The real dog that inspired Ghost Trick's "Missile".
As many people on Tumblr have already pointed out, Ghost Trick is a game that is best experienced going in fully-blind. It offers amazing puzzle-based gameplay, a charming cast of characters and a unique story with plenty of twists and turns that will leave you both stunned and fulfilled by the end. My one true regret with the game is that I can't experience it for the first time again.
So, in trying to hype up the game for its release on Steam, Switch, Playstation and XBox, I decided to go for a novel approach: Instead of gushing about the game and potentially spoiling it for you, I will instead offer some facts about the real-life dog that inspired one of the game's most memorable characters. Knowing those facts won't spoil the game for you and will in fact make you appreciate its story a whole lot more, so feel free to reblog away, adding any facts that I might have missed about the game's Charismatic Cheerful Capable Caring Canine.
You know… This adorable little guy:
Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Missile Takumi!
Missile was a pomeranian Puppy adopted by Shu Takumi on 2007. He was named after a dog appearing in Gyakuten Saiban 1 (aka Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney 1). The dog in the original game was a throwaway gag, not essential in the overall game’s story. The real-life little pomeranian however proved to be an essential part of Shu Takumi’s life.
(Source)
(More facts after the break)
Missile was Shu Takumi’s best friend. The little doggie was always there for him, always available to lift his spirits with a cheerful bark when he was feeling down and always offering a friendly paw even in the gloomiest of circumstances. Missile was a truly loyal friend, offering unconditional love and friendship, helping Shu Takumi get over even the most difficult of times.
(Source)
So when time came to make Ghost Trick, a game about ghosts, regrets, mystery, loyalty, friendship and ultimate redemption, it was perfectly natural for Shu Takumi to give his best little friend a part in the story.
The game’s developers didn’t initially want to put Missile in the game. They didn’t have a problem with putting a dog as a character, they had a problem with the fact that the dog was a Pomeranian and they would have problems animating his fur in-game. Shu Takumi however insisted and eventually, after meeting the little doggie and falling under its charm, the developers relented into putting him in the game in all his Pomeranian glory.
(Image from lparchive)
Not only did they put him in the game, in fact, they went above and beyond in capturing his charm perfectly. They studied his moves and mannerisms, in order to get his movements down pat.
(Image from lparchive)
Missile’s iconic in-game bark was actually a recording of sound-designer’s Nobuyuki Shimizu Labrador Retriever who was coincidentally also named Missile! Shu Takumi wanted to record his own Missile, but Shimizu-san also wanted to put a part of his own dog in the game and Takumi eventually relented.
So, yeah, Missile in the game was voiced by Missile. Just not THE Missile.
In order to make up for not recording his own dog for the game Shu Takumi made a “character song” for Ghost Trick’s Missile:.
youtube
Yes, those barks you hear in the song are recordings of THE Missile, no substitutes this time! This is how the little Pomeranian used to bark!
The song was made to celebrate Ghost Trick’s 3rd year release anniversary and even though the song talks about Ghost Trick’s Missile, a lot of the behaviors mentioned in the lyrics (such as Missile’s tendency to climb on the sofa and then needing help to get back down) are things that Takumi’s pomeranian friend used to do.
The song was later remade by CAP-JAMS and included in the soundtrack of the 2023 remaster of the game.
youtube
And, yes, the original Missile’s barks are still there.
If it’s not perfectly clear, Shu Takumi really wanted to tell everyone how awesome his little dog was. He made the little dog an essential part of Ghost Trick and stealthily made the world, at least that small part of it that played Ghost Trick, fall in love with him.
Ghost Trick was released under critical acclaim, even receiving a nomination for Gamespot’s Best 2011 Puzzle Game, but the fact that it was released near the end of the DS’s lifespan and a lackluster advertising campaign made it 2011’s “Best Game You’ve Never Played”.
The game, however, slowly gained a cult following and within that following, the story of Missile resonated with everyone and became one of its standout points. He might not have been the player-character but he was definitely the show-stealer.
