Swtor Companions: Cuddling (Imp)
Send me Swtor requests!
Vette loves to cuddle! But she has really cold feet. She loves pressing them up against you, and it cracks her up if she can get a reaction out of you.
Quinn is your big spoon. It’s one of the only times when he feels like the powerful one in your relationship.
Jaesa wraps her limbs around you like some eldritch horror and will not let go. Not until you have her permission.
Jaesa likes to nuzzle into you, taking you in. She likes feeling so close like you’re both apart of each other. It gives her a sense of peace. When she feels doubtful, all she needs to do is tap into your emotions to feel safe.
Andronikos is a grumpy cuddler. If you move around too much while cuddling, he’ll pin you down by just lying on top of you.
Ashara always thought that cuddling was so romantic, only to find that it’s kinda gross and sweaty. She’ll cuddle with you for a while, but as soon as her hands get unbearably clammy she’s out.
He’ll pick you up and carry you around bridal style, but Khem won’t be lying down to cuddle. It’s just not his thing.
Despite her best efforts, Mako just can’t seem to stay still long enough to cuddle. She’ll always end up finding a way to move around, be it playing footsies with you, or just tossing and turning.
Cuddling is intimate for Torian, you’re 100% pressed up against each other, revelling in the feeling of flesh, of being soft and without armor.
Kaliyo will tell you to FO if you try to cuddle her.
Vector likes cuddling because he can tune into all your little biological functions. He likes when you just lie on top of him, and he’ll just listen to it all.
One of Temple’s dream scenarios is actually getting stranded with you on an ice planet and having to spoon cuddle for warmth. The thought of being your little spoon just makes her blush.

Imperial-Topaz ranks SWTOR Romances
To mark my return, I decided to do a SWTOR ranking, this time with the romances. I'm gonna stick with just vanilla ones for now, and do expansions at a later time. Also, I'm not doing any of the 'one-shot' romances, or I'll be here till the next century. Again, this is just my opinion, let me know what you think on these romances in the comments or reblogs. Anyway, this is gonna be a chonkey one, so let's get into it.
19. Kaylio Djannis
What a surprise. Anyway, she's down here for one reason in particular. She's literally the only romance option that fucking cucks you.
Yup. Honestly, Kaliyo is such an unlikable piece of shit. She trash talks you even if you're flirting with her and probably doesn't see you as anything more than a one night stand. I don't wanna look at this bitch no more. Next! 18. Doc
Yeah, you know how I feel about Doc already. The walking sexual harassment lawsuit who can't take 'no' for an answer. If you're a female knight who doesn't want to romance him (or at least wants to take things easy and not rush), you're in for an uncomfortable time. But what if you're into his flirts and return them? Is the relationship a bit healthier? I suppose, but his attitude makes it hard for me to take his commitment seriously. I just have this feeling that he'll run off to bang a hotter chick if given the opportunity. I mean, he already fled a wedding once.
So yeah, fuck Doc and his ugly ass crowbar mustache. 17. Nadia Grell
Before you crucify me, I like Nadia, okay? She's a great character. Her romance on the other hand is...eugh. There is a lot of unfortunate implications. You guys already know I'm not a big fan of Padawan and Apprentice relationships, it's just creepy for me. Also, you start romance literally after her father dies. I'm serious, it almost plays into the Sex for Solace trope. Also, the Consular is coded to be an older person, while Nadia is really young. I mean, ngl, I don't mind age difference as long as both parties are the age of majority (which, to give credit, they are) but still. Honestly, I just like Nadia better as a surrogate daughter/little sister to the Consular.
16. Corso Riggs
Yeah, Corso is...not the best in my opinion. I'll give him credit, he's got good looks and plenty of gentlemanly charm if you're into that sorta thing. But then again, his romance setup pretty much forces you to take advantage of him while he's drunk. Already that bumps him down a few spots for me. Personality wise, I find his whole 'don't hurt woman at all' shtick to get really old, especially when he does it towards women who are actively trying to kill him and the Smuggler. Buddy, you can defend yourself and still be a Gentleman at the same time. His jealousy also kinda gets on my nerves. Not my cup of tea, but I won't judge anyone who picks him.
