It's all I wish to hear tonight, and you're all I wish to be, and this is how we all fall - Chapter one
Summary: It's the Garvar fic! Wdym you want a summary? It's a retelling of the first chapter of kotlc from Garwin's pov. That's--that's pretty much it. We do have them interact which is pretty nice. There will be more loosely connected chapters to come but I don't know how many or how they'll turn out. Word count: 2730
TW: swearing, drug mention, mentions of kidnappings and murder in relation to the Sophie/Fitz interaction

If there’s one thing universally agreed upon by high schoolers, it’s this: field trips are fun. Or at least they should be, in theory.
Instead of being locked in a classroom for eight hours a day, you get to go outside, cause some havoc, you know, the usual.
Your other teachers end up being nice because you cried to them that between all your classes and this field trip, you need an extra week on that paper that you’ve had assigned for three months and you haven’t started and is due tomorrow for a reason.
And, most of the time, as an extra bonus, you learn absolute jack shit.
The only problem arises when the teacher that is taking you on the trip seems to forget that part and forces you to actually pay attention with the threat of a quiz, and knowing him, he’s going to make it absolutely horrendous.
Yes, dinosaurs are badass but having to listen to your teacher read the plaques out loud makes gouging your eyes out seem like a good course of action.
Are we completely sure the teachers here have a 100 percent literacy rate? Garwin wonders, rolling his eyes as Sweeney struggles through another scientific name. I mean, knowing this school system, it would not surprise me.
There’s a couple of nerds taking notes but honestly there’s no chance. If there is a quiz, it’ll be the type of thing that’s “What year, exactly, did the cretaceous era end?” And the multiple choice options will all be around that 66 million years ago mark ingrained in everyone’s soul but you have to remember that science was able to determine the meteor fell on a Thursday and from that you have to extrapolate what the date would have been.
Can a meteor fall on us this today Thursday? That’d be great. No more AP exams.
And yeah, AP classes are supposed to have a curve, but with that little photographic memory of Dophie’s only half paying attention and half listening to MCR so loud it can be heard from three miles away, she’s gonna get a perfect score.
Case in point: Sweeney finally hears Gerard screaming and catches onto the fact that Sophie is completely ignoring his existence, per usual.
“Miss Foster!” He yanks her earbuds out by the cords. “Have you decided that you’re too smart to pay attention to this information?”
Well, she can probably legit get a zero on the final and still carry a 93 in the class. So I’d probably say the answer is yes. I think we all know that little smartass corrects Sweeney on a daily basis.
Between the typos and the shit he gets plain wrong, it was entertaining to see him flounder at the beginning of the year, but at this point she doesn’t seem to grasp the idea that everyone’s given up on the lost cause of a man.
This entire class has all had to suffer through more school than she’s been alive. Other than the dumbass sophomores in the class. But it wouldn’t be surprising to find out they were smoking weed in the back of class for a “science experiment.”
Ah, the things you can get away with in AP Enviro Science and a teacher that doesn’t care. Except about the toddler in his class who listens to music but hey. Maybe he’s insecure because he’s stupid and he has to maintain control over some aspect of his life.
Sophie mumbles something, denying it as she attempts to retract into her shell like a turtle. Unfortunately, humans don’t usually come with a shell, so she isn’t very successful.
“Then perhaps you can explain why you were listening to your iPod instead of following along?” Sweeney dangles the headphones in front of her as she rips out an eyelash.
Now, Garwin may have only gotten a 2 on the AP Psych exam last year because he only paid attention half the time because those daily quizzes were ass, but that doesn’t seem like the healthiest of coping mechanisms.
Sophie simply stares at the ground to pretend like Sweeney isn’t harassing her.
“Since you’ve decided you’re above this lecture, why don’t you give it?” Sweeney asks, gesturing to the definitely-accurate reconstruction of an orange hadrosaur. “Explain to the class how the Lambeosaurus differs from the other dinosaurs we’ve studied.”
You see, one of these was the Pteranodon family’s neighbor on Dinosaur Train. Larry Lambeosaurus was an endless pit that never seemed to fill with food, much like the average teenager. Unlike the average teenager, however, this may have something to do with his diet of tree and its caloric density, or lack thereof.
Instead of listening to Sophie rattle off dinosaur facts learned from a lifetime of being a fucking nerd, Garwin chooses to look at literally anything else for some scrap of entertainment.
Like, for example, the Albertosaurus. And imagining it coming to life and eating everybody à la Jurassic Park. That would be fun.
Sweeney gets increasingly pissed off as she keeps going. He really should’ve learned long ago to not challenge her ‘cause it ain’t gonna go well for him. He mutters something under his breath, and turns to go to the next increasingly stupid dinosaur.
Actually, Garwin takes that back. The dinosaurs themselves aren’t stupid. It’s the whole idea of having to get dragged to a place to forcefully learn about them instead of actually studying for the AP exam in less than two weeks. Not that he actually cares about that though.
“Nice job, superfreak,” he says to Sophie as she stands helplessly in the middle of the walkway. He pushes past her in an effort to appear engaged enough to not get another detention. “Maybe they'll write another article about you. 'Child Prodigy Teaches Class About the Lame-o-saurus.’”
Garwin’s gaze lands on someone reading the newspaper with Sophie’s face plastered across it. Yeah, the guy’s kinda cute with dark hair and teal eyes flicking up at Sophie ever so often…but, like, he’s probably freshman-ish years old and that’s kinda weird in the middle of the school day, not gonna lie.
And he isn’t in this class, that’s for sure. So he’s probably ditching. Kind of a dumb move to ditch and then go to a museum but hey. That’s his life choice and it’s not Garwin’s fault it’s stupid.
Garwin rolls his eyes as he moves into the next room. The desire to cause large amounts of property damage by climbing up the statues is immense, but, alas, one cannot succumb to temptation.
Their resident curvebuster doesn’t follow, and, honestly, that is a choice. Maybe if she gets eaten by a dinosaur or kidnapped with the guy pulling a Ferris Bueller, this class might know peace once again.
A not-small part of him could not give less of a shit if she disappears suddenly, and another not-small part of him can’t help but see the advantages. Maybe then we won’t all fail the class. It’s not like San Diego City College is going to miss her. Chances are, she’ll be the same to her unfortunate classmates there.
As the group shuffles around a reconstruction of a Triceratops, Sweeney begins droning on and on and on and on about the different types of ceratopsians, and it’s a damn fucking shame the one with three horns became famous instead of, like, the Kosmoceratops.
That fucker’s got fifteen horns and it’s common knowledge that an animal’s coolness is exponentially correlated with number of things that it has that can kill you.
In order to quell the rising tide of complete and total apathy, Garwin once again begins the search for something--anything--interesting to occupy his time.
And don’t you know it? There’s a hot guy hiding in a corner trying desperately not to be seen.
Between him and the kid reading the newspaper in the other room, something weird is definitely going down. So the obvious course of action is to walk up to the guy and see what’s up. Maybe even flirt a little. As soon as he can escape from Sweeney’s torture chamber, that is.
