hmmm i am trying to reflect on my design choices so i can write about them but honestly not a lot of thoughts went into this, just a mug of black coffee and disappointment :-/

also it's been such a long time since i played this series so forgive me if i got any of the plot details wrong since i literally can;t remember :'-(

it was fun writing the synopses for the movies though! and whoops i forgot the tagline for the last duchess :-(

Reason is because how they do Rodeo here down in Texas in different cities during February and March.

Kind of. I've mentioned characters from other Choices books in my Intern Year series.

Christian Tyler (nyc_chemist) is my MC from The Nanny Affair. She is Sawyer's best friend from college.

Beckham Brooks (becks_brooks) is my MC from Red Carpet Diaries. She is Sawyer's cousin. Beckham is with Matt Rodriguez who I've mentioned in an edit. And through her cousin, Sawyer is also friends with Seth the comedian (ScreenwriterSeth).

I have a couple WIPs that are OH/TNA crossovers where Sam Dalton and Robin Flores make appearances.

I'm love intertwining my MCs and main characters. I've always thought in the back of my mind there is a six degrees of separation thing happening in my Choices universe.

Twins 3 Orioles 11 W-Rodriguez (3-0) L-Paddack (0-1)

The Minnesota Twins have been tested with some good teams early in the season. The Orioles flexed their muscles in a win last night and Game 2 was tonight in Baltimore. The Orioles struck first in the second as Colton Cowser led-off with a single to right and James McCann doubled him home. Gunnar Henderson then crushed a Chris Paddack slider out to right for a two-run homer to put Baltimore up by three in a hurry. The Orioles got back to work in the third when Ryan O'Hearn and Cedric Mullins singled. Colton Cowser plated a run with an RBI groundout and Jordan Westburg smacked a Chris Paddack slider out to left to extend the Baltimore lead to six. The O's weren't done yet as Jackson Holliday walked and James McCann singled. Gunnar Henderson hit a run-scoring single to left and the rout was on. The Twins would find some offense in the fourth as Alex Kirilloff reached on a fielder's choice. Byron Buxton tripled him home and the Twins were on the board. The Orioles countered as Anthony Santander singled and reached second on a groundball. Colton Cowser singled home another run and the Baltimore lead was back to seven. The Twins inched closer in the sixth as Ryan Jeffers lined a one-out double to right. Alex Kirilloff singled him home to pull Minnesota within six. The Orioles got that run back with a Adley Ruschman single and a wild pitch. Anthony Santander greeted Caleb Thielbar with a run-scoring single to left to put the O's back up by seven. The Orioles weren't done yet as Ryan O'Hearn smoked a Jay Jackson slider out to right for a two-rn homer in the eighth. The Twins didn't go away quietly in the ninth with a Jair Camargo walk and Trevor Larnach single to right. Jose Miranda lined a run-scoring single to center and the Twins pulled within eight. Mike Baumann retired the next three men and the Orioles picked up the series win tonight at home.

-Final Thoughts- Chris Paddack got knocked around tonight. He gave up nine runs on twelve hits over 5 1/3 innings with two strikeouts. Caleb Thielbar got the final two outs of the sixth and Jay Jackson allowed two runs over two innings with three strikeouts. Ryan Jeffers stayed hot with two more hits on the night. The Twins hit 2-for-10 with runners in scoring position and left six men on base. Trevor Larnach was called up and Matt Wallner was optioned to St. Paul. Tomorrow, Pablo Lopez will start for the Twins. Tyler Wells will be scratched from his start for the Orioles.

3. Obscure headcanon

The Hand tried to diversify their portfolio by breaking into the entertainment industry, starting in Japan with musical groups. Matt had a short-lived stint as a solo artist but the project was eventually scrapped. He still misses it sometimes. Nobody knows about this until Foggy finds a beat up CD case in used music store one day and spends a full minute gawking at the familiar brooding face on the cover.

12. Crack headcanon

I just think it would be funny if he was a vegetarian. I don't even know that I consider this a headcanon, it would just be funny if the guy going around murdering people with his sword cane ate a lot of tofu.

9. Scene that first made me love (or hate) the character

I read Spider-Verse before it was cool (JKJK I mean before the first movie because I was deep in my Spider-Man era) and there's a part in the story where a lot of the main Spider-People split up into pairs to go and visit other universes to recruit more heroes/ ward off the Inheritors etc. Gwen ends up in a world where Peter Parker has become the Goblin, going down a path not too dissimilar from her own Peter's. This Peter also ends up dying in her arms, but she shows a great deal of compassion and understanding towards him and I think that was the moment that really made me want to check out her series. (Which had been written at the time I read that comic, but didn't exist when it had been written, which I think speaks to how good of a job that one scene did at developing a character who had literally just been invented.)

13. Dumbest thing they’ve ever done

Not dumbest in that it was a conscious decision she made, but her complete misreading of the emotions of her friends (Peter's obvious crush on her, MJ's annoyance at Gwen's missing Peter's crush on her, MJ's jealousy and motivation for creating the band in general) sort of stretches the limit of general obliviousness, especially since she CAN read people when she's trying to.

23. If they were a scented candle, what would they smell like?

I'm low-key obsessed with Dollar Dog and I love that for Gwen. I wouldn't say she felt guilty about it before it became a hipster nightclub but she sure does now. I hope it fell out of fashion and Mr. Alby got to run it again.

She stayed up late one night picking out some cool colors, hot pink, purple, something very chillwave, and like a very heavily filtered landscape photo of the city to go at the top- she posted semi-regularly for a month and a half and then forgot about it.

35. Their idea of a perfect day

She gets to sleep through most of it, but wakes up and finds out that her dad has invited her over for brunch and she's got time to make it and pick up juice on the way.

