Confession Time will hopefully be posted tonight or tomorrow. It's my last Thirty Kisses in Thirty Days prompt and it was a request for Thomas Hunt x OC with the prompt: kissing the friend you've been longing for.

A few Random Gifs that I save when they spark an idea for a drabble or series:

Mixed Signals is my first official, Open Heart series. I did a crack ship series a year or so ago of Ethan and TRR's Olivia. This time, no other Choices characters will intrude 😂 It begins shortly after the attack with my MC, Chris. In this AU, she isn't with Tobias and doesn't really know him that well. She'll end up trying to figure out who's the best for her: Ethan who won't fully commit, Bryce who won't really tell her how he feels about her, or Tobias who on the surface seems to be content with being friends with her.

First Impression: I was given this request for Thomas Hunt and my OC a while back 😬 They will be together and reminiscing about what their first impressions were of each other.

The Queen's Choice: I wrote a drabble a while back where Liam abdicated to be with the MC. Since Olivia is next in line to the throne, she is now Queen. But like Liam, she must get married. I was asked by @twinkleallnight to write this, and I realized it would need more than just a drabble or two to give justice to Olivia's story.

Pieces of Us might be my biggest crossover idea yet, LOL. I have it set in the early 1930's. War has happened between Cordonia and Auvernal. It will have characters from TRR, Perfect Match, Red Carpet Diaries, Crimes of Passion, and Open Heart. I want it to have so many story elements: drama, romance, humor, angst, mystery, ect 🤣 I'm not sure if it will ever fully come about, but I have so many scenarios in my mind for it along with numerous notes and such.

None But You is my RCD Regency AU series. This will be the second half of the completed series. There were a few more storylines I meant to explore in it, but my health had taken a rough turn during it and I finished it earlier than intended. The next few parts I have planned focus on the characters helping Chris Winters and Matt Rodriguez find their true loves. Now that Thomas Hunt and Ryan Summers have their ladies, it is only fitting that they see their friends also shackled in holy matrimony 😂

I also have to add that "Red Carpet Diaries" and the entire "High School Story" franchise are seemingly connected due to Tom referencing Victoria Fontaine in 'ILB'. (This might change due to the gender of the ILB MC, but I've not played as a Male MC, so I can not confirm this theory.)

Meanwhile, HSS and RCD are connected due to Josh Morello making a visual cameo appearance. Also, in one book, I can't remember which one, a character ask the MC if they would rather kiss and/or date Victoria Fontaine or Matt Rodriguez.

(There is also a magazine in HSS that shares the same sprite as a magazine in RCD and mentions Chadley Fortnum, Chris Winters, and Pippa Majors. However, this is just a prop sprite, and Pixelberry is known for reusing sprites for different books.)

Okay but so far, "The Elementalists" series, the "Queen B" series, the "America's Most Eligible" series, the "It Lives" series, and "The Royal Romance" series all take place within the same world (and I'm pretty sure almost all of the visual novels in choices take place in the same world but so far these are the ones where there are visible cameos and connections) and that makes it so funny to me because like

Over here a student has started attending magical college and is learning about themself and their past, over here a girl is taking her first steps into developing the personality of, in her own words, "a budding serial killer" after being exposed to the politics of elite college life, over here another person is taking part in the world's messiest reality tv show, and over there a group of high schoolers and college kids are fighting for their lives against eldritch monstrosities they barely even understand and, if you're not careful, are dying in absolutely horrific ways, and over here a random civilian is getting coached on marrying into royalty

Waiting was a part of life. Of course she knew that. However this was different. She was awaiting Chris to return home with food for her and the baby. The young actress had been pleasantly surprised to find out she was pregnant and she was over the moon. She really was. It had definitely shocked her but in the best way.

She was stood by the do, waiting for Chris to come back home, the baby was as hungry as his or her mother. The baby kicked her furiously and she huffed. “Mummy cant make Daddy hurry up, sweet baby” she put her hand on her growing bump, how hard was it to grab chicken chips and some nacho bites from McDonalds. She walked to the living room where she plopped on the sofa. She groaned as her stomach grumbled and the baby kicked her relentlessly.

