An Old photo of a doll I used to own, I made this flower set up in a way to express what I feel when I listen to My Bloody Valentine's Loveless

Sorry for the weird lighting lol.

Tried the Disney ILY 4ever clothes on Evie and she looks pretty great in them! The pink top was very loose, so i quickly took it in (shortened straps, took in back, added darts in front. Took 10 minutes tops) and now it's perfect. The pants look awesome, but like the MH bottoms, she can't sit in them while it's closed.

The second outfit was perfect as is tho, and bonus, she can sit in the skirt!

For reference, her body is the large bust Xagadoll 26cm heart body and fits most blythe clothes, some Rainbow High, and some of the G3 MH (the bigger bodies like Draculaura)

I wanted to take her out to another spot but it was about to rain.. then I discovered those bushes were already blossomning and I took the chance and totally worth it. I kinda missed how easy she is to handle.

put some embellishments on the little vampire coffin. they kinda stick out against the dark wood, so I might go back in and brush over them with some black. in any case, this is done until I find the right fabric for the inside.

I got to paint this lovely Peakswoods Goldie in normal skin last year as well. White eyebrows and eyelashes are still my personal nemesis, but I am improving with them slowly but surely!

Hello Tumblr, it's been a while!

We are Emi and Lea, currently going by rsdollatelier on most sns and we haven't been on here for some years! Before we ran three BJD related tumblrs so that was something🤣

We’re already on a lot of sns so this might be an overkill for us, but we want a blog of some sorts and we just weren’t finding a platform fitting us… so here we are!!

For anyone that doesn’t know us from somewhere else;

Hey! We are twins from Iceland that have been in the BJD hobby for over 10 years now. We took a few year hiatus from our dolls as life just got in the way, but we’ve been steadily growing our collection since early 2022💗

We mostly collect SD gals, but we love finding what kind of aestetic suits each doll, dressing them up and sharing their looks on Instagram and now here!

Our current family consists on gals from Peakswoods, Volks, Little Monica, Rosetta doll and Switch and we will work on introducing them all here🫶🏻

My Peakswoods girl got a change again - unintended but clothing and wig match so well. Her face up is still an old one. Maybe I will redo it in the future but for now she has to stay with it :)

I love doing pictures in front of windows or a light source. The image always gets a dreamy magical atmosphere ^o^

A much anticipated arrival today! It's a Xuan Zang head from Birdcube. I'd fallen in love seeing pictures even before the preorder, and I'm so glad my partner was able to snatch one for me!

It is such a beautiful sculpt, I'm really in love🥰

I'm not fully sure how to customise him yet, but i do have a precise character in mind (just... One for whom I don't really have a precise design yet, aside from the scarred face)

Head alone / with its mask

Body 1: Peakswood 68cm body, normal resin. Not the best colour match, and I'm not fond of how wide the shoulders look

Body 2: resinsoul Yang 70cm body, normal resin. The match is a little off (resinsoul is paler) but it doesn't look bad.

Body 3: telesthesia 69cm female body, normal pink. The colour match is near perfect. The overall look isn't bad I'd say (I'd have put the head on a female body if my initial plan didn't work, so I had to try this)

Body 4: telesthesia 68cm old male body, normal pink. Again, near perfect color match. The proportions are also very good I think. If I weren't determined to be a little weirdo about this, it's the body I'd pick (especially since very few bodies in that scale appeal to me personally)

Body 5: resinsoul Cen 60cm body in tan. And listen. Obviously the resin isn't the right color here. And the head's hole is too big for the neck so I had to put some silicone rings to make this work. But this is probably the body I'll order (in the right color)

Definitely not the body I'd recommend for this head, but I am an idiot and while I'd have compromised if it really didn't work, I also really want this man to be the same size as his boyfriend, who is a resinsoul Qian

What I did while I was gone

Bought stuff.

Resinsoul Mei on Souldoll Soul Kids new double body, Unoa Lucis on Peakswoods FOB body, Doll Leaves Hily (accidental purchase), and Iplehouse nSID Isabel.

Plus cat.

"Finished" Mei's face-up. I was going for a "make-under," but I used way too much pink, and she looks like she should be told that she's drunk and to go home. So she's going to get wiped.

Dollpamm Skinny body is a good hybrid for Fairyland Chicline.

Doll nudity.

Yes, that's a Kotobukiya kit behind her. I am ridiculous.

I own exactly two SD sized girls. And Seira was my first and I can tell i totally adore her. I just... don't do much with girls and even less with my bigger dolls :') she's a bit doomed here.

It doesn't change she's an absolute beauty.

time to show off what I'm working on right now: a coffin case for Malachi, my little peakswoods rabbit goon. I started with this plain coffin box, then carved it out to resemble actual boards before laying down some thin paint. that carving took forever ugh.

This handsome fella is a Peakswoods Lune the Dark Elf in suntanned skin. He was a lovely and kind of melancholic sculpt to work on!
