It was at this time that the delicious treat was served at the second inauguration party for the United States President at the time, James Madison. It is believed that this was accomplished prior to refrigeration with the use of huge blocks of ice that were stored in basement vaults and insulated with bales of hay.

Strawberry is also a favorite when it is combined with two other flavors of ice cream, chocolate and vanilla, to create what is known as Neapolitan. This treat seems to have originated in Naples, Italy and it is known for the fact that it is made in the form of a large block. During the early 19th century, this was particularly useful as the block gave it an advantage when it came to staying frozen during travel.

Oh yeah I been drawing these the past couple days. It’s mostly just random sketches

I don’t really know what I was doing with the line colors, but whatevs, it’s fine

First was the Dark Choco one, it was because I was thinking of the Nimona shark dance scene. I didn’t draw the shoulder pads because I didn’t want to

I think I wanted to draw one of the twin dragons with him, but since we don’t yet know what hey look like, I couldn’t

Then the Financier and Madeleine thing was just based on a headcanon I had about their relationship in the past. Basically my idea is that Financier was something of a mentor to Madeleine back in their academy days, with her being a couple years older than him. It’s also partially why in current day she’s not the fondest of him; not because she dislikes him, but because she’s frustrated he doesn’t live up to the full potential she knows he has. They’re supposed to be doing the Spider-Man pose meme

I had ideas for what to do for their hair, but nothing about their outfits. I just did whatever

After that I kind of ran out of ideas to draw. I asked someone on Discord and they told me to draw Parfait, so I drew her jamming out to rock on the floor. I had no references but I think it turned out fine

Then after that I decided to draw younger Carrow and Crunchy

Carrow was first, and it was like a redo of this old design I did of her old self back when I just got into the fandom

She’s supposed to be just starting out in the Watchers or training with them, around 12-14

Then after that I was going to draw small Crunchy Chip, but because I headcanon him to now be the oldest between this trio, I felt I had to draw him older to convey that, with him being around 18-20 here (at the time Carrow is 12-14). Honestly his design isn’t that good, Caramel Arrow’s is way better. I just didn’t really know what to do for it other than give him longer hair and maybe make him look moody? But yeah other than that he didn’t turn out that great

"Alright, who wants to join me to try out a new dessert cafe?" Gojo announced as he entered the common room with his signature grin.

Y/N's eyes lit up immediately. "Count me in, Gojo-sensei!"

Yuji looked up from his spot on the couch, thinking about his initial plans. "Well, I was going to help Nobara with her shopping, but... yeah, I'll come. Better than carrying all her bags."

Nobara, overhearing, walked over with a raised eyebrow. "Dessert cafe, huh? As tempting as that sounds, I already have plans to hit the shops. Fushiguro, you still coming with me, right?"

Megumi sighed, already resigned to his fate. "I'd rather deal with curses than go shopping, but fine."

Nobara shot Yuji a playful glare. "You're ditching me for desserts? Some friend you are."

Yuji grinned sheepishly. "Sorry, Nobara, but I can't pass up on this."

Gojo clapped his hands together. "Excellent! Nobara and Megumi have their plans, so it’s just us. We’ll have a blast!"

The trio arrived at the dessert cafe, its colourful decor and sweet aromas instantly making Y/N and Gojo feel giddy. They ordered an array of desserts—cakes, pastries, and ice creams—enough to satisfy their shared sweet tooth.

Gojo took a bite of his towering parfait and sighed contentedly. "Isn't this the best, Y/N?"

Y/N nodded enthusiastically, savouring a spoonful of chocolate mousse. "Absolutely, Gojo-sensei. This place is amazing!"

Yuji, enjoying a generous slice of strawberry cheesecake, chuckled. "I gotta admit, this was a great idea. So much better than shopping."

As they enjoyed their treats, Y/N glanced at Gojo curiously. "Gojo-sensei, I've always wondered—why do you have such a sweet tooth?"

Gojo paused, a thoughtful look crossing his face. "You know, it's something that started when I was young. I started eating sweets to stimulate my brain. The sugar helped keep me alert and sharp. Over time, I just developed a taste for them."

