One of my favorite Kid Icarus headcanons is that Palutena and Pit remember their first meeting completely differently, be it because Pit views it through rose-tinted glasses or because he genuinely doesn't remember their actual first meeting
It's funny to imagine Pit starting to tell this wonderful story when people ask, only for Palutena to cut in and say stuff like "Actually you just ate, puked on your dad's shoulder, pulled my hair and then had the audacity to laugh", making double question marks manifest directly above Pit's head

if you’ve been following a lot of my recent stuff, you’ve probably noticed (or maybe you haven’t, idk!) that I’ve been tagging a few art posts as ‘pitverse’. You’ve also probably noticed that I’ve provided no context to these posts what-so-ever! and that sucks! So to explain a bit, I present:
”surachi what the heck is pitverse”
Tumblr media
Okay, first. ‘Pitverse’ is a working title. Maybe. It’s cheesy, but I kinda like it because it’s cheesy.
Anyways, if you’ve been following me for a while, you may or may not remember this art where I designed a bunch of pits that were loosely based on the different ending to the original Kid Icarus on the NES. Some took influence from different places (eg. the solider ending heavily drawing inspiration from Kid Icarus: of Myths and Monsters) and some were completely made up (eg. the farm ending’s design). It was fun! And it pretty much started this whole idea to begin with.
Tumblr media
I’d draw some stuff here and there for it, but other than that I never really did much with the idea other than ‘oh hey look designs’. That is until it came up again a couple years later when I started to get *really* into oMaM stuff, which led to me coming back to the idea of a weird multiverse thing.
Thanks to a few friends, we talked about it and eventually it became like a four-swords adventure multiverse labyrinth thing. Pandora’s Labyrinth times twelve. So as it is right now, it’s like a hypothetical game where some new *evil big bad* takes a handful of Pits from different universes/timelines and plops them into some pocket dimension of different levels and challenges, and together, they have to find out what the heck going on.
Tumblr media
Right now, I think I’m gonna try to keep it to three Pits for simplicity sake. Obviously, Pit from Kid Icarus: Uprising has to be here, that’s our guy. He’s also the protagonist! He’s left relatively unchanged in this AU. This also takes place in a post-game setting, so he’s already fought Hades. This applies to the other guys as well, even if their hypothetical “games” and adventures aren’t actually real (Factor) or heavily rewritten (Myth) here.
Tumblr media
Good news is that Uprising Pit can still communicate with Palutena! But he’s the only one out of the bunch that can. (Would’nt that have been nice? Imagine all the work you could get done with THREE Palutenas [haha reference]). In this AU’s logic, Uprising’s world in the pocket-dimension what-ch-ma-have-it space is closer to the one where this takes place, so (Uprising) Palutena is able to establish a decent enough connection to at least communicate, though it’s not the best. The other Pit’s worlds are further away, so communication with their respective realms are off the table. This also causes other problems like occasionally “bugging out” and forgetting stuff since they’re so far from their original worlds. So Uprising Pit got kinda lucky.
Tumblr media
Speaking of other Pits, there’s other Pits! Both of them draw inspiration from things previously done/involved in the franchise so they’re not entirely made up, but they do stray pretty far from their source material. Anyway..first, we have Factor! He’s heavily inspired by Factor 5’s rendition of Pit from their “Icarus” project back in 2007-2008 that was turned down. Here, this AU’s interpretation of the idea is a little more in line with the franchise’s overall light-hearted and goofy nature. (In this AU the Pit’s are taken from different points in time, so he would’ve been plucked from the future. I did this so 1. They all could look visually distinct from each other, and 2. the thought of Factor going “oh he doesn’t know about [x] yet” or Uprising Pit insisting Myth to NOT go after the wish seed in the future was funny.)
