for the reverse unpopular opinions, your favourite Lewis helmet design/designs!

i have 3 favourite designs and they are all more recent ones: the rainbow helmet he wore in 2021, the murakami collaboration helmet and the sorayama collaboration helmet

but if i had to pick only one helmet, it would absolutely have to be the rainbow helmet. not only because of its aesthetic value, but because of the symbolism behind it. i was a newer fan at the time (i got into f1 in june/july of 2021) when lewis debuted the rainbow helmet, and him taking a stand and showing support for LGBTQ+ people so publicly and unabashedly is literally what propelled him to number one favourite blorbo driver status.

I used to think it was just a matter of getting older but honestly video games (playing/watching/waiting for) just don't give that rush of excitement anymore in general. The Aesthetic Compass

As you can see, the vertical axis measures aesthetics from traditional to modern, and the horizontal axis measures aesthetics from serious to playful.
