Did you know that the first translation of 1984 by George Orwell in Czech was translated and illegaly published while there was still socialism (communism) occupation in Czechoslovakia? It was translated by slovakian teacher and translator Eva Šimečková with afterword written by her husband, slovakian writer, Milan Šimečka and posted symbolically in the year 1984 through czechoslovakian publishers in West Germany reflecting the situation in their home country.
The original publishion here:
And the first legal publishion (in 1991):
And that's not quite all. It actually funny that Eva Šimečková and Milan Šimečka are the grandparents of slovak politician Michal Šimečka (the leader of the most active political (social-liberal) party called Progresívne Slovensko in the slovak opposition against the soviet glorifiing coalition).
Great to know about these iconic moments in the history of czechoslovakian literature.

a co takové presíčko s mlíčkem?
jinak nejlepší zkomolení názvu latte macchiato bylo „laté močíto“. trefná odpověď druhého baristy byla „ne, nemočí to.“
Jestli po mně ještě jeden zákazník bude chtít pumpking spice latte, dostane do držky