“I’m home” His voice came through the house and the mother to be threw herself back onto her feet, she walked through to where her husband had a bag of food that smelt greasy and so good.

“Your baby has been beating me to the point I think he or she is actually irritated” Charity spoke and her husband tried not to crack a smile, oh she was so dramatic at times.

“I got you some donuts too and some of that pastry stuff you like and have been craving none stop” Chris said presenting another problem paper bag. Charity just picked out her McDonalds, she didn’t want anything but that right now.

“You realise the only food I’m craving right now is McDonalds” She said, opening up the chicken selects and she grabbed one, taking a large bite before she moaned in pleasure, it tasted so good.

“I know” Chris reassured his wife with a chuckle.

“I think when the baby is born we need to restrict his or her McDonalds intake to once every two weeks maybe” Charity responded, and Chris chuckled.

“I think its mummy who wants the McDonalds not baby” He chuckles and watches his wife enjoy her McDonalds

Synopsis: Alex runs into Thomas at a Caffe before their set call time while filming The Last Duchess in Cordonia.

"Did we miss it?" Addison questioned, looking back down the quiet Cordonian street.

"I don't think so," Chris answered with a shrug, continuing forward. "I know Hunt said it'd be easy to miss, but between the three of us, I gotta hope one of us would have noticed."

"We definitely didn't miss it," Alex decided. "I would have noticed. I mean, it's me, and it's coffee!"

We could have just gotten coffee at the cafe by our hotel. It would've been faster, and we don't have a lot of time before we need to be back on set," Addison fretted. "Plus, I'm starting to think we're on a wild goose chase."

"No, it's here," Alex pressed on down the cobblestone street. "Thomas said it's the best cafe in Cordonia. I will not be missing out on the best!"

"There!" Chris exclaimed, spotting the little shop.

It was a small venue marked by a red door and a simple wooden sign with the word, Caffe.

"This is it?" Addison's brow pulled in as her lip twisted. "It's not much. Definitely not what I expected from Hunt."

"Looks can be deceiving," Alex decided, pulling the door open. "Besides, I'm only here for the coffee. It could be a shack in the woods with chainsaws hanging from the ceiling, but if it had the best coffee, I'd still go in."

"You worry me sometimes." Addison patted her back, following her into the cafe.

Alex inhaled deeply, letting the tantalizing scent of freshly roasted coffee beans mix with the sweet, buttery aroma of the decadent baked goods on display. "If this isn't what heaven smells like—"

Heading straight for the counter, Alex wasted no time ordering the house special and a chocolate scone.

The three chattered away as they awaited their orders at the counter, Alex's eyes never leaving the barista's careful movements and the brewing espresso falling artfully into her cup. She licked her lips, eager for the first sip.

"I guess he really does leave set every once and a while." Addison nudged her.

"Hmm?" Alex followed her gaze, finding Thomas tucked in a dark corner, his nose in his work, deep in thought. "Oh!"

"Here you are ma'am," the barista offered, handing Alex her order.

"Thanks." Without a second thought, she took her coffee and headed in his direction before she had a moment to question herself.

"Should we?" Chris questioned, turning to follow.

Addison rested her hand on his arm, stopping him. Her head shook softly to the sides, deterring him further. "Don't."

His brow furrowed in confusion before giving way to an understanding smile as he continued watching the pair.

"Hey," Alex greeted cheerfully, stepping into his light.

"If you please," he signed deeply and reluctantly looked away from his works. His stiff and stoic demeanor lightened as his eyes found hers. "It's you."

"Sorry." She tucked a strand of loose hair behind her ear. "I didn't mean to interrupt."

His gaze shifted to the work he wanted to finish. "Not at all." He pushed the papers to the side. He stood, gesturing to the other seat at the table. "Please."

As Alex neared the seat, Thomas pulled it out for her.

"Oh—Thank you!" Her cheeks warmed. She wasn't sure when the last time anyone had pulled out a seat for her, and at a little cafe, no less. "We—uh—we took your suggestion." She lifted her coffee cup.