Tumblr media
Next…there’s Myth! He’s based on Kid Icarus: of Myths and Monsters, and besides a few plot points he’s pretty much just a modern take on the character. He was easier to pin down because while the concept of Factor’s story was interesting, being banished from the heavens for some unspecified crime, it’s pretty vague in comparison. With Myth, there’s an entire game with a plot to go off of, even if this AU strays a bit from it.
Tumblr media
That’s pretty much the basics of this AU! Just a couple of Pits going on an adventure getting into other-worldly shenanigans. I’m having a ton of fun with it and hopefully I can develop the idea more as I go along. Thanks for reading! There’s some extra footnotes and miscellaneous doodles below.
Tumblr media
• This AU follows the idea that oMaM takes place in a different timeline than Kid Icarus: Uprising, hence it not being referenced (at least not on purpose, I’m looking at you aurum track accidentally having the same intro motif) or mentioned. Plus y’know, Sakurai not knowing it existed so there’s that. Might as well rework it into a weird explanation. (coping)
• All of these worlds take place in different timelines, so Factor isn’t an older version of Uprising Pit, nor is Uprising an older version of Myth. They’re all still Pit, and all of them have fought Medusa, but it had different outcomes (somewhat based on the endings) and at that point they diverged from each other. • I’ll probably change the naming of the Pits at some point. While they’re good right now, I’m not sure if I wanna keep Factor named after a company. Might have their names based off the titles of their respective games, so instead of “Factor”, “Myth”, and “Uprising” it’d be “Icarus” (based on the project’s internal name), “Myth”, and “Uprising”.

Sorry to bother you a second time with an ask(none of my friends know kid Icarus so I got no one to talk to about)
But when hades pokes fun at pits inability to fly palutena states “his wings just don’t work right”
I googled “wing deformities” and the first thing that came up was angel wing, a deformity where rapid wing development causes the wing to outgrow proper bone support, causing the wing to bend out at an unnatural angle and a permanent inability to fly
And what’s it caused by?
An unhealthy diet of rich protein and carbohydrates.
And we know pit loves food. Specifically things like sweets and fast food, based on his distaste for veggies as stated in Palutenas Revolting Dinner
I rest my case
Well apologies, but I am going to challenge your case! A year late! (I am always happy to receive ask dw)
And if anyone notices mistakes below please comment! espically with formatting.
Angel Wing Syndrome
Angel Wing Syndrome is a deformity that effects aquatic birds, such as ducks and geese. Angels, like Pit, are typically inspired by the Dove and other birds that are typically non-aquatic birds. But let's say Pit is a swan or something, this still doesn't fit.
Angel Wing Syndrome also limits or completely restricts a bird from flying, which isn't the case for Pit, he can flap/glide on his own and with assistance from the Gods, can fly. If he had Angel Wing Syndrome he would mostly likely not be able to fly at all.
Not to matter that was make Angel Wing Syndrome so recognisable it the physical deformity is has on the bird. Having vitals feathers pulled to the rear. Pit clearly does not have this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Though I will agree Pit doesn't have the best diet.
There are 10 possible food to have for health, this includes:
Fruits: apples, melons, grapes,
Meaty Foods: meat, hamburgers, sushi
Junk food: cakes, ice cream, doughnuts, bars of chocolate.
There is no vegetables! Unless you count anything in the burger haha.
Tumblr media
But this ask did make me wonder, why can't Pit fly? And if there is any evidence in game to why.
I seem to find in an answer in by comparing when Pit can fly vs when he cannot.
Pit's Wings
In the original game he looks like this (oh gods the quality I apologise)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
His wings go along his upper back, though pretty small right? Only reaching the neck when stretched out.
Tumblr media
But now look at him with the Wings of Pegasus, they reach his head. Now while this could just be a visual to show the Pegasus' Wings Superiority, but perhaps Pit's wings aren't big enough to carry his weight.
