“Angor Reborn” is my favorite Trollhunters’ book.
Just imagine a screen adaptation of this book.  It would have been the best episode of Trollhunters by far
The dialogues between Jim and Angor Rot are fantastic. The fight was fantastic. And Angor Rot is a great character.
I mean
Tumblr media Tumblr media
HE HAS A POINT ABOUT MORGANA AND MERLIN
But i absolutely love Jimbo’s answer here <3
Tumblr media
The best part of this fight is that Angor Rot never wanted to kill Jim.  Not here. Damn i feel sorry for Angor because Morgana screwed him up (he hate her and Gunmar with burning passion btw).
This dude was a victim. And he wanted to make Jim like him
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Again, Jimbo is a KING:
Tumblr media
The ending was my favorite part
Tumblr media
The interactions between these two are so good. Angor and Jim are nemesis. We deserved to see this fight in the series.....
bwt the moonlight armor is amazing

Old animation featuring a friend's Oc Marshall with Sfarx & Oscuri, abit out of character for Sfarx since I see them giving her headpats/messing up her hair instead of crying but the audio was funny so made them cry lol also a small dynamic of Marshall & Oscuri not liking each other she does mess with him for being sassy/drama queen most of the time

I don't think I shared this before but since noticed a substential lack of Vlasta on my tumblr...
Have a Chief and Vlasta moment:
*Vlasta and their co-worker weeding the flowerbeds* Coworker: Hey, what happened to your legs? Vlasta: Oh you know, the leeches Coworker, paling: ... The... The leeches??? Chief walking by, joining the conversation: Was it feeding time again? Coworker, nearly fainting: Feeding time??? Vlasta: Yeah, they took their fair share, cute lil buggers. Chief, nodding: Just make sure to drink enough water. Coworker, still in shock: Feeding time....

actually i think that's interesting i never really thought about it this way but since in homestuck death is just another form of sleeping, dreaming, spiritual awakening, then lord english not being able to die is what prevents him from growing spiritually. when he sacrificed his ability to reproduce he simultaneously sacrificed his ability to renew himself

THERE'S A CASTLE ON THE HILL, AS THE STORY GOES...
As promised, some initial thoughts on the things I loved about seeing this show. Spoiler free, since most of us haven't gotten to see it yet, and under the cut since I do wax a bit poetic...
Cinderella’s Castle is, in a strange way, an exercise in irony. The show is a retelling of an ancient story that is beloved and recited throughout so many cultures, and yet somehow feels completely fresh. The modern take on glam-punk lighting, a score infused with styles from 80s synth to anime, a high fantasy set with the costumes to match, the spirit of Jim Henson lingering through both the puppets and some larger and intangible vibe, a script combining that Starkid humor and Hatchetfield darkness with a whole different style of speaking… all of these beautifully executed elements melted together into something that I’ve never before seen. To take a tale as old as time and make it unique is no easy feat, but Starkid did so with magic and charm to spare.
Like any good Starkid show, Cinderella’s Castle is relentlessly dynamic: fun and tragic and exciting and just-plain-silly, with many twists and turns and character moments will make you gasp or cheer just as often as you laugh. It simply rollicks. The story clicks right along, especially in act 2, but the characters are so distinct and fun that I found myself almost wishing the Langs had sacrificed their plotting and pace just to spend more time hanging with every single member of this ensemble of personalities.
And that’s also a tribute to the actors themselves. Jeff is David Bowie reborn as the impish and fabulous narrator. Jon and Joey bring Hop A Lot and Crumb to life with so much charm and presence that they practically had the audience eating out of their hands from the very first second. Like, seriously, you will not believe how invested you will immediately become in these talking animals. Kim’s Fairy Queen is as radiant and terrible as promised; her portrayal of immortal inhuman power compels and commands and stands fully distinct from the Lords in Black. Lauren and Mariah are delightfully disgusting as the vile but deeply lovable troll step-sisters; you can feel the fun they’re having practically radiating off of them. Curt’s Tadius is dryly funny and put-upon, but also provides a vitally grounding and centering presence in the larger-than-life world of the Lands That Are. His big scene with Bryce is probably my favorite part of the whole show. James Tolbert is nothing short of an absolute STAR as the Prince, stealing scene after scene after scene with ease and charm and more jokes about genitalia than I think any of us expected. Angela once again displays a completely different facet of her never-ending range, exuding such elegance and control even in trollish filth that I do fear that the kids on the internet are going to start calling her “mother” with greatly increasing frequency. "Facade" was an absolute highlight of the night. And of course Bryce anchors, propels, and heightens every scene she’s in with such apparent ease you forget she’s been rehearsing for weeks and isn’t simply Ella herself. Ella is this world’s bruised, brave, and angry heart, and you will absolutely root for her every step of the way as she wrestles with who she is and learns what it means to claim her own power.
This was Starkid’s biggest budgeted show to date, and you could tell. This group of Michigan Wolverines and friends have accomplished incredible things since the Very Potter days of a single door and some cardboard columns, and I’m so proud of how far they’ve come. And yet Cinderella’s Castle, the fifteenth musical in the fifteenth year, still retains some of that core Starkid magic that I’ve always believed boils down to love. You can so often see that love emanating from the performers on a Starkid stage: love for the show, for their friends, for their craft, for the audience’s energy pushing them through. And the sense of love and support and community radiating from the audience is just as palpable. The man sitting behind me last night was at his first ever Starkid show, and afterwards he remarked in awe how that was the best audience he’d ever been in. And all that love isn’t unearned—it is built and it is nourished by a proud history of creativity, of song and of dance and of laughter and tears. And Cinderella’s Castle, I think, is going to prove an installment worthy of both Starkid’s past and future.
Starkid family, Bogs Hollow grants thee Starlight.

