Context: Fico was supposed to answer some simple questions in regards to the coalition’s political agenda. Since he is physically incapable of normal answers (because he’s a snide, conniving populist) he resorted into the ad hominem fallacy and started insulting Šimečka. If that doesn’t scream “coward” then I don’t know what does.

How Would I Put This For My Non-Slovak Mutuals

Slovakia is going to have elections (premature, I should note, because Matovič is an idiot, see bellow) and by God I am stressed. Our options are as follows:

Progresívne Slovensko (Progressive Slovakia) - They are the, well, progressive party of the Slovak political spectrum. Which means they are the only fucking party that supports the LGBT movement with any consistency. Most of their other proposals are also relatively reasonable; they are interested in protecting the environment, want to improve the sorry state of Slovak healthcare, fight the corruption and so on. Their only two issues are the fact that their leader, Martin Šimečka, is a fucking nerd with the charisma of a wet noodle, and the fact that everyone, and I mean absolutely everyone, even people who theoretically should be on their side on account of not being bigoted Putin-loving dipshits, hates them for absolutely no reason. Well, except for their large preferences, probably. They are the most successful party, or second most successful (depends on how the elections pan out) after...

SMER - Sociálna demokracia (DIRECTION - Social Democracy; yes I know SMER is also short for something but I'm too lazy to look it up right now) - Hoo boy. These guys. How would I even start to explain the sheer amount of baggage these guys carry...? SMER has been in power in 2008-2012 and 2012-2020. And it was a fucking shitshow. Between massive corruption and widespread mismanagement of public resources, you can't help but wonder how the fuck did these people last one term, let alone three?! Don't let the Social Democracy thing in their name fool you, these people aren't really social democrats, they have no ideology beyond getting more votes and avoiding jail. Their leader is Róbert Fico, a literal antichrist whose corruption scandals would make for an exceptionally thick encyclopedia. This man is able to sell his soul to the devil for money and power, but since the devil seems kinda unavailable, he figured Putin is the next best (worst?) thing. His latest strategy for gaining more support is leaning into the fanatical Putin-loving, EU and human rights hating crowd, which in our country is depressingly large. Another memorable personality is Ľuboš Blaha, a tankie extraordinaire whose favourite meal is the sole of Volodya's boot and a steady diet of bathit conspiracies. Hlas-SD (Voice-SD) - Most progressives in Slovakia have high hopes for these people. I don't. They are an offshoot of SMER, whose leader Peter Pellegrini has mostly held the line with Fico, but at least seems spineless enough to betray him if it happens to be advantageous enough. They don't really have any kind of concrete politics (most of their program is a vague "we'll make things better" kind of stuff), but at least they don't actively spread hate, so in that way they are able to climb over the low bar that is their mother party. Still, how are these people in the third place of every pre-election survey I will never know. I guess Pelle is just that sexy or whatever.

Obyčajní ľudia a nezávislé osobnosti (Ordinary People And Independent Personalities) - They have been the ruling party since 2020 and much like with SMER, it was kind of a shitshow, just in a different way. Their leader Igor Matovič is less corrupt (mind you, not NOT corrupt) than Fico, but more than makes up for it by being kinda stupid and also a horrendous drama queen whose antics prematurely ended two cabinets, his and Heger's. Tenderly nicknamed "Matelko", he became known for his "atom bombs" of ideas, such as giving out prizes in a lottery that people join by getting vaccinated. Y'know, to increase vaccination rates during the height of COVID-19 pandemic. That's why this whole thing had to be televised, complete with "call to collect your prize" type of deal. For what it's worth, he at least made attempts to fight the corruption of the previous regime; he did it badly, as is his way, but nonetheless. "Independent personalities" here means a bunch of small parties that joined them in this election, because they would have no chance otherwise. They are a pretty diverse bunch, meaning their ranks include, among others, an infamous bigot and fanatical anti-abortion activist Anna Záborská, but they also made my bae Jaroslav Naď a defence minister, so that kinda balances it out. I wouldn't hate it if they managed to get into parliament, I'll tell you that much.