"Is it satisfactory?" He steepled his fingers beneath his chin.

With the added distraction of his presence, she realized she had yet to even try it. She brought the cup to her lips, letting the warm liquid linger on her tongue. Her eyes closed, and her lips turned up as she hummed her approval of the perfect bittersweet blend of the nutty roast and hints of cinnamon and cocoa. "It's amazing," she marveled, quickly taking another sip.

"I'm delighted you're enjoying it." He let his hand linger on the table between them as he watched her savor the beverage. "Perhaps we might utilize less coffee on set today?"

"Oh, this? No. This is just to get me to set." She chewed the corner of her lip. "This will not hinder the amount of coffee I will need to consume during the rest of the day."

"Is that so?"

"You know what they say; good ideas start with brainstorming. Great ideas start with coffee!" She winked playfully, cringing momentarily after realizing what she had done.

His brow rose challengingly. "And who may I ask is supposed to have made such a declaration?"

"You know, they. The all-important "they" that says stuff."

"Have you considered the possibility that you may have an addiction to coffee?"

She considered his words, taking another sip. "Have you considered that it is coffee that is addicted to me?"

"That is implausible," he countered matter-of-factly.

A shy smile drew across her face at his steady gaze. He made her forget the Royal city around them, her friends waiting nearby, and the work waiting for her. It was just them. "Hmm," she continued pondering the thought. "Would you accept that coffee and I are in a committed relationship?"

He stifled the chuckle growing at her words. "Shall I alert the tabloids?"

She couldn't help but laugh. "Did the great Thomas Hunt make a joke? I wasn't aware that was allowed." She raised her cup. "We should mark this momentous occasion, cheers."

He lifted his mug to hers as they shared a smile, the moment seeming to stop as the pair paused in the presence of the other.

"Is he—is Hunt smiling?" Addison clapped her hands over her mouth, her voice having risen louder than she meant.

"It appears so," Chris agreed. "Did you know he could do that?"

"It appears to be a selective but increasing gesture he's capable of."

"Good for him," He nodded his approval.

"Like he's going to do anything about it." Addison sighed in resignation.

His phone illuminated as a new text came in. "Good things take time." A smile spread on his face as a photo of his wife and daughter appeared on his lock screen. "And I have a feeling that could be a very good thing."

"For both of them." Addison's gaze caught the time on his phone. "Is that the time?"

"Unfortunately."

"Alex," Addison called reluctantly, breaking the spell that seemed to have settled over the pair.

The joy on her face fell as she turned back to her friends.

"We need to do a final fitting for today's shoot." Addison mouthed, "sorry!"

Alex nodded but didn't move. She held her finger up to her friends, her focus returning to Thomas. "I have to go."

"It appears so." He nodded his agreement.

"It's just—" She chewed her lip, averting her gaze and looking down at her coffee for a moment. She picked at the cardboard cozy surrounding it. "I have this director who insists on punctuality and, he gets rather grumpy when I'm late."

"Which I suspect is often," he teased with a raise of his brow.

Alex reached across the table, resting her hand on his. "I'll see you in a bit?"

His hand twitched as he fought the urge to pull it back, but the warmth of her touch kept him there. "I look forward to it."

She let her fingers linger on him a moment longer. "Bye... for now."

She glanced back to him as she walked away, raising her hand and offering a slight wave.

The skin in the corner of his eyes wrinkled as his gaze followed her. Despite her absence, he could still feel her warmth. He shook the thought away. How many times would he need to remind himself that he couldn't pursue her? After what happened with her last film, he had to protect her, even if from himself. He sipped his coffee, pulling his papers back out. Perhaps love and coffee taste the same—both bittersweet.

Addison linked her arm with Alex's, immediately pulling her in. "Were you flirting with Hunt?!"

"No!" Her face flushed as she stole one last look back as they departed the cafe.

"I didn't know he could flirt anymore," Addison taunted. "I guess that makes you special."

"I was just being polite," she lied. "Anyone would have done the same."

"And yet, neither Chris nor I ran over to him."

"I didn't run!" She protested.