But before I came to a conclusion, I looked at Uprising
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
First two (top layer) are Pit's wings normally where as the last two (bottem) layer is when the Miracle of Flight is activated. It may be hard to see but his wings are bigger when the Miracle of Flight is activated. You can see this when Pit jumps out at the start of a chapter, but can also see this in the cutscene in Ring of Chaos , when Viridi activated Flight.
You can see his wings grow. As seen in the images below and at the beginning of the clip.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I also looked at the pegasus wings for Uprising, but they are turned off because of potential unreliability, according to Palutenas(see image one below), hence they aren't any bigger than normal miracle of flight(image two below).
Note: when Pit is extracted from battle his wings do not change. (image three below)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So when Miracle of Flight is activated, Pit's wings grow? It that just a special detail or does Pit need bigger wings?
Dark Pit's Wings
To figure this out we can also use Dark pit for when he gets Pandora Power.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pre-Pandora, his wings are similar to Pit's(see first image), but when he gets Pandora they almost double in size (see second image), you can really feel the difference.
But what is fascinating, is that when you fight him again, his wings are back to the average size (see third image). At first I thought this was an inconsistency, but no, as after the battle he seems to activate his wings, become big again (see fourth image).
Dark pit doesn't gain/have better wings, he gains power to activate his own infinite Miracle of Flight, which also make his wings bigger. He seems to prefer smaller wings for flighting (as they probably make them both lighter on their feet).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This makes me think that the Pits don't have big enough (or at the very least strong enough) wings to carry them. So the Miracle of Flight acts as an aid that give them these things while in flight (as Dark pit chooses to deactivated on the ground).
This is probably the answer.
(more speculation below)
But if that is the case, the biggest question is
Why does Pit's Wings Burn/Why is there a limit to the Miracle of Flight?
This part now is just speculation. (Also I am ignoring the last scene of 15min flying for this post, as I just think it's just a credit thing.)
Is seems that if the Miracle of Flight is used for too long Pit gets burnout both metaphorically and physically, his wings catch aflame due to the limit. So why is there a limit, and why does Dark Pit not have it?
The only difference between Pit and Dark Pit is how they gain their miracle of flight.
Dark Pit absorbed Pandora's power, making it his own. Therefore the power he uses to fly is (temporary) his own that he can control and regulate. Whereas Pit has someone else acting upon him, gods for that matter. Who cannot regulate their power being exerted upon him as well as Dark Pit can on himself.
I think it's the different between external vs internal regulation that is the difference between Pit and Dark Pit here. Dark Pit can know exactly how much power/usage he needs for flight whereas the gods made be just shoving a bunch of power in Pit's wings, not knowing how to regulate it correctly to Pit's needs. For the Miracle of Flight to be safe and unlimited, Pit has to be the one giving power to his wings.
But in order to get that power he has to steal it, which has been shown to be unsustainable as Pandora lived on in Dark Pit's wings. Not only that but it had to be all of Pandora's power, who was a goddess. So I don't think Palutena can simply give this power to Pit, as is has to be the power of an entire deity, but if you absorb that power, the deity lives on. While the circumstances of Pandora's revival were rare, there no certain way to know that there isn't other ways an absorbed deity can get their power back.
This makes in unlikely that Pit could one day fly on his own indefinitely. Though can offer explanation on why Dark Pit can fly. But alas, this part is more speculative than the other (hence under the cut). But it is interesting to think about.
Thanks for the ask!

(before anything: yes, I did stay up well past midnight just to work on this. I hope the time was worth the making of this artwork!)
“Above all, video games are meant to just be one thing: Fun for everyone.” - Satoru Iwata
It's been 9 years already. Thank you for everything, Iwata-san. May you and your legacy still live on <3
Peach is wearing a black version of her normal dress, while sporting her alternative haircut from the first intermission of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
Zelda is wearing a black version of her Breath of the Wild dress, which is a reference to when Iwata was alive during the development of the game, as well as the "Satori Mountain" location in said game.
