Im battling my internal cringe demons to first of all say hello, I love Scipio he's got such a strong presence to him, I'm obsessed, I hope you have a great day.

Second, I've always had my Rook as a poisons girl, if she was an NPC she'd be spending her time between helping with training the fledglings and making poisons. The concept of her and Scipio as essentially office buddies has me cackling. Just two middle-aged weirdos gossiping at the water cooler about the hot death mage that Rook keeps bringing around.

YEHEAS OMG that’d be PERFECT??! Work besties?? Please? 🤝😭 lord knows theres enough fledglings to herd for both of them. They need desk chairs with wheels so they can roll to each others desks when one of them needs help.

Two crows trying to figure out what DOES a professional necromancer DO exactly but being too courteous to actually ask is a hilarious scenario to me 😅 surely they don’t REALLY raise the dead?? …right? 👀💦

How long did it take for Scipio to be comfortable to sleep next to Emmrich?

Cause you know... (him being a Crow should probablymeans he has some trust issues?) I am not entirely sure about your lovely Scipio, but making yourself unconscious next to someone is like the ultimate proof of trust, isn't it?

"I am making myself vulnerable beside you cause I trust you to not murder me in my sleep."

Great train of thought honestly, however ☝️😆 scipio is very comfortable and feels safe sleeping next to Emmrich immediately. Not that past lovers haven’t tried to kill him, he has every reason to be anxious but he just…isn’t. Sleeping alone quickly becomes less comfortable than sleeping next to emmrich 😅 he trusts emmrich so much he grabs that lyrium dagger out of ghilan’nain’s chest without a second of hesitation because emmrich tells him to.

But another thing idk if anyone’s even noticed; scipio is very easily spooked by sudden noises etc. 😆 would NOT fair well with jump scares. Not because of anything to do with the crows, he’s just like that.

Had my meeting with my advisors. It was, indeed, very depressing. So I finished this to force out a trickle of serotonin in my brain.

Charlot ‘Rook’ Ingellvar is my post-mortem artist from Nevarra, who can’t seem to stop painting a certain senior necromancer, even when he should be focusing on slaying two elven gods.

(My headcanon is that artists from the Necropolis paint their faces to reflect their station and skillset. Charlot wears the skull effigy to denote portraiture work; he has a gift for touching the dead and being able to recreate their image, regardless of how many years have passed.)
