is this a real space is this a dream is this another dimension that just happens to be like a movie in ours? Doesn't matter the dictator is going down.
The Jedi Master is somewhat aware of the whole 'used to be an adult, sort of' thing. I don't know that they believe she's linearly matured but probably they think it's something like what I did in Jedi Babies It's definitely more explicit with a mind healer she got assigned soon after arrival.
She didn't decide whether to play it straight and "get help" or just try to game the system until she was actually sitting down. But she'd been having screaming night terrors about things she experienced in her first life, so.
Pixie:
She meets Anakin after TPM (if it's not avoided) when Obi-Wan's trying to settle him in and goes "ah, I know how to handle this kid." At some point Anakin and Tony end up sending each other various schematics.

Note
What was Brook's reaction to getting help from the WBP? I assume they also tried helping him get his shadow back. Also, since Absalom would end up working with Teach (in the og timeline), would this be the early start of his mutiny? Lastly, I love your comics, have a good one!
Thank you
I'll have to figure that part out a bit more, and it definitely takes some things away from the original line in the anime. But I won't spoil it yet.
In the meantime, here's a little preview of how the first meeting might go:

ieytd reincarnation au (name under works - do give suggestions) practice fic! not sure if this will be canon or not. also hope it's ok to tag!
my writing is pretty rusty but oh well
link to au context (if it doesn't work please tell me!) but if you want a quick summary, this au is agent phoenix actually reincarnates kind of like doctor who, and each version of agent phoenix is inspired by one of my irl friends and they all have different personalities. but all of them love annoying john juniper
[note: this lil practice fic takes place after ieytd3. zinc, persimmon, mayflower, midnight and crimson phoenix have all returned to their old office after a very eventful evening with the whole Operation: KBOOM thingy. just to be clear, only zinc left for the mission but something something then he came back with the others. fun! additionally, none of the characters are really described because the description is planned to come earlier before the time this fic takes place.]
-
Phoenix's old office used to be littered with dozens of trinkets stolen collected from their missions - champagne taken straight from Doctor Zor's car, small shiny crystals that tinkled when you hit them on Phoenix's desk (they definitely hadn't done that a million times before their handler came specially to their office just to scold them), a few books from Zor's winter cabin (they were unsuccessful in resisting the urge to burn them), and many more things Phoenix would have definitely gotten in trouble for keeping in their office, if their handler hadn't argued their case.
Now, though, the room was eerily bare, save for their now empty desk and bookshelves.
Support Agent Reginald Crane sat at the desk, one hand rhythmically tapping the wooden surface, and stared round at the room.
Why had he come here? He wasn't sure.
(Oh yes he was; he was worried for Phoenix. There was no point in denying it.)
The office door opened without warning, interrupting the silence. Startled, Crane rushed towards it.
If Agent Phoenix isn't standing in the doorway, I will actually break something.
Thankfully for all nearby breakable objects, Zinc was standing there, a slightly sheepish, heady grin on his face. He looked tired, but alive. Oh-so-thankfully alive.
"Hi. Uh. I kinda have something to explain-"
"Agent, my god!" Crane exclaimed. "You don't know how much you scared me, when your feed cut out I thought you'd- you know, pulled a stunt like that peace summit incident again, but this time there was no way I could see you surviving at all, and-"
He was cut off by the sight of someone very familiar walking behind Zinc through the doorway.
"Damn, handler, what have you been doing with my office, it's turned into a fucking IKEA showroom-" Persimmon stopped, turned and waved at a slightly singed fake potted plant. "Oh, long time no see, you stupid plastic abomination. Good to see you're still flammable as ever."
Crane blinked. "...Agent? Is that-"
"Yeah, uh-" Zinc piped up, "I was going to explain that but you-"
Three more familiar faces walked into the office, and Crane did a double take. "What- how the hell did this happen-"
"If you would just let me explain, handler-" Zinc was close to throwing something out the open window.
"If you want, Zinc," Mayflower stage-whispered into his ear, "I can take it from here."
Zinc immediately stepped back and gestured for her to take his place. "Please do that. Please. I have had enough of this shit for one week." He sunk gratefully into the desk chair nearby, looking ready to pass out.
