a   soft   sigh   escaped   raul   as   he   relaxed   against   the   couch   in   the   common   area.   lazily   reading   a   textbook.   he   knew   they   would   be   having   a   quiz   pretty   soon,   but   he   felt   pretty   confident   in   the   source   material   already.   this   little   review?   was   more   of   a   formality   than   anything   useful,   if   he's   being   perfectly   honest.   he   stretched   as   he   decided   to   shut   the   book,   letting   out   a   happy   groan   as   he   felt   some   of   his   joints   pop   when   he   saw   the   other   man   enter   the   area.

"leonardo,   right?   what's   up   man?" he   asked   as   he   tilted   his   head   sideways. "why   the   long   face?"

cute thought: Y/N doesn't meet the turtles first, she actually meets Master Splinter.

Something happens.

The lair is attacked and, in the midst of the fight, Splinter is taken. Badly hurt, he still manages to escape his captors and wanders the city, calling out for his sons in his delirium before collapsing.

Which is how you found him.

Walking home one night, you heard something above the music in your earbuds...a weak, frightened voice of an old man, calling out for "his sons." Something crashes in an alleyway and you follow the sound.

Admittedly, seeing a giant rat was shocking.

But this is NYC and giant rats aren't too shocking, are they? Just another day in the city, TBH. And he's so scared and so hurt, mumbling names softly...and you can't turn your back on him. Luckily, you don't live too far and you're able to help him into your apartment.

There's no calling the cops or an ambulance, obviously, but luckily you have enough first aid knowledge to help him. It takes a few days of taking care of him until the rat wakes up completely, confused and worried as he tries to get up.

"Don't," you tell him softly as you come into the room. "Don't move too quickly, you'll hurt yourself."

"Where am I? Who...who are you?"

"I'm Y/N."

And that's how you before Splinter, as learn his name, taking care of him a little longer. He likes tea and soap operas and reminds you of your grandfather with his wisdom and wry sense of humor. It isn't long until he's gathered himself enough to figure out a way to contact his sons, the one's he told you about.

They're exactly as he described them, Splinter smiling as soon as he heard movement on the rooftop, four absolutely giant turtles clambering in through the balcony window.

"Father!"

They're all around him at once, worried and trying not to cry (but definitely crying a little), Splinter comforting his boys and crying a little bit too.

And that was how you got tangled up in thier lives, befriending the father before befriending the sons.

◇ Little Things ◇

◇ You and Splinter like a lot of the same shows. Sometimes you watch together (particularly if it's a season finale or holiday special or something) but typically, you watch separately at your homes and then talk about it on the phone.

"I can't believe she tried to seduce Raul!"

"I can," Splinter scoffs.

◇ You have tea time together as well, and talk about everything going on in your lives. Even though you think your life is boring compared to his, Splinter disagrees. He's very interested in the typical life of a human, it seems so different from his.

◇ He will insist on you learning at least some basic self defense, especially in this city.

◇ When he realizes that one of his sons has developed feelings for you, Splinter is rooting for ot to happen so you can be his daughter-in-law.

◇ When it does happen, the other turtles like to joke that you're his favorite child sometimes.

I get people wanting to be hopeful.

But I can't with "it will be okay" and "we will survive this."

Or the women who have died after being refused appropriate medical care because of the rapist and his buddies that Trump appointed decided with some weird pastor in the 1600 said was more important than the lives of actual living, breathing, human beings. Or the school children who would not have been shot to death if we had actual gun control laws in this country, a thing that would have been possible to achieve if Trump had lost in 2016.

Yeah, sure, the majority of us in the United States will probably survive. That's how statistics work. And if that's what somebody needs to hear in order to move forward, then I guess saying such things has a purpose. But it's looking pretty shitty for anybody living in Ukraine and to me, it comes across as disrespectful to the people whose lives have been lost in no small part thanks to what goes down in US elections.

I needed somebody today who would say not only that this is not okay, but this is *really* not okay.

Thank you for this. I can't help but write what I feel, even if some of it hasn't been the most optimistic message to send. There is a reality that we need to come to terms with in order to find some way forward. I'm pissed off and I'm disgusted with this country, so I'm going to keep doing what I've been doing because it is therapeutic for me right now and I'm too old to go around punching and kicking people.

