DC Dimensions project plan: Jonah Hex (Vol. 1)
This series is not an assured project. It is a concept that can still be changed or scrapped.
Synopsis
In 1874, the legendary bounty hunter Jonah Hex arrived in the Lorel town to collect on a target. The target is a drifter known as Curtis Knox. Things get complicated when it is revealed that the bounty was set by Jonah's old enemy Quentin Turnbull. Jonah Hex and Curtis Knox work together to defeat Turnbull.
Characters
Jonah Hex - A surly and cynical bounty hunter with a facial scar on his right side. He wandered the Old West. He has strong reflexes and a quick draw.
Curtis Knox -A mysterious wanderer who is wanted by Quentin Turnbull. It is said he cannot be killed.
Quentin Turnbull - A land owner in New Mexico who has a dark history with Jonah Hex.
Other
The town of "Lorel" is an original fictional town named after my grandfather who passed away in December of 2023. He loved westerns. This series is in his honor.

Was Jonah hex, like, a confederate sympathizer? I swear I’ve seen pics of him with a confederate flag on his hat.
That's a...complicated question for a lot of reasons but I'll do my best to break it down.
First it should be noted that there are no living photographs of Hex. There are a lot of photographs of actors playing Hex that get circulated as photographs of the man but no photos that we know for certain are of Hex in life. (There are claims made he's appeared in modern times as result of time travel but I'd need a time travel historian to confirm) Hex was raised by a tribe of Apache for most of his young life and native opinions about the Confederates were...complicated. Many tribes were sympathetic to that cause either due to the introduction of chattel slavery into their tribal structures due to settler influence OR simply in opposition to the westward spread of the Union (the CSA made promises to tribes it's pretty clear they never would have kept) Hex never kept a diary during his war years so its hard to know what he was thinking but we CAN interrogate his actions around the Battle of Fort Charlotte.
Hex surrendered to Union forces at the Fort and seemingly gave up information that allowed for slaughter of the entire unit almost to a man, including his second in command Jeb Turnbull leading to Hex's reputation as a coward and a traitor for the rest of his life. Hex would constantly be on the run from the forces of Quentin Turnbull in blame for the younger Turnbull's death, their conflict being one of the most famous of the western era. There has been some re-examination of the battle in modern times (General Lucas reports having taken the rebel unit captive but we have 3000 corpses that claim otherwise) but Hex surrendered to enemy forces, meaning that even with a doubly strong force he felt some demoralization with either his chances in specific or the confederate cause in general. Without having a psychologist and a spirit medium on hand, I can't tell you why Hex wore his uniform for most of the rest of his life. All I can do is present the facts and help you draw your own conclusions.

Chapters: 38/? Fandom: Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow (TV 2012) Rating: Mature Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings Relationships: Sara Lance/Ava Sharpe, Laurel Lance & Sara Lance, Quentin Lance & Sara Lance, Dinah Lance (Arrow) & Sara Lance Characters: Sara Lance, Ava Sharpe, Laurel Lance, Quentin Lance, Dinah Lance (Arrow), Oliver Queen Additional Tags: Alternate Universe - Childhood Friends, Friends to Lovers, they meet when they’re 11, they are super competitive, will sorta follow canon, Slow Burn, excessive soccer playing Summary: Act Two: Fall 2017, Part III, Season/Series 03
“So?” Sara said, “Would you like to help us or would you like to stay here in this beautiful brig?”
Gary gulped in front of her, “The Time Bureau-”
“We do have a sabertooth tiger,” Sara cut him off, “We’ll need to figure out a place to put him.”
Gary shook his head, “You wouldn’t do that.”
Sara shrugged, “I’m sure you would have been informed that I was an assassin.”
“A, uh, a reformed assassin,” His voice cracked.
“Only that I don’t do hits for money,” Sara threatened and he flinched back. “But when people get in my way,” She trailed off, “You understand?”
Gary glanced at Stein and then back to her, his face paling, “Okay! Okay, I’ll help you, whatever you need.”
“Miss Lance,” Stein stared at the thing she’d pulled off Gary, “I believe someone is attempting to call Gary here.”
“Agent Sharpe,” Sara sighed, “Well, okay don’t answer, I think if we denied the call that’d be more suspicious. Now, Gary, you’re going to make sure Agent Sharpe doesn’t show up here to mess up the anachronism even more.”
“I’m not sure-”
Sara cracked her knuckles, “And you’re going to blame yourself for the new level.”
Gary looked between her hands and face and nodded.
“Perfect,” Sara said and turned to Stein, “I got this, you monitor to make sure everything is fine with Nate and Amaya. Just, not on the bridge.”
Stein handed back the communication device, “Right away, Captain Lance.”
Sara nodded, “Follow everything I say if you don’t want to get hurt again.”
Gary nodded frantically.
“Now, I’m going to change out of this and get some insurance.”
She waved at him as she left, feeling a little too cheery at the way that his lips blubbered. She was really trying to not be too mad at Nate, getting drunk with friends was hardly the worst you could do when you saw your ex again, and laying Gary out had been surprisingly satisfying.
She’d make Amaya spar with her once this was solved and then she could probably forgive both of them.
“Sara Lance, on behalf of the Time Bureau, I’m placing you and your team under arrest.” Ava stood perfectly straight with her hands clasped behind her at the end of the hallway. Sara privately congratulated herself on putting Gary in the brig directly after he sent the message, because otherwise she’d have to fight two of them.
Not that she thought Gary would put up much of a fight. He’d wilted under some light questioning and vague threats of bodily harm.
“Took you long enough, I’ve been expecting you for hours.”
Sara knew she was good at digging her own grave. At least she was exceptional at getting out of them.
Ava, Agent Sharpe, Sara reminded herself, started to spout off title numbers. Sara barely stopped herself from rolling her eyes.
“Which arm?” She asked when Agent Sharpe finally stopped.
“The Global Treaty was negotiated between Director Hunter and the United Nations.”
This time Sara just rolled her eyes, “No, I mean, if you try to bring me into the Bureau, I’ll break your arm. It’s up to you,” she shrugged, “right or left?”
She’d give her the courtesy of picking as one last favor.
“Your threats may work on Confederate zombies, Quentin Turnbull’s cronies, and speedsters, but you don’t scare me.” Agent Sharpe glowered and Sara wanted to laugh, did she practice that in the mirror? “I’ve spent the last five years watching your screw-ups. I know everything about you,” Agent Sharpe paused and looked around, “now, where is the member of my team that you’ve taken hostage?”
Sara finally did laugh, “You mean Gary? This ship is probably like a vacation after having to answer to you.” Sara crossed her arms because she couldn’t analyze the rest of what she’d just said.
Five years?
Five fucking years?
And she just watched her?
What did that even mean? Five years ago she was entrenched in the League of Assassins, still captivated by Nyssa, and only starting to question whether she could stand being an assassin.
Agent Sharpe flicked open a baton, “Last chance. Come quietly and I’ll make sure you get your job back at Sink, Shower, and Stuff,” she mocked.
Sara pulled out her own batons and glared, “When did a Legend ever go quietly?”
They raced towards each other, and Sara reminded herself not to celebrate early, but what could the Time Bureau teach that would outmatch the League of Assassins?
She was surprised at the speed that Agent Sharpe ran at her and deflected the first blow and twisted easily to aim for her legs, and Sharpe parried so Sara tried to jab her stomach. She deflected and countered with a vicious swipe up.
Sara dodged, at a swing that would have taken her head off if they were using blades. She broke the downward strike, feeling the force vibrate through her arms, and aimed for Sharpe’s head.
Sharpe dodged just in time with a duck and a step back and Sara pressed her advantage. They met each other’s overhead strike and Sara spun through her momentum, shocked when Sharpe grabbed her wrist. Sara twisted to break the hold and grabbed Sharpe’s baton and aimed for Sharpe’s leg. She let out a grunt as Sara hit her leg and Sara swiped at her head.
