I’m that brand of autism that NEEDS control in group projects bc I know that no one else is going to put in as much effort as I do, so if I do all the work then I can guarantee it’s gonna get done right, but also at the same time I HATE being in control of group projects because it means that all the neurotypicals hate me and think I’m rude and bossy, when in reality I just don’t know how else to handle group projects since people aren’t reliable

i think at the end of group projects you should have the option to kill anyone in your group who made your life actively worse. this would increase murder rates by five thousand percent but it would also increase me being happy rates by ten million percent

I've been put in this group project with a guy in my bio lab to make a poster in a week, only we did not exchange contact info for the project, and he promised to do the whole poster if I did the cover letter about the poster

Which is fantastic, less work for me, poster looks great, he said he'd do all the work, and I get to do the easy write up part, only he feels the need to keep updating me on the progress he's making

And he HAS my email, he shared the poster with me through my email, even though he doesn't have my number or social media, he could email me like a normal person, and instead he's taken to creating an extra page on the canva document and just typing in an extra text box to communicate with me 💀

What I imagine some characters will be like in group projects:

Agent Phoenix: Messes around in the group chat but passes their part of the project on time.

Reginald: Talks to you a lot in order to know what is going on. Often asks for updates but sometimes messes up. He's trying though.

Roxana: Does her part but still has a few stuff you may need to correct. Might also argue with you if you decide to overhaul too much of her work.

John Juniper: Might be a decent group mate but if he hates you, you would be doing his share of the work.

Dr. Zor: Not really sure about them. They could ghost you but will step in while insulting you. That or find a way to take themselves away from your group.

i actually hate group projects so much you people do not understand 😭 i have to make a poster of a court case in government but i got put with these two idiot boys who couldn’t give another shit about the project and who i really couldn’t be bothered to interact with

i got through the note-taking part without talking to them at all (they just yapped about whatever the whole time) but idk what i’m going to do on wednesday when we actually have to make the poster 💀💀