I do want to say that I'm also cognizant of the fact that some people just need some time to allow this reality to settle. I certainly don't want to add to the stress or darkness that some of us are feeling right now. There is no denying that this is fucking terrible, but we will regroup and find a way through it. It won't be easy and we're going to have to fight, but I don't want anybody to think that there is genuinely no hope. There's always something that we can do, even if it seems bleak.

If I'm writing something or somebody else is saying something that you're not ready to hear, it's okay to do what you need to do to remain healthy. These posts are going to be here whenever you might feel like reading them. You can and should step away from this if you just need a fucking break. It doesn't mean you're any less ready or willing to fight this battle than anybody else. Even if Trump and the rotten MAGA cult takes control of every lever of power, you can gain a personal victory by not allowing them to completely crush your faith in the future. You can be depressed and despair, but do not give up. Do not give them that power over you. We will find a way. We will get through this. We will figure out what it is that we need to do and who we need to back and how we need to attack, but taking care of your personal health and well-being is more immediately important than the bigger political battle or the next step in the resistance. Take care of yourselves first and we'll still be here and ready to eventually harness this anger and frustration and fucking disgust to defeat the MAGA movement and Trump's Christian nationalist personality cult.

The main thing, though, is that if you're really having a tough time in the immediate future, step away, take some time, go for a walk, read something that has absolutely nothing to do with Donald Trump or American politics (if you need suggestions, I always have book recommendations!), and regroup. Again, we'll get through this, and as goofy and weird and ridiculous as Tumblr can be at times, there's always a community of people on this site willing to listen and help each other when we're struggling. So, if you are having trouble getting to tomorrow, reach out because there are scores of people here who will help get there with you.

Given how thoroughly it's diffused into popular culture it's obviously not gonna go away for any reason other than being unfashionable, but I really do find that "Chudjack" grotesque.

Like, you guys know it's a caricature of a real guy, right? Patrick Crusius? A real guy who killed 23 real people?

I can't even imagine what it'd be like to have a loved one taken away from me like that, only to see their killer's image take on such a ghoulish half-life.

I am not interested in seeing memes where the icon of Patrick Crusius is depicted as a cartoonish stand-in for online reactionaries. I do not want to see subversive takes on Patrick Crusius where he is depicted as "redeemed". He murdered 23 people. He's still on trial (state charges) for murdering 23 people. On the federal level he pled guilty to 45 murder and 45 hate crime charges.

Chapter 3: An Important Call

April 1st 2018

“Ok guys, listen... We need this place decorated before Yoichi arrives, ok?” said Kaiser with a smile, the Bastard München players nodded and started to work.

Meanwhile Yoichi's mom was in the kitchen and his dad went to the store to buy the cake and sodas for the kids.

Yoichi was having lunch with Sae and Leo at his favorite restaurant. They got a private table to avoid people looking awkwardly at them while eating or anyone coming to ask for an autograph.

“So I see you are quite popular here, Ichi” said Sae with a small smirk, one that was reserved only for him.

“Yeah... I kind of hate it but it also pretty cool when I can get reservations faster just by using my name” he shrugged his shoulders “the only thing I really enjoyed and that I can't never say no is when kids ask me to take a picture with them or asked for an autograph and I love to go to the children’s hospital and spend my day there”

“You are a softie Ichi” said Sae then, they looked at Leo not eating but swallowing his food, he hasn't spoken since the food arrived.

Sae rolled his eyes and Yoichi just laughed.

“What will you do if Japan calls you to join the U-20 team?” Asked Sae.

“I don't know... Bastard and Michael asked me if I would play for Germany, I'm not a citizen of the country but if I accept they can support my claim and since I know the language and have been in the school for almost four years I think they can force my citizenship”

Leo looked at Sae then at Yoichi “in Spain, if you had stayed, you would have been able to be a citizen after five years” said the blonde teenager after finishing his food “Can we order dessert?” Yoichi laughed softly and nodded.

“Sure Leo” then he went silent for a few seconds and said seriously “I haven't been in Japan for ten years, even though I still speak Japanese, I learned about the country and my parents made sure I never forget it, I don't feel Japan as my home, also I agree with you... Japan will never win a world cup” he said the last part in a whisper, he didn't like it but it was a reality, the Japanese football wasn't good.