"Forgive me. I should have said skipped gleefully or floated like a cartoon character." Addison handed her the bag with her scone. "I guess all those little hearts in your eyes made you forget this."

"Shut up!" Alex's eyes widened as she glanced over at Chris.

"He's a good one," he reassured her. "Just be patient with him. It'll be worth it."

"Does everyone know?" She hid her face in her hand.

"I mean—" Addison laughed. "You two just spent like fifteen minutes talking about coffee like it is the most interesting thing on the planet."

"Maybe it is!" Alex defended.

"It's really not."

"It is to me!"

"Exactly!" Addison agreed. "And now, it is to him, too."

Alex couldn't stop the smile stretching across her face any more than she could stop the pleasant shiver that ran down her spine as she touched his hand. As much as she wished she could deny it, she knew she couldn't. Coffee had some competition in being the thing she loved most in the world.

A Free Moment

Matt stepped into his trailer and peeled off the soaked t-shirt. He tossed it in a pile with the seven exact others. Today's shoot was brutal in the Miami heat. Add multiple pyrotechnics, and he had been more than happy being blown into the Atlantic Ocean.

With his new status as the number one action star in Hollywood, he had been offered numerous roles. He was terrified to step out of his comfort zone and try something new. What if he lost the chance to act? As much as he wanted to try something with fewer explosives and cheesy lines, he didn't feel the timing was right.

He paused drying off and opened his door.

"Here's the shooting schedule for next week." The assistant director handed him a sheet of paper

"I don't have a scene?" Matt asked.

"Martin thought you could use a break." He replied. "He wants you back the week after."

A grin formed on Matt's face. "Tell him I appreciate it." He shut the door and thought about what he might like to do with his free time.

The next morning...

"Addi!" Shannon exclaimed. "We overslept!"

"Huh?" Addison lifted her head and rubbed her eyes. She reached for her alarm clock and shot up. "No! We missed our flight!"

"I know." Shannon dropped her head in her hands. "I can't believe it. Hunt is going to fail us for missing class. I just know it." Her panic grew. "Addi! We won't graduate in May!"

Addison shook her head. "We'll tell him we needed to stay longer to make sure we accurately depict club life in Miami for our short film."

Shannon flopped back on her pillow. "We are so screwed."

"Shannon!" Addison threw her pillow at her. "Who cares if Hunt fails us?"

"Me! I care!" Shannon argued. "I want to be taken seriously as an actress. Everyone knows if you study under Hunt that you can pretty much walk onto any set and be hired."

Addison hugged another pillow to her chest. "I promise to make this right. You'll become a famous actress. You'll marry another famous actor and have picture perfect babies."

Shannon snorted in her laughter. "Yeah right. 'Cause famous actors like Chris Winters are secretly holding out for someone like me."

"It could happen." Addison mumbled.

"It could." Shannon's brown eyes twinkled with mischief. "Right after I build the first apartment building on Mars."

"You really enjoyed that class project of building our own sets." Addison picked up her phone and silently ran through ways to get Hunt to excuse them.

Shannon sat up. "I know your powers of persuasion are extraordinary, but you haven't ever tested them out on Professor Hunt."

"You're making me so much more nervous." Addison pressed the call button under the grumpy professor's number.

It rang three times before his sharp voice answered.

"Hey Professor!" Addison said in her syrupy sweet voice.

"Ms. Sinclaire." Thomas replied. "I assume you are calling about an extension." 

“Wow.” Addison said. “You must be part psychic.”

Shannon slapped her hand to her forehead. Hunt was going to throw them out of the university. She could practically see her degree going up in flames.

"More like that is the only reason students call." He corrected. "What reason are you about to give to keep me from marking zeros next to your name and Ms. Wright's?"

"Remember when we said our film was going to be a romance set amongst Miami's night life?" She began.

"Of course." He grumbled. "I also remember asking why you thought Miami would be the best setting for this story?"

"Ha! Yeah." Addison responded nervously. "Anywho, we decided to spend Spring Break in Miami to work on our film."

Silence was all she heard.

"And we, uh, need another few days to film the final act." She quickly said.