(To tell any more would be going into spoiler territory, but seriously go buy and play Ghost Trick any way you can. It really deserves a bigger audience).
So beloved was the little dog in fact that when Ace Attorney was eventually adapted into an anime, the animators couldn’t resist putting him into episodes 13 and 30 of the first and second season respectively. In fact, in the anime Missile was indirectly responsible for the “class trial” incident that shaped Naruhodo/Wright’s life.
Before you ask, no, Missile was not voicing himself this time (something about working with animals and children). He was voiced by Tomokazu Seki in the Japanese version and by Kyle Hebert in the English dub. Still a nice tribute to Takumi’s little doggie.
One final Missile fact that I can’t find a proper segway for is that Missile also got along surprisingly well with Wagahai and Sankichii, the cats that later also entered the Takumi household, though, the way Takumi tells this, it was the cats that called the shots more often than not.
Missile passed away on the 10th of November 2018. The way Shu Takumi puts it, the valiant little doggie waited for him to return from the US, to spend some final time with him before passing on. We don’t know the exact details just that it was sudden and unexpected.
(Source)
Missile is no longer with us, but his memory lives on. He will always be remembered by Shu Takumi as the friend that always was by his side… and always will be with him.
…and he will always be remembered by the gaming community as the little Pomeranian that stole everybody’s hearts and made Ghost Trick a truly memorable experience.
MISSAIRU TONDEKE!
(Missile’s Launched!)
#ghost trick#missile#puppy#shu takumi#ace attorney#Seriously play Ghost Trick NOW! Thank me later.#Youtube

Getting a Dog With Bakugou Headcanons
You're probably dating or married when you pop this question.
And you better believe Bakugou won't even broach the subject unless you ask it first.
"Can we get a doggy? Pretty please?"
You're giving him your classic puppy-dog eyes that he's seen from you a million times before.
And if you get a dog, he knows he'll have to deal with twice the amount of begging.
He wants to say yes to you, but no to the dog. That doesn't make sense at all, but he just really hates saying no to you.
He is just not too fond of dogs, cats, humans, living creatures, inanimate objects, etc. He's a hard sell on everything in life.
He's not 100% against the idea but he'll hear you out because he'd hate to disappoint you. Honestly, he'd rather be shot than see you upset.
However, you also care way too much about Bakugou, the love of your life, so you take the time to convince him rather than inundate him with pleading that will inevitably wear his defenses down. You want him to be happy too!
You point out all the helpful things dogs can do, all the tricks they can learn, the jobs they can get, and the competitions they can win.
Bakugou really likes that last one! You know the boy like the back of your hand.
You point out some of the stronger and sturdier dogs because you know that's more up his alley, but your heart is calling you to the smaller, sweeter, and funnier dogs instead.
Bakugou says the latter types of dogs remind him of you, and you hope that this is a compliment!
(It is)
You go to the shelter to rescue a little fella. It's hard to say if you'll find a dog that simultaneously is in desperate need of a good home while also is capable of doing all the tricks Bakugou wants to teach it. A lot of dogs here have their own issues to go through before even thinking of doing something like competitions, so you text your friends in the Bakusquad to encourage them to adopt the ones you don't pick.
Somehow, you find the right dog for you both.
It's a corgi!
You had a lot of dogs you wanted, but it was really hard to pick. You suggested a Pomeranian because it reminded you of Bakugou, but he shot the idea down solely due to your reasoning. Now that you think about it, maybe it was better that you didn't get a Pomeranian. After all, with Bakugou in your life, having another Pomeranian would just be redundant.
Bakugou doesn't like that line of thinking either.
So your corgi will suffice for now. You're not sure what jobs he can get, but he is definitely good for competitions. You've seen some intense corgi racing on the track before. And although corgis are inherently goofy creatures, Bakugou could at least appreciate how helpful they were. He still had a problem with the little guy's overly judgmental face though.
"What are you staring at?!"
"Aw, don't worry honey! Maybe he just thinks you look cool?"
Once you brought the dog home, the little guy was excited to explore the place. You made sure to get some good step cushions so he could hop onto the couch without hurting his legs or back. You gave him all the food and love he could ever ask for, and you even researched online how to prep your own homemade meals and treats for the guy.