Sae could tell his struggles with this situation so he held his hand softly “I know it's hard but it's a truth we can't deny... My brother became weak, I thought he would defeat their mentality but no... I dribble him with ease and I'm disappointed”

“Guys... Guys... Guys... In Spain we thought the same about our team. Yeah we called it La Furia Roja and shits like that but we never compete. Our biggest star was Raul Gonzalez and he never won a world cup... But then Xavi, Iniesta, Casillas, Xavi Alonso and more joined the national team and we won the world cup and two Eurocups back to back so... If there is a generation of miracles, you can make history” he smiled big.

Sae looked stunned because never expected to be cheered up by Leonardo Luna and Yoichi was in tears by his speech.

“Thank you Leo, you are the best” said Yoichi with a big smile “you are right” 

They finished their lunch and had dessert then before leaving Sae said “I got a present for you and so does Leo” the blonde nodded and Sae handed his present first.

Yoichi held it and opened it, inside were the most beautiful cleafs. They were black with gold and red stripes coming from the heel to the outside and inside of the foot, on the inside of the foot it said Yoichi with the number eleven.

He was amazed by the details, the soft leather was polished so it looks like it shines.

“I asked a man, who was the one who gave me my first cleats when I arrived in Spain, to make them for you. They aren't from a big company but they are really comfortable and I'm sure you will like them”

“I love them, thank you...oni-chan” he smiles, he said that from the bottom of his heart. They acted like brothers but Yoichi never used the word in Japanese, it has a heavier meaning than in any of the European languages.

Sae smiled and hugged him tightly, Sae was sad that his brother didn't evolve as he wished but Yoichi’s progress made him proud like a big brother.

“Now it's my turn!” Said Leo smiling and handing him to the box he was holding. It was smaller than Sae’s box. 

Yoichi opened it and inside was a Real Madrid shirt signed by the main team and their coach, who was Zinedine Zidane, with a message on it in Spanish ‘we wish you a happy birthday, Yoichi and let's hope you return and play with us. ¡HALA MADRID!’

Yoichi was in tears reading it and watching those amazing players and coach, inside the box were also gloves for the cold and a small box of Spanish sweets.

“Thank you Leo” he hugged his best friend and after that they paid and left the restaurant. The surprise party will be at night so Sae suggests they watch a movie, they accept and go to the movies.

Meanwhile in the Isagi’s house the group of teenagers were decorating it, with the radio on so they were in a good mood.

“What are you going to give Yoichi as a present, Kaiser?” asked Alexis.

“I won't tell” he said with a mischievous smirk “you will see”  and Alexis rolled his eyes but smiled.

Ever since Yoichi joined the team, Kaiser changed, from a very dominant and mean person to a still a little dominant but kinder one. He asks for passes now and he passes the ball when he can't see a clear shot for his Kaiser Impact.

“I got him a Lego set of Harry Potter. I saw him checking it out a month ago when we were in the mall, buying new shoes for the gym”

“Which set?” Asked Ben Grimm excited.

“The Grimmauld Place, Number 12!” The Bastard München’s magician smiled big.

“Oooooh!! How cool!!! I wanted that too, you know what? I have the Hogwarts Castle set at home, during summer vacation we should plan to start to work on it!!!”

“Sounds great!!! I will ask Yoichi to join us” 

Kaiser rolled his eyes with a little smirk on his face “nerds...” But he was sure Yoichi would join them. That boy was freaky but he was adorable.

The emperor of Bastard was happy he met Yoichi, because after they became closer, his mom treated him like a member of his family, she sent him food with Yoichi and she always hugged him goodbye or after winning a match and even she hugged him when he arrived for their movie nights.

He felt loved by them. Yoichi's dad taught him how a car works and he's teaching Alexis, Yoichi and he how to drive.

And he prays every night that the Isagi family never have to be transferred again so he can keep enjoying their company. If people know this, they would think he was selfish but he doesn't care, he feels like he's in paradise so he won't lose it.

At night everything was ready so Kaiser texted Sae to let him know they were ready and Sae texted back:

Sae: Ok, we are on our way them. Took you too long, shitty rose.

Kaiser: Shut up, white rat... We did it as fast as we could. Just bring him home safely.

Sae rolled his eyes but smirk, he could tell Kaiser cared a lot about Yoichi, even more than him sometimes.