Gardevoir, Delphox and Zero Suit Samus are all wearing originally designed dresses, although Delphox's dress is (very loosely) based on male Byleth's design from Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
Palutena is wearing a black version of her dress from Kid Icarus: Uprising, but with added mesh over her shoulders to make it less suggestive. She is also wearing a magatama bead on her neck, which makes sense given that she's a goddess. I actually decided at the last minute on drawing this to include her here because she was announced to appear in Smash Bros. at E3 2014, where we also got a snippet of Reggie Fils-Aime's and Iwata's Miis fighting each other on Palutena's Temple.
Made with Aseprite v1.3.7. Permission is not required to use, but credit is highly appreciated. Thank you!

PROPAGANDA
Katsuki Bakugou
trust me bro
Dark Pit
PS: THIS IS ALL ONE PROPAGANDA
Most of Dark Pit's mischaracterization comes from the fact that he's in SSBU- everyone assumes he's like every other nintendo clone; evil and just a 'bad' version of the original. But he's not!! Even the characters in his own game think he's just cruel by nature, when he's never actually done anything wrong. He's a dick, yes, but wouldn't you be a bit pissy if you kept getting dragged into a war you want no part in, called a name crafted specifically to belittle your own existence?
Dark Pit was created when Pit, the original, was on a mission to destroy a mirror that would copy anything that stood before it, since the villians were using it to create an army. It's incredibly important to note that it does NOT create 'evil' versions or even just copy the body and leave the personality at home. It's a 1:1 conversion. Unfortunately, the villians also knew Pit would destroy the mirror quite directly, standing in front of it (or more accurately, flying kicking towards it) and triggering the copy to be made. It was shattered midway through creation, creating Dark Pit- something the villians were hoping would happen, as Pit is the last angel to exist and they REAAAALLY want their own angel.
Immediately everyone assumes Dark Pit is just evil by default- even the villian is gloating about her new minion, but he immediately rejects that and punches the villian and helps you in the fight. He steals her power and flies away after, but its important to realize that Dark Pit could've just allied with the villians for the same result, and instead chose to be alone. Sure, he's kinda a dick to Pit, but he hasn't done anything outright evil. Just took a dead god's power in order to fly and left.
Cue the next mission where Palutena calls Dark Pit 'twisted' and 'inherently corrupt' like ma'am where??? Hes just an asshole cmon, you would be too if your birth parent is a reflective piece of glass. You go off on a mission to try and KILL him, and he obviously defends himself- once again, he's done nothing outright wrong. He's rude and aggressive, yes, but he literally doesn't want ANY part of all this war between gods shit, and here you are killing him for merely existing. During the final battle of the mission Dark Pit tells Pit that he is his reflection, and that they're the same person- Dark Pit is just more than willing to say the things Pit refuses to admit to himself.
AND HE'S RIGHT. Dark Pit believes the gods are selfish, are using Pit as a tool for their own gain, and that the world would be better off without them since all they ever seem to do is cause war and destruction. If you pay attention to how Pit reacts to the world around him, he DOES share these beliefs but instead of acting on them, he just buries it. Pit will even snap at the gods about half-way through the game, telling them outright that its THEIR war that is destroying the planet and that THEY'RE all at fault. Dark Pit is NOT an evil clone; he's an inversion. Everything Pit hides away, he wears on his sleeve, and interestingly, everything Pit openly is, DARK PIT STILL IS TOO. He, just like Pit, hides it away instead of admiting it.
After the fight Dark Pit runs away, and shows up mainly as an ally to Pit going forward. The game mentions further how kinda fucked up Dark Pit's whole situation is- if Pit's soul is removed from his body, Dark Pit just DOESN'T EXIST during that time. If Pit dies, Dark Pit dies, and he has no control over it. He never even gets his own name- its either Dark Pit, or his nickname of 'Pit two' (Pitto). If Pit ever attacks Dark Pit and tries to kill him, there's little Dark Pit could ever really do; In the game he'll defend himself and try and kill you, but at that point he's dead either way. His life is barely his own.