Sharpe just leaned out of the way and glanced the blow off her own baton. Sara caught herself before she stumbled and dodged out of Sharpe’s blow and then retreated back to try to regain her balance. With a turn she swung her baton and it flew out of her hand as Sharpe blocked it. Sara jumped at her and threw her weight behind a downwards stroke that made Sharpe retreat backwards, hair starting to fall out of her bun.
Sara kicked her as they fought down the hall, and Sharpe barely got her baton up to block her next blow. Sara grabbed her arm, she did promise to break one of them after all, and was startled when Sharpe caught her and with a turn, slammed her against the wall.
They slammed their batons together with a grimace. Sara tried to grab the baton out of her hand again, but Sharpe threw her weight behind it and pressed it against the wall. With her other hand, she went for the head, but Sharpe grabbed her wrist and with a sudden move, both of Sara’s arms were pinned above her.
Sharpe leaned forwards, their faces inches apart as they snarled at each other, hot breath blowing on each other's faces.
Close enough to- Sara headbutted her before her mind could betray that path of reasoning. Sharpe let go of her hand and turned and Sara grabbed her into a choke hold, only to be thrown over her head and to the ground a moment later. She rolled through it, slamming against the wall, and let out an angry breath.
So maybe the Time Bureau was pretty good at teaching hand to hand combat.
They both lunged forward, batons clashing, and Sara gritted her teeth as the echoing clang of metal reverberated in her skull. She ducked down, taking a step down the hallway towards the bridge and ducked as Sharpe’s baton flew over her head. She aimed at her knee, but Sharpe knocked her baton so it hit her thigh and Sharpe grunted, but kept advancing.
Sara knew she was better, she was the only one scoring hits, but she was rusty and out of shape. She really should have listened to Ollie when he got on her about her lackadaisical training. To be fair, he had been the only one that truly posed a challenge and he had been so intense that she’d preferred to spar Dig, and well, she really barely had time and energy to just spar.
Her next hits weren’t even that good, not enough for Sharpe to fumble the next attack. Sara dodged to the side as Sharpe lunged at her, and Sara grabbed her hands and threw her further down the hallway. She slid and then rolled back into standing position and Sara threw her baton at her. It wasn’t really helping her anyway.
Sharpe ducked, eyes widening in surprise and Sara tackled her, her baton bouncing away. They rolled across the ground before Sharpe pushed her off, both jumping up to their feet and facing each other with hands curled into fists.
Sara punched at her head, and Sharpe blocked, aiming a quick jab at her stomach. Sara parried with her other hand, and they withdrew for a moment, both with labored breathing. Sharpe aimed a kick at her and Sara dodged and swung her fist, grazing Sharpe’s ear. Her hair was a mess, fully out of the bun and falling in disgrace around her neck.
Sara kicked up, and her foot was batted away with Sharpe’s hand. She followed it up with a quick punch that hit nothing but air as Sharpe dodged right and Sara’s next cross sailed over Sharpe’s head as she dodged down and jabbed her in the stomach.
Sara gritted her teeth and aimed for Sharpe’s abs and if she had the energy would have smiled as it hit. Sharpe let out a grunt as she tried to dart back and Sara just advanced and aimed a cross that landed solidly on her cheek.
Sara backed off minutely, light as she could be on her feet as she glared at the reeling Sharpe. Yes, the batons were getting in her way.
Sharpe brushed a strand of hair out of her eyes as she staggered up, “Rip should have recruited you to the Time Bureau.”
Sara would have spit at her feet if they weren’t on the Waverider. “Rip knows I’d never leave the team.” Sara hated how out of breath she sounded.
“Your mistake.” Sharpe said and threw a hook at Sara’s head. She easily ducked it and aimed for a kidney shot that Sharpe blocked, followed with a forearm cross as they spun and Sara aimed her next one directly at Sharpe’s chin.
She wasn’t expecting the punch that matched her own and fell to the ground, body screaming as she landed heavily on the floor. She couldn’t roll out of it, her body protesting from exhaustion and the only relief she felt was when Sharpe stayed down right beside her, breathing just as hard.
“You want to take a break?”
Sara pinched her nose to make sure it wasn’t broken, “I could use some water.”
“Yeah.”
They both gingerly sat up, eyeing each other as their chests heaved and stood, keeping a careful distance as they walked towards the galley. Sara punched in the command for two waters and took hers and collapsed on a chair, watching as Sharpe did the same.
They stared at each other across the table as they took long sips.
Sara traced over Sharpe’s face, her messied hair, uneven collar, and for a moment, could imagine that they’d never stopped knowing each other. It was the first time she felt like she got a glimpse of the girl who had been her best friend, and the calm presence that eased the restlessness that crawled under her skin.
Sara shook the thought out of her head, this woman wasn’t a friend, and she’d never be again. Not after that. She’d what? Watched her flail and struggle for five years and felt satisfaction in a job well done? They weren’t on the same side and they’d never be again, because apparently, without Sara, she’d gone postal when it came to rule following.
Sara loosened her jaw as she took another sip of water, rolling out her shoulders. They’d have to fight again, and she’d be ready. She wasn’t going to underestimate her this time.
A squeak echoed through the mess and Sara just felt a bone deep weariness. Of course someone had let out the sabertooth.
“Hope that thing’s potty trained.”
“It’s probably not,” Sara grit out, “Cats are jerks.”
“Of course,” Sharpe smiled at her, sickly sweet and dripping with poison, “You’re a dog person.”
“I like ‘em dumb and loyal.” Sara shot back. Like she wasn’t the same, Gary seemed as dumb and loyal as they got. Okay, maybe his loyalty could use some work. All that shook him was a little fear. They should probably check on him, she was not cleaning up if he couldn’t hold it while in the brig.
Her next sentence was cut off as the squeaking turned into a roar. Sara froze, the kitten sized saber-tooth now practically bigger than the hallway. Sharpe jumped to her feet, and Sara felt a panicked breath as her heart rate sped up. What had Amaya said?
“Whatever you do,” Sara breathed out, “don’t,” Sharpe took off down the hallway, “run.”
The sabertooth bounded past her, claws scraping the floor as it bumped against the hallway in its mad pursuit of Sharpe.
“Do I have to do everything?” Sara asked Gideon as she rolled her eyes. “Lock the doors, we can’t have it rampaging through the ship.”
“Yes, Captain.”
She grabbed the Time Courier that Mick had stolen, and typed in the programming. She hoped she got this right, she hadn’t really used these before.
A shimmering portal appeared before her, Sharpe splayed against the door staring at her certain death, and Sara ran forward, tackling her into the next portal.
Sharpe pushed her off and bounded up, “Where did you get a Time Courier? That is stolen government property.” She demanded as she pointed at Sara’s hand.
“Would you mind untying me?”
“You’re just mad, cause I saved your life again,” Sara smirked and ignored Gary.
Ava opened her mouth, but was interrupted by Gideon.
“Captain, I hate to interrupt, but I thought you’d like to know that the anachronism has reached a Level Nine.”
Sara bit her lip, did she really need to know that? Right now? “My team’s on it.” Sara said before Sharpe could get in a word.
“And when they fail,” Sharpe spit out, “maybe Rip will finally give up on the ridiculous belief that your team could actually defeat,” She stopped herself and Sara leaned forward. “You know what, he’s going to take your ship away Ms. Lance,” She said her name like it was a personal affront to her existence. “Again.”
“I don’t know, but it sounds like Rip needs us.” Sara crossed her arms, mind swirling wondering what they could possibly help defeat, “Right, Gary?”
He flubbed, “I have-”
Sharpe cut him off, “You’re lucky he hasn’t thrown you in a cell.”
“Is that where you wish I was?” Sara took a step forward.
Sharpe leaned forward, until their faces were inches apart, “It would certainly be easier.”
Sara sucked in a breath, hating the hurt that flooded through her. What a fucking bitch.
“My fingers are really hurting.”