There is also suite a lot of strange parallels between Godwyn and the Albinaurics. The facture that he seem to be legless is obvious, but his status as the progenitor of the Golden lineage is suite reminiscent of the mysterious mother of silver and all Albinaurics (see Latenna's questline).
Rennala, oddly, fit this status too, As she cannot use her legs and five birth to many children, who can't use there legs eather, and Albinaurics seems to make up the entirety of Liurna's native population.
A third interesting detail is the similarity between the legless Albinaurics and half broken Radagon. Both have a sort of dark shadowy smoke taking the shape of the body parts they lost.
Finally, Godwyn's corpse has, I think, a silver and a golden bracelet on each arm. The half-man half-snake/fish body is also a common symbolisme to represent dual nature in alchemy, And his emblem, the ecclipse, associate the Sun of the golden order and the Full Moon, frequently associated with silver and magic, which fits the Prince of Death motif of using both Faith and Int.
I still don't know what this means but I definitely think a conspiracy is afoot.
Elden Ring's demigods all have incredibly varied and iconic design so it makes me insane that Godwyn design is just Radagon with golden hair. From the only picture of him alive in the opening he even have similar clothing and his arms are the same position as Marika iconic pose. I can't write a proper theory about it but i think there is something to be found.

the realisation that a black hole's gravity is the same force that keeps characters 'stuck' in their 'homes' recontextualises a lot.
trapping Lord English in a black hole is poetic justice, so in retrospect it's obvious that the narrative forces behind his punishment would be the same as those behind the punishment he gives out. but the Rapture - the inevitable gathering of characters at a black hole, a tradition dating all the way back to Problem Sleuth - should also be thought of as cosmically analogous to the synonymously-named Reckoning: so it only makes sense that when a character is sucked into a black hole, it's analogous to being returned to the hole they were born from, just as the Reckoning sends the characters to the places of their birth (and just like how cherubs return to the black holes they were literally born from to reproduce, generation after generation).
consider the sprites, being drawn to the Plot Point the same way they seem to be drawn to the Battlefield once the game of Sburb is over - remembering that the rules of Sburb dictate a sprite cannot leave the Hero's home (until set free via pendant), we can now see that sprites are at all times subject to the whims of the gravitational pull of the childhood home.
and now that Beyond Canon's forces all convene once more at the singularity of a black hole, setting the scene for yet another Rapture, it becomes especially clear that this meteor they're all fighting over so intently is in fact the same meteor where the trolls were ectobiologically born. Vriska is tugged at not only by the gravity of her old toxic cycles of behaviour, the gravity of her oppressive childhood home, but by the gravity of the very literal rock that gave birth to her. the more layers we peel away, the more and more literally the Plot Point seems to be a cocoon for Vriska to be reborn from, if only she can escape that gravitational pull of the past.
remember, too, that like a cherub returning to the black hole of its birth, this meteor was once where Kanaya wished to seed the next generation of the troll race - just one small additional nuance to the fact that she must now defend it with her life from the encroaching forces of Jane's regime.
and even Kanaya's own Space symbol seems to take on new significance in this light. etymologically speaking, the starry arms of a 'galaxy' are mother's milk, befitting the aspect of creation; but the black hole that pulls the spiral arms together, too, is now the comfort of the womb. so it should be emphasised for a second time that Beyond Canon's "constellatory quartet" - three Heroes of Space and one of Void - are convening now at their own black hole, surrounded by the spiral arms of a galaxy, pulled in by the immense gravitational influence of a monolithic entity simply called Home.
