The design cleverly subverts the outdated saying "a woman's place is in the home" by replacing "home" with "White House," making a powerful statement about women's potential and right to hold the highest office in the nation.
Visually, the concept might incorporate:
A stylized image of the White House, perhaps with a female silhouette in the foreground
Portraits or silhouettes of prominent female political figures
Patriotic elements like stars and stripes, subtly integrated into the background
Color schemes likely feature the traditional red, white, and blue of American politics, possibly with added purple to symbolize the blending of political parties or to reference the women's suffrage movement.

This design could appear on various products including t-shirts, posters, mugs, and tote bags. It's aimed at individuals who support gender equality in politics and aspire to see a woman in the presidential office.
This design concept revolves around internet meme culture featuring Vice President Kamala Harris. Memes typically combine humorous or satirical text with images, often playing on current events or Harris's public statements and appearances.
The visual element likely features a photograph or caricature of Harris in a memorable pose or expression. This could be from a well-known public appearance, debate moment, or candid shot that has gained traction online.

Text overlays may include:
Quotes from Harris, either accurate or humorously altered
Witty captions commenting on political situations
Playful references to her role as VP or potential future aspirations
The style often mimics popular meme formats, using bold, impactful fonts and sometimes deliberately low-quality or exaggerated imagery for comedic effect.
These memes can range from lighthearted and supportive to more critical or satirical, depending on the creator's intent and political stance. They might reference Harris's background, her relationship with President Biden, or her handling of specific issues.

2023 International Rural Women's Day Commemoration Seminar.
According to the latest FAO report, women play a crucial role in agricultural and non-agricultural activities, which emerge as agrifood systems develop and economies change. There, women work as farmers, retailers, wage laborers, entrepreneurs, among other tasks. However, gender inequalities in agrifood systems cause women to be disproportionately affected by food and nutritional insecurity, monetary and time poverty in Latin America and the Caribbean.
In view of this situation, the FAO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, in the framework of the Commemoration of the International Day of Rural Women and the strengthening of its program for the economic empowerment of this group, invites counterparts from government, civil society, academia, private sector and UN agencies to discuss and propose strategies for closing gender gaps in agrifood systems, during a seminar to be held in hybrid format on October 10, 2023, in Santiago, Chile.
Objectives
The seminar will seek to provide a regional overview of the advances and challenges that promote or obstruct the economic empowerment of rural women in all their diversity, and will make recommendations to strengthen the economic empowerment program for rural women and generate inputs for the FAO Regional Conference -LARC 38, the Regional Conference of ECLAC-UNWomen, among other initiatives within the framework of the rural women's agenda in the region.
During the seminar, examples of legislation, policies and programs will be presented with a focus on what has worked and specific recommendations will be shared on how to make more and better interventions with and for rural women. From a vision of collective action, the seminar will seek to generate alliances and identify strategies and interventions with scalability potential, based on the agenda of rural women in the region, to accelerate their economic, social and political empowerment.
Methodology
The Seminar will begin with welcoming remarks by FAO, followed by thematic talks that will delve into the central aspects of sustainable rural development from a transformative gender equality approach, followed by a space for guided reflection, and ending with a session of agreements and closing. The interventions will incorporate success stories and review the strategies mobilized to bring about the necessary change towards an egalitarian welfare state.
The seminar will be simultaneously interpreted from Spanish into English and Portuguese.

Citizens of Texas and anyone who cares about the rights and protections of women, please read this and continue to stay informed.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has launched a billboard campaign in Mexico and Central America to deter illegal immigration, using graphic messages that highlight the dangers they will face, like s*xual assault, violence, and arrest. One billboard says, “How much did you pay to have your daughter r@ped?” Abbott claims the intent is to provide a “realistic” picture of the risks involved in crossing the border illegally. However, this tactic sensationalizes s*xual violence and dehumanizes migrants, normalizing harmful behavior and incites violence against vulnerable groups. It also contradicts Abbott’s pro-life stance, which claims to protect all lives, and his l goal to eliminate sexual assault in Texas, since he’s against any exceptions of @bortion. The campaign prioritizes political goals over the safety and dignity of migrants, focusing on fear rather than addressing the root causes of migration or providing more effective and protective solutions. People don’t realize the domino effect of this. This won’t just affect immigrants, it will affect all woman and children. Any unhinged or mentally unwell men will see this as a message of encouragement. The normalization of this violence and punishment toward women will encourage a broader acceptance of violence against women, whether they are immigrants or not. This could lead to an increase in r*pe and other forms of violence against women and children, regardless of their immigration status, especially if they are perceived as immigrants. Furthermore, this message could inspire men at home to be more violent and less respectful toward their wives and children, as it promotes an environment where violence against women is seen as acceptable.
I’m sharing this to raise awareness, encourage you to prepare in any way that feels right for you, and to remind you that the next Texas gubernatorial election will take place on November 3rd, 2026. Make sure you and your friends are registered to vote. Stay informed. Use credible and accurate sources like AP, Reuters, BBC news, NPR, The economist. Do your research. Don’t get your sources like Fox News, they’re incredibly biased and do not fact check.