“Shut up Gary!” Both Sara and Sharpe yelled. They looked at each other for a moment and backed up, retreating to the bench behind him in silence. Sara gripped her fists together, begging for something to distract the rage in her chest.
She closed her eyes and let out a breath, trying to keep it quiet enough that neither Sharpe nor Gary would notice it. Her team would handle the anachronism. They wouldn’t fail her now. And then Amaya would return and fix the saber tooth and let them out and it would be fine.
It was going to be fine.
She took another breath and calmed her heart rate and sunk into the kind of meditation she had perfected with the League. Time no longer existed
After double checking that the saber tooth was locked up (she was not calling it Mr. Sneezums Ray), that Wisconsin 1817 was truly anachronism free (she couldn’t be sure if Gideon had said that just to spite Sharpe), and the rest of the team was safely on the Waverider she marched back to the Captain’s quarters with a feeling of dread.
Sharpe was holding up a picture frame and Sara felt another burst of anger. The one of her and Ava was tucked away in her bag in the back of her closet. Instead, she was looking at the one of her, Laurel, and Ollie a couple months after Sara’s high school graduation.
Sara ripped it from her hands, “Didn’t your mother ever tell you to keep your hands to yourself.”
Sharpe’s nostrils flared as her eyes narrowed and Sara put the frame face down on the table. Sara hadn’t noticed her fixing her hair while they waited in the brig, but it was back to its military perfection.
“So.”
“I suppose congratulations are in order. You get to keep your ship for now, but-”
Sara rolled her eyes, “You will be watching us. Yes, yes. I’ve heard this before, so why don’t you cut the crap and tell me what we’re facing here?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Sharpe blinked and Sara wanted to point and laugh. She might have gotten better at lying over the years, but her tell was still the same.
“You said, ‘that Rip will finally give up his ridiculous belief that your team could actually’ and then you stopped yourself.” Sara pointed at her. Sharpe was staring at her shoes. “So let’s have it. Who are we facing?”
“That information is need to know, and all you need to know is that you and your ridiculous team could never handle it.”
“Ridiculous huh?” Sara shot back, “Is that just because you wish you could be on it?”
“That is absurd, Miss Lance.” Sharpe growled, “You have no regards for the dangers of time travel-”
“I think I know a lot more about the dangers than you do.” Sara leaned forward.
Sharpe matched her, “If by dangers you mean exactly how to break time, then yes, you do. Which is exactly why you should not be time traveling anymore.”
“Just because you have your suits and regulations that no one reads doesn’t make you an expert.”
“I think,” Sharpe snarled, “you’ll find that I am.”
Sara was suddenly aware that they were less than a foot apart and leaned back to make sure the full width of the table was between them. “Well, guess I’ll just wait until Rip remembers exactly why he picked us and he’ll have us front and center as we battle whatever this thing is.”
Sharpe grunted and whirled around, hand on her wrist.
“Aren't you forgetting something?” Sara said to Sharpe’s back. Sharpe turned back around, exasperated and Sara wanted to laugh in her face, “Gary.”
Sharpe gave a simple nod and then marched away in the direction of the brig and Sara grabbed the photo so she could look at it again.
They looked happy, Ollie with his ridiculous hair, Laurel with a smile like she hadn’t spent the last month of Sara’s high school career on the phone with her every night trying to convince her that it was going to be worth it. She couldn’t see the makeup that was caked on her own face covering the bags from barely sleeping, instead sneaking out with Tommy and Ollie and whoever else of their friends to go to clubs they snuck her in with the power of their last names. She’d thought then, that this was what happiness was going to look like, lying to her family and pretending that she knew what she was doing as she tried anything she could get her hands on to have some “experience” for college.
Sara sighed and placed the photo back.

Cinematic Comic Characters Ranked! (Year 2010) Part II
We’ve reached a decade of lists! To be honest the year 2010 was one of the weakest years when it came to decent comic movies but there were still some good ones! We get two sequels with Iron Man 2 and Predators and the debut of Kick-Ass, The Losers, Jonah Hex, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, and one of the worst movies in cinema, The Last Airbender. Without any more delay here’s #50-26!
*SPOILER ALERT FOR ALL HIGHLIGHTED MOVIES ABOVE*
50. Firelord Ozai (The Last Airbender)
"My son has failed me."
Firelord Ozai was shown a lot more in the film than he was in the show during Book One. To me, this was a mistake. In the show, Firelord Ozai had this Big Brother creepy aura that kept fear in everyone who talked about him and made the viewers know that he was the most dangerous person in their world. In the movie we see him calmly strolling next to some flowers and while he does look powerful, he kinda looks beatable and not much of a threat.
49. Noland (Predators)
"I'm the one that got away. The one you don't fuck with."
At first I thought Noland was someone that group needed. He's survived the planet for several seasons and has even managed to kill a couple of Predators himself. Only problem? He's crazy. He tries to take out the group which forces Royce to signal one of the Predators to find them. Noland tries to take off but is quickly blown to pieces by the Predators he's been avoiding for years.
48. Sokka (The Last Airbender)
"I always end up getting wet."
I hated Sokka. He wasn't funny at all and in the show, some of the best comedy comes from Sokka. It seriously bothered me every time he showed up on the screen because I knew it would be nothing like the Sokka from the film, in the worst way possible. We also didn't get to see him begin his journey of becoming the great leader he becomes by the time Book Three rolls around and his relationship with Princess Yue fell completely flat.
47. Natalie 'Envy' Adams (Scott Pilgrim vs The World)
"You just headbutted my boyfriend so hard he burst."
Envy was Scott's big ex that dumped him when her band got signed and moved away. Now a big star, she returns so her current boyfriend can destroy Scott once and for all. She mainly just eggs Todd on but once he's destroyed she moves on with her band. I will say that I really liked the song her band performed at their concert. It was catchy.
46. Happy Hogan (Iron Man 2)
"I got him!"
Happy is back with a little more screen time in the second film. Still serving Tony Stark, Happy shows he's just as loyal as Pepper is when it comes to helping Tony when he's in need of it. However, it seems he prefers Pepper more as he decides to work for her once she briefly cuts ties with Tony. We also see him bravely take down one of the bad guys...while Black Widow takes care of the other twelve men.
45. Nick Fury (Iron Man 2)
"Contrary to your belief, you are not the center of my universe."
When Tony Stark hits rock bottom, Nick Fury shows up to smack some sense into him. He reveals Black Widow is an agent of his, Tony's father is a co-founder for S.H.E.I.L.D., and lets Tony know what elemental metal he can use as source of energy that won't kill him. He does all this in a matter of one scene then takes off to probably go recruit more Avengers.
44. Max (The Losers)
"I've done a lot in four months, Wade. I'm a very busy man."
The big baddie of the film, but he barely made an impression of me. At first I thought he was going to be this evil, calculating guy that killed 25 kids and felt nothing but he turned out to be just really rich and could pay people to do what he wanted. He, himself, wasn't that imposing so it was a surprise to no one that once his goons and his money were gone he was reduced to someone that gets mugged on the bus.
43. Justin Hammer (Iron Man 2)
"I'd love to leave my door unlocked at night, but this ain't Canada."
This dude reminded me of a horrible used car salesman that just wouldn't shut up. Seriously this guy is the very definition of a cockroach. He first tries to take down Tony with the government but when that fails he tries to be buddy-buddy with him so he can get a slot in Tony's expo. When Stark doesn't fall for it, he then starts funding the guy who tried to kill Stark to basically copy him so Hammer could get all the glory. I'm glad no one took him seriously but something tells me he really means to get back at Pepper for having him arrested.
42. Katara (The Last Airbender)
"I'm the only water bender left in the Southern Water Tribe."
Besides her whiteness, Katara didn't bother me THAT MUCH. She seemed to have this worried look on her face the whole time and her narration just didn't have the same impact as the on in the show. With all the cuts to make the movie shorter, it seemed Katara got the short end of the stick most of the time. Aang takes her spot when it comes to inspiring the earthbenders that are imprisoned and her mastery of waterbending is completely taken out as well. Even her epic fight against Zuko is shortened in favor of a fight between Aang and him.