Worst part is, SSBU confirms Dark Pit allied with Viridi after the events of Kid Icarus Uprising. I cannot STRESS how horrible that is for his characterization so far. Viridi is the god of nature and hates humanity for even existing, with her first appearance being her dropping NUKES onto towns and cities to purge humanity. And Dark Pit now works as a commander under her. Either Viridi has to mellow out REAL damn fast and stop nuking medieval humans, or they accidentally wrote Dark Pit to be a Human Murderer (we specifically know Viridi sends her commanders to kill off anyone who survives her nature nukes). Really hope this stays in the realm of 'not canon' because holy shit there's so many better options to pick from than the 'little girl god with a hit list and a factory of bombs'.
(Not even sure WHY Dark Pit, who thinks gods are selfish and use angels like tools, would want to ally with a god. Yes, he can't fly without a god's help, but even then why ally with the most vindictive and murder-happy god that isn't Hades??? Poor dude really just needs a break from all the gods to sort out who he is and to start building his own life independently from Pit)

Kid Icarus Uprising is definitly one of oy favorite 3DS games ! I just finished it and loved every second of it. In this game, you play as Pit, an angel. Helped by Lady Palutena, goddess of light, you will fight the armies of the underworld in order to save the world from Hades. I especially enjoyed the characters in this game. But I'll come back to that later.
Each level is composed of two phases : air battle and land battle. Air battle is a rail shotyer while land battle allows you free movement. Similarly to Star Fox 64's levels. Your objectives is to shoot as many ennemies as possible to obtain hearts (some sort of currency) and a high score. At the beginning of each level you will bet hearts : the more hearts you bet, the harder the level will be, but you'll get better rewards.
You also have a variety of weapons to choose from. I personally like the long-range weapon better, as well as fast ones. I especially enjoy playing with the bow, but staffs and blades are good too. I do not like claws, clubs and arms. I haven't played with palms, orbitars and cannons too much.
You can fuse your weapons to get better ones : weapons in this game don't have stats, but they all have effects, and by fusion weapons, you can get a mix of effects that corresponds better to your playstyle.
The story is 25 chapters long. The dialogues and fighting happen at the same time. Thourought the chapters, you will meet a varued cast of chatacters. Mostly gods.
Speaking of characters ! As much as I love Pit, my favorite character is Magnus. He appears in chapter two as an ally, and you fight with hil for most of the level. He's badass as hell and very strong ! He's also mysterious. We don't know much about him or his past. At some point you even play as Magnus ! Which is insanely cool !! Of course, I like Pit too, as well as Dark Pit (I'm sorry but Pittoo is fuckin ridiculous). Pit's cute. Dark Pit is... kinda there ? But cool. And, well, Hades. The big bad guy. He radiates fun. I always like it when villains are joking around while destroying the world like it's nothing.
However, as enjoyable as this game is, it also has a lot of cons :
This game is essentially a twin stick shooter. On a 3DS. See what's wrong ? The console only has one circle pad. In order to control your camera/aiming, you have to use the touch screen. The controls, overall, are a pain in the ass.
The difficulty is something you can easily manipulate in this game. However, the difference between how difficult the level is and how difficult the bosses are is... astounding. The bosses are way too easy compared to the levels. It takes like, about a minut to finish one, whereas the the regular air and land battles are quite difficult. It's a good challenge, but it's unbalanced.
As I said, the dialogues and fighting happen at the same time, and it's really difficult to follow both. While tou can change where the subtitles (if you want them) are displayed, I took way too much damage when trying to follow the story.