Needless to say, Bakugou was jealous.
"You've replaced me for him!" he says.
He's not wrong. He's currently looking at you in bed cuddling your corgi, who happens to be taking up his spot.
"That's just how life goes sometimes, Katsuki." You shrug in defeat.
Bakugou growls at the dog, who growls back.
The dog is super biased. The dog loves you way more than Bakugou, like by a mile.
You can't have them growling at each other all the time so you hold regular bonding sessions for the three of you to get along.
So now when you make something special for the dog, you end up making a nice baked good for Bakugou too!
But then Bakugou feels guilty seeing you cook so much, so he ends up making something for you as well, and that's how you end up cooking dinner like 3 hours earlier than usual.
When you cuddle with your dog, you're also cuddling with Bakugou who's got his arms wrapped around you while you three watch TV or something.
Bakugou really likes it when the dog growls at the TV. It's like the dog hates whatever is currently being shown.
"Yeah yeah, don't worry you damn dog. I hate this shit too."
While you're away, Bakugou teaches the dog tricks like "Attack!" and "Explode!". The dog is learning much more than it ever wanted... but at least they are becoming quite talented!
If your friends ever get their own dog, Bakugou will have to challenge their dog to a Pokemon battle at some point.
But the best times are when the three of you go on walks through hiking trails. It's something you all can enjoy.
When you finally find a beautiful, scenic view above the entire city, your corgi curls up around your legs and Bakugou kisses you on the forehead. He lingers for a moment to watch your reaction to the view of the city he's given you, and you tell each other for the millionth time you love one another.
"Thank you so, so much for showing me this place, Katsuki!" You squeeze him tight. He squeezes you back, not letting go.
Now he's really glad he didn't say no to you. Maybe one day you'll get another dog...
Then Bakugou will get triple the puppy-dog eyes!

Lotr characters and their dogs (and other pets)
Frodo
Canonically not a dog person but also just has cat person vibes
He has two cats one of them is a chubby gray kitty named Luthien and she is incredibly spoiled. A birthday present from Bilbo
His other cat is a stray who hates everyone but Frodo- its super scrangly and Sam calls it Gollum and it stuck
After the Quest Frodo gets a little beagle service dog that helps him with PTSD and other medical stuff
Sam
Pre Quest had an old basset hound named Fingon. His dad said they didn’t have room for it but Sam insisted on feeding it and when he moved in with Frodo it came along.
Post quest he has a border collie named Ellie (short for Galadriel) who helps him replant the shire
He also keeps chickens at Bag End and spoils them a bit. They are just for eggs
Also has a little dairy cow for fresh milk. Her name is Bell after his mom
Merry
The Brandybucks have a pack of mastiffs and they love Merry. Frodo is terrified of them
They also have several feral maine coones that lounge around their manor and also love Merry but hate everyone else
Has a full size horse post quest which he is very proud of and scares the other hobbits. Its name is Theoden
Pippin
Lets be honest with ourselves Pippin has a lab who has the exact same personality as him and they go everywhere together. Its name is something really basic like Buddy
He also keeps turtles and has a whole menagerie for them. They’re all named after different foods
Aragorn
Aragorn has a husky/malamute that he found on his travels north. He howls back and forth with it and is convinced he can understand it. When he becomes king it sits at the foot of his throne and occasionally will randomly howl in the middle of a meeting.
Horse girl all the way. Brego is his bestie. Man takes excellent care of his horse and buys all kinds of extraneous shit for it.
Boromir
Denethor has a pack of vicious looking dogs but Boromir has a Dalmatian that loves him so much
Faramir adopts it for a while after Boromir dies but Faramir is much more of a cat person, so ultimately its adopted by Aragorn and becomes mates with his husky. The puppies go to his and Arwens kids
Legolas
This could go one of two ways-either he has a super graceful hunting dog like a greyhound or whippet or he has a little pomeranian he dresses up and treats like a baby
He has tried to domesticate the spiders with little success maybe because he’s also killed a lot of them
Gimli
Gimli is a terrier person. He has a little Scottish terrier who sits on his lap all the time when he’s working. Gimli made it a little sweater and it hates Legolas (its jealous of Legolas stealing Gimli’s attention).