15. Jaesa Willsaam (Dark side)
Some may not like that I put her this high, but the reason Dark!Jaesa is above the last four for me is simple: the entertainment value. Honestly, her romance is also roughly how I feel about her character: not actually 'good' per say, but so hilariously over-the-top and edgy, that I can't help but laugh. A perfect fit for a chaotic dark side Sith Warrior. However, as a genuine love interest? Not the best. There's better options you can pick for that. Also, I'm not discussing in this list Light!Jaesa, since I believe that's an expansion-only romance.
14. Raina Temple
Alright, done with the bad, now we can move onto the good, starting with Raina. She's alright in my opinion. I don't have much to say, honestly. I like her whole everywoman theme, she's cute, she's got some complexity to her, and she's not Kaliyo. Not an absolute fav, but she's good in my book.
13. Andronikos Revel
Again, not much to say. Revel's got a good arc to him: starts off casual and laid-back, but once you get to know eachother, he opens up and it becomes more serious. I also like how he's flirtatious and not an absolute creep about it...unlike a certain someone... So yeah, simple and sweet. 12. Risha Drayen
Don't have much to say for Risha, either. I like her, but I'm not crazy for her. I will admit, I do have a soft spot for the whole princess x rogue type of romance, and she is a pretty likable and personable character. I just prefer the other romance option for smugglers, but we'll get to that in a bit. 11. Felix Iresso
Someone give this man a hug, a blanket, and some snacks. He did not deserve any of the shit he went through. Hurt/comfort aside, I like Felix. He's calm, mature, friendly, and straight-forward in a good way. I know I sound like a broken record, but honestly, I am having trouble of what to say. Moving on! 10. Ashara Zavros
The one thing holding Ashara back for me is the master/apprentice dynamic. That's really the only problem I have with her romance. I just find it creepy. That aside, Ashara's pretty good. I love her character arc of her realizing the conflict between Jedi and Sith isn't as Black and White as she initially thought it was, and how it ties into her romance. I especially like romancing her with a Light Sided Inquisitor. It's just so sweet.
P.S. They did her dirty in KOTFE 9. Vector Hyllus
I know how beloved Vector is and some people are really not gonna like me not putting him the top 5. That's only because I only did his romance once. However, I did enjoy that playthrough. Vector is a very wholesome and quirky character with some interesting romantic themes. I'll have to play through him again someday. 8. Akaavi Spar
Man, I love warrior women. Especially ones who soften up over time, just like Akaavi here. I honestly have a soft spot for characters who completely wall themselves off from everyone else, but slowly begin to let other people into their boundaries as they open up. I know some people might not like me putting her over Risha, but I can't help it. Akaavi is just great.
7. Torian Cadera
Once more, not a whole lot to say, but I do enjoy Torian. His loyalty and courage are always endearing. One of my favorite moments in this game is reciting Mandalorian wedding vows with him. IDK why, but it's just so adorable for me. He, the Hunter, and Mako are an OT3 of mine. 6. Elara Dorne
Elara's romance is pretty adorable. She slowly begins to fall for you, spends time trying to adjust to a more casual relationship, and even goes out of her way to fill out heaps of paperwork and bypass regulations just so she can be with you. I love it. The one downside for me is the fact that you're her CO and she's technically sleeping with the boss. I don't hate it as much as the master/apprentice thing, but it does come a bit close. Other than that, she's great.