In the meantime, Garwin can still stare at him. He has dark hair gelled to perfection and light blue eyes. His eyelashes are visible from this massive distance away, so they must be super long and therefore super hot. Garwin’s fingers ache to trace his sharp square jaw and his skin is a light tan with a dusting of freckles for good measure.
In short, he’s absolutely fucking gorgeous.
He’s way too far to be certain, but he kind of does look like newspaper boy…for reasons that are as of right now indescribable other than sheer vibes.
And he’s wearing a black batman sweatshirt--a foolish decision on a partially sunny day such as today--that hangs in such a way to suggest he’s got some muscles hiding beneath it.
The world would be improved in many ways if that sweatshirt was a little less on.
Then, suddenly, by some miracle, some grace of god, Sweeney lets them explore for themselves. An argument could be made that he realized that no one was paying attention, but the more likely case is that he got tired of teaching and is now allowing them the slightest sliver of freedom to maximize his own laziness.
Garwin floats over to the guy in the corner as nonchalantly as possible as his traitorous heart is doing backflips in his chest. He was tall from a distance, but he’s even taller up close.
“Hey,” he says. Hey? Hey? That’s the most creative thing you could come up with? A cheesy pickup line would be better at this point.
“Hey yourself.” Guy-in-the-corner says with the slightest hint of a smirk. “I’m Alvar, what’s your name?”
Garwin is almost too distracted by Alvar’s thick accent--almost British, but somehow crisper--to remember his own name. “I’m Garwin. It’s nice to meet you.”
“Do you really think they looked like that?” Alvar asks. “The dinosaurs, I mean. It’s a little absurd, isn’t it?”
“Would you rather have the nerd answer or do you want the smartass answer?” Garwin replies.
“Who says I don’t want both?”
“Ah. Well then. The nerd answer is that at least some of them should have feathers. They are the ancestors to birds, after all. The fact that none of them do is a little yikes. And as for my other answer, I’m not a paleontologist, but,” Garwin points to a fossilized sauropod…or at least a skeleton of one that may or may not be real, “that one might be a tad bit skinny.”
Alvar laughs, a glorious sound. His eyes wander away from studying Garwin, focusing out of the room, landing on Sophie fucking Foster.
Ah, yes. First she gets into Yale without even trying and now she’s gained the attention of multiple people which depending on the intentions could be really fucking creepy. She’s literally twelve. This is complete and utter bullshit.
“Is that the kid on the front of the newspaper today?”
    “Yeah,” Garwin replies bitterly.
Alvar makes a thoughtful sound and looks back at Garwin, who has begun leaning against the wall. Yes, there’s a plastic fern between them but you do what you can.
“Come on, Fitz. Don’t be a total dumbass,” Alvar whispers as newspaper boy--Fitz--begins to step away from Sophie.
A swarm of kindergarteners barreled into the exhibit, nearly knocking both Sophie and Fitz off their feet. They hold their heads in their hands like their brains are physically getting stabbed and when they make eye contact again, Sophie watches Fitz in fear.
Why that is, Garwin can’t tell, but there’s something in Alvar’s expression that seems like he suspects something, and Garwin would give anything--except a full ride scholarship to Yale--to know what he does.
In the time Garwin spends studying Alvar’s features for clues and getting lost in his eyes, Sophie has magically disappeared. Fitz swears, probably loud enough to be heard all the way at the zoo across the street, as he runs after her.
Alvar rolls his eyes. “Life choices. Do I run after my dumbass of a brother or do I leave him be? Decisions, decisions,” he asks himself.
    What the fuck?
Garwin looks back at Alvar to find him already watching him. “Would you like me to go tell Sweeney or just…let her skip class?” And probably get murdered just a little bit.
It takes a good few seconds for him to process this request. “Eh, I’m sure he’ll notice sooner or later.”
Oh my fucking god this guy is fucked up. I don’t like Sophie, but I’d rather she not get kidnapped.
…Is it bad that he's still hot?
“Why the fuck are you two harassing Sophie?” The question comes out more forcefully than Garwin intends, but not enough to walk it back.
“That is one very long story and I don’t think you’d believe half of it. But let’s see--how simplified can I get this?” He pauses, formulating. “We’ve basically got a switched at birth situation going on here except we don’t exactly know who her actual parents are and well that’s a whole thing that I’d rather not get into right now. Also we don’t know if she’s actually the kid we’re looking for. And by we I mean mostly our dad but he isn’t here right now because he figured it would be less creepy for us to stare at children than he would be. And then Fitzy over there doesn’t know I’m here for extensive and even more complicated reasons. And he wasn’t supposed to interact with her. Problems all around.”
Garwin considers this explanation for a moment. On the one hand, it leaves him with more questions than answers, and on the other hand, he doesn’t really care enough to ask for further elaboration.
“Just don’t murder Sophie. I don’t need to see her on the front cover of the newspapers that should already be obsolete two days in a row,” he decides.
Alvar smiles. His teeth are brilliantly white, and it’s ever so slightly crooked in such a perfect way that makes it seem practiced. His cobalt eyes fix Garwin to the spot as they turn toward each other.
“And, um, before I go, I do immensely apologize if I’m reading this wrong, but would you like to go out with me sometime?”
“Why the hell else do you think I wandered over here? Absolutely.”
Instead of giving Garwin his phone number like a normal person by writing it on a sticky note or the back of his hand with a sharpie that doesn’t come off for a week or just directly typing it into their phone, Alvar comes equipped with a stack of business cards.
And honestly, it’s not even that surprising. Like, yes, he’s only known the guy for a grand total of fifteen minutes, but that tracks with what he knows so far…which isn’t much. But it still counts. Bitch.
Garwin smiles. “I’ll call you and set up details when I can look at my calendar and I’m not already busy with club meetings and shit.”
    “Sounds good.”
After a short pause, Alvar opens his mouth to say something else, but he’s interrupted by Sweeney’s nasal whining before he gets the chance.
Garwin rolls his eyes. “I guess I should get back to the fucked up reality that is the American school system. See you later.”
    “Bye,”  Alvar replies, smiling.
Garwin makes his way back to the class reforming around Sweeney like a slime mold, taking his sweet time to not seem too eager to be going back to the hellhole that is occasionally referred to as a school but not dicking around so much he gets left, as making his way back there himself would be mildly inconvenient.
And we can’t have that, now, can we?
Garwin looks back into the corner to sneak one more glance at the indescribably attractive boy who has for some reason asked him out only to find that he’s nowhere to be found.
Was he just a figment of my imagination?
Garwin checks his back pocket, hissing as the sharp edges of a business card leave him with a paper cut.
    Guess that solves that mess.
Now if only all the world’s problems could be solved so easily, we’d be onto something.