Slododa a Solidarita (Freedom and Solidarity) - Considering Matelko profiles himself as an anti-corruption crusader, you'd think Róbert Fico is his nemesis. You'd be wrong. Fico unfortunately loses that prestigious title to one Richard Sulík, leader of SaS, who is... Eh? Like, he's competent in the questions of economy and in general not in the worst tier of Slovak politicians, but also, he's as much of a libertarian as is possible in our part of the world (which si to say, he's not as bad as an average American libertarian, but still engages in, for example, casual climate change denial) and constantly feuds with Matelko. Again, I don't hate him, but we could do a lot better.

Kresťanskodemokratické hnutie (Christian-Democratic Movement) - They are surprisingly not as bigoted as their name would suggest, but that's because here in Slovakia we are used to levels of homophobia and transphobia that would boggle the mind of an average non-fundie American. They come off as relatively reasonable, but only because one can't help but compare them to Putin kissasses like SMER, SNS and Republika. Which brings us to...

Slovenská národná strana (Slovak National Party) - You know, Stupidest Slovak Politician is a tough contest, so my respect to anyone who is able to win it as decisively as Andrej Danko. This man is like Róbert Fico, if his spirit animal was a sheep instead of a fox (and I say it as someone who has experience with sheep, those motherfuckers are ungodly stupid). He simped for Putin before it was cool, when that particular fanclub was just him and Blaha. He doesn't seem to be able to speak his mother tongue and his constant malaproper speech is the source of many a meme. Which, yes, means that him getting into parliament would be pretty funny. On the other hand, all that fun would probably be somewhat spoiled by the fact that he's ALSO super corrupt, not to mention, y'know, conspiracy-spreading Putin simp and bigot. He also cites Viktor Orbán as his actual, honest-to-God role model. So, an all-around cool dude that I am very happy might be in the next parliament (if Fico wins the election, because naturally these two get on like a house on fire). /s

Republika (The Republic) - I can't believe SMER legit isn't the worst mainstream Slovak party, but I mean, at least they aren't actual neonazis? I mean, Republika does its best to hide their affiliations, but because their leader, Milan Uhrík, is in competition for the second stupidest Slovak politician (the first place, as stated, firmly belonging to Danko), they don't do a particularly good job of that. I mean, Republika is the product of a schism within ĽSNS, who were already infamous for their idiocy (besides, you know, barely disguised fascism), so figures. Milan Uhrík in particular is the man whose most important contributions to Slovak culture were sitting in the European Parliament doing fuck all (did I mention that like most bigots, he also shits on EU constantly?) and the "I am not a historian" meme. Basically, because of the blatant fascist sympathies of his party, including worshipping Jozef Tiso, he was asked to condemn the crimes of the First Slovak Republic (which was basically a Nazi puppet - yeah, Ukrainians aren't the only nation in this region with a shady past, go figure; not that it prevents some people, including Uhrík himself, from spreading the "denazification" bullshit). Uhrík's answer? "I am not a historian". Since then, he has been given several options to revise this opinion. He never took any of them. His agenda is also truly something to behold, like I've never read something as profoundly dumb as the pamphlets where they present it. They don't seem to be as successful as ĽSNS, but that's unfortunately because their schtick was stolen by SMER with the good chunk of their electorate. Still, SMER might actually take them into their coalition, because like goes with the like even if the "like" is bigotry, and lest we forget, there is no God.

Sme rodina (We Are Family) - *sigh* Do I have to? Okay. Sme rodina is yet another conservative party, completely unlike EVERY OTHER PARTY THAT EVER GAINED ANY TRACTION IN THIS COUNTRY PLEASE GET ME OUT OF HERE. Ahem. Its leader Boris Kollár is a businessman who gained something of a memetic status in Slovak showbusiness by being a massive whore and having a fuckton of illegitimate children (the current count is I think 12?). Something of a Slovak Herschel Walker. And just like Herschel Walker, he, the avowed conservative that he is, has been accused of paying for abortions of one of his ex-girlfriends. Which is just a reflection of this guy's general moral consistency. To put it simply, Boris is the biggest Slovak whore. If Fico asked him to join his coalition, you bet your ass he would. He also has associated with people involved in organized crime (just like Fico) and sexted a fifteen year old drug addict. Because, as their billboards state, Sme rodina "protects children". Needless to say, I can't fucking stand this dude just as a person; since he seems to want to be an Isekai hero, I hope he gets hit by a truck.

