This is the piece I created for the Disney feature project ‘Classic Mickey Mouse’ which I titled, ‘Mickey’s Rainbow Horizon’. It is an amalgam of landscapes from both the ‘Silly Symphonies’ musical short films and the cinematic world of ‘Fantasia’.

Uma peça que mostrasse bem a minha clavícula e, as pernas, livres. Era o que eu vestia toda a sexta a noite. E me sentava a mesa da varanda, com um copo de vinho nas mãos a altura do umbigo.

Chegava às 20:00 todos os dias. Deixava os sapatos perto da porta, a mochila na cadeira do escritório que ficava em frente a lavanderia, do lado da cozinha, passava pelo corredor, em direção ao quarto, mexendo no celular e era neste exato momento em que o cheiro de seu perfume ia de encontro com as minhas narinas. Nunca soube como descrever essa sensação.

Eram 23:00h. Amor, está tudo bem por aí? Fiz aquela sobremesa que você gosta. Diga a Helena que tem uma vida fora do hospital. A mensagem não podia demonstrar muita frustração, mas tinha de ser assertiva.

Eu queria ter filhos, quero, talvez ainda dê tempo. Queria criá-los numa casa de campo ou perto do mar, com poucos vizinhos. Talvez os ensinar biologia, física, história e como acampar no meio do mato. Livres de qualquer limitação comportamental. Livres deles mesmos. Como folhas caídas de outono, levadas a todo lugar.

As luzes de natal são tão aconchegantes daqui. Gosto das coisas intensas longe de mim. Pensar no futuro me deixa estática. Deve ser por isso que as estrelas, a luz delas, me agradam tanto: é o passado. Mesmo a 3 vezes 10 á oitava metros por segundo, a luz das estrelas que chega até os nossos olhos foi emitida a mais de, quem sabe, 12 anos. Quem eu era a 12 anos atrás?

A campainha toca. Ela chegou.
