one thing I love about writing in IWTV is in my notes/drafts, i keep calling daniel and armand, at the vampire lestat concert, the 'belt-loop situation'.

i'm sure five whole people find that funny, but a 70-year-old baby vampire holding onto a five-hundred-year-old twink's belt loop in a crowd of a rock concert makes me giggle every time like I'm five years old.

Why do I keep being called purely a "show fan" when I post about the books, the Queen of the Damned movie, and the IWTV movie as well LOLLLLL, also why is that even an insult if someone is. We all don't immediately have to be devout to every version, there's lots of new fans! I've been following this whole thing for 13+ years, which goes beyond the shows beginning, but there's people who have enjoyed it longer. No one is better nor worse, longer or shorter, or if they like one or more versions.

as a fandom we talk a lot about how akasha was clearly so lowkey scared of louis. not just because of his connection to lestat, but his aura overall as such a humanist but teetering on the edge of oblivion vampire.

i think one thing we DON'T talk enough about is what would've happened if akasha met CLAUDIA. aka, lestat's perfect pernicious killer/daddy's little murderous princess.

and essentially, that is what the whole premise of A Deal of Consequence Vol. 2 is going to be. book reader's know akasha's motivations for QOTD, and mix that with a more show-style claudia who got her second chance in a new adult body...

well, this is just going to end up being SO PAINFULLY MESSY.