Demokrati (The Democrats) - They're fine. Their leader is our former short-term prime minister Eduard Heger, whose only flaws were being hopelessly naive and letting Matelko get away with shit he should not have gotten away with. Any people that might be OK with them already vote for Progresívne Slovensko, but maybe they will get enough votes to be eligible for parliament? Maybe??? Their chances aren't high to be honest, but what do you know, miracles do happen.

S partiou muzikantov Chalani z chatrče upozorňujú na neprávosti, ktorých sa oficiálne miesta dopúšťajú na najslabších obyvateľoch Slovenska. Zuzana Sojková, ktorá popri štúdiu súťažila aj na modelových medzinárodných obchodných arbitrážach, sa pred rokmi cez program Teach for Slovakia rozhodla ísť učiť rómske deti na východ Slovenska do Keceroviec.

Prieskum, ktorý zrealizovala agentúra Focus v závere augusta a začiatkom septembra ukazuje ako sa na preferenciách jednotlivých strán podpísala koronakríza.

Najsilnejšia vládna strana OĽaNO výrazne stráca a súčasná vládna koalícia by dokonca v parlamente nemala väčšinu. Naopak silnie nová strana Petra Pellegriniho Hlas – Sociálna demokracia.

Výrazne však stratil sj Smer – SD. Ten opustili…

AKO-felmérés: Míg Kotlebáék jócskán veszítettek az erejükből, addig a Smer sikeresen tartja magát

Az ellenzék kényelmesen tudna többséget alkotni a Most-Híddal.

Amennyiben a parlamenti választásokra augusztus végén és szeptember elején került volna sor, azt a Smer-SD nyerte volna meg a szavazatok 21,2 %-val.

  A Smer az augusztusi eredményekhez képest szinte semmit sem rontott, holott a vietnami vállalkozó ügye még le sem csengett.

  A Robert Fico vezette Smert az ellenzéki SaS követi a szavazatok 16%-val. A harmadik helyen a nemzetiek (SNS) végeztek, akikre a szavazók 10,9%-a adná a voksát.

  A parlamentbe összesen nyolc párt kerülne be (Smer-SD, SaS, SNS, Sme rodina, OĽaNO-NOVA, ĽSNS, KDH, Most-Híd). A parlamenti küszöb alatt maradna a Progresívne Slovensko (4,6%), az MKP  (3%) és a a Spolu (2,3%).

    Az extrémista ĽSNS úgy tűnik, hogy veszít az erejéből. A legújabb AKO-felmérés szerint ugyanis a választóknak csupán a 8,6%-a adná rá a szavazatukat, ami az előző hónaphoz képest 2,3 százalékpontos visszaesést jelent.

  A parlamentbe a Most-Hidat megelőzve, 7,6%-kal a jelenleg parlamenten kívüli KDH is bekerülne.

  A jelenlegi koalíció már nem alkotna többséget a parlamentben. Amennyiben az SaS, Sme rodina, OĽaNO-NOVA és a KDH megegyezne a Most-Híddal, akkor a parlamentben 82 képviselővel kényelmesen többséget tudnának alkotni.