5. Malavai Quinn
Kicking off my top 5 is Quinn. The reason he's not number 1 is because I have a few issues with his romance. For one, you can turn the relationship very possessive and abusive as a dark side character. It's pretty scummy that the game lets you do that, and there is a sadly not insignificant amount of people who like to take that route. I won't call names, but still, it can get a bit iffy. On the other hand, if you're passive with him and respect his boundaries, his romance is considerably sweeter. It's really rewarding to see him show his undying loyalty and affection for you if you're not aggressively demanding it from him, and I love how you can rebuild your relationship after the Quincident. Really wish more people would go down that route. 4. Mako
Honestly, Mako has one of my favorite companion dynamics in the whole game, romance or not. She's charismatic and quirky gal to contrast to the generally gruff and straightforward bounty hunter, but still badass enough to keep up with them. And the romance, again, is pretty wholesome...and I'll leave it at that. Just plain cute and heartwarming. 3. Vette
Vette's dynamic with the Warrior is pretty much about the same as Mako's with the hunter. Which is why I really like her. I'm a big sucker for noble x commoner type relationships. Also in comparison to Malavai's, I like to take things slow with her, too. Instead of pushing every flirt button, it's wholesome to see her slowly come to a decision on her own and profess her love to the Warrior. NGL, though, I absolutely love how she literally jumps with joy upon being proposed to. Oh, and BioWare, how dare you make me choose between Torian and her! 2. Aric Jorgan
It's grumpy cat time. Another trope I have a soft spot for is the Defrosting Ice Queen (or King in this scenario). I love it when characters don't initially hit it off at first, but eventually warms up to eachother. Sure, when rushed, it comes off as contrived and unbelievable, but when done right, it's just amazing.
And Jorgan is just that, his friendship/romance evolution with the Trooper is a bit slow, but also believable. By the end of the story, he ends up straight up dedicated towards you. I also love how flustered he can get in romantic situations. Now if only BioWare made him bisexual... 1. Kira Carsen
@swtorpadawan and @magicallulu7 are gonna like this. Anyway, Kira might just be my favorite vanilla SWTOR companion. Playful, snarky, but still goodhearted and brave. And throughout the years, she'd still remained a favorite, both character and romance wise. I know, master/apprentice stuff, but I never see the Knight as her master. I see them more as Jedi partners (and perhaps more) if anything. I really like how you do help her overcome her past trauma and develop into a more responsible figure. Honestly, making her Bisexual in Onslaught was a chad move...if only BioWare did that for other companions. Conclusion
Holy fuck, that was a lot! Either way, I hope you guys enjoyed this ranking. If you disagree, please don't flame me for my opinions, or else I will cry. instead, tell me how you'd change the rankings and what your favorites are.

Despite things seeming to have ended between Vhespasian and Raina (and having gotten a decidedly non-romantic final conversation), I logged in today to find the game had sent her romance letters.
How odd. And awkward!
I guess since I triggered the romance, the game still considers it active?
Okay, whatever. I’ll just weave it into his story that things between them are... uncomfortably ambiguous. 🤔

That was a blast! I wonder what's that weapon that Heta is building. Is it related to force sensitivity or the typical super weapon bs? I hope the former, especially considering that this update introduced us to a new character that is neither Jedi nor Sith nor any other Force Religion member, Petra Nihrum - who is just a citizen of Ord Mantel who so happens to be... a force sensitive scoundrel? It's hard to pinpoint her class, but this is so cool. We are finally seeing someone who can use the Force but is not part of any side! We had some fraction of it in Raina Temple, who also is force sensitive, but the difference is HUGE. Staggering! Raina's ability to use the Force was small in comparison to Petra, who seems to have the typical familiarity with the Force that you usually can see in Sith and Jedi, who in most cases train since a very young age to be able to even lift a rock (Jedi Class Stories even show us initiates who struggle with lifting it). Petra reminds me a lot about Sith Inquisitor who as a slave would lack the background that Sith Warrior, Jedi Consular and Jedi Knight have in regard to training in the force. Sith Inquisitor is probably the only class that can't say they had formal training, but still present a staggering familiarity with the usage of the Force on the same level as Petra. I always loved this in SI's story because it implied that someone can use the Force but not know they're using the Force for the most of their lives and treat it as just some random ability they simply possess. Exactly like Petra! I hope we will see more of her in the future, because I got attached.