41. Kim Pine, Stephen Stills, Neil Nordegraf (Scott Pilgrim vs The World)
"We are here to sell out and make money and stuff."
The members of the Sex Bob-Ombs! We got Stephen, the vocals and someone who just wants the band to reach the next level in their career so bad that it's made him paranoid; Kim, who used to date Scott in high school and now seems to hate him and insult him every chance she gets when she's not hating every other female drummer she sees; and Young Neil, who's basically the Great Value version of Scott and is only in the band when Scott can't play. They travel with Scott as he deals with all of Ramona's exes with the hope of getting signed but when that opportunity comes with Gideon, Ramona's top ex, they decide friendship is better and help cheer on Scott to victory!
40. Katie Deauxma (Kick-Ass)
"I'd fuck his brains out if I got the chance."
Katie first had Dave on her radar when she thought he was gay and being outcast by the entire school. Wanting to be there for him, she offered her friendship and the two became super close through the movie. When Dave reveals he's Kick-Ass and that he isn't actually gay, they start a relationship. It's Katie's disapproval in the vigilante life that gets Dave to quit being Kick-Ass for a brief moment and they continue to date after Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl beat Frank and Red Mist.
39. Gideon Gordon Graves (Scott Pilgrim vs The World)
"Game. Over."
Gideon is Ramona's most recent ex, who started the League of Exes when she dumped him. He has all the money in the world and uses it against Scott every way he can. He was honestly my least favorite ex. He wasn't as fun as the others and only dated Ramona because he had a mind control device on her. He's destroyed with the combined effort of Scott and Knives, allowing Ramona to date whoever she wants.
38. Tracker Predator and Falconer Predator (Predators)
*clicking sounds*
These two Predators were part of the trio hunting our group of humans. As a group they were able to take down a couple of them and on their own they were pretty impressive as well. Tracker Predator managed to kill Noland, who's been avoiding the Predators for years and mortally wounds Nikolai before the other blows the both up. Falconer Predator tried to do things the honorable way and take on Hanzo one on one in a sword fight. He dealt a finishing blow, but Hanzo also managed to bring him down as well.
37. Burke (Jonah Hex)
"I'm gonna hand Turnbull your balls in a snuffbox!"
For every villain wanting to destroy a country there's always a psycho sidekick who just wants to go along for the ride because it's fun. Turnbull's psychotic sidekick was Burke, who didn't understand what was going on half of the time but still killed anyone that got in the way of Turnbull's plans and enjoyed every single second of it. He almost kills Jonah himself the first time they face off, but on the rematch Jonah manages to not only kill Burke, but also brings him back to life just to incinerate his body completely.
36. Prince Zuko (The Last Airbender)
"I will restore my honor!"
I felt like Zuko in film did really well portraying the anguish the Zuko in the show had, but I could not help but giggle every time he tried to be threatening or intimidating. I couldn't buy it. Also is that what you call a scar? Because to me all that looks like is a small scratch. His rivalry with Zhao was cut back which is a bit of a shame because that really is one of the few times during Book One that you feel some type of sympathy for him and want to root him on.
35. Lucas Lee (Scott Pilgrim vs The World)
"The only thing separating me from her is the two minutes it's going to take to kick your ass!"
The cool action star and Ramona's 2nd ex! He wasn't so cool when they dated so she left him for Todd and he went on to be the biggest skate boarding/movie star the world has ever seen! When he faces against Scott he has his stunt team take him on before he kicks his ass all throughout the movie set. What kills him in the end? Scott convincing him to skate down a rail, which he does awesomely until he blows up all of a sudden.
34. Hanzo (Predators)
"Because I talk too much."
Hanzo never spoke a word to the group until he discovers an old samurai sword in Noland's hideout and even then it's only a couple of words. Although he works for Yakuza, he still has a sense of respect and decides to go against Falconer Predator one on one in a sword fight. Even though he's thrown around by the larger beast, Hanzo deals a killing blow that brings the Predator down. Soon after, however, Hanzo dies from his own wounds.
33. Frank D'Amico (Kick-Ass)
"Playtime's over kid."
The most powerful mob boss in the city, Frank takes down everyone and anyone who gets in his way. With the snap of his fingers he can get whatever he wants, so you can only imagine how his ego was handling Kick-Ass ruining his business. Even though he doesn't take his son seriously, he allows Chris to become Red Mist to lure Kick-Ass into a trap, which gets ruined by Big Daddy. Frank gets his revenge by having his goons light Big Daddy on fire, but ends up having to deal with Hit-Girl. To his credit, Frank isn't hard to take down. In fact, he very nearly kills Hit-Girl before Kick-Ass comes and shoots a bazooka missile at him.
32. Edwin (Predators)
"I'm a murderer. I'm a freak."
Everyone thought that Edwin was this innocent doctor who was mistakenly thrown into the hunting preserve with the rest of these killers. He plays the act the entire movie, earning everyone's trust and basically becoming the little brother they all look out for and protect until the very end when it's just him and Isabelle. He shows his true colors by slicing her with a paralyzing blade and almost kills her before Royce shows up. Luckily Royce isn't fooled by the kid's act and he leaves him with a bunch of grenades to greet the last remaining Predator.
31. Todd Ingram (Scott Pilgrim vs The World)
"Chicken isn't vegan?"
This idiot seemed to be the strongest out of all the exes and Ramona's longest relationship. With his vegan lifestyle comes really cool psychic abilities that allows him to wipe the floor with Scott in front of everyone, including Scott's ex, Envy, who happens to be dating Todd now. The idiot apparently doesn't know that a lot of stuff isn't vegan, specifically chicken, so the Vegan Police show up to take his powers away, which allows Scott to take him down.
30. James "Rhodey" Rhodes/War Machine (Iron Man 2)
"Yeah, it's called being a badass."
Rhodey is back and even though he might have a small ounce of respect for Stark, he still doesn't like him. His dislike is what pushes him over the edge to take on Tony's War Machine before engaging in a fight that takes down Tony's entire mansion. I think he has a good moral compass but his dislike for Tony causes him to not recognize when Tony is right about something, which is how Whiplash is able to take over War Machine in the film's climax. In the end Rhodey has finally established himself as a hero and watching him fight along Iron Man as War Machine was very cool to see.
29. Uncle Iroh (The Last Airbender)
"We will find you a nice girl."
Uncle Iroh in the film is a perfect example of going in a completely different way with a character, and it still being good. Sure I would have loved to see him express a love for tea or play some Pai Sho but I didn't need it. Iroh was still laidback, cared deeply for Zuko, and had a respect for the spirits and other nations. They even touched on his son's death in Ba Sing Se. In the film there's this weird thing about firebenders not being able to create fire but only able to control it (extremely stupid, but whatever) and Iroh is one of the few people who can actually create it. He uses his techniques to aid Zuko in escaping from Zhao and continue to go after the Avatar another day.
28. Quentin Turnbull (Jonah Hex)
"The United States will know Hell."
Our main villain who kills Jonah Hex's family after Jonah betrays him and kills his son, Jeb. I personally don't think it's Jeb's death that makes Turnbull go evil, I think he was already like that when he served as the Confederate Army's Commander. It just took Jonah a while to figure that out and when he did it was too late to save his family. Turnbull fakes his death to throw off Jonah so he can create the ultimate weapon to destroy the United States. He's nearly successful but Jonah manages to show up at the last minute to kill him for good.
27. Classic Predator (Predators)
*original clicking sounds*
The group finds Classic Predator strung up on the other Predator's ship and later learn from Noland that he belongs to an inferior clan. Royce decides to free him in hopes that the Predator will take him back to Earth. The Classic Predator is good on his word, but when it comes to facing the stronger Berserker Predator, he falls short and gets decapitated.
26. William Roque (The Losers)
"Well, you better be, because I ain't getting killed by no girl."