He remembers that last year's Christmas, they were visiting and Yoichi got a cold. Well Kaiser stayed there taking care of him like a guardian dog, he even missed his birthday to stay next to Yoichi.

Or at the UEFA Youth League when a defender almost left Yoichi injured, he got so mad that he earned a yellow card for protest. They replaced Yoichi to protect him for a major injury, lucky they passed to the semifinals thanks to Kaiser shooting angry Kaiser Impacts from maximum range and scored five goals in five minutes, equalizing with Noel Noa who did the same with Guardiola as his coach.

But Yoichi wasn't less protective over Michael. He remembers that at their match in the Youth League, their defender tackles Kaiser and that defender was about two meters tall and wider than a refrigerator so of course he sent Kaiser flying about a meter away from the impact zone.

Yoichi was so angry that he earned a yellow card and it could have been a red one but the referee understood his anger but he couldn't do anything because it wasn't a dangerous fault to be penalized with an expulsion but he spoke with the defender and gave him a yellow card.

After that, he took the free kick and scored from thirty meters away, it wasn't his maximum range at that time but his anger and frustration gave him the strength to shoot and score from far away.

So he could tell that those two had a special bond, even beyond friendship.

When they arrived home, Yoichi opened the door and they heard “SURPRISE!” coming from everyone in the living room. Inside they were the eleven members of the Bastard München U-20 team and Yoichi's parents.

The boy jumped happily and hugged one by one, thanking them.

“This was your idea, right?” Asked Yoichi in Kaiser's ear when he reached him at last.

“Of course, how could you think otherwise?” Kaiser smirked at him and Yoichi just laughed “happy birthday Yoichi” they looked at each other with a big smile then the other guys broke eye contact giving him their birthday gift.

That day he received Funko pops of football players, the Lego set from Alexis, more football related things, his parents gave him a new cellphone and the only person who hadn't given him a present was Kaiser who was expecting to give it at the end of the evening.

They ate Japanese food, Spanish food and German food. Leo was on cloud nine as he tries everything hugging Mrs. Isagi and crying from joy. Sae just rolled his eyes but smiled.

They played FIFA on his playstation and had a nice evening. Then all the Bastard players left after helping clean, except for Ness and Kaiser who will leave later.

Kaiser held Yoichi's hand without anyone noticing it and whispered “come with me.” The dark blue haired followed him and they headed to the garage of the house.

Inside there was an old Mercedes that looked messed up and next to it an old BMW also messed up.

“I know we earn enough money to buy a new car but… in my books, it’s way better to work on a car ourselves, I have a nice friend he will give me the the spare parts for our cars and it’s a cool bonding experience” he said smiling, Yoichi was in awe as he watched the cars. They were beautiful and classic “d…do you like it?” Kaiser asked, a little nervous now biting his lip softly.

“I loved it and I’m speechless” he turned to Kaiser and hugged him tightly, Kaiser hugged him back, they had some happy tears. Isagi kept his face on Kaiser’s neck.

They stayed like this for a few minutes until they broke their hug smiling, their face was mere inches away from the other when Ness walked in with Sae and Leo, causing the two Bastard München stars to jump away from each other.

“For fuck sake Alexis!!” said Kaiser with a little blush on his cheeks, something that only Sae noticed as well as Yoichi's blushing cheeks, Sae bites his lip to no laugh at those two.

“Wow!! Those cars look amazing!!” Said Leo with a huge smile but they need some love, right Itochi?” Sae's eyes were on Yoichi then turned to Leo.

“Definitely but I'm sure they can find the pieces, I mean those cars are German after all, right?” Alexis nodded, smiling “I prefer to buy a new car” said the midfielder with his usual cold demeanor.

“Which one will be yours Yoichi?” Asked Alexis.

Yoichi looked at them “I don't know, Michael?”

“It's your present, you pick. I'm good whichever you prefer”

Isagi looked at him and rubbed his chin them said “I want the Mercedes”

Sae smiled and patted his shoulder “those are great cars and I hope you work as good as you work on the field because the next time I see you, I hope to see some progress” and this was a double intention and Isagi knew what he meant.

Sae had a good eye so, of course he noticed that little moment with Michael. That comment made him blush, he had been developing feelings for his teammate but wasn't sure if it was a reciprocating feeling.

Then Michael and Alexis left heading to the Bastard dorms and a few days later Leo and Sae left to go to Spain.