'for me the worldbuilding is sprinkled throughout like fun little garnish' but what if it's CHARACTER RELEVANT
Like how it's mixed with the thoughts of the character's pov? What you're getting feels more like character content than worldbuilding content but it's still worldbuilding! It's the character experiencing the world! I'd argue that plasticity and homemade dynamite both have a significant amount of that
so, this is what i meant when i said i'm not always 100% sure what people mean when they say they like a lot of worldbuilding. worldbuilding defined as "details given about the world around the character, how the world functions including culturally, socially, economically, etc, and how the character interacts with their world" should be automatically baked into most of a story, and i think it would be really hard to write anything at all in a fantasy setting like naruto without including a lot of worldbuilding even by accident. like if you have a character use a credit card without really thinking about it? congratulations, you've implied A WHOLE BUNCH OF THINGS about your setting even if you didn't mean to!
deidara's internal monologue in homemade dynamite both works to showcase his opinions on things and also the fact that his opinions are very strong and often ridiculous and self-absorbed BUT ALSO worldbuilds by doing things like contrasting konoha and iwa. tori's adventures in orochimaru's lab worldbuild ninja science and fuinjutsu and oto itself while also fleshing out tori's character and personal development and ALSO give insight on orochimaru's character. tori and deidara trying to make sense of foreign admin systems both worldbuilds how those systems work and explores the characters' approach to things like problem-solving and dealing with authority. this is what i meant by sprinkling worldbuilding in like a fun garnish: it's really hard not to include worldbuilding details, and also fun to sprinkle them in!
but some people seem to approach worldbuilding as separate from narrative-integrated details. i think we've all read fics where everything stops so the writer can explain in-depth how something works regardless of how relevant it is to the characters' actions or thought process within the scene, or a scene where characters take a break from whatever they're doing to quiz each other on how tax law works or something. the scene in homemade dynamite where sasuke asks why not everyone just moves things with storage scrolls approaches this sort of technique-- it's not really relevant to anything else in the story except that it gives itachi an opportunity to roast daisuke, but it fills the reader in on limitations of storage scrolls just for the sake of doing that (and maybe pre-empting questions about why we don't see this come up more often). i've even seen fics with side-fics or series of blog posts that's just world details the writer couldn't fit into the main story. to expand the metaphor, this would be like if your worldbuilding was served to you has a side-dish.
the first worldbuilding technique (fun garnish) i'd argue is basically inevitable, and i'd suggest every writer be aware that this is happening even if they personally don't want to lean into it. i am generally impressed by narrative techniques that can do like seven things at once, so being able to convey a lot of worldbuilding details via garnish is my preferred method. this isn't to say presenting a reader with a lot of side-dishes is bad-- some people like sides more than the main course! sometimes it's just easier to add a little side somewhere than to figure out what you're going to do with this garnish! side-dishes can be good and fun and interesting! i don't mind them and sometimes like them, i just personally prefer fewer sides and more garnish in my reading experience.

The Meadow of a Fluffy Sheep: Entry 4
This week has been pretty eventful. I visited an ethical pet store and got to pet puppies. They were so small and cute and precious. I absolutely adore puppies, they’re one of our favorite things in the world. I made tuna casserole and did my homework. A highlight was that I got first place in our science quiz game twice in a row, out of a class of over 30 people.
I met with the gender clinic, 16 months after I had gotten on the wait list. The wait time was so long because it’s the only pediatric gender clinic in the city I live in, and there were about a thousand kids and teens in front of me. I’ve wanted top surgery since I was 12 because I have severe gender dysphoria and after meeting with the gender clinic I'm a lot closer to top surgery than I was before, which is a huge, massive, enormous deal. I am extremely happy about this.
I went to my school’s theater kickoff event. I'm doing crew, making sets and running things backstage and all that. My friends are there and it was really great to spend time with them. Theater is something I've been looking forward to all summer because I want to hang out with my friends and be part of a goal (the show) together. At the kickoff, I learned about the production we’re doing, ate pizza, and spent time with my friends.
Something I'm proud of myself for is getting all our assignments in on time and working hard on them. It’s only the second week of school, but we have 100% in all our classes because I've been putting in effort and we feel proud about that. In my entrepreneurship class, I'm working on my business idea, which is a dog breed consultant website. Essentially, people who are in the market for a dog but don’t know which breeds would be best for their lifestyle can pay to have me ask them questions about their lifestyle and what they’re looking for in a dog and I will help them narrow down suitable breeds. My entrepreneurship teacher says he loves my idea. This is an idea I’ve had since I was 11 but I didn’t have the time or resources to implement it. I'm looking forward to putting it into action.
I had a job interview and it was my first one. The job was requiring too many hours to be feasible with my school requirements so I wasn't able to take the job, but I think we did okay with the interview. It was a big milestone, to have my first job interview, and I was nervous.
I'm camping right now and we have a wall tent. It’s a big canvas tent set-up with a wooden platform and raised wooden frames to set up our sleeping pad and sleeping bag. It’s nice that it’s not too hot and there aren’t mosquitoes out. I went hiking and it was very pretty.
I had a really pleasant and deep conversation with one of my friends and it was so reassuring and positive. She made me feel loved and cared about and I love her very much. I'm super grateful to have her in my life.
Thank you for reading, see you back here next week.

A quick note about pronouns: when we use the pronoun “we” or another plural term we’re referring to all of us or multiple of us, and when we use the term “I” or another singular term it means whoever is fronting is writing about just themself.
This week has had a lot of ups and downs. Some really great things have happened for us, but it’s also been difficult in some ways.
We visited an ethical pet store and got to pet puppies. They were so small and cute and precious. We absolutely adore puppies, they’re one of our favorite things in the world. We made tuna casserole and did our homework. A highlight was that we got first place in our science quiz game twice in a row, out of a class of over 30 people.
Something difficult from this week was that we had a lot of touch cravings. We were touch starved as a child and so we sometimes get touch cravings and always want to be hugged and held by our friends, so we have to limit ourselves so that we don’t become socially inappropriate by initiating too many hugs. We haven’t really had touch cravings like this for a while, and we’re not entirely sure where they’re coming from. We were also not doing well mentally one night and three people were coming to us for support. We tried to support them because we didn’t want them to feel alone, but that resulted in us feeling more drained. We tend to be the therapist friend. Some of our friends checked in on us and made sure we took care of ourselves, which we really appreciate.
We met with the gender clinic, 16 months after we had gotten on the wait list. The wait time was so long because it’s the only pediatric gender clinic in the city we live in, and there were about a thousand kids and teens in front of us. I’ve wanted top surgery since I was 12 because I have severe gender dysphoria and after meeting with the gender clinic we’re a lot closer to top surgery than we were before, which is a huge, massive, enormous deal. We are extremely happy about this.
We went to our school’s theater kickoff event. We’re doing crew, making sets and running things backstage and all that. Our friends are there and it was really great to spend time with them. Theater is something we’ve been looking forward to all summer because we want to hang out with our friends and be part of a goal (the show) together. At the kickoff, we learned about the production we’re doing, ate pizza, and spent time with our friends.
Something we’re proud of ourselves for is getting all our assignments in on time and working hard on them. It’s only the second week of school, but we have 100% in all our classes because we’ve been putting in effort and we feel proud about that. In our entrepreneurship class, we’re working on our business idea, which is a dog breed consultant website. Essentially, people who are in the market for a dog but don’t know which breeds would be best for their lifestyle can pay to have me ask them questions about their lifestyle and what they’re looking for in a dog and I will help them narrow down suitable breeds. Our entrepreneurship teacher says he loves our idea. This is an idea I’ve had since I was 11 but I didn’t have the time or resources to implement it. We’re looking forward to putting our idea into action.
