MISSION COMPLETE: Remorseless Bounty Hunter

Y'know that idea I had earlier? I wrote a shitty drabble for it

Master Bounty Hunter, remember how it goes.

Henry forced himself to stay focused, despite just having the wind knocked out of him.

“C’mon, on your feet,” the gruff voice of Reginald’s Right Hand Man told him. Henry scrambled up, facing the cyborg with renewed ferocity, as he gave the line that brought Henry to the next options, “I’ll give ya one shot~”

Cheap Fighting Combo, Self-Destruct, Rock Paper Scissors, Dance-Off

Ignoring the temptation of the Dance-Off in favor of his own life, he pulled the Cheap Fighting Combo; a series of uppercuts and low blows that followed RHM up the ramp of the rocket like a fighter-style game. But something strange began to happen around him as he did. Henry felt the world around him freezing. Glitching.

Something’s going on with the timeline… No, focus! Focus on the choice, dammit!

As he finally stopped his attack, the familiar words came from the redhead.

“Ngh… my cy-y-y-yber… ne-ne-netics…”

Henry grabbed him as he began to power down, before hearing that familiar line that reminded him that his job wasn’t quite done.

Finish Him, Rewire, Dance-Off, Ocarina

With the world frozen around him, Henry knew what he had to do. But for some reason, he hesitated. He realized something. He realized how valuable Right Hand Man was as an asset, but he knew he couldn’t take the older man with him…

Unless…

Oh my god. I know what I did wrong in the rewiring!

Henry quickly chose Rewire, then as he rewired RHM, he looked up at the rocket. He stepped back as the cyborg awoke, his eye now bright blue.

“Henry! We gotta put a stop to these Toppats! C’mon,” the redhead urged, and Henry and him took the familiar flight up to the top of the rocket, crashing through one of the windows.

“Hold it!” RHM yelled at Sven, who jumped and looked at him with a mixture of fear and confusion. “The Toppats are finished! You’re not going anywhere…”

“What is happening…?” the blonde questioned, looking between his former leader and Henry.

Shit! Before he converts him back!

“Kill him now, Right Hand Man!” Henry ordered, and instantly the cyborg’s arm morphed into that familiar laser canon, pointed directly at Sven.

“Copy.”

“N-no, wait! NonoNONO DA-”

The cannon fired, cutting off Sven's panicked yelling as the top half of his body was instantly vaporized, leaving his lower half to fall and lay on the ground. It was overkill, sure, but it worked.

Wait.

It worked. Oh my god, it worked.

“Right Hand Man, get us down to that announcement tower!” Henry ordered from him, and again, the redhead flew them down to their destination, crashing seamlessly through the window once again.

“Quickly, announce to all the Toppats to surrender!” he demanded, stepping back as RHM activated the PA.

“All Toppats, surrender now, I repeat, surrender now!” The announcement rang loud over the speakers, and Henry could see all the Toppats below looking around in confusion. He could tell they wanted to know why Right had the sudden change of heart, but eventually they all began to lower their guns, before raising their hands in surrender as the soldiers swarmed them.

“You won’t need this anymore…” he decided, snatching the hat off of Right’s head and stuffing it into his bag, just as a precaution. “C’mon, looks like our job here is done.”

The two headed back down to the crowd, Henry keeping his hand on Right’s shoulder and glaring at any soldiers who pointed their guns at him. Eventually, they reached where General Galeforce and Charles were, just off the rocket’s boarding ramp.

“General,” Henry and RHM chorused, saluting. Henry glanced at the cyborg, impressed with how much he’d apparently learned just from the rewiring.

“Henry, I see you’ve managed to convert two of these bastards, somehow,” the general began, earning a confused look from the tall cyborg.

“Uh, two other guys, don’t worry about it,” Henry murmured to RHM.

“I think we’ll head on back to base now, maybe get the big guy fixed up better. He seems to be a good partner for ya.”

On a whim, I poked my head in on the O'Mackey family and saw they were in the midst of some Riverblossom Hills Witch Project shit. Love that for them.

Love me some good angst/comfort so I was thinking bll character/s some kind of scandal with some actress or whatever and the reader just kind of goes into their own headspace pretending that it doesn’t bother them but they can’t feeling like super down. Like they eat less, go out less, go back into unhealthy habits, cut people off, are more quiet than usual while still trying to remain as ‘normal’ as possible. And they just generally are less of themselves that they usually are. And when the character/s talks to them about it they kind of snap at them because they’ve been anxious all this time so they can’t help lashing out. And in the end both parties are talking shit over each other until one of them leaves and yeah then I don’t know how people actually make up sorry. Just a thought tho no pressure. Have a nice one.

Ok, I have 3 days of RBH's to make and post today to make up for me missing the past 2 days. So, let's hit the road!

Random Batfam Headcanon's #22: The Adoption Habit Trilogy!

The Batkids have unknowingly inherited Bruce's patent for Adopting things, but the things they adopt are vastly different.

Dick: he has a bad (or sometimes good) Habit of Adopting new hobbies and interests at the flip of a dime. This is most likely just his old circus lifestyle + his ADHD catching up to him in his older years, but he can't keep still or do any 1 career for too long without it being monotonous. The only exception is Vigilantism because each night is vastly different than the night before.

Barbara: Babs has the habit of adopting the many regulars at Gotham Library as under her protection like Jason with Crime Alley.