It's funny how trump has numerous sex offence allegations against him, has openly talked about grabbing someone by their genitals, is strangely obsessed with making laws in regards to people's bedroom activities, and yet.....kamala is the "prostitute that sleeps her way to the top"..... okay....keep talking. My earphones are in anyway. Tearing down democrats by using misogyny and prejudice really goes to show that you have no real material. This goes for misogyny and prejudice towards anyone, not just a democrat. I just find it strange that it only seems to be the republican party that can't find any better claims. I will 100% listen and learn from engaging criticism of Kamala Harris and the democratic party in general.....that is of course...when you come up with engaging criticism. On that topic, "Do women really sleep their way to the top, or do men withold advancement from women until they receive sexual favours?"

Please prioritize the needs of the most marginalized if/when you vote today!
Hey everyone in the USA: If you're eligible and haven't voted yet, please make sure you do!
Your vote can significantly impact those who are most marginalized in our society: from the young women dying because of reproductive oppression, to the disabled folks who need funded in-home care, to all the black, brown, indigenous and migrant communities who deserve respect, dignity and security all while so often doing the work that holds society together, to the trans youth who just want the care and acceptance of their communities, to the homeless who need homes and many more intersecting groups besides. Keep their needs at the forefront of your mind, and encourage your family and friends to do the same. That way we may actually do some good today. So please get out there, and do the right thing! All our love x

‘Women Supporting Women’ Shouldn’t Be a Trend
Let’s talk about this whole “women supporting women” movement that’s plastered all over social media. Don’t get me wrong — I absolutely love seeing women lift each other up. But can we address the elephant in the room? Why is this a “movement” in the first place? Why did we need to make basic human decency into a hashtag?
Think about it: When was the last time you saw #MenSupportingMen trending? Or why isn’t there a viral movement about humans being decent to other humans? The fact that we had to turn women supporting each other into a trendy social media campaign speaks volumes about where we are as a society.
It’s giving very much “bare minimum, but make it aesthetic.”
Here’s what bothers me: We’re celebrating women supporting women like it’s some revolutionary act of kindness, when in reality, it should be as normal as breathing. We’re out here acting like it’s groundbreaking when a woman compliments another woman without ulterior motives or celebrates another woman’s success without feeling threatened.
Let that sink in.
We’ve literally had to create a whole movement just to normalize something that should have been in the default setting. It’s like having a trend called #PeopleBreathingOxygen or #HumansEatingFood. Like… why do we need to make this a thing?
And here’s another layer to unpack: Why is this responsibility primarily placed on women? Why are we the only ones expected to be carrying this torch of supportiveness? Last time I checked, being supportive, kind, and uplifting wasn’t a gendered trait.
The internet is flooded with:
“Girls supporting girls!”
“Women empowering women!”
“Sisters before misters!”
But where’s the energy for:
“Everyone supporting everyone!”
“Humans being decent to humans!”
“Basic respect for all!”
Don’t these sound ridiculous when you spell them out like this? They should, because they’re pointing out things that should’ve been obvious from the start.
The fact that “women supporting women” has become a marketable trend tells us two things:
Society has such low expectations of women’s relationships with each other that we had to brand basic decency
We’re still not addressing the bigger issue of why support and upliftment aren’t universal values
Here’s what really gets me: Brands are now capitalizing on this movement. They’re selling us “girl power” and “women supporting women” merchandise like they didn’t spend decades profiting off of putting women against each other. The same media that thrived on “who wore it better” segments is now preaching about female solidarity. The irony is not lost on me.
And let’s talk about how this movement, while well-intentioned, sometimes feels like it’s putting even more pressure on women. Now, not only do we have to succeed in a system that wasn’t built for us, but we also have to be everyone else’s cheerleader 24/7. When did support become another item on women’s already endless to-do list?
Don’t misunderstand me — I’m all for women supporting women. I’ll shout about my friends’ achievements from the rooftops. I’ll hype up strangers in bathroom lines. I’ll celebrate every woman’s win like it’s my own.
But I’m also tired of acting like this should be remarkable.
I’m tired of it being a “woman’s responsibility.”
I’m tired of it being a trend instead of a norm.
What I want to see is:
Support being genderless
Celebration becoming universal
Kindness becoming standard
Upliftment becoming natural
Because honestly? The real trend should be everyone supporting everyone. Period.
The next time you see #WomenSupportingWomen, ask yourself: Why isn’t this just called being a decent human being? Why did we have to gender basic respect? Why did kindness need a marketing campaign?
Maybe instead of making women’s support for each other a trending topic, we should focus on making it so normal that it doesn’t need a hashtag. Maybe we should expand this energy to include everyone, regardless of gender. Maybe we should make basic human decency the standard, not the exception.
Because at the end of the day, supporting others shouldn’t be a trend.
It shouldn’t be a gender-specific responsibility.
It shouldn’t be remarkable at all.
It should just be how we exist in the world.

The Precariousness of Women's Lives: The Impact of Dependence on Men
Introduction: A poignant reminder of the gender inequality that continues to exist in many parts of the world is conveyed by the quote, often attributed to Simone de Beauvoir, that highlights how precarious a woman’s life can be when it is subject to the whims of a man. Women continue to face challenges in various aspects of their lives, including education, employment, healthcare, and politics.…