After his birthday the months passed by quickly, Real Madrid won their third Champions League in a row and the youth team lost against Bastard in their final match.

After that Kaiser and Isagi spent their summer together working on their cars and hanging out with Alexis and some other friends from the team.

Then November arrived and the Blue Lock project started in Japan. Meanwhile in Europe things were great for Bastard, they even played matches, with the main team, against teams in the lower part of the Bundesliga charts.

“Mr. Yoichi. We are glad to have a player with an amazing talent like yours, even Noel Noa recognized that when we asked him and we are looking forward to have you in the main team as soon as possible” Isagi was on cloud nine, knowing that his idol wanted him in Bastard main team “now… we know that you haven’t played with Japan national team and you have been living here for almost 4 years now so… we think it would be great to make you a German citizen and play with our team. I know it’s a tough decision but our team is willing to do it to secure a talent player like you”

“I…I have to think about it because I’m not sure if it’s a good idea yet” said Yoichi blushing slightly looking down “but I appreciate what you’ve said about me and I’m thankful that you are considering me that important to you”

“Of course, you had proven to be a valuable part of our team and Michael Kaiser was very insistent in including you in the national team”

“I bet he did…” Yoichi sighed “…I’m just asking for time to think about it” they nodded and the boy stood up then walked out of the office where Kaiser was smiling.

“Kaiser?! What are you doing here?” Asked Isagi looking at the young man.

“I came to speak with the president, can you wait for me? We can have lunch together”

“Sure I can do that” said Isagi and sat down as Kaiser walked in the same office where he was. 

Twenty minutes later he was reading on his phone an ebook he bought about football when Kaiser walked out of the office and straight to Isagi “I'm done” he said with a smile “ready to go?” 

“Yeah” answered him, then they walked to the elevator “what did you want to talk to him?”

“About our team. We need better defenders, our sucks and thankfully, you and I score more goals but still” he sighed “it's not fun winning 3-5...”

“I get it, we have to defend sometimes and run from the defense to the attack. We have good stamina thanks to your training but still”

“Yes, you are right” they went down “he said he would look for some new defenders but the transfer market was closed at the moment and we have to wait until next year...” He looked at Isagi a bit and agreed “I feel like it's an excuse... We have an academy, aren't there good defenders?”

“Remember when I joined the team?” He nodded “you were the only one who could follow my pace on the field, there were defenders that were moving in slow motion and some of them are still in the academy so... Don't trust them. There isn't the next Philip Lamb or Matt Hummels”

He laughed softly running his fingers into his hair “I guess you are right” they walked out of the building, they changed the topic since the new defenders theme was closed for now.

They talked about their cars, the mechanic they hired to help them was working on the final details, things they couldn't do, due to its difficulty and the level of expertise required.

They arrived at the restaurant and asked for a table far from the people. The waiter nodded and led them there.

When they sat and ordered their food they continued “so the next step is to fix the imperfections on the chassis then paint it, oh and add some details inside like the dashboard, the steering wheel and the car seats need to be reupholstered” mentioned Isagi, playing with his fingers.

“I know someone who can do it” said Kaiser, noticing him playing with his fingers “what's wrong, Yoichi?”

“I... I want to repay you for the car you gave me. I know it was for my birthday but I feel like I want to do something for you...” 

Kaiser suddenly blushed softly looking at him “you don't have to... Idiot... I did it because I wanted to, you and your family are important to me” Kaiser held his hand softly “you don't have to do it. I'm the one that's trying to repay you. You gave me something I never thought I would love so much... A family and the love of a mother and a father”

“Please... Let me do it. Consider it your Christmas present them or your birthday present” 

Kaiser sighed “ok, Yoichi. You won” Yoichi smiled big, like a little kid.

Their food arrived and they ate it.

“You know, my apartment is almost done with the renovations, the guy said that I can move in on December first”

“That's awesome!”

“I know right? I already call the transport company to take my furniture there, I already asked Alexis and other guys from the team to help me”

“I can go too if you need it”

“Sure, it would be perfect” they smiled and finished their food.

Then they left for the club to practice dribbling, shooting and passing. After a shower, they went to Yoichi's house for movie night.

