Still here, despite everything

Happy 23rd anniversary to the Ace Attorney series! Originally this was supposed to be an "animation" where the background characters fade one by one (in chronological order) while maya/pearl channels mia as a way represent the game's timeline and events but it turned out... really bad. It didn't even make sense.

The vision was there but the excecution was not T_T I'll try not to take this loss too personally. Onto the next drawing !

Rosemary's Baby Misunderstanding

It's the usual: Ellie and Dan get injured and reverted back to cores which Danny basically adopts inside his own to help protecting them.

Meanwhile, every single mages, wizards and magical-inclined person sees this young, high-school-age boy carrying what must be a sort of equivalent to Satan's babies except this particular Satan is not really Satan and is more of the High King of Infinity Realm I guess.

it's very funny seeing the tuff guys talk about gem being so passive this season because on the one hand i totally see why, considering she's happy to let her barn burn down and she's brushed off the many attempts on her life and continued to stay allied with a number of them (even encouraged them to kill her), but i don't think she's as passive as they say.

i think she's being held back, like a hunting dog on a leash. gem likes to play the game and the game says green lives cant kill, but she's still bloodthirsty. she's so happy to convince everyone else to kill anyone but herself (mostly scott, to be honest). she helped scar build a trap and lured cleo in. all he had to do was pull the trigger. she planned to team up with jimmy to kill scott, and even when scott was no longer dark green she tried to convince him to go through with their plan anyway. she wants to pvp pearl, one on one, the honourable way. even back in episode three she was talking to her snail about what a great team they'd make (if only it wasn't targeting only her).

she's playing the long game but its only a matter of time before (like etho's apt volcano metaphor) she unleashes carnage on the server, and we've seen what that looks like in secret life.

Magic and Mystery Meet Again... in Universe Falls

WE ARE SO BACK BABES! SO EXCITED THAT NEW UF'S COVER IS DONE! Honestly it was so much fun to work on this, to get my head back into thise world with these characters. Now that this is done, I feel like I'm finally ready to push on with the fic and get it off the ground for ya'll.

For those of you not in the know... Universe Falls is a crossover between Gravity Falls and Steven Universe, where the events of both shows happen concurrently. Originally posted back in 2015, new UF is a ground-up rewrite/reboot/revival, condensed down quite a bit with a heavier emphasis on original content and improved writing. Brighton (27) and Reed (29) Robertson welcomed Frances Claudia on Aug 9. She joins older siblings Merris (2) and David (18 months).

Arti and Isaac (21) Anderson welcomed Dietrich Johannes on Aug 17. He is their first child.

Darbs (27) (Trewhella) and Isaiah (34) Muckerheide welcomed their fifth child, a little girl. She joins older siblings: Sylvia (6), Savannah (6), Wyatt (3), and Eliza (15 months).

Karissa (40) and Mandrae (40) Collins welcomed Arrow Chosen on Aug 17. He joins 10 older siblings: Anissa (14), Andrae (13), Annistan (11), Anjalie (10), Andersyn (9), Aynjel (8), Ansyr (6), Anchor (4), Anthym (3), and Armor (18 months).

Laura (21) (Pearl) and Jadon (26ish) Martin welcomed their first child Aurora Lei on Aug 18.

Pregnancies:

Lily (21) (Robertson) and Austin (21) Stalbaum are expecting their first child in February 2025.

Deena (38) and Dan (33) Dillard are expecting their third child on February 19th of 2025. This baby will join 2 older brothers: Jaxon (5) and Brady (3). This is their rainbow baby.

Sarah (33) (Waller) and Brandon (32) Webster are expecting their first child on February 20, 2025.

Madi (28) (Prewitt) and Grant (28) Troutt are expecting their first child, a girl.

Weddings:

Jana Duggar and Stephen Wissmann got married on August 15. They did not announce their relationship until they were married, although there was much speculation.

Engagements:

Jason Duggar (24) asked Maddie Jones (20) to marry him on August 24. They are planning a spring wedding.

Queen Mary's Lozenge Tiara Has Been Found!

Queen Mary's Lozenge Tiara which was thought to have been languishing in the vault for six decades has been found with a member of a royal family - just not the British royal family.

The tiara first appeared on Queen Mary in the 1930s though it was likely made a bit earlier. She wore it with thirteen pearl shaped pearls attached to the top but those were removed by the time the tiara made it's way to Princess Margaret.

In 1948, the tiara was worn by Princess Margaret for her first tiara appearances during the inauguration festivities of Queen Juliana of the Netherlands. For a long time it was thought to be a loan but now seems to have been an 18th birthday present from her grandmother. She wore it a few times in her early years of tiara wearing but it was never a favorite and the last public appearance was in 1965. Princess Margaret did sell some jewels during her lifetime so it's not out of the question that this tiara was discreetly sold sometime after 1965 with no mention of the owner.

And now the current owner is Queen Azizah of Pahang! The tiara was bought by Queen Azizah in 1988 from a jeweler in New York City with no mention of it's provenance. It has been worn regularly by the family since.

Saad Salman from The Royal Watcher made the connection when he was in Malaysia for the wedding of Prince Muhammad and Natasya Adnan. He mentioned that they might be the same tiara to Queen Azizah and she invited him to take a closer look. She is very interested in historical jewelry and has been great about providing information about the Pahang collection. I'm a little sad because I've long wanted this one to appear on a member of the BRF but it's so wonderful that not only does the tiara still exist but it's still worn instead of being stuck in a vault.