Y/N smiled, feeling a sense of connection. "That makes sense. For me, I love sweets because my parents used them to get me to train. I hated training, but they promised me dessert after every session. It worked every single time."

Gojo laughed warmly. "Smart parents. And now you're here, a jujutsu sorcerer with a sweet tooth like me."

As they continued to enjoy their treats, the conversation flowed easily. Gojo shared funny stories from his past missions, Yuji talked about his training progress, and Y/N, feeling comfortable, opened up more about their life.

As they left the cafe, the sun beginning to set, Gojo looked at his two students with a soft smile. "We should do this more often. I hope Nobara and Megumi can join us too next time."

"Definitely," Y/N agreed, already looking forward to their next outing.

Yuji grinned. "I'm in. As long as it doesn't involve carrying shopping bags."

Gojo laughed, ruffling Yuji's hair. "Deal. Next time, we’ll find another hidden gem. Maybe even a chocolate factory tour." Gojo grinned. "Speaking of next time, how about we make today even sweeter?"

Y/N's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "What do you mean, Gojo-sensei?"

"Follow me," Gojo said with a wink.

He led them to an upscale chocolate shop just a few blocks away. The luxurious displays and rich cocoa aromas were enough to make anyone's mouth water. Gojo pulled out his black card, waving it in front of his students' faces. "Pick whatever you want, kids. It's on me."

Yuji and Y/N exchanged excited glances before diving into the selections. They filled their bags with a variety of gourmet chocolates, feeling like kids in a candy store.

As they walked out of the shop, their bags full of treats, Y/N beamed up at Gojo. "Thanks, Gojo-sensei. This has been the best day ever."

Yuji nodded in agreement. "Yeah, thanks a lot. You're the best."

Gojo smiled warmly, feeling content when his students were happy, "Anytime, you two. Anytime."

Idia - Like A Shoujo Cliche

Prompt: Role Reversal Notes: I feel like this could be read as both a romantic and platonic interaction. Personally, I enjoy a more platonic Idia/Yuu pairing, like two siblings.

Idia fiddled with the headphones around his neck. The crowd passed in front of him like a sea of faceless NPCs. Idia clutched his tablet closer and took a small step back to avoid being trampled by a trio of giggling girls.

Why had he agreed to do this? Oh, yeah because Ortho bullied him into it. “This is a once in a lifetime chance, big brother!” Ortho had insisted. “It’s a limited-time offer, and it’s right here on Sage’s Island. Do you really wanna spend hundreds of thaumarks to buy the same Premo merch from a dirty scalper?”

Honestly, Idia hadn’t minded the thought at all. Sure, he hated people who bought fan merch for next to nothing and then sold it for ten times the amount, but it made his life a lot easier. Just click a few buttons and wait a few days for the package to arrive at the Mystery Shop. Easy, breezy.

And not panic inducing like standing here like a complete weirdo taking up space in front of a cutesy cafe.

“Idia!”

Idia jumped. He nearly lost his balance spinning to face the direction he had heard Yuu’s voice. She waved when they made eye contact. The sprint Idia did to reach her would have put his record times in PE to shame, and Vargas would have given him an immediate spot on the track team.

Idia grabbed Yuu’s wrist. “What took you so long? I thought we said ten sharp. You weren’t here at ten sharp!”

Yuu rolled her eyes. She shook her arm, but he refused to let go of her. “Stop acting like I completely ghosted you. I’m literally five minutes late.”

“You’re still late,” Idia insisted. He tucked his tablet into his pocket. He clung to Yuu’s arm with both hands. He cringed closer to her shoulder to avoid a group of normies taking up over half the sidewalk. “Do you have any idea how stressful all this is? I don’t come here on the regular. How am I supposed to blend in with all the normies?”

“The first step is to stop acting like you’re being tortured for just breathing,” Yuu said. She shook her arm again, but Idia clung to her out of sheer stubbornness now. She sighed. “Come on, Idia. We’re here to enjoy something you like. The least you can do is be a bit excited.”

