John & Jessica are back in the deluxe living room of their deluxe Manhattan apartment high above Lexington Avenue. Just like Christmases past. And like people all around the world, they are beginning their celebrations while at the same time preparing for for the big day on Monday. The music on this week’s show is mostly traditional, performed by a mixture of new and traditional artists. We hope all of our listeners are enjoying the holiday season and we are grateful that you are spending part of it with us.

Peggy Lee
I heard this earlier on KCCK, Radio Deluxe, a replay from last summer when I heard it for the first time. It reminds me of everyone I've ever known named Johnny ... or Linda... Peggy or Lee, for that matter. I've known a few...

“Oh dear, I’m afraid we’ve come to the end of our time.” dumb rambles under the cut
so it’s not a fully fledged idea, but the more i think about this the more amused i am by a we happy few tsp au. there are two directions that could go—my first idea, which is that narry dragged stanley and the player into we happy few the same way he did portal, minecraft, firewatch etc etc. of course the world itself is empty because it always is, but instead of hearing his voice in your head all the time he would purposefully make himself heard through the speakers or through a glitching television. (this is my personal favorite bc i can totally imagine narry going full drama kid with this one, even though he hates open world games. (“At least this one is sensible enough to lock off certain areas. God forbid you wander off!”)
and of course the second idea is just an au where they live in that world, probably with narry being a replacement for uncle jack and stanley for… arthur, probably? maximum shenanigans ensue.

Rob Zombie - Dragula 1998
"Dragula" is a debut solo single co-written and recorded by American rock musician Rob Zombie. It was released in August 1998 as the lead single from his solo debut studio album Hellbilly Deluxe. Since its release, it has become Zombie's most recognizable song as a solo artist. It is based on the drag racer "DRAG-U-LA" from the 1960's sitcom The Munsters.
The Hot Rod Herman remix version of the song appeared in the 1999 film The Matrix. It was later heard in several video games including Sled Storm, Jet Set Radio, Gran Turismo 2, and Twisted Metal 4. In addition, the latter franchise featured the original version in the 2012 reboot and in Fortnite Festival. The song is featured in the films Idle Hands and The Watcher, and in the TV shows Daria, King of the Hill, Alias, The Flash, and Echo.
"Dragula" received a total of 76,2% yes votes!