Orbán umarmt die slowakischen Rechtspopulisten

Geolitico:   Ungarns Regierungschef Victor Orbán und der neu gewählte rechtspopulistische slowakische Ministerpräsident Igor Matovic beschwören ihre gemeinsamen Interessen. In der Slowakei ist im vergangenen Februar das Parlament neu gewählt worden. Die Leute um George Soros und Angela Merkel hatten auf einen Wechsel gehofft, der dem Bündnis der osteuropäischen Brudervölker schaden könnte. Sie hatten dazu ein slowakisches Wahlbündnis aus Progresívne Slovensko und Spolu-Obcianska Demokracia geschmiedet, welches aber knapp an der Sperrklausel scheiterte und nicht im Parlament vertreten ist. Die mit Ungarn, Tschechien und Polen gut harmonierende slowakische Sozialdemokratie wurde abgewählt, und das rechtspopulistische Bündnis Obyčajní Ľudia a Nezávislé Osobnosti (Einfache Leute und unabhängige Personen OĽaNO) wurde stärkste Kraft und stellt mit Igor Matovic den Ministerpräsidenten. Stärkung der Wirtschaftsbeziehungen Nun kam es zu einem ersten Treffen zwischen Igor Matovic und Victor Orbán. Ungarn und Slowaken wollen gemeinsam erfolgreich sein. Das verkündete Ministerpräsident Viktor Orbán, nachdem er den slowakischen Ministerpräsidenten im Karmeliterkloster in Budapest empfangen hatte. Orbán dankte Matovic für seine jüngsten Gesten gegenüber den Ungarn im Oberland (gemeint ist die Slowakei) und sagte: Ungarn ist stolz auf die hier lebende slowakische Gemeinschaft (In Ungarn leben auch 18.000 Slowaken). Eslovaquia es el país de la UE con mejores cifras respecto a la crisis del coronavirus y fue de los primeros en hacer obligatorias las mascarillas, siendo la jefa de Estado la primera en llevarlas en actos oficiales. Sin embargo, la prensa internacional las ha analizado como un complemento de moda dejando de lado su gestión.

Está considerada un símbolo de la lucha contra la corrupción en Eslovaquia y una de las pocas políticas sociales y progresistas en una zona de Europa marcada por gobiernos autoritarios y que reprimen los derechos de las mujeres y de las personas LGTBI, como ocurre en la Hungría de Orbán o en la Polonia gobernada por el partido Ley y Justicia. Pero durante la pandemia de la covid-19 ha sido noticia en todo el mundo por saber combinar el color de sus mascarillas.

Zuzana Čaputová fue elegida presidenta de la República de Eslovaquia, es decir, jefa de Estado, en marzo de 2019 para un mandato de cinco años tras una campaña en la que empezó séptima en las encuestas. Se convirtió así en la primera mujer jefa de Estado del país centroeuropeo y en un símbolo de la lucha contra la corrupción en el mismo. Apenas un año antes, el entonces primer ministro Robert Fico se había visto obligado a dimitir por su posible implicación en el asesinato del periodista de investigación Ján Kuciak y de su pareja, Martina Kušnírová, tiroteados en febrero de 2018.

Čaputová había participado en 2017 en la creación del partido Progresívne Slovensko (Eslovaquia Progresista) y ya era una figura muy conocida en la vida pública del país como abogada anticorrupción y ecologista. En 2016 fue una de las ganadoras del Premio Goldman en reconocimiento a sus 14 años de lucha contra un vertedero en Pezinok, su ciudad en las afueras de la capital, Bratislava. Como presidenta de la República tiene poderes en la renovación del Tribunal Supremo en un país en el que este mismo marzo se detenía a 13 magistrados por sus conexiones con la mafia y con el entramado corrupto del partido SMER y del empresario Marián Kočner, todavía en juicio acusado de planear las muertes de Kuciak y Kušnírová.

Pero la imagen de Čaputová aparecía en medios de todo el mundo durante la toma de posesión del nuevo primer ministro, Igor Matovič, por un detalle. El color de su mascarilla combinaba con el de su vestido burdeos y el complemento de prevención durante la pandemia se convertía en un “complemento de moda”.

La diseñadora Jana Kuzmová, que trabaja en el equipo de Čaputová, confirmó que tuvieron “un gran debate sobre la combinación de colores y al final decidimos ir adelante porque la presidenta no tiene ningún problema con la extravagancia”. Como el equipo de diseño optó por una tela que cumplía el criterio de estética, pero no era muy apta para la verdadera protección, le añadieron una capa de algodón. “Se trataba de un acto oficial y queríamos que todo combinara. Nuestro objetivo era mantener la elegancia y animar a la gente, que dudaba de si era una buena idea usar la mascarilla”, añade Kuzmová.