I feel like the characters are under-developped. I'm taking back Magnus as an example. We have very little informations about his motivations, and why he is almost as powerful as an angel is never explained. Dark Pit suffers the wame fate : his whole existence is... pointless. He was kinda accidentally created, and by how he was portrayed at first, we would expect him to become an antagonist, or at least a secondary one. But no. Oh, but then, does he become a good guy ? Not exactly either. He is... kinda neutral. The thing I'm the most annoyed by is that his role is... well, he doesn't really have one. His action don't affe t the story too much. I wish he had been more important.
I also wish there was more bonuses when you finish the game. You do get a boss rush challenge, but I wish we'd at least get the option to change the menu's theme : either Palutena's or Viridi's. I would've LOVED a Hades theme. Oh, one small detail I like about the menu is that you can move the buttons around. It's very fun to play with.
One last thing that disappointed me : the vehicles. Don't get me wrong, I love the vehicles. Cherubot is my favorite one. But the game does not use them to their full potential. They are sometimes found in levels. You can do à section with them. But that's all. I wish there were levels dedicated entirely to these vehicles. For example : I don't remember when this happens, but there's a part in which you have to use the motorcycle on a trail, and this was a good use of the motorcycle.
In conclusion, Kid Icarus : Uprising is an excellent game for all people looking for fun ! It does have cons, but hey all games do, and they don't ruin the gameplay or anything, so it's fine. I enjoyed playing this game, and I think you would too !

THE OBSESSION HAS STRUCK AGAIN SO I REDESIGNED MY KID ICARUS OC
There's a bit of stuff about canon characters if you're interested but be warned this is mainly about my OC(s)
Tumblr media
Info about her under the cut!
Aera is an ex servant of Aphrodite that defected during the Trojan War. She was a part of an elite group of Cupids (Basically Aphrodite's Angels? Im workshopping it) before joining Palutena's army, eventually making her way up to an army general. She defected because she fell in love with the Goddess of Light. She stole her bow when she left, and it's actually the Angel's Bow you use in Kid Icarus: Uprising!
Cupids are kinda like angels, but with hollow bones and dove wings, which are weaker. They were also, for the most part, free to do as they please as long as it fell in line with Aphrodite's mission statement of "causing love and problems". Aera argued that her leaving the army to elope with another goddess participating in the Trojan War did both and that she should've gotten a severance package for it.
That's not all- she's also Pit's mom! Kinda. She's not quite.. sure how he got there. She just kinda found him in a fruit basket full of Quince and Figs one day when he was a baby (hence the name Pit!) with a note attached saying it was hers. She didn't really question it since she just thought that's how angels were born. In all actuality it was Aphrodite in an attempt to get her taken off of Palutena's guard. It did not work.
The reason I believe Pit can't fly (at least in my lore) because his wings are dove wings, but his bones aren't hollow and therefore the wings cant support his weight! When a god grants him his flying abilities, they're really just temporarily granting him angel wings instead of his dove wings, and you could hypothetically do the same spell with any human.
Tumblr media
Oh yeah in this lore I've created Palutena is Pit's other mom. She is not aware of this. Aphrodite never told her this. Love wins in strange ways. At least Palutena gets to keep Aera's statue-d corpse from Medusa's first invasion to Skyworld all those years ago? Silver linings people.
Facts about Aera that are more about how she affected the world around her than her:
She's the reason Palutena dresses the way she does now and not like she did back in the first game! Once Pit saved Palutena and they made their way back to the temple, Palutena... borrowed some of Aera's clothes. Over the years, it just became her fashion sense! Not like Aera needs them anymore.
She shared a house with her friend named Ivory! During the invasion of Skyworld, Ivory had managed to escape on a cloud, since they were actually one of Hermes's servants who had been negotiating sky travel with Palutena in the messenger god's stead. They had tried to take Pit with them when they fled, as of Aera's request, but they failed. I don't have any NEW art of Ivory, and some of their old art gave them wings, but I do have some old photos of them, which I'll show along-side the other photos! All that matters is that they're still alive!