We were struggling in school one day and I don’t remember exactly why. I think it was because we were having touch cravings and also because we were worried about if we did something wrong with our friend, and more that I can’t remember. We listened to music to cope with our feelings and once class started we were able to pause the music and pay attention in class and we’re proud of ourselves for that. It might seem like a small thing, but when you’re mentally struggling it feels big.
We had a job interview and it was our first one. The job was requiring too many hours to be feasible with our school requirements so we weren’t able to take the job, but we think we did okay with the interview. It was a big milestone, to have our first job interview, and I was nervous.
We’re camping right now and we have a wall tent. It’s a big canvas tent set-up with a wooden platform and raised wooden frames to set up our sleeping pad and sleeping bag. It’s nice that it’s not too hot and there aren’t mosquitoes out. We went hiking and it was very pretty.
We’re going to tell one of our friends about our attachment issues tomorrow because she’s become one of our attachment figures because of how kindly she’s treated us. We think it would be useful for her to know and we want to let her know that if we do something that makes her uncomfortable or if we become too obsessive she can always set boundaries and say something and we will always respect that. We’re a little nervous because we don’t want to scare her away. She’s been a super great friend to us and we don’t want to lose her.
Thank you for reading.

103. Boyfriend from 27000 BC 3.27/10
104. Get that Bigfoot out of my face 3.05/10
I just realized when I copied this that were at 104 episodes lol
Anyways it’s not really a surprise that Dude Were Getting the Band Back together is at #1 so far. Really good plot average and really good song score help with that obviously. I think every episode in the 9s definitely deserves being that high up. The Lemonade Stand was interesting in particular because of actually got the first perfect plot score with a 10/10 average.
Tbh it was a surprise that Bigfoot is still the lowest scoring episode because my bro and I don’t even actively dislike it (unlike some other episodes near the bottom). I blame the doof plot it makes me uncomfortable and there’s nothing else in the episode to really to save itself from that blow.
ALSO IM SO SORRY ISABELLA AND THE TEMPLE OF SAP I REALLY WANT TO LIKE YOU SO BAD BUT YOU JYST DONT MAKE A VERY GOOD PHINEAS AND FERB EPISODE (probably because it’s a back door pilot so tgat score kinda makes sense in the grand scheme of things
what's your phineas and ferb episode rating
Oh boy I’m so glad you asked this with 0 prompting!!
Decidedly the infodumping is going to go UNDER the cut lmao
Since sometime in late May (I don’t have my notebook to check when exactly) my brother and I have been watching every episode of Phineas and Ferb in order to score each individual episodes to rank them!!
We just watched We Call it Maze // Ladies and Gentlemen, Meet Max Modem! last night and have ranked a little over 100 episodes total!!
The scoring system works like this:
We score each individual plot of the episode (usually A, B, C) and then average them for the “Plot” score. We do it this way because it is of my own personal opinion that the best Phineas and Ferb episodes have 3 distinct plot lines that are all equally focused on and overlap in how the episode is resolved. The plot score makes up a total of 50% of the final score making it the most important.
Songs get their own category that is worth 30% of the final score. This is the second most important because songs are a significant part of every episode (especially if it’s 11 minutes) and also very important to the show as a whole. For the most part of there are multiple songs then we average the score. Exceptions being if the songs are noticeably different lengths (Secret for Success comes to mind. For that episode we took the ratio of how long all terrain vehicle was compared to the other song in the episode (I don’t remember what it was)). This hasn’t happened very much. For episodes without songs that 30% is redistributed to the other 3 categories because we didn’t think it was fair to give those episodes a 0 (especially rollercoaster which would have gotten a maximum of 7/10 if not done the other way).
The next category is “Rewatchability” or maybe more appropriately named the bias score. My brother and I watch a LOT of Phineas and ferb and there are episodes we gravitate towards a lot. Additional points can be considered if the episode is “iconic” for one reason or another and even if we don’t personally rewatch it as much as another episode the score won’t suffer too much. (Iconic in this case meaning an episode that you would maybe show someone who hasn’t seen the show so they get a good feel for it or understand a common reference). Rewatchability is only worth 10% of the final score.
Final category is Bonus points! Also worth 10% my brother and I both take note of any bit/detail we particularly liked (or didn’t like) and assign a positive or negative value to it. We then take the ratio of positive to negative and that’s the bonus score!!
I’ve been taking hand notes in a journal I got for my birthday that I’ve barely used since and my brother takes digital notes! I keep the overall ranking digitally though :)
We also sometimes have different opinions and so far have just been averaging our two scores if that’s the case.
Since we’ve finished season 1 I do have statistics for that season and plan to do that for the whole show!! I also have separate rankings for just season 1/2 and the whole show.
Uhhh I’m not going to put the ranking here (I’ll do it in a reblog) because I’m worried of I get out of the app this whole post will delete itself so I’ll post this part but I have more to say SJFJFJDJK

Teach Me Something
Tumblr media
I am slowly but surely making my way through the requests that I have and I am sorry that I suck at writing them, but here this is. Also, ignore the fact that this can’t actually happen how I have it set up, but I started writing the beginning and really liked it and then looked up more information about the Stampede and didn’t want to change it (don’t judge me).
Thank you, thank you, thank you to @luvsherleafs for reading through this and helping me figure this out, you are an absolute angel human and I appreciate you.
Here is the original request! Hope you like this!
EDIT: Read the other parts: part 2 // part 3 // part 4

“Alright, I need you guys to start cleaning up, the bell is going to ring in five minutes! Beakers in the cabinets, lab goggles away, paper towels in the garbage. Lab calculations are due at the start of tomorrow’s class, and you have your nuclear quiz when?” you yell to your students as they finish up their lab.
“Wednesday,” some of your students answer.
“Cooper and Eugenie, when is the quiz?” you say louder, trying to get two of your students to stop distracting each other.
“Wednesday,” they chorus, the rest of their classmates running around the room trying to get everything away.
“That’s right!” you say with a smile, trying to keep your teacher face on for the last few minutes. It was the end of the day, and you had to get home and change before you went over the Stampede for the show that night. What sucked, was that instead of doing just a July week of shows, they decided it would be fun to do a preview night for some groups in March in some tent instead of outdoors like normal, overlapping with your school year.
The bell rings, your students scrambling to get out the door. “Bye, guys, see you tomorrow,” you say as they scurry out, saying things like ‘thank you, bye Ms. Y/L/I, see you tomorrow.’ You sit down at your desk, letting out a long sigh as the sound of students in the hallway gets louder from chatter, lockers, and overall high school chaos. Going through your lesson for tomorrow, you get lost in typing out your plan that the administration wanted to see, finishing the worksheets that you needed to print, and figuring out what other prep you needed to do before leaving for the day.
You lean back in your desk chair, debating whether or not you should send the worksheets to the printer now and make the 100 or so copies you needed, or come in and do it during your prep that you had first period tomorrow. “Hey Ms. Y/L/N, any chance you could tell me about capillary action?” you heard a familiar voice say from the doorway.