Días después de su primera aparición con mascarilla, la propia jefa de Estado confirmó en la televisión local TA3 que se había fijado en las reacciones en los medios. “Intentaba que la toma de posesión se celebrara de la manera más digna posible y el aspecto visual tiene que ser digno también. Creo que este asunto ha resonado en el extranjero porque todavía no es muy habitual que los altos representantes de un país usen mascarillas en actos oficiales”, aseveró Čaputová en el estudio antes de que recibiera como regalo otra mascarilla roja por parte del presentador.

Enfoque machista

Trinidad Núñez, profesora de Psicología Social en la Facultad de Comunicación de la Universidad de Sevilla, concluye que el tratamiento de la imagen de la presidenta eslovaca “se puede describir como un comportamiento explícitamente machista. No lo puedo decir más claro”. La tendencia a evaluar a las mujeres por su ropa “es un arraigado comportamiento sexista que ha permeado a los medios de comunicación”.

Apenas un par de medios en inglés y el español Vanity Fair destacaban que la presidenta eslovaca estaba dando ejemplo en uno de los países que hizo obligatorio el uso de la mascarilla de forma más temprana. Eslovaquia, que declaró el estado de alarma el 11 de marzo con apenas diez casos confirmados de coronavirus es, al momento del cierre de este reportaje, el país con menos personas fallecidas de la Unión Europea (UE) durante la pandemia, 28.

Sin embargo, los titulares preferían ir hacia la moda: “EL DRESS CODE DEL CORONAVIRUS. Zuzana Čaputová, presidenta de Eslovaquia, conjunta sus mascarillas con sus looks”. “La presidenta de Eslovaquia ya conjunta las mascarillas con sus vestidos. Su gesto ha sido considerado por algunos usuarios como frívolo ante la grave situación sanitaria”. “La presidenta de Eslovaquia combina sus outfits con sus mascarillas”.

No es ninguna novedad. Sin salir de España, no son pocos los ejemplos de políticas juzgadas por su aspecto y no por su actividad, como ocurrió en su momento con la portavoz de la CUP Anna Gabriel, insultada por un columnista de derechas, o con la vicepresidenta del Gobierno Carmen Calvo, atacada por llevar escote en una reunión con la Conferencia Episcopal. En el ámbito internacional cabe recordar la polémica alrededor del rojo de labios de la congresista estadounidense Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, que la política ha decidido convertir en símbolo de su autonomía personal.

Núñez resume que “lo relevante es que lleve mascarilla y decirlo, porque la presidenta se convierte en un modelo ciudadano”. Y añade que “si se describe o se señala en la información que se ofrezca que la presidenta lleva mascarilla y se pasa al asunto que corresponda, todo lo demás se convierte en un perverso adorno a la noticia”.

Protocolo e imagen

Katarína Strýčková, experta en protocolo que ha ejercido como asesora de la presidencia de Eslovaquia, advierte, para empezar, que no hay reglas que se pueden aplicar a la mascarilla en la vestimenta de la jefa de Estado eslovaca. “No creo que ningún jefe de protocolo se haya planteado jamás cómo se deben llevar mascarillas en actos oficiales”, cuenta y recuerda que “la comunicación no verbal también juega un papel en la actuación de los representantes del Estado en esto actos. No siempre los medios nos permiten escuchar todo lo que dicen en sus discursos, pero su aspecto transmite un mensaje”.

Por su parte Oľga Gyárfášová, directora del Instituto de Estudios Europeos y Relaciones Internacional de la Universidad Comenius de Bratislava, señala que la figura de Čaputová ya ha sufrido ataques dentro de su propio país. “Durante la campaña se la acusó de ser demasiado liberal por estar divorciada y convivir con una pareja con la que no tiene intención de casarse”, cuenta y apunta también que fue criticada por haberse posicionado en defensa de los derechos de las personas LGBTI. Sin embargo, subraya que “hoy es la política en la que más confían los eslovacos, según las encuestas”.

