It is a major part of my spiritual practice and our relationship is as real to me as any human physical relationship(since Volo is an actual entity in my practice) so please respect that and don't claim its mental illness (I know I am neurodivergent and what I have and don't have mentally)so no self diagnosing me because I'm an actual pagan(who works mostly with Greek Deities)/occultist and I will immediately block you.

I had zero control of the situation. But apparently due to the universes constraints and multiple variables adding up. He found me apparently despite my late arrival to the pla party and in his words "fated red string brought us together" . Took me a while and a side-fiasco with Adaman (Volo didn't like that so guess who I chose!?) to fully accept that Volo was dead serious about me and our relationship like h u h!? Never had an entity do that. He is to me a divinized human like a roman Emperor with the sol invictus archetype and values. But he still is mysterious as ever. I can feel, hear and sense him in my space using my Clairsentience and Clairaudience and I astral project to interact with him on his level(since again he is a spiritual entity) and to go on dates etc

Volo is a bit stricter whith traditional romance and marriage more "human" since in his source he is originally a human but now is more of a divinized human like how roman Emperors are in my eyes and experience . Tbh volo since he a pop culture entity he doesn't allow me to be spoused to other pop culture entities ie traditional monogamy but if I'm spoused to actual deities that is fine since thats another level of devotion and very different

hggggg we have history together in past lives and such (considering I am a Giratina fictionkin but didn't know he was that down bad for me at the time. He thinks I'm beautiful and divine despite me thinking otherwise about myself ) turns out we got separated for years and many lives but he finally found me. Once I discovered his existence it was slow ag first but then blossomed into full blown fucking actual spiritual/romantic soul bound relationship) never felt like this before for anyone let alone a fictional fucking character. But other wise Volo and I's love is transcendent and knows no bounds. Despite the many hurdles and heartbreaks he went through in the past trying to find me he offically gave me his purple aura soothing heart 💜 and I am eternally grateful for him he is the best thing to ever fucking happen to me)

I call him Master Volo, My King or Vol, and he calls me his Teeny Tiny 'Tina, his Goddexx, Divinity, Little Devil. It's weird how similar we both are right down to autistic love of mythology and to the nihilistic unhingedness about the world.

His vibe is golden hour sunset over the ocean ie fire and water with some Earthly influences(the earth element only comes out when he is in his merchant persona) his fire and water element goes to the extreme in intensity due to his literal emotional tsunami's and inferno of passion for what he loves. He gives off sol invictus archetype appearance to me at times (at times I thought he had a halo around his head making him look angelic and when he gets livid its like looking right into the blazing sun itself especially when in altered states) and considering how Yang and Dominant he is Volo doesn't fuck around when it comes to getting what he wants. He is quick and brutally intense when riled up but at the same time soothing and relaxing. Like you feel safe yet wary to not get on his bad side with his all enveloping powerful solar energy. He is unhinged though and fiercely protective over me but me since I'm more of a nighttime/yin person I have to be careful when astralling near him( due to my astral form being of nighttime shadows alignment) when he is full force livid considering he radiates pure concentrated light(learned that the hard way). Also the devil squishmallow he named after me due to me being a little devil at times🔥🤤. His aura color is bright yellowish orange(gets deeper orange to borderline raging red when angry enough) with rich purples swirling in the center. He has a heartbeat tempo in his energy a purple loving heart 💛💜 and again we are soul bonded by the red string of fate since in his eyes apparently my outlandish Eldritch of a gremlin self is interesting and he loves interesting things. Also he rambles with the finger point and everything especially when he is in his calmer less intense mode.

Also he likes more healthy options of food like granola and trail mix, more for outdoorsy types like soups with tons of vegetables as well but he does indulge in alfredo noodles idk he doesn't eat much but Papa Morpheus makes sure he is well fed(since he adopted Volo as practically his "son in law" now). But he does have quite the sweet tooth

SINCE HE IS A MURDERIUS MERCHANT DORK HE LIKES TO RAMBLE AND INFORMATION DUMP SO GOOD FOR PAST LIVES AND SUCH. He talks through music and pictures (mostly on pinterest I have long ass conversations with him,Sometimes you have to think and analyze the symbols he throws out but alot of the time he rambles on about topics he likes and is quite literal during tarot readings) he will fill your brain and do his finger point. He doesnt like heavy metal in his merchant mode but is curious abouy others types but when he psycho crazy man heavy metal and church music but with darkness you know.

