So, I recently found out the mediocre 2016 Ratchet and Clank movie had a post-credits scene & it featured the franchise's best character.

Looks like he ignored the memo not to act like his old PS2 self. Unironically, the best scene in the movie & it's at the crack end of the movie.

Elaris took the "new year, new me" a little TOO literally.

Anyways, I've seen the "what if Elaris was the one that turned into a bullied supervillain robot instead of Dr. Nefarious" idea floated around but no surviving art of it so...

Behold, The Iron Empress herself, Dr. Elaris! In this universe, Dr. Nefarious is just a mildly neurotic nerd with a weird name that’s still working with the Galactic Rangers and later befriends Ratchet and Clank while his ex-colleague is building biobliterators and occasionally freezing up and playing video game OSTs out of her glass horns.

I've been sitting in my bed in complete darkness and tried for hours now to decipher what has been written here... If anyone has an enhancer better than mine I would really appreciate it if someone would send it to me then.

I know at least the poster for the Galactic Rangers says something about Dr. Nefarious and maybe a "fired" under the crossed out name and a Hologuise ad but that's it.

The 2000s aesthetic were such a thing.

Reading the Cass Wayne run from the 2000s (Silent Knight) I've come across so many advertising and promotional images from that era, and I just wish it would come back. I don't even know how to explain it, but the whole retro-futuristic grunge aesthetic comes across to me as something certainly positive despite seeing the art that went into these things being… Stale, or at least I see it as a bit stale.

It's inexplicable what I feel, but it's certainly an experience to be able to see all those promotional posters for games I loved, or games I wanted to play… As well as the style of other movie posters and the like.

Ratchet & Clank Movie Fan Script

Hello there! Do you like Ratchet & Clank? Do you like movies? Do you like reading screenplays by some nerd with too much free time on his hands? You probably said no to that last one... SO, I wrote a thing.

This script is what my..."ideal", if you would call it that, vision of what a Ratchet & Clank movie would be like. This is actually my second draft, the first draft is a little stinky. Please read and (hopefully) enjoy. Feedback is more than welcomed.