Čaputová es la única jefa de Estado en el llamado Grupo de Visegrado -Chequia, Eslovaquia, Hungría y Polonia- que apoya abiertamente el derecho al aborto o el matrimonio igualitario. El primer ministro húngaro, Víktor Orbán, que encarcela opositores por criticar al Gobierno en redes sociales, bautizó el modelo de su país o el polaco, donde Bruselas considera que la independencia judicial está en riesgo violando las normas de la propia Unión Europeas, como “democracias iliberales”: gobiernos conservadores en los que las decisiones misóginas u homófobas son comunes y entre los que en, en 2018, la figura de Čaputová representó un rayo de esperanza.

Como muestra de la tónica política de la región, durante los meses de la cuarentena el Gobierno de la vecina Hungría aprobó una norma que prohíbe el cambio de género en el registro civil para las personas transexuales. Al mismo tiempo solo las protestas de las organizaciones feministas y de derechos humanos impedían que en Polonia se aprobase una ley que prohibía las clases de educación sexual en las escuelas y restringía el derecho al aborto.

En la misma Eslovaquia el pasado otoño el Parlamento rechazó una propuesta de Ley del partido de extrema derecha Partido Popular Nuestra Eslovaquia (L’SNS) en la que se proponía que fuese obligatorio que las mujeres que deseasen abortar tuviesen que contemplar antes una radiografía del feto. Además desde el pasado marzo el nuevo Gobierno del centroderechista Igor Matovič incluye al partido conservador SME Rodina (Somos Familia, en eslovaco), contrario al matrimonio igualitario.

La elección de la primera mujer presidenta en Eslovaquia es, para Oľga Gyárfášová, un hito “en la medida en que demostró que el techo de cristal podía romperse”. Čaputová “se convierte en un buen patrón de roles para otras mujeres y ayuda a que en Eslovaquia otras mujeres entren en política, ya que en nuestra sociedad faltaba un modelo de rol positivo”. En este sentido la analista destaca el papel institucional jugado por la presidenta durante la pandemia de la COVID-19, en la que ha sido la primera en explicar las medidas de seguridad sanitaria, como las mascarillas y los guantes, y las ha utilizado en eventos institucionales como el 75 aniversario de la liberación del país de la invasión nazi durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial.

Es en este sentido que Katarína Strýčková apuesta por una “comunicación no verbal” que use el protocolo de las mujeres en política para enviar mensajes que acaben con el doble rasero en la forma en la que se las enjuicia: “Por una parte, aliviando la presión del perfeccionismo que sienten muchas mujeres, pero por otra transmitiendo la idea de que las mujeres en política deben ser escuchadas por sus ideas o su trabajo y no por su aspecto”.

Focus-felmérés: Kiska pártja a parlamenti küszöb alá küldheti Bugárékat

A FOCUS közvélemény-kutató ügynökség legutóbbi felmérésében azt vizsgálta meg, hogy mekkora választási potenciálja van Andrej Kiska köztársasági elnök készülő pártjának, illetve hogy mely pártokra jelent veszélyt

A FOCUS közvélemény-kutató ügynökség legutóbbi felmérésében azt vizsgálta meg, hogy mekkora választási potenciálja van Andrej Kiska köztársasági elnök készülő pártjának, illetve hogy mely pártokra jelent veszélyt. Elsősorban a Most-Hidat és a jobboldali ellenzéki pártokat emelte ki.

  Andrej Kiska készülő pártja akár 25,1 százalékos eredményt is elérhetne a választásokon. A FOCUS szerint ekkora választási potenciállal rendelkezik. A megkérdezettek 4,1 százaléka biztosan szavazna rá, 21 százalék inkább igennel válaszolt. Ugyanakkor 65,5 százalék nem tudja elképzelni, hogy Kiska új mozgalmára voksoljon (29,7 százalék inkább nem, 35,8 százalék inkább igen).

  Még magasabb értékek jönnek ki, ha a mintából leszámoljuk azokat, akik a válaszadás során jelezték, nem vennének részt a parlamenti választásokon: a választási potenciál egycsapásra 28 százalékra nőne.

  Párhuzam Procházkáékkal? 

  Összehasonlításként a hasonló beállítottságú Progresívne Slovensko választási potenciálja 9,6 százalékos volt. Az egykor az ellenzk üdvöskéjének tekintett, mára a süllyesztőben eltűnt Sieť#-é 30 százalékos volt,és megalakulása után azonnal kétszámjegyű eredményeket ért el a közvélemény-kutatáson.

