it was a really cool job it was in a library in like the middle of the woods. but youre not here to read about that haha.

hmmm i am trying to reflect on my design choices so i can write about them but honestly not a lot of thoughts went into this, just a mug of black coffee and disappointment :-/

also it's been such a long time since i played this series so forgive me if i got any of the plot details wrong since i literally can;t remember :'-(

it was fun writing the synopses for the movies though! and whoops i forgot the tagline for the last duchess :-(

the ratings and other stats are totally random, so don't read too much into it

i started feeling better once i got to the last one tee hee and as a result i didnt want to do this anymore which is why ninradell is the WORST looking one lmfaooo

they never said who played the sage in ninradell so i casted aliana velazquez from LOA since we never really got to see what her career was like oustide of the riverdale clone from that one chapter :-) rip aliana :-(

Synopsis: Thomas and Alex head to Lake Tahoe to celebrate their engagement.

She laced her fingers with his over the shifter, shaking her head at her friends' replies. They didn't see what she saw, but that was okay. They didn't need to.

His black car drifted lazily through the winding mountain roads, allowing them time to enjoy the journey as glistening white crystals fell around them, peppering their path.

Her stomach fluttered as his thumb caressed along her hand. She chewed her lip, biting back her growing smile as her gaze shifted to the diamond ring on her finger.

The last few weeks had been a whirlwind. What had started as a fun vacation with friends between films turned into a near-devastating tragedy that resulted in an impromptu engagement. It may not have been what either she or Thomas would have planned, but neither regretted taking that next step together. Thomas had even proposed a second time to ensure she knew it wasn't a rash decision. 

She signed happily, her gaze drifting between him and the snow as they continued forward. Lake Tahoe was their place. It was where they had first escaped to in order to explore their feelings in private. It was where they grew closer and began the first chapter of their forever. So it would be where they officially celebrated their engagement and where Alex hoped they'd return one day to get married. 

There was something about the snow that always captivated her. It began when she was a child and had only grown with her. The wonder and excitement of that first perfect snow. The glistening flakes fluttering down until the dark and barren land birthed a winter wonderland where all suddenly seemed possible.

It wasn't something she could explain, but rather, something that had to be experienced to be understood. 

He lifted her hand, brushing a kiss across her knuckles. The warmth of his breath lingered on her skin. "A penny for your thoughts?"

"I'm just happy," she admitted contentedly. "The world is full of so much potential and beauty. If you stop and take even just a moment to appreciate the small things around you, you can truly see all the wonder the world has to offer." Her nose scrunched as she smiled wide, lost between the snowflakes guiding their path. She shook her head, trying to pull herself back from her dreamy appreciation of the season. "Anyway... thank you for indulging me. I know the snow isn't for everyone."

"If it's important to you, it's important to me, Alex." He offered her hand a gentle squeeze. "Seeing you happy is all that matters to me."

She tipped her head back against the headrest, her gaze tracing down his features. "I don't know how I got so lucky."

"I'm the lucky one," he admitted. "You see hope everywhere and in everyone, even in me. I can only try to be worthy of that and be the man you deserve."

"You already are. You are the one I love. You're everything I need and could want. I’m so glad we found each other. As long as we have each other, the world will always be filled with hope and wonder as we write each page of our lives together."

His thumb brushed beneath her ring, his lips pulling up. "Together," he agreed as they continued forward hand in hand, their future entirely their own.

Reason is because how they do Rodeo here down in Texas in different cities during February and March.

Baking Woes

"Addison!" Matt coughed as he rushed through the smoked filled house. "Where are you?!"

A tearful wail drew him to the kitchen.

He coughed some more as he made his way towards her. His worry grew when he saw her slumped across the kitchen counter.

"Addison?" Matt tried to pick her up.

Tear filled blue eyes lifted toward him.

"Are you hurt?" He held her tight as he quickly scanned her for any visible injuries.

"No." She yelled to be heard over the smoke alarms screeching their warnings.

"There's a fire somewhere!" He yelled back. "We have to get out of here!"

"I put it out!" She struggled out of his arms to open up the kitchen windows.

Matt watched her in disbelief as she fanned the smoke with a badly singed cooking magazine.

It wasn't long before the smoke alarms shut off.

"Is that what was burning?" Matt asked, pointing at what was left of the magazine.

"What?" She looked down at the item she swore would help make their first Christmas as a couple special. "It wasn't the only thing on fire."

Matt's eyes widened as he took in the disaster that had struck his once pristine kitchen. Mixing bowls were littered all over the table and bar. Egg shells were scattered along the counters, dripping egg whites down the cabinets. Flour was strewn about the floor and sink. Measuring cups held the residues of mysterious liquids.

