Cooking and baking

A small pet peeve of mine with cooking and baking is when recipes say the container rather than the amount

Like, instead of saying "500ml of cream" you say "a pot of cream". Or "a whole can of corn". Like okay which kind of can??? What amount???? Corn comes in more than one size you can't just tell me a can. PLEASE i am begging you tell me the WEIGHT

This is especially a problem with recipes from different countries, for example America. Because your stick of butter is different to our butter. STOP SAYING STICK OF BUTTER TELL ME THE QUANTITY IN GRAMS PLEASE I HAVE A FAMILY

that being said I feel like I see this crop up in like american recipes in particular. Idk if I've ever seen a recipe in one of our cookbooks that does this....

anyway please just tell me the gosh darn weight I am dying here I have a family I JUST NEED TO KNOW THE WEIGHT

Although the day wasn't very good, the night was because Randy and Elspeth went out together and had a great time at the Prosper Room. He took the opportunity to propose to her.

Elspeth said yes, though she's not quite sure they're compatible. I mean, Randy is an Angler so he loves the outdoors, nature and water; Elspeth hates the outdoors, she's hydrophobic and a vegetarian. Other than that they get along pretty well, and think it's worth a shot for their little Ryan.

Shortly after Randy and Elspeth moved in together, their baby was born. It was a boy! They named him Ryan, following the Kingston family tradition, started by Roderick, of giving all male children names that start with an R.

As a bonus, l'm including this photo of Josephine, (one of Randy's daughters), and her husband Jett Atkins, with their little baby Jessica. I took this photo while testing the mod Sims Can Hand Over Babies by The Sweet Simmer, which I love because the interactions are so cute! 😊💗

🥀 I haven’t drawn Belle in quite a while. Back in 2020, I had drawn her holding Aladdin’s lamp. Quite similarly to what I do when drawing Ariel, whenever I’m drawing Belle, I refer back to drawings and scenes done by her two supervising animators, James Baxter and Mark Henn. Both animators handled Belle differently artistically. Henn mostly animated Belle while he was at Disney’s satellite studio in Florida and did more footage of her than Baxter. Henn’s scenes are of her first encounter with the Beast, her sneaking into the West Wing, the “Something There” sequence, and the Beast’s death and resurrection scene. Baxter depicted Belle as a mature and sophisticated and it proved a perfect balance with Henn’s interpretation of the character as a sweet, warm, and curious girl. 🥀