The next day they took the cars to do the bodywork and painting of their cars. Isagi talked to the guy in charge of Kaiser's car and asked for a deep blue painting, asked the man if the reupholstered of the car seats could be made with black with blue roses on the leather, and the dashboard decorated with golden details.

On the other hand Kaiser picked a red painting for Isagi’s car, with reupholster of his car seats could also be made of also black leather but looking like a gaming seat, because he knows Isagi loves video games and the dashboard would look like a jet from Top Gun.

They both left to continue their day as usual, it was Saturday so they will have to go to the Bastard stadium to train for their Sunday match.

7The rest of the month went by quickly, they had league matches and the champions league matches too. On December twenty-fourth they went to pick their cars.

“Yoichi and Micha. Welcome back!" said Samuel, Michael’s friend “I’m happy to have you here again. Your cars are done and Alexander and I thought it would be amazing if we cover your eyes so you can surprise yourselves when you see them” 

The two football players nodded and Isagi said “sure I like it” 

The man smiled and he covered Isagi’s eyes while Alexander, his assistant, covered Michael’s eyes. Then they led them to their cars.

Both boys were excited as they walked there. When they were in front of their cars, Samuel said “ok, on the count of three” then both men stood behind Isagi and Michael and said at the same time “3…2…1!” They removed the cloth of their eyes.

The first to see his car was Kaiser, and his eyes were wide open as he sees the beautiful blue car was in front of him, the dark blue retractable roof was down so he could see the car seats with a beautiful pattern of blue roses connected with black stem, he had teary eyes as he watched it. Samuel’s voice was explaining everything they did but he wasn’t paying attention, he was finally realizing his feelings towards Yoichi, he was in love with this man who gave him so much joys in the last three years and now this beautiful gift he just gave him was enough to understand what he was feeling.

Meanwhile Isagi was in awe as he watched the beautiful red car he had in front of him, the retractable roof also was down so he could see the gaming looking seats. They had a comfortable little pillow on the headrest and down to his neck but what made his day was the dashboard looking like a jet from Top Gun. 

Yoichi and Michael connected his eyes and they realized they wanted the same, but their common sense and self control made them reconsider the timing, it wasn’t the place for it.

They got out of their deep, almost telepathic, connection as Samuel asked for the payment, so they paid for the other’s car. Their fingers touching under the table, trying to let the other know their feelings were mutual.

After that they wished Sam and Alex a Merry Christmas and they left to Yoichi’s house, driving their cars and feeling happy about the presents to the other.

Kaiser decided to invite the Isagi family and Alexis to his apartment to celebrate Christmas and the next day his birthday and thankfully they didn’t have a match on Christmas Day so they would enjoy it all day.

The Isagi family packed their clothes and left for Kaiser's apartment which was a penthouse in a tall building in the city of München.

When they arrived Kaiser showed them their rooms because he didn’t want them to drive back home late at night. And another thing he did was hiring a chef to cook for them that night, he wanted to show love to the family he now has.

Ness arrived later and they showed him their cars, played video games and board games like a normal night. They put their presents under the huge Christmas tree in his living room.

At midnight they said their merry Christmas and Mrs Yoichi said “ok kids. As we always did the last two years, you can pick a present from the tree tonight after dinner and the rest will be open in the morning” they nodded and picked one present each and headed to the table to have dinner.

It was a traditional German dinner which was something the Isagi never had since they ate a Japanese dinner each Christmas night.

Then they ate dessert and the kids opened their chosen present.

Yoichi got a new PlayStation game, Kaiser got new headphones and Alexis got a magic set with Harry Potter decorations.

At two in the morning, Isagi’s parents left to go to sleep followed by Ness leaving Kaiser and Isagi alone for the first time since they received their cars at noon.

Yoichi was sitting on the couch and Michael next to him, they were watching a show on Netflix until Kaiser turned to look at him and decided to pause the show, leaned in and without warning, he kissed Isagi. It was slow but full of the emotions he has been feeling since he saw the car and all the little details he put on it.

Yoichi was caught out of guard but his body reacted to his lips quicker than expected, it wasn’t their first time kissing someone, at school Yoichi kissed a girl from Valentine’s Day and Kaiser had various experiences with girls since he was very popular among them but this one felt different, more meaningful and full of love.