He also keeps canaries and they are very well cared for and all have names and he’s the only one who can tell them apart
Eowyn
Has a massive Rottweiler who is super intimidating to everyone except Eowyn. It has bitten Grima multiple times. Around Eowyn it acts like a little puppy.
She also loves her horse as all Rohirrim do.
I could also see her as raising ferrets or chinchilas as well
Faramir
Firmly a cat person
Doesn’t mind dogs but vastly prefers cats
Has six of them and they’re all rescues. Their names are : Mithrandir, Radagast, Varda, Melian, Beren, and Pippin.
Eowyn indulges her crazy cat husband even when their house is overrun with kittens
Arwen
Also firmly a cat person
She’s fine Aragorn’s dog but that’s just cause its well trained
Usually just has one or two cats at a time. They’re a special breed from Lothlorien and they’re really beautiful. They like to sit on her lap and purr. They’re also vicious mousers.
Eomer
Has a big great dane who hangs out in Edoras. Its super sweet and dorky. Everyone loves it.

Button House Dog Rescue au
Alison and Mike get the house and the land like in the show but instead of an event hall, they get involved with the local shelter and turn it into a dog rescue. All the ghosts are dogs that they foster/unofficially adopt
Robin (wolfhound): He's been there the longest. He was given up as a puppy for reasons unknown; his owner didn't specify. He was the first dog that they rescued and even tho they tried their best, they still messed up a lot. He doesn't hold it against them tho, he loves them. He's made a lot of friends over the years but they've all been adopted out; no one wants him because of his size so he's been unofficially adopted by the Coopers and he's 100% fine with that. When he sits by the fire and they scratch his belly or behind his ears, he doesn't need another family
Humprey (golden retriever): He used to belong to a rich family but got out one day and was hit by a car. The accident left him unable to move anything but his head and even tho the family was distraught, they opted to put him down. Alison came in at the very last second insisting that she could help him and she did. It's took many years of physical therapy, learning to use mobility aids, and different meds but he can get around relatively easily now. He still opts to sleep in the sun most of the day tho and only occasionally romps around the garden w his friends. He's Mike's favorite bc Mike likes to squish his face. Mike's his favorite because he gives him way too many treats
Mary (dalmatian): She lived with a family but the house caught fire one night. She was able to escape (as were the ppl, dw) but ran the wrong way and got terribly lost in the dark. She had no tag or identification so she was taken to the shelter. She's got terrible anxiety and was constantly trembling when they first got her so Alison bought her one of those compress vests that acts like a weighted blanket. It was hard to get it on her the first time because she would shy away from any move they made but now she insists to have it on 24/7. Since getting to Button House, she's gone from skittish and hiding from everything to fairly confident. Alison believes it's from socializing with the new friends she's made
Kitty (pomeranian): She was given as a birthday present to a rich girl when she was a puppy. The girl wasn't very nice to her however and used her more as a doll she could jerk around than a living being. She would yell at her a lot too for natural puppy behavior (ex: not coming already housebroken, chewing things, making messes, etc) After a year or so, one of the neighbors finally had enough and was able to take her away. Unfortunately, they were unable to foster her so she ended up at Button House. She's still incredibly sweet, outgoing and loves to run and play with the big dogs. Even tho she can't keep up at the start, she always ends up running circles around them thanks to her unlimited energy when they tire out. When she's not doing that, she's "helping" Alison and tripping her up while she tries to work
Thomas (shetland sheepdog): He also belonged to a well-off family that he loved very dearly but got lost. He's convinced they're going to find him one day even tho it's been years at this point. The other dogs feel bad that he still believes this but they don't tell him. When he got to Button House, he latched onto Alison as his new family --or his temporary family since he's only going to be here a short while-- and follows her everywhere now. Definitely has separation anxiety due to his getting separated from his first family and freaks out whenever he can't see her. He'll cry when she shuts the door to the bathroom or her bedroom. He tries every night to sleep in her bed but the Coopers have a strict rule about no dogs in the bedroom so he never succeeds. Instead he lays right outside the door in the hallway and cries himself to sleep each night. It used to hurt Alison's heart but she's used to it now; she can't let him in bc once she does, everybody will want to come in