Idia pouted. He was excited...once he got past all the anxiety of brushing shoulders with complete strangers. He enjoyed all the livestreams of Premo’s concerts; he watched all their interviews and was active in all the big fan groups. He collected memorabilia like it was no tomorrow. He just...had never experienced something actually live.

And it seemed a bit silly to be stepping into a cutesy, pastel cafe with him being all “doom-and-gloom" like.

“We’ll even get a few crepes,” Yuu insisted when he stayed quiet for too long. Instead of trying to pull herself free again, she gave one of his hands a friendly pat. “They don’t have energy drink flavor, but Cater said the hazelnut chocolate ones were pretty popular.”

The only response Idia could give was an embarrassing groan. How lame was this? He was giving off NEET vibes like a radioactive zombie in some post-apocalyptic world. No wonder all the girls who had passed him going into the cafe had giggled and whispered to each other while shooting him some major side-eye.

Idia clung to Yuu’s arm as they stepped through the cafe’s door. It was just like he had seen through the window: cheerful pastels and bubbly employees. He liked the little woodland creature mascots pictured on the walls and displayed on the tables, but he figured a noodle with flaming hair cooing over a cute rabbit would earn him more stares.

His eyes darted across the menu hanging on the far wall. A separate board had been placed to the side of it, and the darker colors immediately caught his eye. Premo’s band logo—a stylized eyeball with a golden thread circling it—was pictured beside a parfait with several blue and purple layers topped with a cloud of whipped cream and blueberries. Another treat—a crepe with blueberry whipped cream and a drizzle of golden caramel sauce topped with whole blueberries—was pictured alongside it.

The second treat made Idia tighten his grip on Yuu’s arm. “They’re advertising a crepe with the parfait! No one mentioned a crepe on the message board.”

Yuu chuckled and patted his forearm. “I’ll get that crepe then. Why don’t you go find a table for us? The line doesn’t look too long, and I should be able to get them myself.”

Idia nodded and made a quick beeline to the tiny table in the farthest corner. He tucked himself into the chair facing towards the rest of the cafe. The other tables were occupied with mostly girls, but he spotted a few guys here and there. Mainly with one girl, and the girl was giggling while the guy looked like he took every opportunity he could to put his arm on the back of her chair.

Idia’s nose wrinkled. Talk about a shoujo manga cliche. Idia bet they had some equally cliche interaction, like the girl getting whipped cream on her cheek and the guy wiping it away with his thumb and saying something swoon-worthy. Then they’d continue their date and later have a “will-they-won't-they" kissing moment before someone else interrupts. It was kinda lame to think about it.

Idia’s tablet buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out without hesitation and found a message from Ortho. He was asking if Idia and Yuu had made it to the cafe yet. He grinned and typed out a response before holding his tablet up to take a picture of the limited-time menu options. Ortho would get as hyped as him about the extra crepe option.

Yuu stood at the counter just below the menu. She pointed up at the board just as Idia took the picture. He giggled at the serendipitous moment and shot the pic off into cyberspace. Ortho immediately responded with a happy face.

The next time he looked up, he found Yuu flanked by two guys. She held a tray with the Premo desserts and squinted up at the guys. Her head bounced back and forth as if they were talking too quickly for her to even form a response.

Idia sat frozen in his chair. Was he supposed to jump up and help her? From what he knew, Yuu usually handled her own problems without any issue. She had definitely handled guys on the campus that were twice her size. Idia getting into the mix would just cause more problems. Yeah, he was better off just waiting right here...

One of the guys grabbed her elbow. Yuu immediately jerked to the side in an attempt to free herself. The motion nearly knocked the parfaits off the tray.

Idia had crossed the cafe before he even realized it. He huffed when he reached the trio. “Are you guys some kind of shoujo creeps who can’t take a hint? The girl’s not interested.”

The guys spun on him. From a distance, they had looked to be bigger than Yuu, but up close, Idia actually thought they looked shorter than her, which made them way shorter than him. They blinked up at him like they didn’t know how to respond. Yuu blinked at him in the same way.