They broke the kiss after running out of air but they continued short after recovering some air, this time it was more deeper and passionate. Yoichi moved to sit on Michael's lap as they kissed and wrapped his arms around his neck but their make out session was interrupted by Yoichi’s phone, it was Luna calling him. 

“Don’t answer that donkey” said Kaiser in a frustrated growl putting his face on Yoichi’s neck holding him closer to his chest “you can call him in the morning”

Isagi laughed softly “I can’t do it Micha” he said running his fingers into his blonde hair “he won’t stop calling until I answer” he kissed his forehead and tried stood up but the Bastard München star didn’t let him go “Michael…” he said in a warning tone, causing the blonde man to give up and release him.

Isagi giggled and stood up and answered the call from Luna who was clearly drunk and by the background noise, he was at a Christmas party. They spoke for a while while Kaiser decided to hug him from behind as they were watching the beautiful skyline.

After a while he ended the call, promising pictures of the car to Luna and Sae who will be leaving in January to go to Japan to get his passport renewed.

“We should go to sleep” said Isagi leaning on his chest “it’s getting late and I want to celebrate your birthday”

“You are everything I need to celebrate it” said Kaiser putting his face on his neck “I don’t care if we spent all day just by ourselves cuddling and watching those cheesy Christmas movies, I want them with you”

He laughed softly and said “Yeah but I want to sleep a little so I can actually enjoy them” then he continued “I never thought Michael Kaiser would enjoy cheesy Christmas movies”

“Only with someone I love” he dropped it and Isagi blushed slyly at that confession.

“I love you too” he answered, causing Kaiser to hug him tighter.

“Now I can’t let you go away,” he said as his nose rubbed his neck softly. “either you sleep in my bed or I will sleep in yours. We don’t have to do anything you don’t want to, I just need you next to me.” Isagi nodded and they went to Kaiser’s room where they slept in each other’s arms, and Kaiser finally slept without nightmares on Christmas night.

The next morning was full of light touches and sneaky kisses when we managed to be alone. Mrs. Isagi baked a cake even though Kaiser told her they were his guest guests but she told him she wanted to do it anyway. They opened the rest of their presents and had a nice, relaxed day.

They ate the cake and the Isagi parents left, Ness left with them and Yoichi promised to go later. Which was only an excuse to have more time alone with Kaiser.

Which leads them to just confess properly after ordering some takeout food and cuddling for a while. Yoichi didn’t want to leave so they lied saying they would have an early training and Kaiser’s apartment was closer, luckily, Yoichi had his gym back in his car so he could use it as an excuse for not going back to pick clothes up.

The rest of December and even January were calmer for them, Yoichi stayed more often at his place, sharing kisses without anyone noticing it. Neither of them were ready to share their relationship yet, however Yoichi’s mom knew something was off but didn’t say anything. She respects her son and Michael so she will wait until they tell her.

In February, Yoichi was at Kaiser’s apartment, and they decided to cook dinner. The Japanese boy asked his mother for an easy recipe for them to try since Kaiser needed to learn how to cook for himself and stop buying takeout food.

While they were at it, someone called Yoichi. When he saw it his eyes were wide open, so he answered “hey Sae, how is Japan?” Then turned on the speaker of his phone.

“It’s good, cold and boring” said the older Itoshi brother which made Yoichi laugh “how are you?”

“I’m good, I’m teaching Kaiser some of my mother’s recipes”

“Oh my… be careful with food poisoning. I bet he is that bad he will end up killing you” Kaiser rolled his eyes but laughed “whatever… Ichi… I was invited by Japan’s U-20 team to play a match against a team with 11 strikers called the Blue Lock Project and I told them that I want you on the team or I won’t play… so will you be my partner in this match?” Isagi looked into the eyes of Kaiser.

It wasn’t an official match and it wasn’t the U-21 nor the first team but if he joined them and realized he liked to play with Japan, he might not accept the German federation invitation to join the U-20. Kaiser clenched his fist around the kitchen knife, when. Isagi was about to answer when Kaiser spoke first “count him in, Itoshi. And put blue locks on their knees” he said with fire in his eyes, even though he won’t be his partner and surely he will prefer to play for Japan, the least thing he could do was have a victory on his debut.

This chapter took me more time than expected because I wasn’t sure how to connect Isagi with Blue Lock until this idea came to me. 

In this universe I might also include Shidou as part of the U-20 team or use Isagi in the second half. What do you think?