Addison herself appeared to have taken part in a battle. Her shiny blonde hair was nearly white with flour dustings. Strands had escaped her messy bun to hang lopsided along the tips of her ears and the back of her neck. Smudges of egg and brown goo were dotted all over her red apron and green leggings. He knew she'd donned a white t-shirt earlier. He wasn't certain what color it would be after it was thoroughly washed.

Whatever she'd fought in here had beaten her.

And that aroma...

"What is that smell?" He asked.

Addison slumped once more upon a clean spot on the kitchen counter.

"It was supposed to be gingerbread cookies, now it's just a pile of coal."

"Gingerbread cookies?" Matt couldn't believe a cookie could do this much damage in so little time.

He looked about and saw a tray with blackened, oddly shaped objects.

"I ruined them." She sniffed as tears began to fall. "I ruined everything!"

The one thing Matt couldn't take in life was seeing Addison's tears.

He pulled her in his arms, ignoring the squish of whatever she'd spilled on herself and the feel of cold liquid seeping through his clean dress shirt.

Matt pressed a kiss to the top of her head as she cried against his chest. He left his head bent too long in her flour coated hair and ended up sneezing multiple times.

"Oh no!" Addison wailed louder than before. "Now I've made you sick!" She wiped her eyes with the back of her hands. "Christmas is ruined!"

"No, it isn't!" Matt tilted her face up, gently wiping the stray tears that continued to fall. "You're here, right?"

He kissed her forehead.

She nodded while reaching for a paper towel to wipe her nose.

"And I'm here." He pressed another soft kiss to her cheek.

She mumbled an agreement.

"Then it sounds like the perfect Christmas to me." He gave her a tender kiss.

Addison slipped her arms around his neck, sighing when he ended the sweet exchange.

"This is why I love you, Matt." She snuggled within his arms. "You always point out the good things when bad things happen."

He smiled while holding her close.

"It's easy whenever you're around."

She looked up at him. Her typical bright smile appeared once more.

"There's my sunshine girl." He mumbled against her lips. "I was worried she disappeared in the smoke."

She giggled, shaking her head over such a nickname. Her attention was then drawn to the man-made disaster she'd created.

She'd been so sure she would end up being a wonderful baker.

Boy was I wrong, she thought to herself.

"I'm sorry I destroyed your kitchen." Her bottom lip began to quiver as new tears filled her eyes.

"It's no big deal." Matt tugged her back in his arms.

He leaned his head down until he was eye level with her when she began to sniff.

"Addison, I don't care if this kitchen has to be demolished and I have to start all over again with contractors."

"I don't think it's that bad." She mumbled.

He grinned. "I know that and now you do too."

"Okay." She looked up at him. "Now what do we do?"

"I say we leave this room and pretend it doesn't exist for a while."

"Matt!" She giggled even harder as he took her hand and made a dramatic show of sneaking out of the kitchen.

"There!" He playfully wiped his brow. "We made it."

"What am I going to do with you?" Addison asked.

She wrapped her arms around his waist, leaning close to kiss his lips.

"I definitely love where your head is at right now." He said between kisses.

He lifted her up, smiling against her lips when she wrapped her legs around his waist.

"I have to make it up to you somehow." She kissed down his neck. "Not only did I destroy your kitchen--"

"The room that shall not be named." He corrected.

She laughed in the midst of his kiss.

"Not only did I destroy the room that shall not be named, I also ruined our treats for tonight."

"Hmm. That is a problem." Matt pretended to ponder this. "There's only one way to fix this."

"And what's that?" Addison asked.

He placed her on the couch then covered her body with his.

"You'll have to be my treat tonight." Matt replied.

Christian Tyler (nyc_chemist) is my MC from The Nanny Affair. She is Sawyer's best friend from college.

Beckham Brooks (becks_brooks) is my MC from Red Carpet Diaries. She is Sawyer's cousin. Beckham is with Matt Rodriguez who I've mentioned in an edit. And through her cousin, Sawyer is also friends with Seth the comedian (ScreenwriterSeth).

Robot Chicken #41: “Werewolf vs. Unicorn” | August 12, 2007 - 11:30PM | S03E01

Well, it’s time for Robot Chicken, the show you love to eat. I am blazed out of my freaking brains right now, so let’s get “ultimate weed party” level high for this stonehead classic.