Idia widely grinned with false bravado. “Not so tough when you’re up against someone bigger, huh?”

One of the guys stuttered and looked down at his shoes. The other guy, the one still holding Yuu, pointed an accusing finger at her. “She doesn’t even know the names of Precipice Moirai!”

Idia’s grin faltered, and it was his turn to be confused. “Huh?”

“She can’t even name a Premo song!” the guy insisted. He pulled on Yuu’s arm again, but she braced herself to keep him from shaking anything on the tray. She glared at the guy but didn’t say anything. “The limited-time parfait and crepe are for real Premo fans. Not some fake fan who doesn’t even realize how valuable the reusable parfait cup and limited-edition crepe button pin are!”

The turn of events, while still shocking, immediately made Idia cackle. He loomed over the guy still holding Yuu, his grin widening. “For real? You’re really that type of guy. What gives you the right to gatekeep, bruh? Over a buncha sweets too? Premo would legit disown you plebs. They’d be the first to say the threads of fate can guide anyone to them. You’re thinking of clipping that thread prematurely? Lame.” Idia took a deep breath and scowled at the speechless guy. “And FYI, Yuu’s tots a fan. She might not be able to hold a tune, but she’s def jammed to a Premo song or two while waiting to queue into a game lobby. I got the proof right here—.”

“Okay!” Yuu’s abrupt interjection made all three of them jump. The guy holding her jerked away like her arm was a hot iron skillet. She shrugged between the guys to stand next to Idia. “I think we get the point. And they’re not going to gatekeep anymore because they really shouldn’t judge a person without knowing them. Right?”

The two guys picked up Yuu’s scary authoritative vibes and snapped to attention. “Yes, ma’am.”

“Good.” Yuu paused. She lightly gestured the tray at them. “Now, uh, go order your own parfaits and crepes.”

The guys nodded and practically tripped their way back to the counter. Idia snickered. Idia would be the first to admit he was an otaku, but it was hilarious to watch other weebs embarrass themselves.

Yuu nudged his side with her elbow, and Idia followed her back to the table where he’d left his tablet. It wasn’t until they were seated that he realized a good number of the other customers were staring in their direction. Mainly the girls, who immediately started whispering and giggling with each other when he looked in their direction.

His face warmed with his own embarrassment, and he ducked his head into his jacket. Yuu pushed one of the Premo parfaits and the crepe in front of him and took the other parfait for herself. She grabbed one of the Premo buttons, the cellophane bag crinkling between her fingers. “Can I open this or am I committing a Premo sin?”

Idia snickered and temporarily forgot about the girls giggling at him. “I don’t care. I’ll keep mine sealed just for the collector’s value of it.”

“Cool.” Yuu unwrapped the button and swung her canvas shoulder bag onto her lap. She pinned the button to the flap of the bag. The ink used to print Premo’s logo shimmered when she moved the flap. “I’ve never actually seen the band’s logo before, but I like it!”

Idia rolled his eyes and grabbed his tablet to take pictures of the parfait and crepe. “I can’t believe you just admitted that. After I just sacrificed what little dignity I had to defend you against those gatekeeping dweebs.”

“Your sacrifice was greatly appreciated.” Idia rolled his eyes again, but Ortho had already responded to the pictures. Idia quickly responded to his brother’s awe. “By the way, thanks for the save. They were saying things I’ve never even heard from you.”

“How about we just forget that big flub,” Idia said. He grabbed the tiny spoon for the parfait but paused. He squinted and decided to attack the crepe first. “I’m already gonna suffer remembering it later.”

“I don’t see why,” Yuu argued. She didn’t have an issue stabbing the fluffy whipped cream of the parfait. Idia stared in horror as she shoveled the edible cloud onto a napkin to reach the sour yogurt beneath. “I think you made half the girls in here swoon.”

Idia choked on the large bite of crepe and blueberry whipped cream he had just taken. He stared at Yuu with wide eyes. “You’re kidding, right? Girl’s swooning over me? More like they were grossed out.”