Mayflower smiled at Crane. "It's been a wild three hours, handler. Not just because I had to babysit these four kids during the taxi ride here." She side-eyed Midnight, who was trying to balance a stuffed shark on Crimson's head.
"...Mayflower. It's certainly been a while since I last saw your face." Crane, thankfully, seemed to have calmed down.
She cleared her throat. "From what Zinc told me, || ||||| ||| | |||| || ||| || ||||. ||| |||||||| ||| |||||, || ||| |||| ||| || ||||||||| || || ||||| ||| ||| |||||||| ||||||||| ||||..." [nuh uh spoilers >:) you dont get this]
"I myself am starting to question whether that was a good idea or not. But hey, we're here now, aren't we?"
Perched on the windowsill, Persimmon called out, "Hey! Handler! Do you know where a girl can get food in this place? Even that old agency van I was stuck in for a week had food. It had oranges, handler, oranges. Though, now that I think about it, it didn't have cheese sticks. Remind me to fax the heads of EOD and tell them to stock their agency fridges with more cheese sticks. Oh, and get air fryers. Do we have enough money for air fryers?"
Everyone stared in silence at her.
"What? I like cheese sticks. And you can't eat cheese sticks cold. Hence the air fryers."
In the corner of the room, Crimson was silently nodding, a serious look on their face.
"SEE?? SOMEONE agrees with me."
Zinc - very muffled, with his blahaj smooshed over his face - mumbled, "Kinda hungry now that Persimmon's been going on about cheese sticks. Let's go eat something." He lifted the shark just high enough for his voice to sound clearer, and continued, "then I should probably go to the hospital. I'm pretty sure I've broken at least more than two bones. Oh, shit, wait, I'm caring about my physical health. That's a first."
"As you can see, Zinc, it's working out very well. Do that more often." Mayflower replied encouragingly.
--
criticsm highly encouraged as long as it's respectful!

i need to hear your own drk lore bc i need to slam my custom drk lore in return. i want to hear your bnuuy’s lore. sorry for the aggression xiv brainrot is string
Lmao no need to apologize! I get it, I'm much the same xD
If tis lore you desire, then tis lore you shall get:
SO. Walk with me to the Thirteenth for a moment, during the era of the Contramemoria before the Flood of Darkness. There's a bun there whose name is Einarr Odysseus. He's a memoriate, and he's the shard of Azem who resides in the 13th. Viera (or whatever Viera may have been called in the 13th) having the long lifespans they do, Einarr was alive and fighting from as early as when the first eidolons began appearing all the way until the Flood of Darkness consumes the world. He's not saved from the Flood, his body is warped by Darkness and he turns into a voidsent.
Flash forward to the Fifth Astral Era of the Source when the War of the Magi is raging. Black mages summon voidsent to the Source in order to do their bidding and fighting in the war. The voidsent that was once Einarr is summoned during this time. Bound by the magicks of the mage who summoned him, he answers the call, he fights, he falls. Being in the Source, his soul is drawn into the Lifestream. Within the madness of the Sixth Umbral Calamity, as the shard from whichever world was rejoined merges with the soul of Azem in the Source, Einarr's soul, the shard from the 13th, is drawn in and merges with it as well.
Having been completely corrupted by Darkness, however, leaves a permanent change upon that shard that seeps into the rest of Azem's soul in the Source. When Phoenyx is born, his aetheric balance is naturally tipped towards Darkness. In fact, trying to tip it away from its Dark-aspected nature leaves him unbalanced and unstable.
Now flash forward with me once again to Heavensward. When Phoenyx finds Fray's body and soul crystal and Fray tells him there's a darkness growing in him, he's unknowingly speaking of this very thing. Sure, this is already a part of dark knights, using their own internal "darkness," meaning their negative emotions (or strong positive ones when you get around to post-level 50 and its a strong sense of love and protectiveness that fuels it) to create dark energy woven of their own aether. But for Phoenyx it's rather more literal. His aether is Dark-aspected. So rather than creating this energy, it's closer to the kind of aethetic manipulation that black mages use with elemental forces (which, in part too is why he could harness dark knight so easily, because he already has a background in "dark magic"). He uses his emotions to fuel his ability to manipulate primordial Darkness. The kind of Darkness controlled by the Ascians, the kind of Darkness that Zodiark himself is woven of.