Roque was my least favorite Loser for obvious reasons but I really liked him in the beginning. I thought he was going to be this crazy, unpredictable guy who would find any excuse to pull out his knives and that's not what was delivered. Instead Roque complained about everything the group did to get their life back even when the group's plans were actually pretty solid. Then he decides to betray the friend's he's known for YEARS for a chance to live in America again, which is something I would expect from Pooch so he could be with his family, not from a guy who had no one waiting for him back in the states. So yeah, I wasn't mad when Roque ended up getting blown to piece by Cougar.

Alpha!Thorin would make you ride his thigh, or his bulge, if you were being bratty. Make sure you know he's hard, he could knot you right then, but won't because you haven't earned it.
Just saying...
because I can do this to sloth after whoring after him for ages...
warnings: thigh riding, knotting, Alpha!thorin will update with more later
Thorin was sitting on his throne as the soft padding of female feet against the cold floor. A distinct smirk on his face as he watched her come up. Her lips pouted as she sat on his throne, distinctly straddling him, his stature proud as she just came up to his height when sat on the dwarven throne. His mouth close to your ear as he murmured into it. “Hows my little omega?” Her hair was tied into a low bun, showing the large mark that was made by him as his hand snaked up her neck. His lips going just below his mark as he nibbled at her. “Good alpha.” his beard making her want to scratch as she wriggled as he nibbled below her mark again. His tone rough and hoarse as he watched his little one sit on his thigh. “Now why are you here unless your going to be a little brat and not please your alpha.”
Her tone was light and soft as she giggled his voice almost to calm as she was sitting, her cunt bare under her plain coloured respectable long sleeved dress. “But what if it was all for the attention alpha you have been gone so long today your little one was starting to get bored?” his tone gruff as he looked his blue eyes over your body before speaking again. “Then come on little one just show your alpha how much you want his knot, in your tight little cunt.”

The sound of more breaking glass was the first thing that set Arizona on edge. That a bunch of outlaws were running around town was never a good thing. That she was one of the few girls working on the bar tonight was also unnerving her. Height was never at Arizona’s advantage, coming up to an average female height being 5"3'. The bustling crowds in full swing as she tried to barge through the crowds to get to the bar. Her dress tatty as she had it dragged on the floor. The smell of whiskey was very familiar as Arizona heard the smash of glass. Her body soon stood up as she stormed out into the bustling bodies. Her eyes soon lit up at the familiar sight of Quentin Turnbull’s right-hand man. His eyebrow quirked up as he saw her coming through the crowds.
Arizona looked on the scene, her boots mud covered, that's what you get when you're working as a barmaid instead of a prostitute. Her deep red dress old and well-worn, her corset pushing her breasts up as her tone annoyed as she spoke. “Burke, I thought you were moving off from here?” her eyes rolled as she kept her eyes stared at him. His coat hung up on the hooks with his bowler hat. His distinctive Irish accent was audible as he retorted back to her. “Is that right, Missy? Don't you think you're getting into someone else's business.” Arizona soon crossed her arms over her breasts. Her attitude was unfriendly as she stood up to the same man who was definitely dangerous. But she was going to stand up to him. “Yes, but you're in a saloon you're not supposed to be in, are you Mr. Burke?” That was when she heard a scoff coming from his mouth before he stood up. His height towering over hers as she soon saw him turn on his heel, grabbing his coat and bowler hat. Not before whispering as he passed Arizona. “You might have won today Missy, but you wait until I Can get my hands on your body properly, eh.” His grin unsettled her as he finished speaking. But not before tipping his bowler hat up at her before going into the night.
Arizona shook her head before slamming the door of the saloon shut. Her hand reached for the shotgun as she fired it up to the ceiling. “Anyone else wanting to cause a fight tonight, or wants a drink at all the bar is closing in ten minutes.” the customers soon scattered as she started serving up the whiskey for patrons who wanted it. Her corset got uncomfortable as she kept trying to raise it up against her breasts. Unknown on what is happening for the night ahead of her as she finishes up the last errands of her night. Most of the patrons leaving drunk, or at least not sober. Her hand went to the broom as she grabbed it to sweep the floor. The broken glass of bottles and other items that could injure others. The sound of boots on the front porch decking. Arizona shouted out to the night before she turned her back to the flooring. “Saloons closed for the night, sorry boys!”
There was soon a soft “tsk tsk” that Arizona could hear as she put the broom away. That was before she heard the cock of a gun behind her. Her body whirled around as she stared down at the barrel of a gun. The man behind it was Burke, his black tattoos even more menacing than normal as he cocked his eyebrow up at her. “See Missy, I said we would meet again, didn't I?” his bowler hat still on as he cocked her wicked grin. His eyes watching her as she whistled a slight tone of a song. Arizona gave a small smile before she ducked under Burke's shotgun. “And why are you back here Burke, isn’t your leader looking for you right now?” his dark brown striped waistcoat had a tear in it. The next thing Arizona saw was Burke's hunting knife out of his knife sheath. The silver blade sharp as it held to her jugular, “not back chatting now are we Missy?” His grin was disturbing as he placed the knife down against her corset. Heavy breathing could be heard as Burke looked her up and down. His head shaking as he reached for her dark brown locks, his fingers running through them. He whispered into her ear. “Now you never told me your name did you Missy, unless you want to be dubbed Missy. When I take you back to Quentin, sure he would enjoy you?” Arizona gulped as she felt Burke's knife reach under her breast, quickly making work of the fabric above them. Burke's blue eyes watched her in every moment as he bites down on her earlobe. “See Missy, you're going to get 3 seconds to give me your name before I blow your brains out.” Arizona let out a slight whimper. Burke pressed the gun barrel to her head, his voice calm as he started on the countdown, “3….” she soon blurted it out, “Arizona…. My name is Arizona you can stop calling me Missy now ok Mr.Burke.” His grin came back as he put his finger up under her chin, before brushing his finger over her lips. “Maybe I will keep you for myself, Arizona.” Her body released a shiver down her spin as she looked at his black tattoos.
“What are we going to do with you, Arizona? You are not married, definitely not received a child, and you're waiting to get hitched. Perhaps wanting to be taken interest in by a rich trader.” Arizona sobbed as he reached behind her body. The leather strings of her corset loosening as Burke devilishly grinned at Arizona's look. Her hair covering most of her back as his knife scraped at the red fabric on her breasts. His hand holding her lower stomach as he whispers in her ear. “you would make an amazing mother, you know that Arizona?” His comment confused her as he kept hold of her flat stomach, his knife back in the sheath as he carried on looking at her. “darling you need to marry a husband, one who can keep you safe in all stages of your life.”
With this Arizona soon ran. She was confused about her body being affected by his touch and voice. Unknown to what he was meaning, nothing can be good when a dangerous criminal. Is interested in you, let alone one of Quentin turnbulls. she had to leave the town in the morning, it would be safer for everyone who once knew her. Especially now that she had Burke interested in her now. The fabric that was cut dangled down as she ran from the saloon. If Burke had any ideas where she was heading, she was screwed. But she did not think that he would follow her as she ran into the dark night. Her chest was heaving at the time she reached her safe house. Her dresses and other clothes crammed into a bag. The only clothing that was left out was a very masculine outfit, her way out to be slipping into the night.
The last thing that Arizona saw as she stole someone else's horse before kicking the horse on as she galloped out of the small town. Her small pistol attached to her hip as she made sure to be gone from the town by morning. Her hat just about calming her hair as she left a dust trail behind her. She would head north, if anything told her to be careful going up north with a horse. Would have been safer than going down south. Her clothing was the heaviest bit of her packing, as she kept the small pouch of coins in her bag. in case of any proper difficulty. The horse was holding steady as she dismounted her steed. Letting the horse grab a drink as she sat down on the sandy soil by the river. Her boots left on as she moved her hat to shade her eyes from the sun. The bliss of being outside as she looked at the tree that sat shading her. The sound of a train very close as she remounted her horse carrying on with reaching the nearest town. Arizona might have been close to if at all close to civilisation.
