I hate how Sandra Lee has become this meme. If you look in comments on YouTube vids of her, it’s people literally trying so hard to throw shade and be mean to her that they end up looking dumb themselves. Someone was like “what does she have against measuring things?”…no one measures in cooking. You only measure when you bake. Rachel Ray, Julia Child, and many more didn’t measure out ingredients either.
I feel like making jokes or memes are ok, but people take it too far to the point where you can tell they just missed the entire point of her show. Her show wasn’t meant to be gourmet cooking. It was meant to be something to get people who didn’t cook into cooking, and teach them how to easily make stuff they could be proud of. It was for single mothers, poor mothers, college kids, disabled people, etc. Sandra came up with that style of cooking as a child. People try and play in her face but that lady worked hard and pretty much raised her 4 younger siblings. The stuff Rachel cooked in her 30 minute meals seemed more intermediate level, and could look intimidating to someone who’s never cooked before. That show seemed more geared to people who already knew how to cook and wanted to cut down on the time spent cooking. Then people come for her tablescapes; what happened to fun? Sandra’s show is also about teaching people how to host and decorate. That’s what she originally wanted to do - an arts and crafts style show.

ENTRY 305
She's more known for her recipes but years ago, I saw this make-up segment on one of her shows and I've been keeping a small bag of these items with me ever since. Helps if you're in a bind and don't have everything with you! More thoughts later.
Rachel Ray's S.O.S. Make-Up Kit
1.) Mini Make-Up Bag
2.) Lip Gloss
3.) Mascera
4.) Concealer
5.) Brow/Eye Pencil

The Curse Review: "Green Queen" Shoots for the Stars and Delivers
What goes up must come down. Right?
Episode 10 of The Curse (A24/Showtime) begins with a celebrity cameo: Rachael Ray. Say what you will about her, I’m as big a sucker for a good guest spot as anybody else is. Not all are created equal. Some are met with confusion, others, derision, but I’m a fan when the celebrities play jerkier versions of themselves and this did not disappoint. Outside of giving Whitney (Emma Stone) and Asher…
