Back up and running! A Decauville built by Tom Cooper after he parted company with Merlin in the mid 1980’s. Company was called the American Locomotive Company Ltd and was based in Llanfair in Wales.  Chassis is based on a Merlin design but with different cylinders and dual safety valve boiler built by his son.  His foray into model steam building was short lived and business closed around 1986 or so. After a little fettling engine runs well! Bought a few weeks ago here at Bygone Treasures and now full steam ahead!