Arizona squeezed the horse on as she watched an immense bunch of cowboys following a train. The tracks had someone on as Arizona kept her head low. The person on the train tracks looked familiar. She tried to avoid the large herd of horses and cowboys coming out for her. If Burke caught her going tail between her legs back, she could not let him win at all, even if he followed her. She would be well ahead of him by the time she had gone over the mountains. The afternoon sun was high in the sky by the time that Arizona got into the higher peaks of the mountains. The rivers and lakes have sparse rarity. Arizona kept her eye half behind her to make sure nobody had followed her.
By the time dusk had fallen, Arizona was coming down from the mountain peaks. Her body cold as she saw what looked like the remains of a campfire as her body stayed on edge. The sound of shots alerted her that someone was there. Her body slipped back into the shadows as she stayed behind some bushes. The similar Irish accent came as she felt a knife at her neck. “Give it up you're caught, either we can settle this business now or the noose can come?” The tip of the knife poking into her chest, leaving a slight nick in her pale skin. Arizona soon stood up, her body in full view for burke as he kept a devilish grin on her as he spoke again. “Gotcha missy, this time I Can keep a hold on you.” The holler from another voice over the other side of the bushes. Burke placed a bit of fabric and his knife between her lips. “Burke are you there?” Burke stood up as he walked out from the other side of the bushes. His eyes set on the shadow of Arizona as she tucked behind the bushes. Her body cold as she tried to avoid having more confrontation from burke. Moving herself against the cold mountainous terrain. What made her stop was the tall shadow behind her, another man from the looks of it. The last thing she felt before a rifle butt knocked her out from behind her.
Dazed by her surroundings, Arizona woke as she surveyed the surrounding room. Her hands wriggled as she realized that rope bound them around her wrists. That she had something holding her legs in position as well, most likely also by rope. The heavy sigh from her mouth almost prompted someone inside. Burke soon opened the door, his grin more demonequse than normal as Arizona spat at his feet. “You little son of a bitch, you have taken my livelihood away. That you found me is easy enough, but tying me up be serious you can’t even get that damn grin off your face.” At this Burke burst out laughing. His grin reaching up to his eyes as he was very amused by Arizona. “Missy you're in the situation that I could make you a damn whore at this rate you're going.” Arizona gasped before retorting a reply to him. “You would never Burke at this rate you're going to keep me for yourself. You said it yourself after all.” Burke soon smirked at this comment from Arizona. “I will still, depends on if you're going to be a good whore.”
Arizona was uncomfortable as the slight stench of whiskey came from his breath. His blue eyes watched her, amused from the reaction that she was having next to him. The room was old, the smell of musty damp wooden planks was one she was familiar to her. The smell of recently fired shotgun cartridges. Arizona was cold, her skin paler than it is, and her lips tinged with blue from her outfit. Her body shivered as she looked up at Burke's face. “Can I get a change of clothes at least burke?” He looked at her with one eyebrow quirked up as he chuckled again. His hand reached for his knife as he looked at her again before speaking. “I don’t trust that you're not going to run away again, whore, you know what that means?” Arizona shook her head again trying to deflect his question. “No, burke, why would you think that?” His reply was short and sharp, very blunt and to the point. “Cause that’s what you did the last time, and we found Yeh, didn’t we, you filthy whore.” with this burke flicked his knife out and faced Arizona. “I know your not stupid now give it up, what do you think we are going to do with you?” his face in a grin as he looked at her, his knife thrown up in the air as he caught it with the handle again.
The palpable tension in the room was noticeable as there was a knock to the door before a voice spoke out. “Burke are you done in their we have to get a fucking move on soon.” Unknown to the man's voice behind the door. Burke stormed over to it and opened his shotgun at the door. The last thing that Arizona saw is the loud sound of a shot, right through the other outlaws’ head. Burke's face turned back to her as she looked at the blood spattered face of burke. His bowler hat still in perfect place as Arizona screamed. “You killed someone innocent!” With this he turned the barrel of a shotgun to her. “Now missy, if we are going to come with us, you're going to need to be quiet about that ok, whore? Don’t mention anything about it, otherwise you know what you will be doing for the rest of your life.” With this, the ropes to Arizona’s chair were cut. Not before burke saw Arizona soon nod her head as she did not retort her mouth back to him. “Good girl, now come on we have some business to do.” Arizona muttered to herself. “What business can be more important than being a demon.” her face was completely straight. She had thought that she had got away with it, but she soon walked into Burke's back. His body taught as he turned around to her, the knife pointing to under her chin as his eyes watched her. “Take it back, whore?” The sound through gritted teeth through his lips as he stared at her before reaching for her arms.
Arizona gulped as she was hauled over to the wooden shack wall. Her back thudded very against the wood. nails poking into her back from the old shack as she felt the large blade nick her cheek. The sharp scratch was a mark on her skin now, but the blood was welling up from the slight cut he gave her. “Now whore you're going to behave, aren’t you?” her body wiggled as he wedged her into the walls more, his tone menacing as he looked straight down at her.
Her cheeks were flushed at this stage, not only was she trying for her freedom. She was also very aware of the tense atmosphere that was around her currently. Another voice soon came through as Burke looked almost a talk and you're dead glare at Arizona. He turned to the door before opening the door again. “Mr. Burke, there is this strange suitcase, sitting outside with ladies’ clothes in. Do we have a visitor or something going to happen?” Burke answered, “yes and if you don’t want your head blown off, get out now.” The man soon went scurrying as Burke turned his head to Arizona again. “So missy, any suggestions or ideas what I am going to do with you?”
Arizona whimpered as Burke snaked closer to her, his body covering hers. His lips ghosting over her lips as he kissed her, his eyes watching her as he muttered into her lips. “Your mine, Arizona. You might not know it yet but you're going to marry me as I watch you raising our children? You understand that missy.” Arizona soon spat at him. Her eyes hurt as she retorted a reply to him. “Never, burke, I will never be your wife.” She lifted her hand as her hand striked his face. Her body soon turned as she ran to the nearest open window, the tiny crack of the window enough. To fit her slender body shimmy through her hand was grabbed. Her head flicked back to the window to show Burke glaring at her. His smile turned into a tortuous grin as she stared at his tattooed arm. “You leave now, missy I will hunt you down. I Am going to have fun with our little game. Now either you can leave and we will find you or you can come back in and be a good missy and not make a fool of yourself?” Her first thought was that of running away and joining up with no one taking the traders route into town. Arizona had a niggling thought in her mind that if she ran. There was also a high likelihood of Burke catching her again. Another voice brought her out of her thought process as she tugged her hand away from his, only to get another hand put over her mouth. Her body wiggled and struggled as she tried to get out of the unknown person. Who grabbed her, but not before she heard the distinct Irish accent of him. “Bring her in we have an occasion to get ready for.” Arizona kept squirming as she manhandled into a room. Burke sat by the fireplace, his face illuminated by the firelight. “See I will always get you? Won't I missy?”
Arizona gave a blank stare to burke. Before she heard a softer voice, one that was more feminine. Rather than masculine like the surrounding group. “Can I help at all, burke?” Arizona could not turn her head to face the female voice. Burke stood up from his chair as he turned to the small window. His voice let out a chuckle as he turned back to the unknown female voice. “yes, you can help Hattie, but I won’t be leaving the room and I wouldn't want you injured by a firecracker.” burke's eyes scrutinised Arizona as she rolled hers at his comment before retorting her own reply. “You know burke if you weren't holding me against my hostage. Where a proper gentleman is about this marriage. There is a possibility of marrying you without it being forced?” At this remark, burke chuckled before speaking again. “But Arizona, my little missy you would have never said yes.”
