Anyway, read this if you want and tell me what you think. If you like it, tell me why. If you don't like it, also tell me why.
Here you go, I guess: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bQ6g_Q51QWTJQBtVK-jqsPTd0IM51Jjx/view?usp=sharing

I wish the Star Trek franchise would've had a few canon books
#can you imagine how cool that wouldve been#like carefully crafted books not just zany pocketbooks#don't get me wrong theyre entertaining but some of them take a lot of liberties or are simply not written that well#i suppose with Trek's long history with fan fiction it's only natural for the book side of things to evolve in a more casual#and non-canon fashion but#i sometimes am envious of star wars fans that get whole ass canon worldbuilding novels#additionally i wish Roddenberry wouldve wrote more books#he obvs had a background in screenplays etc#people who guffaw at his TMP novel because of some minor liberties he took have never seen the worst of these books apparently#like I've literally read one where everyone is trying to fuck a talking animal and ur gonna tell me TMP is a bad novel lmao

I got tired of waiting for a Bone adaptation and wrote a script for the first episode of an animated series. I have too much free time on my hands.
This is incredibly faithful to the original comic with some slight tweaks and additions here and there.
Make sure to reblog, like, and share. It helps me out a ton. And feel free to critique if you'd like. I appreciate it. Enjoy!

Is anyone into writing fiction? Specifically, screen writing? I'm good with ideas, but not actually writing, I'm more of a director/cinematographer. I am looking to collaborate to make short stories into short films. DM me if you would like to talk more about a collaboration.

My First Screen Play
So last year i decided to try out writing a screen play, I have been doing a lot of story telling to myself lately, and dialogue is really difficult for me, so I decided to write something with characters that I can visibly see, and have been apart of my life for a good amount of time so, enjoy this DragonBall Z Super Fan Fiction Screenplay I created, Its my first time trying a project like this so I hope you all enjoy.

since you've already shared your opinion on thundercracker, could you please tell us your thoughts about skywarp? 🙏🙏(btw absolutely love how you draw him❤❤)
haha, hm…I don’t really care much for canon skywarp! sorry! I fell in love with this character while reading starscream fan fiction, I had very little opinion on him at all prior. he wasnt in TFPrime, and Earthspark’s skywarp was completely forgettable. yeah, I think the most ive seen of him in canon is idw1, and haha, he sure is a guy who is in that comic sometimes. he sure does shoot thundercracker for not wanting to genocide a whole city.
the fun thing with skywarp in fan fiction is his lack of any real canon characterisation means he can really be whatever you need him to be to round out your home brew seeker trine dynamic. most fics write him as the most emotionally open of the three, sorta acts like the glue that keeps starscream and thundercracker from breaking apart, sorta like their kid brother. i like a skywarp that is just a silly little guy who just wants to have a good time and actually cares about his trine and canon skywarp… decidedly is not that XD
which i guess is fair, skywarp does spend a lot of time getting betrayed by the other seekers in most media. earthspark starscream left skywarp and nova storm behind when attempting to escape GHOST, idw skywarp calls both thundercracker and starscream traitors to their face, cyberverse starscream slorped all the seekers when he absorbed the allspark, and lets not even talk about what skybound starscream did to him while he begged for his life. there never seems to be much love between the seekers in any media, despite them referring to each other as brothers, which is a real shame in my opinion. I havent yet gotten to the part in idw where thundercracker writes a screenplay about starscream and casts skywarp to play starscream, but that does sound like somethjng hilarious to look forward to, as I’m kind of just really wanting to see my boys have a positive canon interaction for once lol.
apparently skywarp features really prominently in dreamwave, even becoming leader of the decepticons at certain points?? but I don’t plan to read those comics. I did read the wiki tho, and like honestly? good for him uwu
the most consistent character traits for skywarp in pretty much all fanfiction is that he is 1) a prankster and 2) he’s stupid, or is at least thought to be. turns out both these traits are canon to his character spanning way back to his toy description!

((also thank you im glad you like how i draw skywarp ngl I think a major factor in why I like skywarp so much is because I really like my design for him, like?? am I allowed to find my own drawrings cute??? he’s so cute omg just look at him! he’s my boy!!! he’s my aaaaaahhh!!!!!!))