So while Phoenyx is the Warrior of Light, Hydaelyn's chosen, protected by Light, as a dark knight, he actively uses Darkness in weaving the spells associated with the art. He doesn't even realize he's doing this. By the time he understands his Echo ability to sense his own aetheric balance, he assumes its tip towards Darkness is because he's a dark knight, a conclusion Y'shtola comes to as well. But he doesn't realize that its actually the selfsame force that the enemy uses against them. That in being Hydaelyn's "Bringer of Light" while having a soul seeped in Darkness, he is a living manifestation of the balance of the star.
This is also why he's so strong against sin eaters and Lightwardens in the First, why he's able to stay somewhat stable with all that Light inside him until the fourth Warden. But it's also the reason he's so fucking terrified of turning into a Lightwarden. Because even if you put aside the implications of what that dooms the world and his loved ones to, there's just this deep seated memory of Einarr's that's etched into his soul. The memory of being corrupted by Darkness and turning into a voidsent. The powerlessness and agony that came with it. He's scared because he remembers what it feels like and never wants to go through that again. But Phoenyx doesn't consciously realize this, it's a trauma burned into his soul.
This,,,,,,,,,,,,, ended up being way longer than I intended but please share yours also!!!! I wanna hear your lore!

Atsushi gets kidnapped by Aku differently
He TP's to Aku when they are both off of work because he believes he won't come after him then
(The Kyoka bait didn't work bc he tped away and put a barrier on Kyouka to block the tracker)
Lucy's familiar Soul gives Atsushi a strong motive for the Guild arc
That kid willing gets himself kidnapped
Though, Lucy uses a magic blocking barrier to drive him to bordem
Zane/Aku are the Dark/Light magic one, basically the same one I used for Rogue's Devil Persona
(Unposted until all arcana are filled)
So hevilly religious and mage based
The parallels with Fyodor are uncanny
Atsushi sometimes talks to a random light source when he needs advice
Reference to one of KP's OCs that used Light magic
Atsushi always had his memories, but his amniesa balances it out
In the PL world the Language is based on the MC enchanting table, basically that worlds English
I like the idea of Laurence's once yelling at Dazai to pay his tab in it
Atsushi will have his Juice with a sippy straw
The Bar is OC based and not from BSD
Atsushi's yellow highlight/tiger eyes are pink
Akutagawa has freckles and sky blue eyes

he shows it to Akutagawa during the Ship Fight while in agonizing pain from Aku using his scar/weak point
Atsushi's Aura would be Blue with Orange specks
Atsushi will eventually unlock his wings, from an extremely hard fight alongside Akutagawa
Outfit upgrades for each Season
1,2,Movie,3,4
After season 1, Akutagawa will start unconsciously wearing face masks
Atsushi believes that he will only be hunted by Akutagawa when they are on the job, that is what got him kidnapped
To Kunikida's dismay and Dazai's pleasure, Atsushi still often forgets stuff
During the Movie Dead Apple, Atsushi's Amnesia will go with his Ability
Because of All Men are Equal, Fukuzawa can feel a multitude of Souls/Abilities within Atsushi's 'The Rise of Phoenix Drop'
Atsushi's merged Ability is 'The Moonlit Beast'
When he becomes one with them in Dead Apple
Atsushi is given a hoodie by Junichiro after constantly stealing his
Akutagawa first summons Zane's bladed staff during the Fitzgerald fight
-
Akutagawa has a scar on his neck because he was executed
Zane went ballistic when Clawien fell in the War, he was mistaken for the original Zane and executed
-
Atsushi is often used as a shield against mental Abilities
He wears his tie backwards and is often pulled back by it
He guessed Dazai's past job after multiple tries
Atsushi and Akutagawa both can't swim and will grab onto the nearest object or person to them
Atsushi often curls up to get comfy or feel safe
-
Atsushi has a big butterfly shaped scare covering his back
His back is really sensitive
He was shot out of the sky and stabbed in his wing blades
-
Atsushi has empathy and can sense people's Souls
He had trouble learning Kanji

I sometimes somewhat contemplating a reincarnate OC in Phoenix Wright verse. Not necessarily to do anything interesting, so much as to explore the thought that ghosts exist in this verse, and can be called by spiritual mediums to testify in court.