Arizona kept her arms crossed, the other female whispered something into burke’s ear as he said back to her. “If she runs don’t be afraid to call me.” His crystal blue eyes set onto Arizona's eyes, not before he said to her. “Now go along darling you have a wedding to get ready for.” Hattie looked at Arizona before letting out a sigh of relief. “I don't know what you have done to ruin his normally perverse mood.” Arizona looked at the blonde haired female whose name she had picked up as hattie. “So you must be married or one of the outlaws mistresses?” A light laugh came out of hatties mouth as she replied back. “Yes i am married to one of the outlaws, you might know him seeing as he was manhandling you earlier.” Arizona looked wistfully before looking back at hattie. “Do you have any strong drink around hattie?” Hattie giggled before opening a bottle of bourbon. Pouring the small amount of amber liquid into a small glass tumbler. “Yes here drink up before burke finds you drunk before his wedding to you.” Arizona smiled at the blonde haired girl as she sipped at the drink. Not before asking a poignant question to her. “Children ? you don’t look much older than me?” Hattie nodded, her eyes crinkled before speaking again. “I was only 20 when I married my outlaw husband of nearly 6 years now. The fact that he currently has a mistress leaving his wife at home wanting revenge while she nurses his only child.” Arizona sat next to her quietly sympathising. The other woman before getting up and tossing her a small knife. “The only thing that burke has not found is the item on myself yet hattie take it and use it for yourself.” Hattie chuckled before tucking the small knife into her cleavage. “Thanks Arizona, let's get you ready now.”
Hattie slowly made Arizona slip into the checkered blue dress. The blue was not her colour but she could not fight Hattie on changing the dress. It was one that Burke had picked out for them to be able to get married without her looking like it was forced. To the parson or person marrying them. Arizona was soon taken out of her daydream when the tattooed man stormed through the door. His hand snaking around Arizona's waist as he looked at her with a smug grin. “Darling , come meet Quentin.” Burky lowered himself to her ear. “you fuck it up, your going to risk a lot more than your cunt tonight whore.'' Burke stood up again but not before making sure his hand wrapped tight around her waist. With this he led her outside as Arizona noticed a man who she had not seen before at least around the bunch of outlaws. Burke soon coughed as the man turned around his eyebrow quirked as he boomed to the group around him. “Burke you scoundrel who's the new lady.” Burke grinned his tattoos moving as he faced arizona. “Quentin, this is my new wife arizona.” Arizona smiled as she shook the renowned outlaw leader's hand. “Burke married never thought there would be a day for my right hand man to be married.” Arizona looked out at the landscape, her eyes captured by a dark silhouette as Burke whispered in her ear. “Darling stop gazing out into the open world.” Arizona soon looked at him before making her way over to the recent discovery. Her throat seized up as Burke grabbed her body. “No you don’t darling go inside and wait for me there.” Arizona soon gave her graces as she walked back up to the fireplace. unknown to her that burke kept his eye on her while she closed the door to his room.
Her first place to go was the window as she sat down watching the crowd of outlaws that were outside. Burke’s bowler hat was noticeable as she saw his hat moving throughout the crowds. His body stopping on the occasion as he stayed to chat to other outlaws. The sky was a pretty clear blue as Arizona stared out into the open sky, the vultures circling around in the sky. Her head turned around her as she sighed yet again for the current day.
That was until she heard the door close again. Her hand was soon grabbed as she felt the rough hand of him. Her head soon flipped towards the blue eyes in front of her. His hat tipped over as he looked at Arizona, his voice threatening as he asked her a question. “You ruined that chance Arizona, now I will take what's mine.” His blue eyes watched her before he tilted her chin up as he lowered himself to her lower neck. His teeth grazed her neck as he spoke up. “Who’s mine, arizona?” a quiet murmur from her back as he kissed up her neck. “I am yours burke.” Her voice slightly breathless as she was undone by him. Their room is the bare minimum but enough for the moment. Burke reached for his knife. He reached for the fabric underneath her breast as he pierced his knife into it. the sound of tearing fabric audible as he looked into her eyes. “All mine.” the last thing he murmured before claiming arizona's lips with his own. Intimately kissing her as he lost the bowler hat, cornering Arizona up against a wall. His eyebrow quirked as he spoke again, Arizona's cheeks flushed as she chewed at her bottom lip. “My darling we have to leave tonight, are you going to be able to move off tonight.” Her body was open for him as his striped waistcoat on the front and destroyed in places from gunshots and burn marks. “Or are we a fuckin’ pansy for this after all. Locked up with only your husband to make your body sing.” His grin soon held, that insane unstable mind of his will always win him over. He pointed the recently sharpened knife under her chin if she did not know any better she might have ran, screaming for the hills. But she stayed quiet much to Burke's displeasure as he had hoped that she did not.

It took until Episode Six for me to make my mind up on Evelyn Walters. I have decided I adore her, in all her bitchy, calculating, menacing and conniving glory. Seeing Marg Downey in such a role is quite jarring, considering I am so familiar with her comedy characters. Evelyn is like an ice queen, and she has an intricate understanding of her husband's workplace and knows how to get her way.
I had been thinking of Australian women that may have inspired her, at least physically. I thought of Ita Buttrose, Maggie Tabberer, Quentin Bryce, Lucy Turnbull and Carla Zampatti. All very poised and regal! Anyone else got some other suggestions?

The last bit of sunlight slowly disappeared as the sky in front of you was an admiral blue and the sky behind you was a mix of denim and midnight blue. You had a slight limp and sighed once you reached your home.
Hopefully the mission Ava and Sara had messaged you about would last long enough to cover the black eye you had. A slight joy ran through your body as you slipped your head through the ajared door.
You quietly entered your home and closed the front door slowly. You proceeded to crawl up the stairs to dampen your presence, in case anyone else was home. Once you reached the second floor you tiptoed towards your room, across the hallway from Ava’s and Sara’s room. You were about to reach your room when Sara portaled behind you.
“(Y/N)?”
You turned counterclockwise to prevent Sara from seeing the black eye on your right eye. Luckily the moon lit sky shined on your left side as the shadow of your nose covered the blue and purple bruise.
Sara’s eyebrows kitted together with concern written everywhere on her face. In which you proceeded to ask how the mission was to avoid the topic.
“Hey, how was the mission,” you spoke with exhaustion and rubbed your hands together.
“What happened to your eye?”
“It’s okay, I could cover it with makeup,” you tried to wave it off. “If I wore makeup.”
Sara’s hand immediately flew to move your bangs behind your ear. You slightly flinched, grabbed Sara’s arm and looked down to cover it.
“It’s fine, mama.”
“Who did this to you?”
“I-It’s a long stor-”
“I asked you who,” Sara no longer asked. The mask of concern still worn.
You blinked and flicked your iris down then back up to make eye contact with Sara.
“(Y/BFF/N),” you sighed.
Sara’s shoulder slightly loosened. You knew your mom way to well to see the gears in head turn with a plan of how to murder them.
“But they’re not right in the head. They took something at this party and after that they weren’t the same, started fights, skipped school. I tried to stop them and whatever they took it made them strong, like Supergirl strong. I know it sounds nuts.”
Sara shook her head. “It really doesn’t,” anger now written on her face.
“Mom, (Y/BFF/N) is a friend. They need help not a beat down.”
Sara sighed, reached to inspect your bruise then ran a hand through her own hair. “Ava and I taught you how to defend yourself, not go running into a fight.”
“Mama,” you tried not to raise your voice in this situation. “Tell me that you wouldn’t have done the same thing.”
Sara sighed once again knowing that she would have done the same.
You fidgeted with your fingers as you waited for Sara’s response, you knew walking away at that moment would not result with a pretty ending.
When you were younger and walked away before the conversation ended, it always ended the situation with an angry mom —mostly Ava. And despite the fact that Ava was the head of the Bureau you were more afraid of your reformed assassin mother than ‘follow the protocol’ mom.
“Go wash your face gently and meet me in my room when your done,” Sara descended the stairs to grab ice.