“Considering you learn about that in Biology and I teach Chemistry, I would say no,” you laugh, getting up to go greet your boyfriend, closing the door behind him as he steals your desk chair. “The US education system failed you, didn’t it?”
“Well, it’s not like I paid attention in science anyway,” he shrugs, “But what are you doing tonight?”
“I’m out tonight,” you say. You and Matthew had only been dating for about two months, and you still hadn’t brought up that you were one of the dancers with the Stampede. You didn’t know why; it just never came up. “Why, what did you have in mind?”
“The guys and I were going to go out for some Flames promotion thing, I wanted you to come.”
“If you guys go out after ten, I can try to catch up with you, but I also need sleep with school tomorrow,” you say as he pouts. You also needed more money, but that wasn’t something you were about to tell him. You ruffle his curly hair, him swatting your hands away as the pout turns to a smile. “You can come and make copies with me if you want. You have to wait to leave right now anyway, the buses are still outside,” you tell him, sending the documents to the printer down the hall.
“Do I get to press the buttons?” he asks like a child, getting up to follow you down the hall.
You start walking, the sound of your heels echoing through the hallway as Matthew trails behind you, some of the students trying to figure out what he was doing in their school in the first place, him not knowing where he was going with you. “No, the thing is ancient and I don’t trust you not to break the one copier on this floor because then I’m the one who’s responsible for fixing it.” He starts to pout again, following you into the room with the copier. “Ok, then do you want to fix it when it stops working?”
“That would end well for no one,” he says, looking down at his shoes.
You can’t help but laugh as you go to start making the first set of copies that you needed. You sit down at the table in the center of the room, taking Matthews fidgeting hands in yours. “So, how did you even get into the school, to begin with? I didn’t know you were coming to tell the office.”
“You’d be amazed by what you can do when you’re a professional athlete. I just said I was visiting you and they told me I could go once the bell rang,” he shrugs.
“That is an issue on so many levels,” you say, him just smiling and kissing the back of your hand.
“Eh, well. Are you sure you can’t come out with us tonight? The guys love you and I think you’d have a really good time tonight.”
You hear the copier stop, groaning as you get up to make the next batch. You could have just queued them all up at once, but that would make the copier angry. “What are you guys doing?”
“It’s Flames night at the Stampede, so a bunch of us are going.”
You stop what you’re entering into the copier, thankful that your back is facing Matthew. You should just tell him you were going to be there tonight, too. If you told him you were going to be there with other friends from work, that wouldn’t be a lie. Why weren’t you telling him in the first place? Maybe it was because you were slightly upset that you had to have two jobs just to make ends meet while he was living a life of luxury on one paycheck. But at least both jobs were ones that you loved, so that made things a little better. “Oh, cool. I’ve never seen one of the shows there, actually,” was all you could get out. That wasn’t totally a lie; you couldn’t see the show when you were in it.
“See, more of a reason why you should come out with us tonight!”
“I said maybe. That’s not a no. Now come on, I need to get home,” you hand him the stacks of paper to bring back to your classroom.
“Can we at least do something tomorrow night?” he pleads, putting the papers down on your desk.
“I need one copy of these in the yellow and orange folders and one copy of this one in the pink folders, and one copy of this in the blue folders,” you instruct him while you check to see if you have another rehearsal or anything that you need to be at tomorrow night. “But what do you want to do tomorrow night?”
“Uh, well, I was planning on getting in an early workout with Noah and Johnny the next morning since we have a late flight to Colorado so nothing that involves anything late,” he says, trying to concentrate on putting one piece of paper into each folder. “Why do you do this again?”
“Nothing late is the best, so I’m down for whatever.” That also, hopefully, meant that it was something that involved little to no money being spent, “And it helps me know who is missing that day or just didn’t take their papers and it helps them make sure they get their papers. I put them out before each class and they take them when they walk in.” He just shrugs, not completely understanding the method to your madness, but it worked for you and your students, so who cared? “How much time do you have before you have to meet the guys?” You ask him, even though you really don’t have time yourself.
“I gotta run; this was the only time I had to see you, so I wanted to come by,” he says, putting the folders in neat piles, handing them to you.
“That’s so sweet. I feel like we haven’t gotten to see each other a lot lately, with the season picking up and all.” You put the folders on one of the counters in your room, dropping the two on the top.
As you bend down to pick them up, you hear Matthew exhale, “Is it bad that all I can think of is picking you up and doing some very bad things to you on that counter?”
You turn around, pretending to be disgusted. “Matthew! The students leave their water bottles here!” you squeal, thankful that your classroom door was closed since students were still roaming the halls. “That might be something we can do tomorrow night, just not on this counter.” You pack your computer in your bag, grabbing that, your keys, and Matthew’s hand to drag him out of the school before he says anything else that shouldn’t be said around children.
“Can I at least kiss you in the parking lot?” he whines.
“Nope, my spot and therefore my car faces the track, some of my advanced kids are on the track team and I do not need them bringing up my romantic rendezvous with my boyfriend in class tomorrow and for the rest of the year. But where are you parked?”
“I ubered. Can I get a ride?” he says, giving you the puppy dog eyes that always made you say yes to him.
“Get in, pain in the ass.” You drive him home, the entire drive spent with him constantly begging you to go upstairs with him, but you really did have to get home and change. “I’ll see you tomorrow. Your place or mine?”
“Your pick, just text me when you decide,” he says, leaning over to give you a kiss. “Wait, are we far enough away from the school for you to kiss me now?” he teases, ghosting your lips as a mischievous smile dancing across his face.
“Shut up and kiss me,” you say, taking his face in your hands, kissing him instead.
“Are you sure you can’t come upstairs for just a minute?” he begs once he pulls away, his forehead against yours.
You wanted to, but he did say he had to run and you definitely had to get home and change. Looking at the clock out of the corner of your eye, you had about an hour to get home, get ready, and get over to the grounds before the parking was so full that walking from your car to the grounds would be considered your warm-up. “I’ve really got to go,” you say.
“Fine. I’ll see you tomorrow, though,” he says, giving you another quick kiss before getting out of your car.
“Yeah, bye,” you call as he runs inside. You did have to tell him eventually that you had another job, but he was going to find out tonight anyway. Would he be mad that you kept something like this from him, especially when he told you that he was going to be there tonight and you stood there and didn’t say anything?
You spend your entire drive home freaking out a little. This is a pretty big part of your life that you hid from him, especially since dancing has been part of your life for as long as you could remember, but you just couldn’t figure out how to tell him you needed a second job to live. What if he hates you because you’ve been keeping part of your life a secret from him? No, he couldn’t hate you, could he? Not for something like this. In all your freaking out, you completely mess up your makeup. Frustrated and in a hurry, you now had to completely redo your face in what would be record time, or be late enough that you risked walking a mile from your car.
You restart your makeup, deciding that you were going to do as little as possible, only to be distracted by your friend Rory's face popping up on your phone with an incoming call. “So is your hunky boyfriend going to be at this thing tonight?”
“Hello to you, too. And yeah he told me he was coming.”