This episode resolves the cliffhanger from last season where Matt Senreich goes all nuts and blows everyone away during a live Robot Chicken telethon. Matt is renegotiating the contract of the show now that he’s the sole creative person left on the production staff. Seth and the rest come back as Zombies. Freaking epic, dude. They do a Thriller reference, and they steal a John Landis elevator music gag. This sketch is notable for featuring both Keith Crawford and Mike Lazzo, the Mommy and Daddy of Adult Swim respectively, playing themselves. :(

Next is Defenders of the Earth, with various characters owned by King Features Syndicate being an Avengers-style superhero team. They are merely in charge of a Neighborhood Watch program and refuse to fight actual planetary threats like an asteroid, even though it’s in their name. Okay! :( 

There’s the Shouter, which is a “Clapper” style device where you scream and stuff to get it to turn on and off. This is a solid premise and I thought they made fairly funny choices of stuff to yell. :( 

There’s a Transformers sketch where Soundwave is destroyed by two dudes who kill him by being jerks basically. Then they sell him on eBay, damn eBay really does do have everything! :(

Then there’s a part where a nerd has a web show, like that SNL sketch where Jimmy Fallon is a college-aged pot head on webcam. Remember that? It’s like that but a nerd is doing it to talk about nerd stuff, and then a bully shows up and says biphobic stuff at him :( the comedy idea here is that nerds like using the internet to deliver messages. :(

Then there’s a rude one with Adam and Steve, the famous gay guys from the Bible. They name all the animals, but Steve, the girl gay guy, comes in and names stuff ruder names. He calls a Zebra a “Ramburglar” :( 

Lotta frowns so far, but that’s about to change: they do a thing about the board game “The Game of Life”, and this one I actually remember seeing and thinking wasn’t too bad. I still think this is one of their stronger sketches and I think sometimes they arrive at concepts that their animation is much better at conveying than their normal stuff with the toys. The game pieces in this look great. The jokes aren’t that strong, but it’s such a great premise, and I forgive it for being basic.

Then there’s a thing about Arnold Schwarzenegger (who should seriously consider maybe changing the last four letters of his name) giving a speech about illegal immigrants (the final joke makes light of his own immigrant status… my goodness!). We see little vignettes with Speezy Gonzalaes and Dora the Explorer. The part where Slow-poke Rodriguez begs to not be deported because they will execute him in Mexico made me laugh. 

The closing credits have to make up for the fact that they didn’t have an opening credits sequence for this episode, so they list more names than usual, causing the chicken’s “bock bock” song to go way long, and boy, I felt every second of it. I started Imagining a sweetly retarded boy in his bedroom watching this and joining in the bock bocks himself and it made me smile. I should remove that last sentence before I publish this. But, it’s true. I really did use my imagination in an insulting way. I’m sorry! I am as god made me and god don’t make no trash.

Neat story that you’ll like: I was in a record store that sold used DVDs and always try to buy SOMETHING when I go into a store like this. So, I found the Robot Chicken season three DVD for a decent price, and thought “hey, I could get this if I can’t find anything I actually want, I could at least use it for the blog. Maybe I will start watching the commentaries for these”. Well, I couldn’t find anything better so I got it for probably five dollars. The packaging is actually in really nice condition, and it still has the little Williams Street ad sheet inside. ANYWAY: I listened to the commentary for this one and it had Dino Stamatopoulos on it. He makes fun of Matt for smiling too much (I agree) and asks Seth how it was working with Woody Allen. Very fun!

Tim & Eric’s Awesomecon (July 28, 2007)

I searched high and low for Adult Swim’s panel schedule for San Diego Comic-Con in 2007. Then I remembered something: They didn’t have any panels at comic-con! I think they may have even been banned for a year for various Dino-related incidents (haha). I remembered this because I got tickets to comic-con for the first time ever this year, and had a fucking blast; but was mildly miffed that I would not get to witness and Adult Swim panel in person. In fact, I stayed with some friends who sorta hijacked me for a couple days of it, and I honestly shoulda just gone to the thing by myself; I coulda seen so much more.

I made sure not to miss Tim & Eric’s Awesomecon, which was held in a park by the convention center. It wasn’t officially a Comic-Con event, but it was sort of a sattellite event. Adult Swim seems to have given them a little money for food and banners and stuff. Tim & Eric hosted various competitive field day type games and the winner got to ride a jet ski. Notably I met my future wife at this event. WOW! I like still like her to this day!

Did I mention the Tomicon from the year before? Maybe I didn’t. Oh well. My wife has more cred than I do on the Tim & Eric front, because she attended Tomicon and I did not. It was held at Dick’s Last Resort, which is a chain restaurant where the gimmick is that the waiters insult you in various rehearsed ways, and she tells me that they were so obnoxious back to the waiters that you could tell they won at being mean! Good lord I wish I was there. I would have told my waiter that I loved him and I appreciated him and that he was doing a good job :)