44. Their happiest memory

Probably something like a middle school holiday spent with her parents and the Parker family. Before things got complicated. She understands now that the roots of her larger problems were always there, but she can appreciate the comfort her innocence afforded her back then.

Mixed Signals is my first official, Open Heart series. I did a crack ship series a year or so ago of Ethan and TRR's Olivia. This time, no other Choices characters will intrude 😂 It begins shortly after the attack with my MC, Chris. In this AU, she isn't with Tobias and doesn't really know him that well. She'll end up trying to figure out who's the best for her: Ethan who won't fully commit, Bryce who won't really tell her how he feels about her, or Tobias who on the surface seems to be content with being friends with her.

First Impression: I was given this request for Thomas Hunt and my OC a while back 😬 They will be together and reminiscing about what their first impressions were of each other.

The Queen's Choice: I wrote a drabble a while back where Liam abdicated to be with the MC. Since Olivia is next in line to the throne, she is now Queen. But like Liam, she must get married. I was asked by @twinkleallnight to write this, and I realized it would need more than just a drabble or two to give justice to Olivia's story.

Pieces of Us might be my biggest crossover idea yet, LOL. I have it set in the early 1930's. War has happened between Cordonia and Auvernal. It will have characters from TRR, Perfect Match, Red Carpet Diaries, Crimes of Passion, and Open Heart. I want it to have so many story elements: drama, romance, humor, angst, mystery, ect 🤣 I'm not sure if it will ever fully come about, but I have so many scenarios in my mind for it along with numerous notes and such.

None But You is my RCD Regency AU series. This will be the second half of the completed series. There were a few more storylines I meant to explore in it, but my health had taken a rough turn during it and I finished it earlier than intended. The next few parts I have planned focus on the characters helping Chris Winters and Matt Rodriguez find their true loves. Now that Thomas Hunt and Ryan Summers have their ladies, it is only fitting that they see their friends also shackled in holy matrimony 😂

3. Describe the creative process of writing a chapter/fic.

Basically, I daydream/outline the fic at the day, living my usual life, and when I lay in my bed at night, phone in my hand, I begin writing my fic, combining my plans and random ideas which come to me in the process of writing.

14. How do you write emotional scenes? Do you ever feel what the characters feel? Do you draw from personal experiences?

Emotional scenes come to me almost randomly, to give some depth to the character. And yes, sometimes I do feel some emotions experienced by the characters, especially if it's amplified by a tragic song beginning to play in my head. Also, no, I don't draw from personal experience.

21. Would you ever collaborate with another writer for a story?

Yes, it's just the issue of the story itself - I want it to be interesting enough for me to be invested in it.

27. What is your most and least favorite part of writing?

My favorite part is THINKING about the writing - the plot, the moments, the emotions, the dialogues, they sound so good in my head) My least favorite part is finding right words for the writing, like: this one doesn't seem good enough, that one is just wrong aaaargh

31. Do you start with the characters or the plot when writing?

I start with the plot, side characters come to me in the process of writing.

38. Would you ever write commissions?

If the premise of the commission would strike me, that's possible. But so far, no.

39. Share a snippet from a WIP.

From my only fic, The Mechanic:

Somewhere midway in Pennsylvania, a quiet forest lies, not disturbed by any human. And as the wind quietly flowed through the trees, fluttering leaves which in return made a barely audible noise, someone was coming to this forest. Someone really fast and with no intentions of staying here to look at the inherent beauty of this place. As this person flashed right above the trees, leaving a cyan whoosh behind him, a lone leaf would catch fire, which was quickly extinguished by the wind, following this man. It was Matthew Shields, otherwise known as The Mechanic, going to god knows where in his nanite suit. "Alrighty, what is the situation in Akron?" - Matt asked, and right after that, the live feed of local news turned on on his HUD, showing images of a strange man placing his hand on different sources of electricity like generators and street lamps. Soon after that, they would be broken or otherwise unable to work. And if any policeman tried to arrest him, they would get shocked. Some of them were already killed this way. "So, some guy sucks out the electricity from the city… Got it."

Soon enough Matthew was in Akron, Ohio, looking out for any signs of this man nearby. But as soon as he landed, local news reported that police lost track of him. "Well, either my fame is now national, or he's just scared of any opposition to his little party." - Matt responded with a little pride in his voice. "Mister, this is not the time to crack jokes." - A woman sternly responded to him. "Oh, sorry, ma'am. May I know your name?" "Sylvia Rodriguez, chief police officer." "Nice to meet you, Sylvia. Name's Matthew." "And don't you happen to be The Mechanic?" "Yeah, that's me." - Matt answered, realizing that yeah, his feats are now recognized at least 2 states away from New York. But after all, some of his things could get on NBC or CNN - his battle with a giant robot in Japan, for example. "You seem not very keen on this whole secret identity thing, am I right?" - the chief asked while keeping her cold voice.

47. How many times do you usually revise your fic/chapter before posting?

From one to two: one if the beta doesn't have any questions to me to fix some grammar mistakes, two if he does have questions, at which point I try to fix them.

51. What’s your total AO3 word count?

From my one fic, it's almost 20k by now.

67. Do you prefer prompts and challenges, or completely independent ideas?

I choose independent ideas (which are still inspired by other movies and TV series, but still), as I haven't accepted any challenges (probably because I'm only starting) and didn't see any prompts that grew on me.

68. What, if anything, do you do for inspiration?

Well... I don't really do things for inspiration, it usually hit me suddenly when I do the most random things. Also, while writing I just listen to a lot of anime songs to get me into the right mood.

73. What do you think makes your writing stand out from other works?

I think that my fic has that "2000's action superhero cartoon" energy in it combined with more serious fare, sprinkled with combination of various genres in different chapters.