“So he knows you’re going to be there?”
You hear her drop something on her end, which is perfect since it gives you time to avoid her question, pretend not to hear it as your finish your face and try to run out the door. “Sorry, Ror, didn’t catch that, I’m running out the door to my car,” you tell her.
“That translates to: no, I didn’t tell him.”
“Well, he’s not stupid, he’ll be able to figure out it’s me when he sees my face. It’s not like I look that different when I have makeup on.”
“You could call him and tell him right now.”
“Nope. He’ll find out when he gets there if he even notices.”
“Alright, love. Just make sure you find me after he freaks out,” she says, hanging up. He wouldn’t freak out, right? It’s not like you were lying per se, you were just not telling him the truth of things. He might be a little mad about not telling him exactly where you were going tonight, but none of what you told him was wrong: you were out with people you worked with. You just didn’t say you were going to actually be at work.
You spend your entire ride trying to justify to yourself why you shouldn’t be freaking out over tonight, which then inadvertently caused you to freak out anyway. After parking what felt like a mile away and pretty much running to the room where you got ready, Rory is standing at the door, waiting for you.
“Come here, I’m finishing your makeup.”
“I finished my makeup!” you protest as she takes you by the hand and drags you in front of a mirror.
“If your boyfriend is coming tonight, then you need to look better than that.”
“He came to my classroom earlier and I almost never wear makeup to school. I look fine.”
“Eyes closed,” she instructs. You do as she says. You can hear the crowd coming in to watch the show that you were about to put on for them. You were in the opening act, one in the middle, and then the end, so you had plenty of downtime to worry, pace, and freakout, while trying to remember your routine and get a headstart on your lessons for next week. “I don’t understand why you’ve spent this entire time dancing here with us and then dating him for what, two months now? And he still doesn’t know that much about you? Like I understand keeping mystery in the relationship to keep everything exciting, but this seems like basic information that should have been shared. It’s not like you’re doing something illegal.”
“If my eyes were open, I’d be rolling them at you,” you mutter. You didn’t need a lecture from her about this. You were already well aware of the fact that this was something you should have told him, but what could you do about it now?
“I’m just saying,” she starts again.
“Yes, I know, I know. You have been just saying since I first showed you his picture.” Thankfully, she stops talking, finishing your makeup in less time than you thought it would take. You can hear your phone buzzing in your bag, Matthew’s face lighting up your screen. “Hey, what’s up?” you ask, trying to change while also holding the phone to your ear.
“Just wanted to say hi before the show started,” you hear him say, the guys screaming in his ear about him already being whipped. “Shut up,” he yells at them. “I thought I saw your car in the lot, though. Did you and your friends end up coming here or something?”
Shit. You hear someone calling that it was almost time for the show, everyone needing to get ready to be in their place as you struggle to get your other shoe on. “Fuck, sorry, I have to go. I’ll talk to you later, bye!” you spit out, hanging up before he can say anything else.
“Ready to be exposed?” Rory asks, getting next to you with the lights out.
“That’s what she said,” you slip in, the music and lights coming on, blinding you instantly as you went into the routine like it was something you were born to do. At one point in the routine, you’re off to the side, out of the spotlight and giving your vision enough time to see the audience, make out their faces and see who was paying attention and who was on their phone and trying to hide you. You glance to the left, seeing a sea of red, each man wearing the familiar C logo that you were suddenly mortified to see. You spotted Matthew’s curls instantly, thankful that you weren’t able to tell if he could see you or not since you had to go back under the light, erasing the outside world from you.
The routine ends, you running back to where you get ready to see your phone lighting up with texts from Matthew.
Hey, what the hell?
Anything you need to tell me?
I’m going to be by your car once this is over.
Fuck, fuck, fuck. He was mad. He was breaking up with you. This was it; your best relationship was over before it really got started. You should have just told him. Why didn’t you tell him? “Did he see you?” Rory asks, breaking you out of the trance you forced yourself into.
“Yep, and he’s mad. After tonight I’m going to be single again, so that’s fun.”
“Well, Ryan’s had a crush on you since you started here, so there’s always him.”
“Rory!” you yell, trying to tell her she’s not helping without actually saying so.
“Are you going to be ok to go on?” she asks, sitting you down on the floor with her.
“I don’t know. I just want to talk to Matthew,” you admit. You can feel yourself start to cry, the commotion of everything around you muted as she just looked at you.
“Hey,” she says, putting her hand on your knee, “Why didn’t you tell him?”
You take in a deep breath, shaking your head because of how dumb the real reason is. “Do you know what it’s like to date someone who makes so much money that he can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants financially? I’m not mad about it, it’s just difficult when I have to work two jobs to make ends meet and that’s just not something he has to worry about. He always wants to go out with the guys and begs me to come but then I’m sitting there with like, ten dollars to my name meanwhile all of he and all of his friends can buy the bar if they wanted to and still have enough money to jet off to Australia or somewhere.”
“If he really likes you, then that kind of stuff shouldn’t matter. His first clue that you didn’t have a lot of money should have been when he found out you were a teacher.” You shoot her a look, “Ok, ok, but you know I’m right. From what you’ve told me, he just wants you to be happy. Go talk to him.”
“But the show?”
“I’ll find your partner and tell him not to go on unless he can find you first. Ok?” Rory says, picking you back up off the floor, “Go to your man.”
You send him a text to meet you out by your car as soon as he can. You beat him to the car, pacing back and forth in front of the hood. You see him walking towards you, your heart beating like crazy. “I’m sorry I didn’t tell you,” you blurt out to him before he can even get a word in.
His eyes meet yours, his lips pressed into a thin line. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
You just shrug, trying to figure out the words to say. “It never came up? I don’t know. I should have. It’s not a big deal, I just have to work the two jobs to make ends meet, especially since this is normally during the summer when I don’t have school and I can get a paycheck and I told you that I’ve been dancing since I was like three, I just left out the part about me still dancing and I’m sorry are you mad?” you let out all in one breath.
He shrugs back, his hand in his jean pockets as he kicks a pebble back and forth with his foot. “That’s not the real reason. I know you well enough, Y/N, you’re not a good liar.”
“You have everything. I have to struggle to make ends meet, and even doing this, it’s still tough. I love both of my jobs; I was always worried that I would have to choose between teaching or dancing, and yes I have to do both in order to survive, but I would do both even if one was enough. I’m sorry,” you say again.
“This isn’t something that’s going to work if we keep things from each other. I mean, what if I had a secret family? I mean, the guys know who you are, too. What do you think it was like having them see my girlfriend dancing out there and me sitting there like an idiot not even knowing this was something you do?” he counters, his hands starting to wave around with frustration.
“Not telling you about a job is a lot different than you keeping a whole family from me. It’s not like this is some sort of scandal, this is something that I’m insecure about, I don’t know what else to tell you. Sorry I made you look slightly stupid in front of your friends.” you turn away from him, starting to go back inside when he grabs you by the arm, turning you towards him.
He bites his bottom lip, face scrunched like he’s trying to figure out what he’s going to do next. “This is something that makes you happy?”
“Yeah.”
“What about teaching?”
“Same feeling.”