Jason: He, ironically enough (and never let Jason or Bruce hear this), is the most like Bruce, because his adoption habit is ALSO towards traumatized orphan Kids (and normal kids with a little bit of a sad life. We don't judge), except he's set his scope a lot smaller than Bruce's in that he tries to limit his range to just Crime Alley. Of course he fails spectacularly and has a small caballe of International Children he's picked up on missions living together in Crime Alley, always having their various apartments directly across the street from his most secure Safe Houses. He also has an inexplicably near-complete collection of every variant of Jane Austin Novels.

Tim: Tim Collects Photos and used Coffee Cups. Does he also only save those coffee cups so he can extract the persons DNA into a vast database of his so that he may clone any of the Batfam (or all of humanity if needed) in case of world disaster events? Don't worry about it :)

Steph: Steph is probably the most normal when it comes to her Adoption/Collection because she has a very vast collection of random knickknacks that she's found or acquired over the years.

Cass: Cass has been testing out her sowing skills alot and so has conducted her own small game at her apartment in Korea (not that she doesn't bring it home to Gotham with her). And that's the fact that she's begun swiping up damaged bits of everyone's costumes after fights, and just random weapons or costume parts that the Batfam leave around the Manor, and she takes them back to Korea to stitch all the random pieces back together into her own version of the Batcave's suit display cases. So far the only suit she hasn't been able to start is Barbara's Batgirl suit design, but even then she's looking at that display case every time she's visiting like Indiana Jones trying to steal that golden statue.

Damian: Damian, Being both Bruce's direct blood relative and being raised by the Eco-Terrorists that are the LOA, adopts any random animals he can find, especially those that have naturally occurring Bat Shaped Birth Marks.

Duke: Duke is the kind of Whippersnapper to collect indie Rap mixtapes. You know, the ones from up and coming rappers who stand outside a 7/11 trying to sell anyone their debut mixtape for only $9. He has a pretty vast collection.

Project RBH Devlog 0032

Not a whole lot to show this week but I do have something interesting.

My first automatic drone!

This little guy shoots at any enemies that get close enough, though it’s shooting range and aggressive range aren’t the same as you can see here.

It’s based on the Level 2 Bubbler from Cave Story, though for accuracy I need to tweak it a little so that the bullets reach a complete stop before deleting.

You may have also noticed something unusual about the spread of the drone’s shots. Namely, the fact that there’s a spread to the drone’s shots. That’s right, I’ve added bullet spread to the game! Specifically, to this one drone and nowhere else, though that may change.

It’s pretty simple, actually. I randomize a variable between the negative and positive of a number, (in this case, randomized between -5 and 5) and then add the random variable to the Direction variable that determines where exactly the bullet flies. This also means that I can do some magical maths to make drones more accurate as a possible upgrade.

There’s a little bugfixing I have to do with these drones, but overall I’m quite pleased with how they’re coming along.

“I’ll try… Is that why Andy hates me the most…?

“... No, Andrew… he hates you for… for a different reason…”

“What’s the reason, then…?”

“It’s… best we don’t talk about it…”

“Oh, right, got it… I’ll just… avoid him, I suppose…”

“Probably a good idea… in fact, just avoid anyone that hates you most. It’ll be better for both people involved…”

“Gotcha… but… you don’t hate me, do you Henry?”

“No, of course not, Right… You’re my best friend.”

my friends left after that n I took a bus to AEON mall (a huge mall chain in Japan). I wabyed 2 see if a clothes brand I like had anything good but rbh everyrhing at that location sucked ToT I wallked around the mall for a few hrs tho and it was fun :D When I was looking for the station (and going the wrong way.... I fohnd a bookstore !!! n jt had hgsn for like ¥680 I think? its crazyyyy bcs I could buy four of those for the same price as getting one back home. I got v5 :D

im home now n resting my feet bcs they are DYINGGG. Over the past three days jve gotten 40,000 steps, n going from being very lazy all day at home to soooo much walking is taking a toll on my legs

Okay so its my blog and i feel like im literally the only one who cares about monster hunter over here in my blorbosphere (i need more monhun friends rbh) BUT!!!!! I need to scream.

I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT THE DRAGON HEAD THING AND THAT WILDS HAD 6 DRAGON HEADS THUS CONFIRMING *IT* AS MONSTER HUNTER 6 RATHER THAN RISE BEING MH6 SO RISE IS STILL ACTUALLY A GEN5 GAME AND THAT MAKES ME?! SO HYPE?!?

I mean, to be FAIR I will take monster hunter regardless because i just love it oh so much (and would love to try and play the older titles on my pc maybe if i can find out how) BUT OHHHHHH MY GOSH im so excited for another game with the amount of passion and care and EXPANSE that world has?!? If they go in that direction WHICH I FEEL THAT THEY WILL! Cause dont get me wrong, LOVE RISE TO DEATH (currently replaying it on 2 different save files one with light bowgun only and one with whatever weapon i want) buuuuuut rise’s story was kinda sorta nonexistent and i miss the tracking a bit and getting to thuroughly enjoy the expansive areas and whatnot.

I, uh, restarted Haley. It's hard bc I truly struggle with how earth the colors of RF are while SDV has very bright and blinding colors (it's love for its game but rbh i always mod the colors lmao).

Also I went way too heavy on the shading. The art is incredibly minimum with shading.