Yuu’s eyelids drooped. “I think you underestimate the first impression you give some people. It’s not until you open your mouth that they get second thoughts, though this time it actually worked in your favor.”

Idia scoffed and went in for another bite. He froze when he realized Yuu was leaning towards him. She casually—almost too casually—swiped her thumb across his cheek at the corner of his mouth. She pulled back with a dollop of blue cream on her thumb. “Sometimes I wonder how any of you boys survive with the messes you make.”

She popped her thumb into her mouth, and Idia thought he was going to melt into a puddle of embarrassed shoujo cliche.

I wanted to make a nice and "simple" comic for today, so I chose to show off some of my headcanon relationships.

Explanations for each panel under the cut

Black Garlic is so obviously a Licofait kid. I mean, come on, she's a streamer obsessed with the undead and has big hair with white bangs and wears clothes with big, droopy sleeves. Also Poison Mushroom is there because, out of all of the Cookies of Darkness, they seem to hang around Licorice a lot. I see Licorice holding a sort of older brother role to them.

Read this comic that I spent an excessive amount of time on for context and also this one I guess, but to summarize, Pastry adopts Strawberry Crepe and eventually she marries Red Velvet. I JUST WANT HER TO BE HAPPY. Also Chiffon is sitting in this weird spot where they are like a pet to Pastry and Strawberry Crepe, but more like a son to Red Velvet.

Context here, but basically Sour Belt and Choco Bonbon are fashion wives and Adventurer is a protective son. Also, I just realized that would maybe make Dino-Sour Adventurer's uncle-in-law, or not, I don't know how it works.

Alchemist and Vampire are just annoyed genius younger sibling and obnoxious dumbass older sibling. Truly the Dexter and Deedee of current year.

Hi Everyone!! Here are some brand new next gens for my Blossom Love AU. Cole, Cherry Cream, Fruity Parfait, Cherry Latte and Miles's parents are Ogden Ortiz and Cherry Jubilee. Cole, Cherry Cream and Fruity Parfait are a set of triplets with Cole being the oldest, Cherry Cream being the middle child and Fruity Parfait being the youngest in the trio. Cherry Latte was born a few years later then followed by Miles a few more years after that. Cole is a huge sweetheart and loves to listen and help others with their problems. He's also very kind and loves animals. Cole is an expert mixologist and can make any drink into a cherry themed drink hence why he got his cutie mark. He currently works as the same bar that Sasha (Mike Schmidt and Jeremy Fitzgerald's daughter) works at and he has a pretty good friendship with Sasha. Cherry Cream is super sweet, very strong and doesn't like to take anyone's shit especially when it comes to them making fun of her family and friends. Cherry Cream is a world renowned musical artist and often has gigs at the same bar that Cole and Sasha work at. Her love for singing and her beautiful singing voice is how she got her cutie mark. Cherry Cream and Sasha also have a good friendship with each other. Fruity Parfait can be very shy and quiet, but once you get to know her better, she starts to come out of her shell and is very bubbly and sweet. She's also super smart and has mastered a dozen languages. Fruity Parfait can make amazing cherry themed jellies and jams, which is how she got her cutie mark. Cherry Latte is kind and really bubbly, but can be very timid especially around new people. She's amazing at making floral bouquets and arrangements for any occasion whether it be for Valentine's Day or even Easter. Cherry Latte wants to be a florist when she's older and have her own floral shop. Miles is very bubbly and loves to be around his family. He's also quite curious about most things and is often staring in awe at anything he sees as interesting. Claude’s lore video starts off with a memory of himself back when he was a child alongside a friend of his, energetically striking a pose making Claude laugh. In the memory, his friend appeared as a young boy having messy light brown hair with a black streak above a subtle undercut, a bandaged nose and cheek with a deep scar on his right eyebrow, and vibrant emerald green eyes. As they grew up, the two are shown working hard to pursue their own separate future dreams and goals. For Claude, these goals would be related to his Cleric studies, while for his friend, aligning into something more combat based. This often caused his friend to frequently become injured and can be seen being helped up by Claude while in a bruised, weakened state. Some time after the passing of his friend, a young wounded patient under Claude’s care waves to him and for a brief moment fades to appearing as a past memory resembling when he used to take care of his childhood friend, quickly fading back to the patient and a smile on Claude’s face.