“Then that’s all I care about. Come on, you think I would be angry that you had two jobs, or something? I would be angry if you had two jobs and you hated both of them. You’re doing what you love. Every time you talk about what you did at school that day, your eyes light up and I don’t even think you realize how much energy you get just thinking about your students and I feel so proud to be with someone who’s so passionate about what they do. If you’re like that about this, then oh my, god, I think the guys are going to kill me for talking about you so much.”
“Aw, you talk about me to the guys?”
The line in his lips turns into a small smile as he moves towards you, pulling you closer to him. His hand finds the small of your back, lips close enough that you’re sure he’s about to kiss you. “Are you kidding? I don’t shut up about you.”
“I talk about you a lot here, but if I did that at school my Principal would get very angry at me for not teaching.”
“Damn, your kids would go wild if they knew you were sleeping with one of their favorite athletes.”
“Yeah, and I would be fired for telling them and also lying to them since their favorite player is Sean.”
He pulls away, a shocked look on his face, “I’m better than Monny,” he says, acting like he’s hurt. You throw your head back laughing as he pulls you closer to him. “Is it bad that I’m still thinking about fucking you on the counter in your classroom but now you’re wearing this?”
“How about somewhere that my students don’t have access to and I wear one of your jerseys instead?”
His eyes grow wide before he closes them, obviously thinking about it, “Fuck,” he lets out, his face going towards the sky. “Please do.”
“Calm down there, Tkachuk, you still have the rest of the show to get through first.”

Meet the Woman Providing Health Care to Migrant Children Near the US-Mexico Border
“I don’t have any medical background, I’m just a mom,” Garcia said.
Why Global Citizens Should Care
The United Nations’ Global Goal 3 aims to ensure everyone, everywhere, has access to good health and well-being. This means ensuring that the most marginalized people can access routine vaccinations that protect against preventable diseases. You can take action on this issue and more here.
Cecilia Garcia recalls the first time she drove past churches in Phoenix, Arizona, and saw groups of asylum seekers being dropped off by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
“People were arriving by the hundreds. It was chaotic everywhere you looked,” she told Global Citizen.
In December 2018, asylum seekers who were released from migrant detention centers began arriving at Latino churches in the Phoenix Valley.
Take the Quiz:
Vaccines Work! What Else Do You Know About Immunizations?
9,246 / 20,000 actions taken
Vaccines work! What else do you know about immunizations?
Good health starts with good knowledge. See what you know about vaccines.
Vaccinations are critical to stopping preventable diseases and ending extreme poverty.
Migrants, who were typically arriving in the US after months of long, dangerous journeys by foot, were facing critical conditions.
“People were dehydrated and traumatized. They had fungus on their feet from walking in the river and wearing the same shoes for days,” Garcia said.
In recent years, the number of migrants seeking entry into the US has increased, which has led to processing backlogs and dire conditions in overcrowded facilities. The government’s handling of asylum seekers, including forced separation of children from parents and allegations of forced sterilizationof women, has been widely criticized.
“What’s happening to them could happen to you, that could be my children,” Garcia, who immigrated to the US from Uruguay over two decades ago at the age of 20, said. “If I had to run to get my children to safety, I'd do it. They did it.”
Garcia, who is a single mom and small business owner, founded the nonprofit One Hundred Angels in 2018, just months before she noticed the influx of asylum seekers in Phoenix.
She originally founded the organization to provide humanitarian assistance in Central America. And while she hadn’t planned on providing assistance closer to home, she quickly changed course when the need arose.
“I don’t have any medical background, I’m just a mom,” Garcia said.
But she leaned on her organizational and management skills, and within days, the mother of two teenage sons was able to successfully set up pop-up medical stations at churches where asylum seekers were arriving. She collected medical supplies and coordinated volunteers, including first responders, nurses, and medics.
“The circumstances we find them in are alarming. They are so weak — physically and emotionally,” Garcia explained.
The One Hundred Angels volunteer medical team now works out of 28 churches and shelters in Phoenix that welcome asylum seekers and has supported 18,000 people to date. They triage, assess migrants for emergencies, and provide comfort packages containing vitamins, electrolytes, and over-the-counter drugs.

Asylum seekers have shared with Garcia anecdotes about the migrant detention centers, including being served frozen food and lacking access to basic hygiene facilities.
“There were cases where people would [have] their medicine taken away and not given it back, and other times where children were given [medical] treatment, but not educated on how to continue this treatment when they left,” Garcia said.
In 2019, she began hearing of children dying in detention centers of preventable illnesses, and of the arrests of doctors who wanted to provide vaccines. At least seven migrant children have died while in US custody or shortly after their release, with at least three of them dying in part due to the flu.
Related Stories Feb. 13, 2018 New Study Reveals Immunization Could Put an End To Poverty
Knowing the barriers facing children and their access to vital vaccines in detention centers, the health advocate thought of a workaround.
“We knew families were waiting in Mexico and would be in the process of going into detention and being in close quarters, so we said, let’s vaccinate before [they arrive],” she said.
So Garcia went to a local pharmacy and bought all the influenza, chicken pox, and measles vaccines they had. Together with professional medical volunteers, she drove the six-hour round trip from Phoenix to San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico. There, she hosted a one-day vaccination drive at a migrant shelter. With a limited number of vaccines, shelter staff helped identify those who were most vulnerable.

Initially, Garcia wasn’t sure how migrants would react.
“I was wondering, ‘How would they trust us with the health of their children?’ But you should have seen those moms lining up [for vaccines] and putting their children ahead of them,” she said.
Following the success of the first vaccine drive, Garcia raised funds to purchase more vaccines and drove to Mexico once again, collaborating with the Mexican Red Cross (Cruz Roja Mexicana), who administered them.
Plans for future vaccine drives were forced to a halt due to COVID-19 safety concerns this past March, but Garcia aims to pick them back up as soon as she can.
Meanwhile, One Hundred Angels continues to provide medical checkups in Phoenix to asylum-seeking families, and encourages parents to vaccinate their children, while also providing information on free and low-cost medical care options.
“It’s a life or death matter. I believe in science,” Garcia said. “I think science is real, and vaccines save lives, so if you can … save our children's lives, wouldn't you do it? I do it.”

100 days of productivity
Okay this is an introduction post where I will detail all the things that I want to accomplish through this challenge. The things that I will focus on are-
 ·       Reading and reflecting:
I am very fond of reading so I tend to read books in long stretches like 6 or 7 hours continuously, it does help in getting through the book quickly but a lot of material and thoughts get overlooked. Recently I have come to understand that every book needs its own time and if you really want to catch the essence of any book then you should give it at least a week of time. Moreover, it feels like I have been taking so input without producing any output so I have decided to write about every book I read.
 ·       Math:
Yes, school is over, but I do not want to forget everything that I have learned, specially Calculus!!! So I think solving math questions everyday will help. Plus, I want to go through AP calculus AB and BC. Solve math for 1 hour every day.