As told, you headed towards your parents room and Sara followed behind you with an English Ice Cap and Acetaminophen in one hand and a glass of water in the other. Sara motioned for you to sit on her bed as she turned on both bedside lamps.
“This should help with the pain,” Sara placed a capsule in your hand and passed the glass of water to you.
Sara leaned against the headboard and sat with her legs crossed. Once you finished the water, you placed the glass on the nightstand and rested your head on Sara’s lap.
With the better lighting Sara checked if the white of your eye or iris was bleeding, asked if you saw double and tested it with placing two fingers in front of you, asked if your nose or eye started to bleed afterwards, and ran the whole concussion test. When she finished she placed the slightly melted ice cap on your eye after she told you to close your eyes.
“Where’s mom,” you finally got to ask after minutes of silence.
“She’s writing the mission report.”
“The one you’re supposed to write?” You snickered in reply.
Sara shushed you while you laughed. Once the laughter died you had to ask the burning question.
“Are you planning to kill (Y/BFF/N)?”
“Maybe just break their arm,” Sara joked. “I don’t want you to investigate this, I have two ideas what it could be.”
“I don’t want to either,” your voice went up a couple of octaves.
“You know you’re a terrible liar like me,” Sara curled her pointer finger and middle and pinched your nose.
“So you’ve noticed that you’re a terrible liar,” you teased with your eyes closed only to have your voice be nasally due to Sara’s grip on your nose.
“First of all you sound ridiculous, second if you don’t want a second black ey-.”
“Your threats don’t work on me as they do with Confederate zombies, Quentin Turnbull’s cronies, Speedsters and even the Legends.”
“Did you just quote your mom?”
“Speaking of mom. If you by chance give me a second black eye, which I doubt you would cause you love me so much, mom wouldn’t be so happy if she finds out you gave me both black eyes.”
“Oh, I gave you both now? Is that how it is?” Sara mocked in a sing song voice, stretched out the leg you weren’t laying on and pushed your side. She threatened to push you off the bed. “Long live the king.”
You pulled Sara along with you when she actually pushed you off. You fell into a squatted position and Sara groaned as she fell on her butt. The signature zap of lightning and the room brightening indicated that Ava just arrived home.
Ava stood in her navy blue pantsuit with her hair on one side, she couldn’t see your face but she gave Sara a look of confusion.
“Do I want to know?” Ava asked.
“Mama pushed me off the bed saying long live the king, and I pulled her down with me.”
Ava smiled and made her way over to the two fallen Lances to kiss both their foreheads. However, she immediately frowned when she saw your eye and kneeled to take a look at your eye.
“What happened to your eye?” Ava looked to Sara for an explanation. “Did you push her to far again?”
“No, she tried to stop a fight between a drug enhanced teenager and other teens.”
“So you pushed her off the bed as punishment?” Ava crossed her arms and raised her eyebrows at Sara.
You didn’t need a fight to explode this late so you just wrapped your arms around Ava. All was forgiven as Ava hugged back then kissed your forehead.
“Did you ice it?”
“Yeah just finished the twenty minutes, now gotta wait for another forty to put it back on.”
“I’ll go empty the ice cap for you,” Ava grabbed the ice cap on the bed and headed to the kitchen downstairs.
“Do you think mom is going to drag me to the Waverider to have Gideon check on me?” You turned to ask Sara.
“Definitely, quick get under the covers and pretend you’re sleeping.” Sara pulled the blanket to the foot of the bed.
“Mom knows I can’t sleep that fast.”
“Do you need me to knock you out?”
“No!” You crawled into the middle of Sara’s and Ava’s bed.
Ava walked back into her room, noticed as you and Sara cuddled up next to each other as Sara picked a movie to watch. Ava took the other spot beside you. You didn’t even last thirty minutes of the movie as your head drooped onto Sara’s shoulder.
Sara continued to watch the movie with you on her shoulder until she couldn’t feel her arms and repositioned you so you laid in between Ava and Sara.
“Can you believe she tried to stop a fight? It feels like yesterday she was to scared to even harm a fly.”
“Well that’s a Sharpe-Lance for you,” Sara flashed a proud smile.

BAFTA 2020
Hollywood, a Londra.

Burke - Jonah Hex (2010)
Burke is shoved into the rotating propeller of Quentin Turnbull’s ironclad warship by Jonah Hex at the end of a fight, slicing open the back of his head and killing him. Hex then uses his deathly powers to resurrect Burke’s corpse (causing Burke’s skin to rapidly burn up), before punching him in the face so hard that his entire body disintegrates, avenging Hex’s wife and son.

Foto: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ Read the full article

JONAH HEX WESTERN TALES & also the first time be shot Batman.
Having found a career path, Jonah Hex begins his life as a bounty hunter. I will largely be going off of the DC wiki (https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Jonah_Hex_(New_Earth) ) for play-by-play and for ordering these events along a timeline. That said, Jonah Hex has had a few different writers and reboots so I promise nothing from a consistency standpoint.
Jonah Hex’s first bounty was an old army buddy of his, Eddie Cantwell. However, Cantwell gets killed by manhunter Arbee Stoneham, who really rubs it in by stealing Jonah’s guns. Jonah would meet Stoneham again 8 years later, where he finds Stoneham in a wheelchair. Deciding that shooting a paraplegic would do nothing for his already pretty shit image, he shares a drink with the man.
Then the wiki has this beautiful excerpt, which I will be pasting in full;
“As a bounty hunter, Hex was hired by Vandal Savage to eliminate a time-traveler Batman in return for some of Napoleon Bonaparte's gold. Hex defeated the dark rider, but he refused the gold, keeping just a batarang as a souvenir.”
Famous immortal caveman super villain Vandal Savage hires Jonah Hex to shoot Batman, with the reward being Napoleon’s Gold. Honestly the wildest part of this is that Hex beat Batman in a Batman comic. His jobber aura must be immaculate.
Now, with that out of the way, it should be noted that most early Jonah Hex stories were relatively down to earth Western stories, with villlains being less “super” and more “holy shit this guy is so fucking evil.” I will be glancing through these.
Jonah shoots Big Jim, who’s gang was trying to scare off the locals to sell the land to a railroad company. A lot of the villains in Jonah Hex stories, when their not just super racist or a serial killer, are trying to sell some land to a railroad company. Jonah thinks of settling down but the town tells him they don’t take ugly people.
Jonah gets a dog named Iron Jaws after saving a Pawnee tribe but failing to save the little girl that owned the dog.
Windy Taylor, Jonah’s mentor(?), hires Jonah to save his son Tod Taylor. Tod shoots Windy, Jonah shoots Tod. The dog around this time dies of exposure in the desert while trying to save Jonah from bandits that tied Jonah up, and now I’m just sorry that I bothered bringing the dog up in the first place.
Jonah becomes the bodyguard for a lot of people. These people generally turn out to be evil, and Jonah shoots them. I assume this is because if Jonah ever seemed too financially stable the comic would end.
Jonah loses another mentor, Blackjack Jorgis, as well as his horse the General when their attacked by former confederates sent by one of the closest things Jonah Hex has to a nemesis, Quentin Turnbull, father of that guy that I briefly mentioned when I was talking about the POW camp. Quentin Turnbull blames Jonah Hex for the death of his son, and will proceed to spend the rest of his existence in pursuit of revenge. This dude came back as a black lantern at one point. No chill. In addition to racists, serial killers, and railroad entrepreneurs, basically every other villain in a Jonah Hex story was sent by Quentin Turnbull.
Or El Papagayo. El Papagayo is a gangleader. He also reappears a lot.
Last thing worth noting I think is the time Jonah returned to the Apache tribe he lived with for three years, who have apparently kidnapped a girl. Jonah goes to his former home and gets thrown in a cell. White Fawn, remember her from the previous post, tries to rescue him and gets shot by the chief because everybody in this story is an asshole or dead. Jonah Hex shoots the chief and a lot of other people, rescues the white girl, and also some bounty hunter that was there dies.
NEXT: TIME TRAVEL PART 1
