It has just occurred to me that tumblr's mascot should be a tumbleweed. Think about it:

We're considered a ghost town by the rest of the internet.

Everybody has seen posts (tumbleweeds) from here even if they don't know where they come from.

Tumblr people can seem quiet for long stretches only to descend en masse on topics of interest.

(imagine this house is Dracula Daily or Goncharov)

And of course because it's only one letter away from tumblrweed!!!

One of the most common questions I get about my games is "can I play as this? can I play as that?", and I'll level with you: basically every game I write is about a narrowly focused experience, so if you're the sort of player who's afflicted with the contrarian urge to insist on playing a character who's the exact opposite of whatever type of character a game is notionally about, regardless of what type of character that is, you're probably not gonna have a good time.

my DND character just tried to solve a mystery by finding a spider and then asking her what happened. unfortunately she is a spider so she extorted an insect meal from us in exchange for this information but we weren't sure how to obtain one so I cast dancing lights to try and attract flies but then our tabaxi character failed to catch one even rolling with advantage AND with guidance cast so our bard had to make a lamp using minor illusion and our halfling took some sticky sugar candy out of her pocket and a fly got stuck to it.

and then the spider didn't know anything anyway

“so what g/t thoughts do you have about your fav character?” thoughts? thoughts???? i do not think about my Blorbo. i see them and my vision goes black and when i come to i’m gnawing on my phone like a hamster on a wooden doorstop. “g/t thoughts” i can’t even see a good edit of them without screaming and wanting to throw up and you assume i’m capable of thinking of them as a giant? i’d combust. i’d burst into flames so hot that i’d self cremate and take out half the living room as well. there are no g/t blorbo thoughts here. there is only fangirling so intense that i don’t speak in words, but rather screaming so high pitched only dogs could hear. god forbid what kind of rabid creature i’d become if i thought of them as a giant.