Shannon pulled a pillow over her face. They were doomed.

"I see." Hunt replied in a deadly serious tone.

"I promise, professor, that we have been hard at work this whole time." Addison pleaded. "We wanted our location to add another level to the story: two tourists meet and fall in love, then part ways knowing the promises to see each other again are not going to happen."

Shannon sat up and leaned closer to hear his response.

"Normally I would end the conversation with a do not bother darkening the classroom door. You have to learn that delays should be avoided at all cost when filming." He cleared his throat. "As it so happens, I have to cancel classes next week. I've been asked to be one of the judges for a film festival in Cordonia."

Shannon covered her mouth as she jumped up and down on her bed. Addison bounced on her own at the miracle. "That's awesome, Professor!"

"Yes, well, I expect your finished film to be waiting on my return the following Monday. Understood?" His tone dripped with icy disdain.

"It'll be there." Addison promised. "Thanks again Professor."

He grunted a goodbye.

Addison dropped back on her bed and kicked her feet into the air. "Woo! That was a close one."

Matt sipped his drink while looking out at the packed South Beach nightclub. He had asked around the set on where he should go for a night out and everyone had recommended LIV. It was certainly interesting.

He had already spotted a handful of celebrities in film, music, and even a few athletes. He wished he saw someone that was an actual friend or at least someone he enjoyed being around.

He motioned for the bartender and ordered a refill. His attention dropped to the petite blonde that suddenly appeared beside him.

Her bright smile seemed contagious.

"Two tequila sunrises, please." She yelled out over the music. Her hips moved in time to the beat of the current song. She looked around at the patrons then finally lifted her eyes up at him.

His smile appeared making her blink.

He's...so...wow, she thought.

She smiled back.

He leaned down. "Hello."

Her eyes lowered. "Hi."

"Are you here with someone?" He asked.

"Just my friend." She pointed over where Shannon was. Her friend was dancing near the edge of the dance floor and it seemed that she had caught the attention of--

"Is that Chris Winters?!" Addison exclaimed.

"I think so." Matt chuckled at her shock. "Would you like to meet him?"

She twirled back around toward him. "You know Chris Winters?"

"Yeah, after we did that buddy cop film, Hickey and Marks, we--"

Addison covered her mouth. "You're Matt Rodriguez!"

He nodded. "And you are?"

"Matt Rodriguez!" She repeated in shock. She should have known who he was the moment she saw that sexy smile. "I have a poster of you shirtless over my bed." She dropped her head at that TMI.

"Really?" His smile couldn't get any bigger.

"Er, let's forget that last part." She let out a nervous laugh. "I'm Addison."

He shook her hand. "Want to dance?"

"Are you kidding? Of course!" Addison picked up her drinks and told him she needed to take this over to Shannon first.

He followed her and yelled out to Chris.

The actor looked around before spying Matt. His own highly recognizable smile popped up when he saw his old friend. He glanced at the beautiful brunette who was still oblivious to him.

Shannon looked past him when Addison called out to her. She squeezed past people trying to get out on the floor and ended up plastered against Chris.

Shannon looked up to apologize and froze.

Her shock brought out a chuckle.

"I--I am--so sorry." She stuttered.

"I'm not." He replied, his dimples deepening with his smile. "I have been spending fifteen minutes over here trying to work up the nerve to ask you to dance."

"You--me--here?" She took a deep breath and tried again. "You want to dance with me?"

His arms wrapped around her waist. "I'm just waiting on a slow song."

"Oh my--"

"Hi!" Addison looked back and forth at the two. "I brought Matt Rodriguez and a drink over."

Without taking her eyes off of Chris's face, Shannon took the offered glass. "Thank you."

Addison's lips curved in an excited smile. She just had the most brilliant idea ever. "Chris! How would you like to act out a scene with Shannon?"

"Who?" He mumbled still looking into Shannon's rich brown eyes.

"The one in your arms." Addison pointed out.

"I'd love to." He quickly responded. "As long as you would like me to."

"I would." Shannon managed to say. "It's a love scene for our student film project."

