First and foremost, I want to say sorry to those who have played the demo version in the past. After a long period of reflection, I chose to remake all the drawings of the Faceless demo to sync with the art style of the final game. I also renamed the demo game to Faceless - Prologue because this part's story happens before the Faceless game. So I hope you will take some time to play Faceless - Prologue before playing the official Faceless game! - Nguyet | KCA leader
- SUMMARY -
A little girl is lost after sleeping for too long at the nursery. Can you help her find her way home?
Many dangers await her on her way, the dark creatures are always ready to consume her small spirit. On this journey, she got a question and gave a promise, but could she remember them until the end?

Game update: I'm still alive, out of hiatus, doing a whole bunch of stuff. There's still a lot to do but we're getting closer to the finish line πŸ’ͺ
Most of the things I'm working on remain spoilery. But I am putting aside some less spoilery stuff to see if I could do a stream working on them. I will post an announcement here & on Twitter when I get round to making that stream happen.

#Dungeon Meshi#laios touden#marcille donato#chilchuck tims#senshi#animation#game dev diary#Please give a huge hand to my coding partner#who labored for over two weeks to figure out how to implement reaction animation for the battle icons.#You may also notice that I updated the battle portraits from my previous post! New and (mostly) improved!#The death screens were not changed because I didn't think they'd get used for this video.#But Chilchuck getting one-shotted and leaving due to this being outside of his pay? Accidental comedy gold.#The full sprite (I didn't realize the bottom third would be hidden) says: β€œNOT PAID FOR THIS”#And yeah he's smoking. He gets a smoke break as part of his contract. Let a guy have his vices. He's teetering on a divorce.#Dungeon Meshi would be a fun rpg in theory but it would need to have immersive mechanics like cooking and foraging.#And hunger and fatigue and other status effects.#A slightly more lighthearted fear and hunger sort of game.#But that is for some other fan to do. This is just a fun tech demo for us to learn RPG maker!#So...with this mini-project concluded#we now have a foundation we can pass over to our actual game!#Next game dev post will be some game assets (probably busts and battle icons for the main party)#And after that! Most likely some more sprite sheets (I have made a few more since my first attempt)#Thank you for everyone who has been rooting us on since I started talking about this project. It means a ton B'*)

LIFE ETERNAL, the atmospheric walking simulator game about a necromancer raising his dead lord, is coming to Steam on December 27th!
Wish list it here!!
The game will still be free, but being on Steam, it has the added addition of achievements! Did you read all the books in the tower? Well, now you can AND brag to your friends with a shiny achievement!
Though the game is short, it has spawned a lot of ideas where I could take the story farther. So if you want to see what ultimately spawned Forevermore, please check out Life Eternal!

an omori au project i had that is now lost media
around a year ago (maybe more) i started this one omori au fangame with rpg maker 2003 that took all the info found about the unused content and used it in the plot, sadly tho my laptop's battery inflated and i had to return it which lead to losing all work put into it, so now its nothing but lost media
i have various clips but tumblr doesnt load them, so here's the screenshots

Demo update!

Hello everyone! I'm finally back! RL kept me pretty busy (problems with anxiety AND with a broken pipe in the bathroom) but I was able to update the demo. Well, I also made general progresses (half of the third floor is ready, and the third floor is huuuge) but we'll talk about them in the next devlog.
What I changed, added or revamped: - Revamped all the sound effects. I tried to get rid of all the RTP sounds. (Some survived, but I pretty much changed everything). And I added a lot more. - Added various BGS for water, background and ambiental noises. - Now the inventory is split in two parts: one for objects, one for books/lore/memos. - A couple of new cutscenes. - A little tease for the future: you'll be able to find a new object and see the entrance of a new area (but this will depend on your, uhm, approach). - A new mini puzzle. - Various new flavour text on the first floor - and a couple on the second, but I plan to add more! - New objects to find Β (and a new book).
If you still haven't tried the demo, now it's a good time to give it a chance! Meanwhile we reached 100 dls, and I'm super happy. Thank you so, so much <3
Also, a little shout-out to Tridium who kindly proofreaded the demo, and to Caramel who made some wonderful fanarts for the game on her IG!