So ghosts exist. And where otherwise you would keep quiet about being a reincarnated human, here someone notices. Actually first it's your parents who notice, and who go to specialists, trying to see how they can best accommodate their kid with whatever makes them different from other children. You go to all these specialists vaguely baffled about why they care so much when your original parents would never have noticed. Someone tells them "oh a reincarnated soul with memories" and you ask "Isn't that a sign of being crazy?" "Its unusual to remember, but its not crazy". And you end up getting therapy for the issues you had in your past life, and dying, because it turns out that's not easy to brush off.
E- That's a very interesting idea!! WOULD BE VERY INTO THAT
I did find a oc insert Phoenix Wright fanfic the other day. Very rare.
I do like how they insisted the oc get therapy for it, very rare!! Past issues are never brought up in reincarnated fic, if so glazed over!
K-Slightly odd, as OC witness testifying could be easily done. Just the witness's POV as the lawyers go wild in court.
OC now has Caring parents and has no Idea what to do with them.
E-"You guys are giving me positive attention and i don't know how to deal with that."
Shit that be amazing to see the lawyers go crazy over this
One is not simply cured in 4 sessions. It takes time.
K-I think there would be lingering issues of OC's past death, unless they forget that in their rebirth
E-Death can be something they remember or plot twist.
There's murderer is in that world too.
K-Hey, would you have a minor character in the Occult club who is a reincarnite. Who tells the club that, and talks about their past life, but its just a background event for Ayano, and some of the audience who might pick up clues from the story they tell.
Sort of a would be hero of another story, who wont be in this one.
---
Will she be able to forget? Forget the hands on her body, pushing her forward, into open, empty air. The sound of the wind rushing faster, as she plummets towards the ground. The feeling of the force of the ground as it moves through her body? The increasing sense that this has happened before and will again?
It never happened here, but she turns around, checking that no one is up here with her. She doesn't like the feeling of hands on her back anymore, she imagines it too often and easily for it to bring comfort as it once did.
It has happened in other ways, in other times, but the first time is always memorable.
She takes a deep breath, trying to find the peace she once taken from the sky.
But the blue sky is cold and empty.

okay this popped into my head and demanded to be heard:
modern magic au moshang. shang qinghua is a witch, and in this au witches generally try to summon a familiar in their 20s. these familiars can be any magical creature, from a normal animal with magic abilities to a phoenix to, yes, a demon, whether that demon is more like an animal or more like a person. familiars, however, can deny the binding, since it’s more like an offer than a demand.
shang qinghua manages to summon mobei jun, somehow. he freaks the fuck out because what!! how did he manage to summon a very infamous demon king??? what????
and even more baffling, mobei jun doesn’t decline the binding!! who knows why?? (possibly reincarnation au? mbj knows who sqh is but not the other way around? idk working it out) and instead he just takes over sqh’s apartment. sqh is stressed ™️, as he often is. he goes onto witch forums for advice and everyone else is also baffled except for shen yuan, whose like lmao same thing happened to me” and sqh is just ????
they bond over inexplicably having demon lord familiars while sqh tries to figure out what the hell is going on
yes i do plan on writing this. very soon. i may or may not be putting everything to the side (except my dragon!mbj fic) in order to work on this one instead.

Me? Creating another Lqg centric au? More likely than you think
In which, Phoenix!Lqg captures the attention of the demon lord Luo Binghe who captures him in an array that makes him mortal (rendering his body a cage) Second sketch is just vibes, not actual size diff
There’s so much of this au in my brain and I wrote some drabbles for it too oTL just,,, Bird in a cage Lqg
I might clean up the Drabble just to post on its own but ough
Binghe takes Lqg’s flight feathers and makes them into a folding fan, which steals away Lqg’s ability to Reincarnate and his fire magic. Hes turned into a trophy essentially for Binghe to parade about and keep at his side during court. And Lqg resents it and lashes out a lot.