Pit doesn't actually remember her! I imagine he was a bit young when the invasion happened (4/5) and that he was in the underworld for at least a year until Palutena called for his assistance. I'm allowed to mess with the timeline a little. As a treat. But anyways yeah he doesn't know she was his mom or that she had dove wings, which means he doesn't know HE has dove wings since they look pretty similar and he doesn't really have any other angels to compare them to.
All the art shown down here has outdated designs but the jokes are still the same.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay bye see you when I eventually have normal Kid Icarus art that isn't of my OCs okay bye 👍

Random idea that just entered my mind without warning and now it won't leave: Kirby AU where the plot of Kid Icarus Uprising plays out but with Kirby characters. Pit is replaced by Kirby. Palutena is replaced by Magolor (this will make sense in a bit). Medusa is replaced by King Dedede, but like the Right Back at Ya version instead of the canon version. Magnus is replaced by Taranza. Dark Lord Gaol is replaced by Sectonia. Pandora is replaced by either Dark Meta Knight or Dark Mind, possibly even both somehow. The Mirror of Truth is replaced by the Dimensional Mirror and it "copies" things by summoning their Mirror World counterparts. Naturally this means Dark Pit is replaced by Shadow Kirby. Maybe the space pirates are replaced by sphere doomers and the three sacred treasures are super abilities somehow but I'm not sure of that one. Hades is replaced by the Right Back at Ya version of Nightmare. Viridi is replaced by Meta Knight who's pulling the same shit he did in Revenge of Meta Knight. The Chaos Kin is replaced by the Master Crown (see I told you Magolor in the role of Palutena would make sense in a bit). The Aurum are replaced by Haltmann Works Company, with the Aurum Brain in particular being replaced by Star Dream. Pyrrhon is replaced by Marx. Maybe the Lightning Chariot is replaced by either the Dragoon from Air Ride or the Star Allies Sparkler but I'm not sure who the Chariot Master would be in either case. Ditto for the Great Sacred Treasure and Dyntos. Do you see my vision.

I think that mentioned Aster a good while ago but I can't remember, so have an entire ramble about them!
Aster is my Kid Icarus: Uprising × Worldless oc, and they use he/ they pronouns. He's a dark starfolk who looks almost exactly like Aven save for their wings, tail, talons and laurel crown. This is because Aster is Aven's twin brother.
During the creation of the universe, TOFA noticed something odd: Two "twin" dark starfolks sharing a light counterpart. Fearing that their perfect universe might be ruined because of this, They took Aster and sealed him off. They were absent during the entirety of Worldless, and when the universe was recreated, Aster was unsealed but still unconscious. Until they fell to Skyworld; Home of the Gods.
And then he woke up.
They were quite curious about everything, he even got some unique traits to help him navigate the skies. And the the Goddess of Light noticed them. Feeling a bit sorry for the lonely star, she took him underneath her wings and named him "Aster," after the stars.
Now he works as one of the Guards of Lady Palutena... until one day when the angels went missing and monsters started to wreck havoc in Angel Land, and it's up to them to save the day!
As for personality, Aster is very kindhearted and curious, albeit a bit stubborn and impulsive at times. Because of this, he tends to get themselves in some rather tough situations. But his claws and flying abilities makes them a force to be reckon with, plus their bow is quite helpful for ranged fighting. In fact, he prefers to use their bow than fight like an traditional dark starfolk. Plus he has wind magic which they uses quite often!
Plus he does not know that they're a starfolk... he literally assumes they're some weird looking angelic being. In fact, they don't know ANYTHING about the Starfolk Universe nor about starfolks themselves... he would be VERY confused to say the least.
Ye, you mentioned 'em at one point! I remember asking about his lil' laurel thingy at one point.
That's a fascinating premise, and also a very smooth gradient from one world to the other!
He definitely seems like a force to be reckoned with - would not wanna be on the receiving end of that.
I imagine meeting his long lost sibling would be... quite the experience-