But it's not all. Sa'har finally TALKED TO US! I was wondering if we ever get a chance, because every time I tried before something just had to interrupt, or she just ran away. But now she talked to me, and I'm not as paranoid as Krovos to assume it was all just a part of a plan to fool me and do something to me. I don't think Sa'sar is the type to try to pull something like this off. She sounds genuine as far as I can tell. Also that scene when she just panicked in front of us? I was like "Is it a thinly veiled foreshadowing that I will become her new Master?" Like seriously, I wouldn't say no to training a new Padawan after I did the same for Ashara, but considering that the game is not told from the force sensitive perspective unless you play the class that is, there is a very small chance that we will be presented with such an option.
But damn how much I would want to raise another baby Jedi.
Anyway, there is one thing that bothers me tho. Not in a bad way, just in a suspicious way. That closeup at Sa'har's face at the end. After the warning from Krovos this closeup just feels fishy. I don't think they're trying to tell us that Sa'har just successfully fooled us, but it kinda felt sus after Krovos and her paranoia. A more logical assumption is that she is now in a tight spot. She just lied to her own brother about what she was doing (basically covering for both herself and us) and she is now once again in the center of everything, because she assumed a role in this that is more than it was before. At first, she was just going with the flow. Doing whatever Heta wanted, but now she made a step in our direction that made her more of a traitor than her unsuccessful attempts to sabotage whatever Heta was doing. Not to mention that she also had what that asshole Tyrus said in mind. It's possible that Sa'har will have to fight her own brother, and this is probably why she seemed so troubled, but... also determined to end all of this once and for all. I'm not sure if she believes she can liberate her brother from under Heta's influence. If she still has hope. But the last frame with her brows going down, it felt like she was determined to do something.
BTW I hope Shae enjoys her vacation, because the moment it was shown that she went missing my first reaction was "oh she got angry and vent on sabbatical to do something crazy". Like there is no way something happened to her. It's far more probable that she just went off the deep end and is training somewhere, or decided to invest in stealth and become a spy master that tracks Heta's every move from the shadows before she inevitably strikes like a vengeful cobra.

Who does Risha wind up with in your Kine legacy? What about Raina?
Thanks for asking @swtorpadawan!
Risha ends up in a surprisingly happy and stable marriage with Duke Rineld in my Kine Legacy. With the backing of my Voidhound's (OC Temeli Izuni) criminal empire, Risha also does ascend to the throne of Dubrillion with the Duke. It certainly wasn't an easy transition for Risha but it turns out that noble politics and backstabbing are quite similar to the dealings and backstabbing of the galaxy's criminal underworld. She went on to outmaneuver many royals while maintaining a strong connection to her friend the Voidhound's organization.
Given Risha's background and the paranoia and caution that Nok instilled in her, she was able to keep Dubrillion neutral in the War against Zakuul and avoided the canon Sacking that Vaylin conducts.
The one major failure / loss that Risha suffered as Queen was the theft of a massive safe that held off the books funds used by both the throne of Dubrillion and the Voidhound. The theft was led by Olaum Kine who harbored a long standing grudge against the Voidhound for betraying his mother, Kelsa Kine, and selling her out to the SIS.
Currently, I don't have Raina in a relationship with anyone be it an OC or NPC (although at one point I did toy with the idea of her being the biological mother of my OC Olaum Kine)
What I do have is that post class story, Raina Temple and her mentor Cipher Nine (OC Keras'eren'naru) leave the wider galaxy to give the Black Codex to the Ascendancy. For her actions in helping to bring the Chiss such a resource Raina is, like her mentor, taken as a merit adoptive of House Miurani.
Raina and Keras'eren'naru would continue to act as agents of the Ascendancy in the wider galaxy, completing various assignments to further Chiss and Imperial interests.