There’s just a lot of themes of loneliness (typical bingge sads) (Lqg being isolated from the world because he can’t fly anymore) and they do end up being intimate and Lqg finds out that Binghe’s demonic qi burns inside him almost like his fire magic did…

Having very serious thoughts about the Aphmau multiverse rn.
Also hey! If ur interested in reading abt this scene I drew from my MCD rewrite, that’s below the cut ! :>
Small TW: child abuse (not graphically depicted, just mentioned), religious trauma, fire, injuries
This is a scene from my MCD rewrite I’ve been working on. Basically in my rewrite Aphmau is a bastard child between a Lords wife and millers husband. The lords wife carried out the pregnancy in secret and in shame, and when she was born abandoned her on the steps of a convent where she was taken in and raised by nuns. Aphmau in my au has retained some memories and feelings from being reincarnated thousands of times over as Irene. She talked about this but because reincarnation is blasphemous she is mistreated and misunderstood by the other children and the nuns. She feels connected to Irene, but disagrees with the church itself. After years of mistreatment, she finally escapes the convent at about 20-21.
Zane is the first person she ever sees outside of her convent. After escaping to a nearby town, she finds it nearly leveled by flames, in the wreckage is Zane searching for an Apostate he’d leveled the town looking for. Immediately he recognizes her as a descendant of Irene (not yet realizing not only that but literally shares a soul with Irene) and attempts to return her to her convent, and essentially force her to be a nun. She’s badly injured, and has just picked up a weapon for the first time, so she’s pretty defenseless. But at the last minute before he can return her she has a surge of magic leaving her with strange black marks, running off into the woods.
Then from there she ends up at the steps of the guard tower in Phoenix Drop, badly injured, severely traumatized, and in a horrible state of shock. That’s where Garroth takes her in, and gets her back to health. I could rant a little bit more, but that’s all that I wanted to say. Anyways I was feeling insipired so I made this. Though if you’re interested hearing more about my Aphmau rewrite, feel free to drop anything in my ask box. Or if u have any suggestions! Always working on stuff like that.

Mystreet AU where all of the Phoenix Drop High staff are the divine warriors. MCD!Aphmau is a reincarnation of the last Irene, and she restarted the world when the final battle against Shad was going poorly, and Mystreet was created instead, with MCD!Aphmau being reincarnated into Mystreet!Aphmau. The other Divine Warriors (including the first Irene), were recycled into this school with no powers and new lives, completely powerless to the universal change that Aphmau has made. So now they’re forced to adapt to this new world and blend in, whether they like it or not, effectively trapped in this school until they can figure out what the hell happened, and somehow undo it. They all have retained most or all of their memories from their previous life. This makes staff meetings incredibly awkward
Shad is the principal, he runs this school very begrudgingly. He hates his job, but hey, he was able to lead an army in Hell! How much harder can leading highschoolers be?
Irene is the school counselor. The only one. She still has no emotions. This makes her not very successful at her job, but hey, she tries. The students are theorizing that she and the principal are divorced, or exes in some way or another, because of the incredibly grudge-filled looks they keep giving each other. They are forced to work in vague proximity with one another, and no one is enjoying it. They have to maintain workplace diplomacy and after learning what kind of world Shad is trapped in now, he realizes that he can’t actually kill her unless he wants to be arrested and thrown in jail forever. Which would suck ass, because he’s pretty certain the source of their new predicament is somewhere in this school alongside them, and if he wants any luck at getting out, he’s going to have to play along.
Irene and Shad are at least able to remain thinly diplomatic with one another. Shad and Esmund, however—never in a million years will they be civil with one another. They have gotten in very confusing shouting matches in front of the kids before. And yet Esmund never gets fired, (…i don’t think Shad has figured out that he can do that yet…) so the kids start to spread rumors that Esmund is hooking up with or used to be hooking up with the principal. Esmund and Shad find out, and all of the students get in ungodly amounts of trouble for this.
Enki tried to reconnect with his old friend Shad at some point. It didn’t go well. He left his office as quickly as he came in at the first sight of his glare.