On the golden attachment to his upper shirt, Claude has mentioned that the flowers dangling down are specifically foxgloves. It is notable that foxgloves are very dangerous flowers with extremely poisonous chemicals that are fatal if ingested and in rare cases can have it’s toxins even be absorbed just through touching or inhaling the plant. Despite its dangers, it has medical purposes that are typically used in the drug Digoxin to treat cardiac conditions and most commonly in heart failure, though it can have potential toxic side effects. Claude has not confirmed why he wears them or their purpose and the reason currently remains unknown.

Salut , j'ai découvert tes fanfiction sur AO3 car après avoir vu le comte de monte cristo au cinema je me suis de suite empréssée a voir si il n'y avait pas de fanfiction sur le net quand je suis tombée sur les tiennes et je tiens à dire que je ne suis pas déçue, tu as vraiment su retranscrire L'Amour et le lien familial qui unit Édmond,haydée et andré c'est vraiment dommage que on n'explore pas leur relation davantage dans le film (même si je sais que 3h pour condenser un livre de 1000 pages et quelque c'est assez sérré et le film reste incroyable) .Apparemment dans l'oeuvre originale haydée était amoureuse du comte , heureusement que ce n'est pas le cas dans le film sinon cela m'aurait gâcher l'expérience du film et cela est d'ailleurs la seule raison pour laquelle je n'ai pas passer le cap et lu le livre , je préfère largement l'idée d'un lien paternel entre haydée , André et le comte dans le sens où au début , le comte considérerai les deux enfants comme des outils afin d'assouvir sa vengeance puis au fil du temps s'attendrit et commence à les considérer comme ses propres enfants ce qui est bien mieux qu'un triangle amoureux entre le comte ,haydée et mercédès que j'aurais trouvé horrible .

Oui, j'ai aussi fait une drôle de tête en lisant un recap du livre... Je suis bien content qu'ils aient changé ça dans le film! Pour avoir vu des itw des acteurices et des metteurs en scène, ils avaient clairement exprimé le souhait de "moderniser" l'oeuvre ou en tout cas de la réadapter en quelque sorte à notre époque, ce changement fait partie de cette volonté et je les applaudis pour ça, non seulement parce que ça donne une autre dimension aux personnages mais aussi parce que c'est, je trouve, très bien amené.

Et c'est un régal d'écrire des relations familiales sur ce trio (ou plus, selon mon humeur), chaque personnage a vraiment sa propre profondeur, ses qualités, ses défauts, sa personnalité propre. Les faire évoluer ensemble est très agréable!

"Bacon started the comic as a member of the blt trio, originally meant to protect the princess but with overtaking of their castle they don't do that really, the other members of the blt trio really dislike Bacon, Tomato more so than Lettuce but Lettuce is not so great either, they regularly pick on her for her forgetfulness and generally are rude as hell. When Tomato decides that Bacon is getting in the way of him flirting with the princess (yeah its not Bacon dude Parfait hates u bc ur u) He promptly kicks Bacon out of their team. After this she somehow ends up in the melody kingdom? Organetto more specifically, and is roped into a play performance written and starred in by Count Legato, she plays the villain, Xylophonia and promptly steals the show by being the best (low bar bc the play sucks and Bacon actually is good at acting but yeah) she is interupted but for her amazing performance she actually gets a standing ovation! She doesn’t show up for a bit but this actually gets her a pretty good acting job on the show Pretty Protector Punisher Pumice as Pumice’s friend (who she’s totally in love with) Pancetta, she realizes her dream of being a pop idol and also this helps her realize she’s trans! She befriendeds a few crew members on Pumice including weird freak hyper realistic rabbits gary who also almost dies when the nightmare knight shows up on set so his minion/daughter can get Bacon’s autograph (but its chill no one dies) and yeah she’s doing pretty good!"