During Zakuul's invasion of the galaxy, Raina served as a Chiss liaison agent to the Wrath (OC Amarra Kine) who was acting Supreme Commander of Imperial Forces. After Zakuul's victory, Raina would once again return to the Ascendancy but still sent Chiss intelligence reports on Zakuul to the Wrath who was, alongside Lana Beniko, laying the groundwork for a resistance movement against the invaders (which would go on to become the Alliance).
Raina would officially work alongside the Wrath and Alliance for a final time in 38 ATC when the Ascendancy was attacked by the Harla Vong (a Yuuzhan Vong splinter group that only worshiped Yun Harla). She was present for the Harla Vong's final defeat and the effective death of the Alliance in 39 ATC.
After the brief but devastating war with the Harla Vong, the Ascendancy chose to withdraw from the rest of the galaxy and used the Black Codex to wipe all information about how to find them from the Empire and Republic. Raina would remain with the Chiss and eventually settle down for a more stable life.

you know what i don’t think ensign temple has ever met another miraluka, before lyde. i don’t know that she’s ever heard of a miraluka. miss born on dromund kaas, raised an imperial fugitive and then gone to work for the chiss for ages. it certainly adds another, funnier dimension to all the dialogue where she’s like “sir pwease don’t tell anybody i’m force-senstive q-q” while lyde is looking at her like. Babe Don’t You Even Worry About It. Solidarity
#the reason lyde herself was never under the same scrutiny is because her mother was a powerful sith#and her father was on the emperor's honor guard#after her sister ran away lyde's piece of shit darth grandad was gonna send her to korriban to basically get her killed#without needing to do it himself & then put pressure on his daughter to give him some do-over grandkids who would make better apprentices#but lyde's mother managed to narrowly convince him that lyde would do more good to the empire by joining the military#and then eventually intelligence#WHO SHE WOULD GO ON TO BETRAY!!!#HAHA SHOULDA KILLED HER WHEN YOU HAD THE CHANCE FUCKERRRRRR#raina temple#imperial agent#oc: lyde aniteon#swtor

Swtor Companions: Kissing (Imp)
Kissing with Vette is fun, because even though it’s sometimes sloppy, or with a little bit of drool, you can always laugh about it after. Also lot’s of tickles with kisses.
Quinn is rather conservative with his kisses, but he will perform his duty diligently if asked. Very sexy kisser, watching you squirm as those kisses stray from your lips.
Jaesa will bite. She’s very rough, and likes it if one of you is being pushed up against a wall. She isn’t afraid of a little blood, the taste of it on her tongue drives her wild.
When you kiss, Jaesa likes to reach out in the Force and ‘feel’ you. It gives her a bit of a thrill when things are getting hot and heavy, and makes her feel comfortable. It’s almost like she could sink into you.
He’s not really into make out sessions, but every once in a while Andronikos will kiss you like his entire galaxy. Most of his kisses are given lazily, when you two are just enjoying each other’s company.
Like Nadia, Ashara isn’t really sure what she’s doing. Instead of responding awkwardly though, she tries to make up for it with some enthusiasm. Sometimes she’ll go in for a kiss, and completely miss your lips. Very cute, cause she’ll just try again.
We all know Khem does the kissing here, little Sith.
Mako is a tease. She’ll lean in for a kiss, but instead you’ll be getting a nose boop. You’ll have to hold her still to get a proper kiss out of her.
Kissing for Torian is intimate. You’ll be spending a lot of time touching foreheads and holding hands in between kisses, because the physical closeness deepens your bond
Kaliyo likes making out with you in public. You guys both know you’re the hot, and you’re not afraid to flaunt it in front of others.
Vector tries to show his appreciation in the little ways: forehead pecks, cheek kisses. These kisses are usually accompanied with some hot beverage he made after a rather tedious mission.
A romantic, Temple enjoys the sweet, lingering kisses. They make her all tingly, and bonus points if you caress her face too. Then she might be liable to melt.