It becomes surprisingly easy (and very existential crisis-inducing) to finally be able to tell Aphmau and Irene apart when they’re two entirely separate people standing in the same room. Shad realizes that this Aphmau is probably what caused this, but problem 1. She doesn’t remember a damn thing and is therefore extremely unhelpful, and problem 2. That’s A Child. That’s A Literal Actual Child. That’s some 13yo baby that is entirely innocent and bright-eyed and oblivious to anything and everything that went down in her past lives. And in my mind, Shad has a soft spot for children. Like, a HUGE soft spot, because he used to be a father and his daughter meant the world to him. He’d do anything to get her back and protect her from all the horrors that he could not save her from. Thats his entire villain motivation. Thats the entire reason why he hates Irene and becomes The Shadow Lord and raises an army and pillages the world and everything else. The Shad in my head would be physically incapable of hurting a child.
So I can see Shad calling Aphmau into his office very early in the first semester, ready to confront her and duel all over again…only to realize that, no, this is an separate, innocent child who remembers nothing and might even be an entirely different reincarnation of who she was before. Her memories might even be wiped, completely inaccessible and gone forever. He has an existential crisis, awkwardly apologizes and plays it off as some sort of joke, asks if she needs anything (putting back on his “I’m a normal human being” mask). She says she needs directions to her classes, so he scrounges up a random map and hands it to her and sends her off. He re-evaluates everything he’s known for the past 900 years.
Shad becoming strangely protective of 13yo Aphmau,,, this is just some kid,, he’s forced to re-evaluate everything and adjusts how he sees his students. From “oh good a new army I’m gonna have to mold from scratch /sarc” to “i…i have gone from zero children…to thousands…. thousands of children put under my care…i need to protect all of them at once” man goes mega mother hen mode, especially since his dangerous traitorous ex-wife is in the same building as them, he definitely sees her and the other divine warriors as threats to his kids.
Irene bringing Aphmau into her office as well, but she approaches things very differently from Shad. She cuts straight to the chase, and tells Aphmau she needs to remember. She’s done something terrible, and needs to reverse it and put the world back in order. She needs to remember her old life and become the newest Irene, take on all the power and the responsibility that being a Goddess entails, and set everything right. 13yo Aphmau freaks out, confused and lost. Irene lays the pressure on hard, and keeps pushing when Aphmau insists that she doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Shad opens the door, sensing she was here with her, and looks like he’s doing everything in his power to hold himself back from punching her square in the face. They have a very terse, carefully worded micro-argument, and Shad insists Aphmau must return to her classes, her education is more important than anything Irene has to stay to her. He gets very protective of her and basically professional-business-talk tells her to fuck right off and never speak to her again. Aphmau is still confused. He ushers her out, and awkwardly asks if she’s alright. She says…i…think…so???? What just happened??? Shad tells her to be careful around that woman, and don’t believe a word she says. She’s full of lies, anyway. Aphmau’s like. you mean the school counselor???????? It’s a very strange day for Aphmau.
insert the kids joking about how Garroth/travis/aaron/Aphmau must be related to certain members of the staff here

My fave spones fics
It's spones day!, so I decided to finally publish this extremely subjective short list I wrote years ago (hence no new fics). If a link doesn't work, put it through a wayback machine.
---
TOS McCoy/Spock romance, friendship, anything in between
A Man of Integrity by Jane Carnall. M. 18k. A mirror ‘verse story. Spock didn’t mind meld with McCoy, but kept him for long enough that the rest left without him. Will McCoy get back home? Written in 1989. (ao3)
Blue Under the Colourless Sky by vail-kagami (LJ). T. 4k. This. was. so. good. And melancholic. And bittersweet. And saying more would spoil it. (death is discussed)
Catharsis by babel. E. 40k+ still WIP. This is all I ever wanted from a McCoy/Spock fic. Follows season 1 of TOS. What if Spock and McCoy had an arrangement.
Coming Through in Waves by Cirth. T. 6k. “Spock dislikes doctors.” This was just lovely. A great character study from Spock’s POV. Includes room sharing and bathroom sharing.
Deepening of the Spirit by lynndyre. G. 1k. A short fic set after the last film. Sweet and warm, finally getting together after all those years.
Distances series by berlynn_wohl. G-E. 54k. The first story is pre-slash and can be read as a standalone mission fic. A nice series spanning years. Written in 2007.
