My sixth piece of work from my newest collection.

Knowing that Pedro would be the next subject I felt heavily influenced by his story, and currently how he has been elevated to the high echelons of fame within the entertainment industry. Of course it is absolutely deserved, but what comes with that recognition can be a darker side of what fandoms are. The parasocial relationships that emerge because of one man. I may comfortably sit on the edge of all this, but I have been witness to some pretty awful behaviour all in the name of a wonderful man with a big heart.

Pedro Pascal is such a gorgeous man, I wanted to paint him in my purest form of love. Black and white graphite style. 14 years ago I started with black pencil on white paper. This took me two days and about 9 hours but I think it's one of my best black and whites I've done. 😊

Movie Night, Unexpected Surprises**

It was supposed to be a quiet movie night—just the two of you, some snacks, and a Netflix series you’d been meaning to catch up on. Pedro had already settled in, his feet up on the coffee table, the remote in hand as he glanced over at you with a playful grin.

"You sure you’re ready for this?" he asked, raising an eyebrow, clearly enjoying the challenge of the upcoming movie marathon.

You gave him a cheeky smile. "Oh, I’m ready. You better keep up, though."

He chuckled softly, a low sound that made your heart flutter. "I think I’ll be just fine. You, on the other hand..." He leaned back a little more comfortably, a teasing glint in his eyes. "You might not survive my movie-watching skills."

The challenge was set, but you weren’t about to let him have the last word. You shifted closer to him on the couch, your knees brushing his. “I guess we’ll see about that,” you replied with a smirk, trying not to let the heat of his body so close to yours distract you.

As the movie began, you tried to focus, but it was hard when Pedro kept sneaking little glances at you, his hand brushing your arm now and then as if he couldn’t help himself. Every touch sent a shiver through you, and you could feel the tension building, a playful but undeniable chemistry between the two of you.

At one point, during an intense scene, you jumped slightly, the sudden action on-screen catching you off guard. Pedro didn’t miss it—his hand immediately reached for yours, gently squeezing.

"Scared?" he teased, his fingers tracing over yours as he gave you a soft, knowing look.

You laughed, but your heart was still pounding. "No, just caught off guard," you replied, not able to hide the smile that curled on your lips.

He didn’t pull his hand away, instead leaning in slightly, his voice now lower. "I can protect you, you know. I’m good at comforting scared little things."

His words lingered in the air as his thumb brushed over the back of your hand, the touch so gentle, so intimate. There was something in the way he said it, his tone full of warmth and a bit of that familiar smoldering look you couldn’t ever resist.

You caught his gaze, heart racing for a whole different reason now. "I’m not scared," you whispered, leaning in just a little closer, the space between you closing in slow motion. "I think I’m just distracted."

Pedro’s eyes flickered to your lips before returning to your eyes, his breath warm on your skin. "Oh? By what?"

You smiled, a slow, teasing curve of your lips. "I don’t know. Maybe by you."

His smile grew, a little more playful now. "Well, that wasn’t so hard to admit." And then, in a low voice that made your heart skip, he added, "I’ve been distracted by you all night, too."

The moment hung in the air between you, the playful tension now palpable. His hand brushed up to your cheek, his touch light but full of intention. “Maybe we should stop pretending and just focus on what’s right in front of us,” he whispered, his lips just a breath away from yours.

You didn’t need any more encouragement. The kiss was soft at first, hesitant, as if neither of you wanted to break the fragile bubble of intimacy you’d created. But then it deepened, and the warmth between you grew, the rest of the world falling away as you let the quiet night between you turn into something much more than you’d ever expected.
