People of Tyria Intro Post

I'm a Guild Wars 2 veteran who has been playing Guild Wars 2 and a variety of other MMOs for decades. I've been collecting images of player characters across Tyria for fun based on funny player names, cosplays, or simply really good or clever fashion. Here's a glimpse into my collection. Some of these were screenshots I've taken, others were sent to me by friends.

These are actual players across GW2, please do not harass any of them. If you find yourself here and would like me to remove a submission, don't hesitate to ask! This is all in good fun. As an artist I respect the craft that is Fashion Wars 2.

Please note that I do not post anything here out of malice - I highly respect all the work that players have put into the work. Yes, even the flashbangs.

Happy Tyria Pride everyone! I had to leave early because timezones, but here are some photos from the march <3 I ran with my bestie @uselessidiotsquad and our guild, but managed to get a little photo of some members of our tumbly squad (you've all been befriended btw :) )

Some choice screens from the EU Pride March! I went "stealth mode" and took an unknown alt, Vhaltos Inkflint sporting trans and demi flag colors (same as myself). I joined late and dipped early cuz my computer just can't handle it right now, oops.

Tyria Pride Day 1 EU! A very eventful day! It started kinda slow, as I wasn't feeling very energetic, but then event 1: General Almorra appeared (other names censored just in case)

Event 2: council chair & frog incident

Started off with having the new chair out and people joined, then the frog incident happened, perhaps as punishment due to my overly arrogant behaviour

Then Tyria Pride from Anet came to hang out, that was a surprise

Event 3: Boylovers [BOYS] Guild creation

I got encouraged by Luisa of Luisa's guild of girlfriends to make a boyfriend version of it since I talked about it a bit throughout the march

And so here it is. I didn't really know what to do with the guild emblem so I just modeled it after Kivuntuoja since he was the one I was on when creating it and my representative lover of boys. With a heart background of course.

Event 4: Boy Juice

Saw this person asking if anyone wants T in say and responded and to my surprise got this mail from them. Bless this person..

Alright, so the post I made last night in regards to the Current Topic on gw2blr was made when the conversation was focusing on different aspects than it is today. Since then, the conversation has expanded - and in some instances got wildly out of control. If anyone feels the need to get my actual nuanced opinion for, idk, peace of mind or whatever, I am happy to have an open discussion in private messages. Public vaguing simply isn't productive and tensions are too high for anything said to be read in good faith.

on one hand, I am fully aware that these guys are an easter egg referencing the 'Commando' profession April Fool's joke from ages long past, but on the other:

these guys are dead ringers for the Tideturners' scouting parties that routinely travel into parallel Tyrias for recon purposes and explore fractals to obtain resources for the Turnabout, so I'm just gonna headcanon that they're a recon squad from the Tideturners who got very, very lost.