Down The Long Corridors Of Air by Thistlerose. T. 7k. This is another fic that demonstrates quite well what I like in the pairing. “A circle has no end. Spock and McCoy over the years.” Spoilers up to ST VII. Written in 2009.
Further Study Needed by J. Rosemary Moss. G. 2k. Cute pre-canon fic. McCoy tries to teach Spock how to flirt. Pre-slash. Written in 2008.
My Little Town by Phoenix. M. 8k. Post-movies. McCoy’s mother dies, and McCoy goes back to Earth to sell the old house. Spock accompanies him. A bit sad, melancholic story where the two of them finally stop avoiding what’s between them.
something bright, traveling fast by lupinely. G. 7k. “After fal-tor-pan, Spock considers existence.“ Movie-era, really lovely.
Spock of Baker Street by K. V. Wylie. M. 18k. Crossover with Doctor Who. The Guardian of Forever “kidnaps” Spock and McCoy, and throws them into late 19th century Britain. They meet a guy named Arthur, and live at Baker Street. And investigate a murder. Established relationship.
Teshuvah by K. V. Wylie. PG. 20k. A reincarnation AU - i.e. McCoy gets to relive his life again.
The Secrets of Pine Cones by K. V. Wylie. PG. 9k. Movie-era. Married Mc/S. McCoy is observing Ramadan, and this year, after many years spend together, Spock stays at home and keeps him company for the first time. A very lovely fic, written from Spock’s POV.
Through A Glass, Darkly by Jane Carnall. M. 67k. mirror ‘verse. pon farr. mind bond. Written in 1988. (on ao3: prime spones part and the mirror spones 3-parter)
AOS McCoy/Spock
This Must Be The Place by therev. M. 38k. Spock learns that Spock Prime and his Leonard McCoy were in a relationship, and... This was one of the first mc/s fics I read, and it’s still among my favourites. It also showed me that aos!mccoy/spock could work. The mood is a bit melancholic (and perhaps a bit slice-of-life-ish), it’s set post-Beyond, and it has Joanna.
---
also older spones fics recs (i.e. written before the reboot)

So from what you have said about your Phoenix Kai au. Zane. Cole. Pixal. Jay. Nya And Lloyd are reincarnations of Kai's family back before he became a Phoenix.
So how did Kai react to seeing them again?
Did he raise Nya after Ray and Maya was taken by Krux like in Canon?
How did he react to Zane and Pixal being nindroids as I don't think he'd be expecting that.
How'd he react to them having Elemental Powers and Lloyd being the legendary Green Ninja?
And in general how powerful is Kai compared to the other Ninja?
And in terms of the Fsm and the Overlord and Lloyd and Wu and Garmadon?
Sorry if I was stupid and got this wrong :)
But thanks for answering!
Ok so All I can say is
At that time when [almost] everyone is born again. Kai wasn't there. Some circumstances prevented Kai from going anywhere
well because I'm still not sure what i want to change plot-- maybe Wu was the one who adopted Nya ?? Nya meets Lloyd and adopts him?? It was too interesting for me to choose lol
About the nindroids, of course Kai is very confused, he's old, he doesn't understand technology--- He will act like they are human because he forgets. He'll accidentally say watch your blood flow and then think, oh yeah, they don't have any blood Watch out for oil or anything else flowing They will smell you Or when he saw them open their stomachs or faces. Kai is often shocked and says, I forgot you can do that. He has a hard time believing that Nindroids are real, but he'll get there eventually
The first time Kai learned of his family's Elemental Powers and Lloyd being the legendary Green Ninja, he plunged his head into the lava and shouted
He's definitely angry that FSM never told him //they hint a lot but well // but He knew than anyone that they couldn't change anything and of course he was afraid. He knew how difficult it was for elemental master to live life , not to mention green ninja
Kai's power becomes more powerful with time. His power is much less than that of FSM and not as much as Wu and Garmadon. The point that makes him much more powerful than them is that he has more life experience
and about Lloyd I think at first he will beat Lloyd but when Lloyd grows and becomes more and more powerful. Lloyd will definitely defeat Kai //and Kai will be very proud of his kid
I love to answer Even though I still can't figure out the story <3