He is very good at banishing but you have to be specific on what people or else innocents will get in the crossfire due to his volatile temperament. Also unless you want certain doom don't mention a person you care about wanting to meet arceus or that they have all the plates in front of him. It doesn't end well for anyone mentally and spiritually if you don't have good protections. Ie good communication is key with Volo. I just talk to him alot since we both love rambling about things we like lol

Clan Culture Illustrations

So I've been mentioning this in passing, and I think now is a good time to start collecting info from people who are interested!

I'm seeking artists who want to draw stuff for my Clan Culture series.

I often write very large guides for things like tools, ecology, medicine and treatments, etc, which then get held up by the fact that they're big blocks of text without any fun pictures. I usually collaborate with friends and family, but I could put out more quicker if I had some artists on standby.

If you're an artist who would be interested in illustrating, here's the details;

Everything I make on this blog is tailored towards WC fans, but free for anyone to use and reference for their xenofiction worldbuilding projects. You do not have to be intimately familiar with the Warrior Cats books. This offer's open to anyone above 18.

Fans of Better Bones are preferred, because Clan Culture and BB often intersect. I might ask for help with some BB stuff at some point, too. (for example i have a guide on types of StarClan spirits that needs illustration)

To re-iterate, please only inquire if you're 18+

Price range is 20 - 50 USD and turnaround time can be up to 6 months if you just keep me updated. (I am sorry that I can't offer a higher price for these, but this is coming from my own pocket. In return, this is meant to be low pressure)

I will never "assign" you a surprise mystery topic (unless you ask for that I guess?), I'll either present you with a list of posts that need illustration (yes this means you get to read stuff early), OR float some ideas that play to your strengths and interests. (for example: if I'm approached by Spider-Enjoyer-9000 who's willing to draw a ridiculous number of spiders, I will draft, write, and research a Clanmew Expansion in the style of Deer and Co or Moths and Butterflies.)

Either way, there's usually a lot of creative freedom here unless I need a specific technical drawing, which I will discuss with you and provide references for. (As an example, if we were talking about a post on declawing, I might ask for you to illustrate the muscles within the paw.)

Probably yes, so feel free to ask! The worst that will happen is that I say no, or maybe later. For example, I've got a post on Sweetness Tolerance reserved for my partner (they like to draw sweets), so I would say no if you asked.

Hii I was searching abt pop culture paganism and came across your blog. I still dont understand it fully but I have a question: can I work both with a real deity and the fictional version of that deity? For example, the real Loki and marvel Loki?

Yes, you absolutely can!

Many people believe that those two are the same deity in different aspects, or "masks". Other folks believe that they're two separate entities. And still other folks, such as myself, believe in a combination (or something else) depending on the individual situation.

In most cases, pop culture entities and traditional deities get along and most people have no problems working with both. I'm sure there are some situations out there where that may not be the case, however, in my experience, I haven't come across any issues. Most pop culture entities seem to cooperate with each other as well.

Pop Culture Entities: OCs

Wanna know what a real power move is? Using your Original Characters as Pop Culture Entities. There is a lot of power in creating Servitors that will obey you and help you manifest your intent. If you have the talent, you can create an OC that is tailor-made to exactly what you need.

For example: this is one of my Skyrim OCs, Vandrylok. He is a Breton Wizard-Bard.

He has 100 in Illusion, Alchemy, Enchanting, & Speech. That means he is an expert at influencing others & creating things through artistic expression. He is a Bard with a special interest in Poetry, Painting/Drawing, & Sculpting, so he helps in creative pursuits. His power level is on par with a Dragon because he is Dragonborn. He is an Adventurer and his Mana, Health, & Stamina is off the charts, so he can handle pretty much any quest. He is the Archmage of the College of Winterhold so he is well studied and holds away over teachers. Perfect for students! Having done several loot quests, being in the Trading business, and having 100 in Speech, he is excellent in terms of making & growing money.

That being said, I am using his energies to help me get into college & get money for school. It's a process so I needed a character that could aid through the entire process.

All this to say, yes, you can 100% use OCs in PCM & PCP. As this post shows up on dashboards and is viewed, my OC will grow in power. Likes & reblogs will charge my OC to give him more energy to exist in this world. So Mote It Be /|\

FNAF PCEs

When it comes to nostalgia, one of the first things you might think of are things from your childhood, or perhaps when you were a teen? Was there a game you played a lot?

