Colorful Blossoms Around the Dickey Ridge Visitor Center (Shenandoah National Park) by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: It was as I began working on the image in post production that I then decided to once again try out the sky replacement setting in Photoshop with this image. The blue skies with the clouds definitely seemed appropriate for this national park setting that late morning. So the skies are from an image I captured out in west Texas a few years ago but all else is captured with my Nikon Z8 Mirrorless camera. I later worked with control points in DxO PhotoLab 7 and then made some adjustments to bring out the contrast, saturation and brightness I wanted for the final image.

Dreaming of New Adventures Outside by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: A view looking to the northwest across the trees in this part of Coconino National Forest while hiking the Devil's Bridge Trail. My thinking in composing this image was to use the high ground where I was located and then angle my Nikon SLR camera slightly downward and create a sweeping view across this forested landscape. The mesas and buttes off in the distance would then rise up in the image and avoid a more flattened look. There would also be a complementary set of color contrasts between the greens and more earth-tones present in the lower portion of the image with the blues of the skies above.