  A hasonlóságok ellenére óvatosan vonjunk le következtetéseket, Procházka pártja négy hónapos működés után mérette meg a választási potenciálját, Kiska pártja pedig még meg sem alakult. Kiska előnye, hogy köztársasági elnökként közismert személyiség, jelentős médiafigyelem övezi, így jól kiépített politikai krédóval rendelkezik.

  „A felnőtt lakosság negyede nem kevés, tekintve a többi párt preferenciáit. A jövőben azonban az lesz a lényeges, hogy milyen mértékben sikerült megtölteni tartalommal a pártot és mit kezd majd a jobboldali ellenzéki spektrummal, merthogy alapvetően abba a környezetbe ágyazódik bele”

  mondta Martin Slosiarik a FOCUS elemzője a Postoj konzervatív napilapnak. A Postoj rendelte meg az ügynökségtől Kisa pártjának potiencál-felmérését. Az elemző arra is felhívta a figyelmet, szinte lehetetlen megjósolni, milyen népszerű lesz a párt, ha csak jövőre (az elnökválasztás évében) alakul meg.

  A legnagyobb vesztesek

  Andrej Kiska készülő pártja az OĽaNO, az SaS, a Sme rodina és a Most-Híd szavazótáborából csábítana magához választókat. A legtöbbet Igor Matovičéktól. Az ő szavazóik fele hajlandó lenne Kiska pártjára adni szavazatát. Az SaS választóinak 42 százaléka pártolhat át, vagy legalábbi mérlegelné ennek lehetőségét. A Sme Rodina is ráfizethet a köztársasági elnök készülő mozgalmára: választóinak 36 százaléka váltana színt. A legnagyobb veszély mégis épp a Most-Hidat fenyegeti.

  A Most-Híd a 2016-os választásokkor a korrupció-ellenes kampányával, a programjával és koalíciós potenciáljával szólította meg legsikeresebben (zömében szlovák) választóit. A választói nagy része kénytelen volt csalódni, mert Bugárék koalícióra léptek a Smerrel, így a korrupció-ellenes vonalon erősen meggyengült vegyespárt mára a parlamenti küszöb közelébe süllyedt.

  A felmérés eredménye között a legérdekesebb, hogy az MKP választóinak 37 százaléka venné fontolóra, hogy Kiska pártjára szavaz, ami magasabb, mint a Most-Híd esetében. A FOCUS azonban kiemeli, hogy a magyar párt választóinak mintája felmérésben elég kicsi volt, így nagy a hibahatár.

  A FOCUS szerint, ha Andrej Kiska valóban pártot alapít, a vegyespárt választói 30 százalékát veszítheti el, amivel már jócskán a parlamenti küszöb alá csúszna.

    A liberálisok bukják a legtöbbet

  A  parlamenten kívüli pártokat is tartalmazó listán a legveszélyeztetettebbek a balliberális Progresívne Slovensko és a Beblavý-féle Spolu.

  Ugyanakkor egyáltalán nincs félnivaló Kotlebáéknak, az ő szavazóik egyértelműen elutasítják Kiska pártját. A Smer és az SNS választói közül pedig csak 15 százalék venné fontolóra, hogy átpártoljon.

  Szintén kicsit paradox helyzetet mutat a politikai irányultság és értékoldalak szerint felosztás. Kiska pártjára leginkább a jobboldali érzelmű választók szavazhatnak, kisebb részben a centristák és a baloldaliak. Az értékeket illeti, az új párt választóinak zöme centrista vagy liberális, a konzervatívok kissé kevesebben vannak. Még a legkonzervatívabbak között is van egy 27 százalékot kitevő réteg, amely hajlandó lenne szavazni Kiska pártjára.

  A reginális eloszlás szerint a legtöbb szavazatra az új párt Eperjes, Nagyszombat, Trencsén és Pozsony megyében számíthat. A legkevesebbre Kassa és Nyitra megyében.

  A felmérés a Postoj konzervatív napilap felkérésére, 1001 személy megkérdezésével készült.