Fanny (chihuahua): She's white, pretty fluffy, and has magnificent floofs on her ears. She was given up by her family for being "too aggressive." They had several small kids and didn't do their research before getting her. The Coopers were a bit nervous at first but quickly learned she was all bark and no bite. Now she's Alison's lap dog and even tho she's perfectly capable of walking, she likes to be carried places. She's too old to want to play with the other dogs so instead she sits in Alison's lap and watches. She'll bark her head off at them but never goes to join the game. Alison thinks it's quite funny that when it's one on one, she can cow all the big dogs, including Robin, into doing what she wants
The Captain (german shepherd): He's a retired military dog that was unable to find a home because he didn't adjust to civilian life very well. He was never actually in a war tho, he stayed domestic and helped more with bomb sniffing. He was retired bc he was getting old and had a lot of health complications in his hips/joints. He's enjoying it much more at Button House with the other dogs than the few families he went to before and is slowly learning how to relax/be a dog. But because of his health problems, he can't play for very long before he has to lay down (this makes Kitty very sad). Mike's scared of him; he was nervous at the start because he assumed as an army dog he would be aggressive, but his fear got cemented one time they were out on a walk and there was a squirrel. The Captain lunged for it and pulled Mike face first into the mud. Mike swears he almost dislocated his shoulder but Alison isn't sure
Pat (corgi): He was given up by a suburban family who underestimated how much space and exercise he would need. Their yard wasn't big enough and he was either laying around the house all day depressed or ripping up the furniture to entertain himself. It was a very tearful goodbye when they dropped him off but the Coopers assured them he would be in good hands. He was very upset when they didn't come back after a few days but he's gotten used to it now. He loves running around in the big field and all the new friends he's made. He's Alison's favorite because he actually listens to her. She was surprised by how many words he knew and now puts his herding skills to use almost every day. "Pat, can you get everyone in the car?" "Pat, can you get everyone to the bath?" "Pat, can you get everyone for dinner?" He's very good at it and make's sure no one's left behind (even Mike)
Julian (weimaraner): He was adopted by a politician as a publicity stunt when he was a puppy. As he grew up, he was absolutely spoiled and occasionally got to go to events/parties. His owner liked to take pictures of him and post them on social media to get voters' attention so quite a large number of people knew who he was. As he got older tho, the posts stopped getting as many likes and a new puppy was adopted. Before he knew what was happening, he was left at Button House. There was quite an adjustment period as he got used to not fancy food, having to share, and all that but he's loving it now. He's Alison's least favorite because he's so crafty and always up to trouble. When he teams up with Robin, the two of them can easily break into the pantry and eat as much ppl food as they like. Alison's started locking it but somehow they're still getting in. It remains the most infuriating mystery of Alison's life
The plague ghosts: they are quite a few different breeds that were rescued from a very unethical puppy mill. They’re at Button House because it was the only place big enough to house them all. They’ve all got mange tho and are quarantined to a separate part of the house. Even tho they are loving their new life much more than how they were living before, they still dream of the day they’ll be able to go out and play w all the other dogs

(stammering au) Say Dog owners, why don't you tell us more about your precious pooches?
"Well, Buddy is a yellow lab. He's s-s-s-seventeen inches at the shoulder with a short coat, and technically still a puppy. My mom got him for me as a g-g-g-gift when a friend of hers had a litter of puppies. He's very… He's very playful. His favorite game is Fetch. I play it with him almost every day. He's a lot of responsibility, but he's absolutely w-w-w-worth it."