 ·       Computer science:
Learn Python!!! Well, I have already started it but self-learning is tough because you have do not have a fixed syllabus or an organized path that you have to follow. At first I thought of taking a course on edX but my internet connection keep on flanking so I think I will use the Python tutorial which is included in its documentation( yes, I went through the documentation, kill me already!!!). But I think w3school also have a python section so I will take its help whenever required.
I started front web dev in 2019, you know html, css, and js. I did that for about 3 months, but then I got busy with finals, college decisions and all. So I think I will restart learning it and revise whatever I have learned already. This all is pretty vague and so here is an outline for definite path of action.
I will make at least one python program everyday as well as create proper notes and create a site every week incorporating some different features like maybe one week I can make a quiz, the next week a pic slide show, and so on.
 ·       Language:
I am already learning German on Duolingo, but I am doing it very seriously, like I just take the lessons but do not revise them much and not create notes, so kinda forget the words. I think the best solution will be to add some German sentences to all my 100 days of productivity posts. Hopefully, I will be able to learn a lot and actually write and speak German.
 ·       Creativity:
We all know that creativity cannot be forced but a girl can try, right? I am trying to write a book on Wattpad, but I have not updated it for a while, because I am lazy and out of ideas, but I will still force myself to right. I think it also is my fear of being perfect that stops me from writing because I want all my updates to be perfect in every sense, but I will deal with it.  And also I will learn to play at least one song on my Keyboard every day.
 ·       Chores:
I need to clean my room, like it is highly inhabitable right now!!! I also want to help my mother with chores like washing dishes, etc. I am not really sure, but I think I will learn to cook too.
 ·       Fitness:
Crunches- stretching- roller skating- yoga- water?
I am really lazy when it comes to fitness and I have like really low stamina so I wish to work on that. Moreover, I think I will get a skin routine, try some “Nani ke nuske”.
I know this is a lot but I definitely can reduce my sleeping hours, and  I think everything that I have mentioned requires about 1-2 hours. WIth your support I will, hopefully, be able to “keep on keeping on” and complete this challenge or at least get past my 15 day benchmark!!!
P.S. the picture I have used is not mine.
And I will love to have some upbeat song suggestion and inspiring quote!!!
Here is a link to my book on Wattpad, you guys can go and check it out if you want. I would absolutely love to get some feedback.

POLITICAL PARTY ACTION
A brief statement assessing the position of EACH party.  If you cannot find the party’s position on your issue please state so and provide a few general inferences as to why the party may not include this issue in their platform.
Do you agree with their position? Why or why not?
Which party position do you identify with most?  Is that surprising? Would you vote for the Presidential candidate?
Republican (www.gop.com)
Position on climate change:
•The Republicans believe that climate change isn't a pressing national security issue. They support their stance stating, “The United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is unreliability is reflected in its intolerance toward scientists and others who dissent from its orthodoxy.” They believe that the best way to solve the problem with the environment is to promote human ingenuity and develop new technologies because they worry that a top-down approach would stifle the economy and threaten jobs.
How do I feel about the party’s position?
•I do not agree with the GOP’s view on the best way to combat the effects of climate change or to the fact that it is not a national security issue. Because this problem is only going to become increasingly worse it is important to take drastic measures because there is a point where there is no return. I think we should ‘bite the bullet’ take the comic hit and protect our future economy from totally collapsing due to the effects of climate change.
 Democrat (www.democrats.org)
Position on climate change:
•The Democrats believe that climate is a major issue and threat to national security, the future for all citizens and the economy. They also believe that protecting the environment and preventing climate change is essential in ensuring American job security. They want citizens to start listening to science and enact bills that help to solve or reduce problems that are leading to the rapid change in the Climate.
How do I feel about the party’s position?
•I agree with the Democratic Party, I think climate change is a major issue that we face today and is something that needs immediate addressing. I think considering the environment when talking about the future of certain parts of the economy, especially those that are based on non-renewable resources is important because it is undeniable that they are a finite amount. Not to mention the negative environmental impact imposed on the planet and other nations due to our actions. Citizens must listen to science and vote for people who believe in the change that needs to be made.
 Libertarian (www.lp.org)
Position on climate change:
•The Libertarian Party believes that the best way to protect the environment is by abolishing sovereign immunity that allows the federal, state, and local government to pollute and not be held accountable. They believe in free-market environmentalism. A type of market that strives to balance the need for a healthy planet with the American values of liberty, property rights, and limited government. They also want to abolish the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Energy among other agencies.
How do I feel about the party’s position?
•I disagree with libertarians on a general level I believe that government is necessary to keep a country functioning and the economy healthy. As a result, I can't agree with their view 100% on the environment. I do agree that the government should be held accountable and responsible for aiding in the cleanup of the pollution they've helped to create.
 Green (www.gp.org)
Position on climate change:
•The basis of the Green Party platform is environmental protection and reducing the effects of climate change. They believe that the threat of climate change is the most serious social and economic problem that humanity has ever faced. They want to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, fund research into clean energy, end a description of the country’s land for mining of minerals, gas, and oil; they are very aligned with the objectives of the Green New Deal.
How do I feel about the party’s position?
•I agree with the Green Party’s beliefs. After taking the APES class in school last year, I can understand the dramatic and negative effects that will arrive due to the arming of flame and I view it with utmost importance. I think all of the Green Party’s ideas are smart however, the way they may be implemented in real life might find a lot of push back. What they are fighting for is unfortunately extremely political and their views have very partisan opinions on them.
Peace and Freedom (www.peace and freedom.org)
Position on climate change:
•Peace and Freedom Party believe that socialism is necessary to stop climate change that has resulted from capitalism. They believe that the economic system that exploits the working class is also destroying our environment.
How do I feel about the party’s position?
•I can’t say I have a true opinion on socialism mostly because I lack enough understanding of how that affects people and the governments who are currently regulated by it. As a result, I don't feel comfortable agree to disagree with their view as it is so intertwined with socialism.
Which Party do I identify most with?
•I identify most with the Democratic Party’s position. I don't find that surprising, after taking the political spectrum quiz in class, I leaned heavily left and I also support liberal candidates as well as the Green New Deal. Though it is a leftist party it remains more moderate with their view on the environment instead of The Green Party. I think that the Democrats would be able to pass bills that the Republicans would not necessarily be happy with but in comparison to other political parties on the left would be most happy with. I also think realistically if we want to see a change in this county in regards to environmental and climate change policy we must start from the middle and try our best to not alienate the Right. It is also important to find viable solutions to some of the Rights concerns because I can acknowledge that they have valid points however these necessary changes need to come soon and that might mean sacrificing the economy and jobs to ensure that we can remain a strong nation for the next 250 years. I would 100% vote for a Democrat for president and I am following the current candidates' campaigns and watching the debates. I can't wait to vote in the 2020 election!

I took the test, and passed 100%. Click/tap on the caption and take the test to learn if you recognize bees. According to the article, 70% passed the test. Excerpt from this New York Times article/quiz:
The survey had more than 1,000 respondents recruited by word of mouth and on social media, and may have been biased toward people with an interest in bees. It was published last week in the journal Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment.
Just like the rest of the world, the United States has a bee problem. Bees pollinate our plants, which make the food that humans and nearly everything else relies on for sustenance.