He pulled her closer. "Then we should rehearse." 

Shannon’s lips parted with no words in response.

Matt watched his friend with a great deal of shock. Chris never acted like this with women. "He must have fallen hard." He whispered to Addison.

"I think she has too." She whispered back.

She set her empty glass down. "Come on." She took his hand and led him to the dance floor.

The next few days found the four working on the girls' final project before graduation.

Days and nights were filled with getting to know one another and deciding how best to present their film. Matt helped Addison with all the behind the scenes while Chris coached Shannon with her acting. With the guys' input and star power along with Miami's setting, a film worthy to be shown in cinemas was created.

Matt's suite...

"I can't believe it." Shannon threw her arms around Addison. She started hopping up and down with her as they watched the credits roll. "We did it! We made a movie!"

"I know!" Addison squealed some more. "I can't wait to get on that plane tomorrow."

Chris and Matt's delighted smiles dimmed.

"You leave tomorrow?" Matt asked.

The girls froze, realizing what that meant.

"Yeah." Addison's shoulders slumped.

Chris rubbed the back of his neck while looking at Shannon. "I won't be back in Hollywood for at least another two months."

Matt frowned. "A month for me if I'm lucky."

Shannon sat down on the couch. All her earlier joy had disappeared. "Oh."

"We still have tonight." Addison reminded them.

Chris straightened up and walked over to Shannon. "If you guys don't mind, I would like some time alone with Shannon. I--" he paused when she lifted her face up. "We need to make plans for when I return to California."

Shannon looked questionably at Addison and grinned when her friend nodded. "I'll see you back in our room Addi."

Once the couple were gone, Matt sat down beside Addison. "Is there anything you would like to do on our last night?"

She shook her head. "No." Her shy smile appeared. "I've had so much fun hanging out with you."

"Me too." His heartbeat skipping smile popped up. "I know we never really went on a date--"

"No. We didn't." She muttered, not even bothering to hide her disappointment.

"I don't suppose that once I'm back in L.A. that you might want to go out with me." He waited, his eyes touching on her face framed by her sun streaked golden curls.

Her bright blue eyes twinkled with mischief. "I might want to." She leaned closer toward him. "What would a date with Matt Rodriguez look like?"

His arm curved around her shoulders. "Pretty normal. Dinner. Dancing." He lowered his lips close to her cheek. "It's the ending that really makes it special."

She realized she had stopped breathing with that soft kiss touching her cheek. "Really? And how do these typically end."

Matt turned her face toward his. Their lips met and Addison pulled away, suddenly shy.

"You've probably kissed a dozen or so beautiful, talented women." She bit down on her bottom lip. "I'm more of a friend to guys like you--"

He captured her lips again. She melted against him under the passion he was conjuring with such a kiss. He lifted his head and met her awed gaze.

"Sorry Addison, but we will never be friends." He told her, smiling when she yanked him back for another kiss.

Movie Date

Summary: Damien and Kai go on a movie date, a night after their friend’s engagement party.

“Sorry, Kai. I was stuck in the traffic,” explained Damien as he found Kai at the ticketing counter.

“No worries. I’ve got the tickets.”

“What are we watching tonight?”

“You’ll know soon enough,” replied Kai, as she chuckled to herself. It was her idea on having a movie date, as her compensation to Damien for making him put on an outfit that he wasn’t too comfortable with. Although he liked that outfit very much in the end, she had to keep her promise.

Damien and Kai finally got to the theatre, which was already packed with people munching on their popcorn and sipping their drinks.

“Well, I’m looking forward to it,” said Damien as he laced his fingers with Kai’s, after settling into their seats at the middle row.

“And I hope you’ll enjoy it,” Kai looked at her boyfriend with a glint in her eye, as the opening credits started to roll.

“Hey. Why did you pick this title?” asked Damien, as they made their way out of the theatre, hands held together.

“I thought I needed some inspiration... you know,” Kai answered, while her cheeks started to feel warm.

“The Fireman, starring Chris Winters. What a rich source of inspiration,” Damien commented drily, as a smirk formed from the corner of his lips.