"My Sophie is a white standard poodle. She's the sweetest thing, very cuddly. She's about twenty-three and a half inches at the shoulder, and we got her a modified continental cut so she looks pretty. Sophie also loves to go swimming and play in puddles. She can get muddy once in a while, I don't mind. I love making my Sophie Baby look all clean and pretty."
"Rex is a European Doberman. He's loyal, intelligent, and tough as nails. My parents got him for me as a gift. He's got a short coat and is twenty-eight inches at the shoulder. Before we adopted him, someone cropped his ears and docked his tail. That's illegal in my country, but whoever did it to him is bound to be dealt with eventually. Rex LOVES to roughhouse. It's exhausting, but whatever makes my Champion happy."
"My little Mitsi is a golden teacup Pomeranian. I found her at the animal shelter and simply had to have her. She's a tiny little thing, about eight and a half inches tall, but that only makes us love her more. She loves playing with her squeaky toys and will play tug-of-war with Rex and one of his rope toys. I almost named her "Fluffy" because of her coat, but "Fluffy" is more of a cat name, so I named her after my great aunt."
I have a Shiba Inu named Gigi. She's around sixteen inches at the shoulder, has a beautiful, golden goat, and the cutest curly tail. Giselle and I picked her up about a year ago when she was just a little puppy. She's such a precious little dog."
"My mom got Luka and me a red wiener dog named Lola. She's adorable. Smart too. She already knows "roll over," "sit up," "shake," and "play dead." She's only nine inches at the shoulder, so she's pretty low to the ground, but she has more love than a truckload of dogs. Sometimes she sneaks into one of our rooms and crawls into bed with us to snuggle. Such an awesome little dog."
"My mother recently gifted me with a Corgi named Toby. He's twelve inches at the shoulder and has a soft red and white coat. I love him, honestly. He's a friendly little guy. It's fun to watch him scamper around, and play with his chew toys. I've never had a pet before, so it's a new experience for me but Toby seems to like me enough. I'm sure it'll work out, as long as I give him food, water, and lots of love."
"I have a yellow Pomeranian named Winston. He's eleven inches tall. I found him at the animal shelter two years ago when he was just a little pup. We've been inseparable ever since. He especially enjoys playing catch, usually with tennis balls or rubber squeaky toys."
"My family recently adopted a French Bulldog named Lulu. She is the sweetest little thing. She's 13 months old, fawn-pied colored, and is about 18 inches tall at the head. Most Frenchies have breathing problems, but not my Lulu. Her snout is just big enough that she can breathe easily. And she is SUCH a loving dog. She adores people, cats, and other dogs. I can't tell you how many times she's jumped up on me to greet me."

Description: A ten generation legacy challenge revolving around my interpretation of different dog breeds and their personality trends.
Note: - This is all in my own opinion and is for fun, nothing is meant in offense to any breed, or to be taken literally. The legacy challenge is to commemorate my late Jack Russell Terrier, Princess. I'm unaware of any similar challenges so I decided to create my own!
(This has not yet been tested and is open for suggestions as it is played out! Under traits, I only include traits that must be completed in addition to traits needed for that generations career)
Generation One - Jack Russell Terrier
Traits: Active, hot headed, genius
Skills: mischief max, fitness max, cooking level 6
Career: Fitness, pro athlete branch
Aspiration: Chief of Mischief
Generation notes: Date one sim your entire life and marry them as an adult. Have as many kids as you like. Regularly get into fights with your sims neighbors. Find all the frogs in the frog collection and have a room dedicated to them.
Generation Two - German Shepard
Traits: Perfectionist, adventurous, loves the outdoors
Skills: Selvadoradian culture max, fishing max
Career: Secret Agent, diamond agent branch
Aspiration: Jungle Explorer
Generation notes: Must complete aspiration before having children and must be an adult. Sell relics for money on the sell table while also keeping some to decorate your sims house with. Take a vacation to Selvadora at least three times. Have two fish tanks with fish you catch. Have two children of your own and adopt one. Marriage is optional but not preferred as you’re married to work.