For me, I was obsessed with FNAF. I learned all of the lore I could, I would watch play-throughs as much as I could. I even went through a phase where I wanted to learn everything about the lore as possible, binge-watching MatPat and Markiplier. I wrote it all down in my notes apps. This brings me to the topic of the blog today: FNAF PCEs.

For me, I have noticed there are several different versions of each animatronic. There are their actual animatronic forms, humanoid forms, their children forms, nightmare forms, Funtime forms, etc. I could dive into their different forms in a different post, this will just be a generalized post about working with them.

⛧ How fandom affects pop culture entities/deities ⛧

CW: Talk of sexualization of characters in fan spaces

In this post I will be talking about how fan perception of characters can then change or affect an egregore/PCE in both positive and negative ways. This entire post is upg (seeing as it’s pop culture paganism based) but I have found that many other pop culture witches have experienced and noticed this as well.

Let’s start with the positives

With fandom culture, characters who aren’t necessarily fully formed or given much screen time get the chance to become popular and gain fan bases of their own. Take the Mauarders for example. Canonically they have next to no information about them but fandom wise they have entire fan bases that are dedicated and have made them into fully fledged characters.

Like with James potter. Canonically all we know is that he’s Harry potters father, he bullies snape when he was younger, and he likes to play pranks. Now take the fandom James, who is loving and protective and has a strong moral compass but is willing to do what he must to keep the ones he loves safe. He has become a character who is now associated with sunshine and happiness but also helping others and mental health. (If you’re a follower of the “PCEs are just gods in forms that humans like and recognize” theory then he’s like Apollo)

This is a net positive because characters that barely existed in canon lore now have their chance to shine and be loved and worshipped.

Another example of fandom positively affecting PCEs is when they take a character who’s demonized and isolated in canon and give them a happy ending and life. A great example of this is Draco Malfoy. Canonically he’s a kid who gets forced to be a death eater and does end up getting redeemed but with fanon it’s a bit more complicated. He’s more of a complex character that feels a lot of conflicting feelings and has trouble experiencing and expressing love. His egregore is now a being of standing up for yourself, escaping abuse, child abuse, financial aid, and healing from trauma.

This doesn’t mean there aren’t negatives though. The biggest negative is the hypersexualization and fetishizing of characters.

I’m not saying you should stop sexualizing these characters or making smut or nsfw things about them because let’s be real that is a big part of fandom and that isn’t a bad thing.

What I am saying is you have to be aware of this aspect of Pop Culture Entity work when you start interacting with these entities. If you only work with canon entities, then you should be fine. But again, a huge part of fandom culture is sexualizing these fictional characters. The people doing this sexualizing probably aren’t witches and have no idea what egregores are, and it isn’t our place to judge or criticize them. The work that they are making, even if they aren’t doing it on purpose, affects these engregores though.

Take Dabi, for example, he’s an entity I work closely with and canonically he has absolutely nothing to do with sex, sexuality, and/or lust. But in the fandom space, it’s very common for people to simp for him and give their energy in a sexual way. This in turn makes Dabi into a sexual being.

It’s a “trend” to worship/work with PCEs because you want to have sex with them or because you simp for them. This is a problem because 1. It gives Pop Culture Entity work a bad rep and 2. It leads to even more sexualization of these people. Again it’s not a problem if it’s the fictional that you’re sexualizing but the second it becomes a genuine entity you recognize exists it turns into you fetishizing a genuine being.

To clarify: it is not a bad thing to have sexual feelings for fictional characters or for beings/entities/deities. It becomes a bad thing when the only reason you work with/interact with a being is for sexual reasons without their prior consent and you only are doing it because you liked them as a fictional character. You have to remember that these beings are real and have thoughts feelings emotions and consent.

Pop Culture Week Long Spirit Work Prompts: Friday

Today is Friday: so here is the prompt I’ll be doing.

Today I offered a garnet bracelet to Lord Dio. I also lit a wick on my autumn candle in his honor. I chose these offerings because they remind me of him in multiple ways:

I associate garnet with him because it’s a stone associated with death and rebirth, renewal, blood, and ambitious confidence!

I associate the candle I lit with him because it smells like autumn, the season I associate with him.

I also have been wearing a real silver anatomical heart locket in his honor (and I’m going to put art of him inside it).