Happy Christmas! Now that the holidays are upon I'm desperate for reunion fics set during the 70s/80s to pass the time and enjoy some reading time! Like, I'd love to dig into long-ass fics/series. Can you recommend any?
Hello there,
I'm also about to disappear into wellness steam chamber of mixed readings, and you caught me just in time! :-)
Here are beloved stories I had to think of when reading your ask:
• The Rumours (@merseydreams). Paul reacts to the "queer rumors" John puts out during the lost weekend. He does so in characteristic fashion: fumbling, hot, sentimental—and successfully.
• Father and Son (@javelinbk). Big favorite. Set in the Brother Dearest AU, where Jim marries Mimi, and John and Paul are step-brothers and secret lovers. In this sequel, they have broken up, but reconnect after Jim dies. Heartbreaking, tense, and romantic—and great supporting roles for Linda and Mike!
• The End (@monkberrymoon). Screenplay-style story set in 1980. John hears that Paul is in New York and going through a tough time, so he decides to pay him a visit.
• Our Version of Events (@javelinbk). John discovers mclennon fan fiction in 1971, and history takes a turn.
• You Will, You Will, You Will (@eveepe). John moves out of the Dakota and reconnects with Paul...and Linda. Hot hot hot, like everything by this writer, who keeps me looking young and fresh
• February in New Orleans (@eveepe). 1975. That trip to New Orleans that never happened. John, May, Linda, Paul, and Paul's porn stache (as seen from a high vantage point).
• i can only speak my mind (@revollver). 1970's. Someone leaks John's diaries to the papers; Paul reads them. Absolutely stunning Paul POV plus John's voice in the diaries—and the two of them making each other who they are. I loved how Paul understood himself through reading.
• Down on the Farm (RosalindBeatrice). Before returning to New York City to begin recording Walls and Bridges, John meets Paul in Nashville to hang out. Set on Sunday, 14 July, 1974 approximately. Wings Paul is feeling himself; John is only human. Hot and light-harted.
Also, check out these additional recs (no overlap with the above) from the always very knowledgeable and organized @whenyourbirdisbroken: • 80's Fix-its
• John and Paul making up after the Beatles break up
• John lives and reconnects with Paul
Finally, the @beatleskinkmeme Secret Santa Collection will be revealed tomorrow, and maybe there's something there to fit your ask...?! (Not a plug: mine's totally different.)

Lol I did a rewrite
I've also included my first draft and a short as well. Please enjoy, hopefully.
Ratchet & Clank Movie Fan Script
Hello there! Do you like Ratchet & Clank? Do you like movies? Do you like reading screenplays by some nerd with too much free time on his hands? You probably said no to that last one... SO, I wrote a thing.
This script is what my..."ideal", if you would call it that, vision of what a Ratchet & Clank movie would be like. This is actually my second draft, the first draft is a little stinky. Please read and (hopefully) enjoy. Feedback is more than welcomed.
Alright, here we go. Oh God.

Love in the Big City Book Club: Drama Live Watch
Hello hello book clubbers! We are only two weeks out from the start of the live airing of the Love in the Big City live action drama. Soon we will see Young's story in all its messy glory on our screens. Here's what we know about the structure of the show:
Sang Young Park was involved in adapting the screenplay for the show (as opposed to the film, in which he was not involved)
The drama is structured in four parts, just like the book, with a different director for each part doing two episodes each
All of Young's important love interests are present in the story, with some additions as well
This show is gonna be so fucking queer, y'all
What we don't know yet:
The exact airing schedule (it starts Monday, October 21st, but we don't yet know if it will air one or two episodes weekly)
Where international fans can watch (it will air on TVING in Korea, and I am hoping we will have an international platform confirmed next week)
That said, here's the plan for book club: Mondays will be for regular show viewing. On the Tuesday after each set of two episodes airs (either weekly or every other week, depending on the final airing schedule), I will post book club specific discussion questions with an assist from @bengiyo and invite folks to post responses or other discussion through the week. We'll repost the original questions from that part of the book, plus new ones based on the drama adaptation. As always, book clubbers are invited to respond to any, all, or none of them; they're just there to prompt thinking and discussion. We'll tag all book club relevant posts with [#litbc book club].
I am including everyone from the original tag list below the cut, and will do so for all the discussion posts. If you want to be removed, or if you're not on this list but want to be added, just reply to this post to let me know. I'm so excited to watch this show with all of you!

A few scenes from the pilot of Midway that I brought to life. Read the full script for this episode and more here: https://bio.site/RiverWest
Midway starts 14 years after The OC, when Daniel Diaz, Theresa Diaz’s son, runs away with his mother from his abusive stepfather. To keep him safe, Theresa has Daniel spend the summer living with Ryan Atwood, his biological father that he never knew about—until today.
(Note: These images were created with Midjourney and feature text from the original screenplay.)

Hello! I am a film major currently and working on a couple screenplays, I was wondering if you would be okay with me writing a screenplay for Sweater Weather I would change the obvious names such as James, Remus and Sirius and I would credit your fan fiction! I also would have to change a couple things so it’s fit for screen but if it’s okay with you I would love to write a couple screenplays for tv. Not promising it will go anywhere but I feel weird writing it all without your permission! I would send you the scripts and if you had any issues with it at all I could fix it! I also won’t write it if you aren’t okay with it! I just fell in love with your story and would love to adapt it for television!
I can also send you screenplays I have previously written so you can judge my skill level. Again feel free to reject me at all! I would obviously change anything copyright as well to avoid any legal issues but if not for screen I would at least love to use it for school!
Thank you dearly,
Nora
Hi there! This is a really flattering question to receive wow!! I do have my own plans for my work, though, so please don’t use my words, plot or characters. Of course, I really love it when people write fan fiction using my characters in the Tumblr/Ao3 world, but what you’re saying is using it as a commercial idea—which I am already working on myself :)
Thank you so much for asking me! Good luck with all of your work! <3 <3