Generation Three - Golden Retriever
Traits: Goofball, clumsy, cheerful
Skills: Charisma max, comedy max
Career: Detective
Aspiration: Neighborhood Confidant
Generation notes: Must have at least three children, preferably with one set of multiples or triplets! Go to the park at least twice a week by yourself or with family. Go jogging every night after work. Own a pool. Donate at least 100k this generation.
Generation Four - Chihuahua
Traits: Evil, perfectionist, kleptomaniac
Skills: Baking max, singing max
Career: Criminal
Aspiration: Villainous Valentine
Generation notes: Have only one child and never marry. Steal constantly from this child's parent to make up for "back child support". Spend your nights after work at karaoke bars. Have music playing loudly in the late and early hours of the night to annoy your neighbors.
Generation Five - Basset Hound
Traits: Lazy, glutton, childish
Skills: cooking max, gourmet cooking max, charisma max
Career: Unemployed/Odd Jobs
Aspiration: Friend of the World
Generation notes: Never have a job while living off your parents money. Do not exercise or go to the gym. Have a friends-with-benefits that you have your children with. Order groceries regularly. Max at least one other skill of your choosing. Have a "sim den" in your home with lots of comfort items. Spend most nights sleeping in there by "accident".
Generation Six - French Bulldog
Traits: Proper, jealous, high maintenance
Skills: at least five skills to level five - players choice
Career: Salaryperson and after that, player choice.
Aspiration: Renaissance Sim
Generation notes: Live in a mansion. Always wear a dress or a suit (formal style). Throw a dinner party once a week. Have a white Persian cat. Always hire nannies to care for your children. Have a "nice" bathroom that you never use.
Generation Seven - Boxer
Traits: Foodie, bro, geek
Skills: research & debate max, logic max
Career: Education, administrator branch
Aspiration: Academic
Generation notes: Marry your college sweetheart but later find them cheating on you. Find love in a co-worker and remarry in your adult years. In your free time, go to Sulani and swim in the ocean. Read one book a day for fun. Never miss new years and always hire a bartender for parties. Have at least three best friends.
Generation Eight - Pomeranian
Traits: Mean, romantic, snob
Skills: violin max, piano max
Career: Business, investor branch
Aspiration: Serial romantic
Generation notes: Have four kids by four different sims. Marry rich, take their money and leave them homeless. Only watch the romance channel on TV. Have movie nights re-watching Simder once a week and order pizza. Be a millionaire by the end of this generation. Buy two of the The Virtuoso Violin and keep one for display on a high shelf.
Generation Nine - Poodle
Traits: Self-absorbed, foodie, self-assured
Skills: flower arranging max, gardening max
Career: Actress
Aspiration: Beach Life
Generation notes: Get one of the most expensive massages a week, minimum. Never repair any household objects yourself, always hire a repair sim. Have a roommate that your sim thinks they’re better than (a sim that doesn't have as nice things or clothes). Have at five outfits for each category to flaunt your wealth. Own beachside property.
Generation Ten - Pitbull
Traits: Loyal, good, family-oriented
Skills: video gaming max, parenting max, rock climbing max
Career: Law, judge branch
Aspiration: Successful Lineage
Generation notes: Have trouble finding a spouse because of being misunderstood. Go through a minimum of four significant others before finding another misunderstood sim (not as preferable traits, unique quirks, different looking). Spend free time rock climbing with family. Never hire a nanny, but kids can go to daycare. Don't hire a maid, have the kids help with household chores to teach life skills. As a judge, always make choice for the greater good.
Please tag me in any attempts of this challenge or let me know if there is anything similar or broken in the challenge so I can adjust!

What was your Pomeranian like?
He was a lot like me, actually. A previous owner abused him so he was really timid and skittish. When I first adopted him all he'd do was hide under the bed. But he eventually became like my bodyguard. He didn't like anyone being in the same room as me and growled if anyone got too close to me. He was so small and afraid of everything but he'd do all he could to protect me. He was already an adult dog when I adopted him so he was pretty old too, but every so often he'd go into "puppy mode" and want to run around and be silly like he was young. I eventually had to have him put down because he developed a growth on his neck that was suspected to be cancer. He was so old, the vet said he might not have survived the surgery to treat it. I held onto him while they gave him the injection and he died in my arms. I have his ashes, his old collar, and a bit of his fur in a small bag near my bed. When I die, I want the two of us to be buried together. He had a bad start to his life but I hope I made the rest of it better. He's been gone for almost 10 years but I still miss him. He exists in all the things that remind me of him now.
