While I don't write a whole lot of Ravioli content, I do have a lovely friend who does.

If you haven't checked out the Rupees and Rods collection by Tendertendrils on AO3, you absolutely need to. This ongoing series already contains 30 stories (!!!) and is full of sweet, silly, and jaw-dropping smut. It's got a little bit of everything: bondage, dom/sub dynamics, questionable communication at times, failsex, and is a fascinating deep-dive into characterization through sex as written by an author of deep thoughtfulness, devious creativity, and incredible skill.

Ravio won’t appear in hero’s paradox (present) but he can do some cameos in flashbacks or so.

What made me ship it? I think just because they're cute, it's got some nice conflict to it and the ending sequence where Ravio tells off Hilda is SO much character packed into a tiny package... How could I not? He's so desperate to please, and Link is so sweet.

What are your favourite things about the ship? They have really different approaches to life. Link is very much the 'hit the problem until it stops' and Ravio would make a ten step process to buy groceries, and somehow they'll still make things work. It's very fun to pull them together and make things mesh. I tend to write Link in LBW as extremely easy-going, almost a doormat and Ravio has an anxious control freak who thinks something's going to go wrong any moment and letting them comfort each other is so sweet.

My unpopular opinion on the ship is that I will fucking bite people who play into the "Unscrupulous Merchant" stereotyping of Ravio. Can we just not with the unexamined antisemitism. I know it's not well-known nowadays but its not even supported by the game. If you choose to re-start at your house, Ravio is super sweet about it and late-game promises he'll still take care of you even after all the stuff is bought out. Just... stop. I'm begging y'all.
