It was meant to be a marriage of politics, and instead she finds herself as the caregiver. Surrogate mother most days.

Emperor Caracalla is sweet. Often child like. Innocent. But easily manipulated.

Emperor Geta is not as sweet or innocent. He's often angry. Hungry. Fearsome.

Both are troubled and unloved. Both somehow lean on her, and only her for their needs.

Emperor Geta loves to show her off during the day. Parade her around on his arm, dress her in the finest gold accessories and beautiful fabrics that compliment her skin. She's his after all. His wife.

But by night.

Emperor Caracalla seeks her comfort. To be held by her, while he mumbles on and on about how mean Geta is to him. She'll hold Caracalla's head in her lap, run her fingers through his hair, and she'll listen to him.

These routines have been going on for years.

Until Emperor Geta finds out that is.

Emperor Geta shouts at his brother, screaming at him like a rabid hound to stay away from his wife!

Emperor Caracalla is reduced to tears, begging on his knees to stay around her. He doesn't want to lose his only lifeline to the care, the love, and the longing he so desperately desires.

Emperor Geta throws his cup of wine at his brother. He won't hear of it. His brother's tears mean nothing to him. His begging pointless. She's his wife and he does not share with anyone!

I imagine a modern AU scenario where Vanilla is invited by Strawberry Crepe to play some video games and is interested to buy some for him and his wife, but the catch is that he is literally so. God. Awful. At almost every single genre there is to the point where it pisses Crepe off so the only kind of games he bought are farming sims. Just straight-up, farming sims. Not even a different kind of cozy game, though Crepe tried to gift him a few puzzle and rhythm-based ones just to add some variety to his selection, but it still isn't too effective because that old geezer sucks THAT bad.

(P.S. I'm not implying that farming or life sims are for losers I'm just saying that PV would definitely pour hours onto his Animal Crossing island or something)

White Lily on the other hand... I imagine her having a bit more tech literacy than Vanilla somehow (being the smart one and working as a scientist and all) and is a literal god at puzzle and rhythm games for some unknown reason to the point where even her own husband and the other Ancients find her terrifying. Not a single breathing person knows how she reached that level of skill, and that's only the icing on the cake of how eccentric of a cookie she can be. That sopping wet cat...

Hydaelyn, sighing dreamily: "Such good hounds. And so cute while doing it!"

The Watcher: "It's going to take a couple hundred years to get all this fur out of my robes..."

My brain worm recently has really been Gnarly. Like the first I heard of it I don’t know how I felt. I saw the dance and stuff and was like. “That’s cool” moved on

The next time I heard of it was ppl talking bad about it. And I was like “oh? Is it bad? Am I not supposed to like it? Do I like it? I only really heard it once so idk”

Then the dance keeps popping on my fyp so yeah at this point I’m just gonna say I like it. The song. The dance. It’s to the point where I should know it. I don’t. But like maybe one day I’ll dedicate myself to learning it. Cause like I could picture it in my heads but my brain and body don’t always connect