This is the only picture I still have of him. It was taken around the time he was starting to get sick.

JK adopting Bam because he was the runt and wasn't getting milk. Tae adopting Yeontan because of his angry eyebrows and health condition. Both said, that one needs me -- I'll take him.
Tae researching Pomeranians and getting Yeontan every treatment possible. JK getting Bam into a special facility to get top notch care.
JK deleting his instagram before his solo album and then creating a Bam account while in military service. Tae, Most Handsome Man, choosing Yeontan's face for his album cover.
The way they have both involved Bam and Yeontan in lives, you cannot tell me there have not been full family facetimes.
Proud Puppy Parents.
Hi anon!
I love both of their bonds with their dogs. It’s so cute!
Jk creating an instagram for Bam is so nice and I’m so glad to have a piece of him he feels safe giving right now.

a ross blurb where they go get a new puppy 🥹
awwww that is so adorable 🥹 he is absolutely so attached to dogs and i thinks dogs love him back equally but he would be so hesitant about adopting one. he doesn't want to just get one and then keep it locked in an empty house so he's always denied himself it, being content with spoiling his friends' dogs instead (seriously tho, where is mayhem?). anyway now that you're in the picture, and you've been in the picture for a while, he feels comfortable knowing that the puppy won't be alone at home when he's gone so it's not very difficult to convince him about it. (you basically just bombard him with cute dog reels and tiktoks until he's actually weeping at a tiny tiny puppy and then you pounce on him with the "let's get one"). it starts off very slow; you're only going to research some shelters around you, that's it. but one night in bed while you're reading your book, you hear a quiet gasp that he cuts off quickly. suspiciously quickly. so you look at him and narrow your eyes but you don't even have to ask about it before he's shoving his phone in your face like "look, baby, isn't this place just perfect??!' (it is, and it's one you'd been looking at yourself but he doesn't need to know that) anyway, he's so excited and grinning that you instantly make plans to visit on the weekend. which you both literally wait for so so eagerly. again, on the day of, he has some doubts and worries. you can tell how much he wants a puppy but he's worried about not being able to give it proper love and care (he's an absolute sweetheart). so you go in. the shelter, predictably, smells like dogs and cats and other animals and both of you feel a bit like kids at christmas simply because you want to take all of them home so badly. there are some babies, some fully grown adult dogs. there are chihuahuas and pomeranians and golden retrievers. there's even a husky or two and german shepherd in a far corner. the volunteer asks you some questions like what kind of traits you're looking for and if you've had a dog before. all the while you walk around, scratching puppies behind their ears and giving their cold snoots lil boops. ross coos at each one, calls them a good boy/girl. until your eyes land on a specific puppy.
a rottweiler.
the volunteer tells you that she's not exactly a puppy, just a bit older but that they rescued her from a dog fighting situation and she's been with them since. she's too young to be a part of something like that to begin with but people aren't exactly known for their morals all the time. ross is a bit worried about her being aggressive but all of that evaporates as soon as he puts his hand inside her crate through the bars and she nuzzles it with her soft lil head 🥺. not just that, she looks at the two of you with, quite literally, the biggest puppy eyes you've ever seen. you frown. her little face is littered with small scars. her ears are clipped but then she woofs and it's the sweetest sound ever. both of you are instantly smitten and have your heart set on her. you and ross look at each other, wordlessly communicating how much you love her and she seems to sense it too because suddenly she yips and playfully nips at your fingers. gives you kisses all over your hands.
so there's no looking further anymore. you start the process, comply with all the checks and inspections before, by the end of the week, you have your precious lil baby in your arms <3
-----
(sorta basing this on a friend's dog, jenny, who was the sweetest girl ever🥹)
