I know for a lot of us, today is Mother's Day. I don't celebrate Mother's Day, but even so, it is IMPOSSIBLE to go through today without thinking about all the Palestinian mothers who have been murdered The Palestinian mothers who have lost their children to Israel's genocide, funded by the West. The children who have lost their mothers. The Palestinian mothers giving birth without any form of anaesthesia. The Palestinian mothers starving themselves more so that when and if aid gets through their children can hopefully have more rations. The Palestinian mothers who are fighting illnesses and injuries. The Palestinians mother who don't know what they're going to do. Those in Palestine who have had to step up to take on the role of a mother. The Palestinian mothers not getting a chance to take a break or process anything because they have to beg for the world to care, to look, to convince us to give aid and listen so that they can evacuate, so that their families can survive at the very least.

As of Sunday 12th May 2024, Mother's Day, nearly 35,000 Palestinians have been murdered and over 14,500 of those Palestinians are children. This is since October 7th 2023, this does not take into account all the lives lost since the Nakba in 1948. And Israeli Forces are currently carpet bombing the Jabalia Refugee Camp.

Remember these mothers and children. Please do not stop engaging with Palestinians and what their posting, with resources, educating yourselves. Please keep sharing, donating, and going to local rallies, protests, and vigils, keep engaging with Operation Olive Branch, and please keep emailing your government and local representatives!

help my son please 🙏

My little angel with half a heart, Mohammed Sultan from Gaza, was born in the 4th of February, 2015. He was born with congenital malformations in his heart (ypoplastic Lt. hear syndrome). Actually, he started his life with the help of a surgical operation in the heart to keep him alive. After several years, in 2019, he went to the hospital on foot to have a new heart operation. Unfortunately, my life turned upside down when doctors told my that there was a mistake in an operation that led to a stroke and that he would not walk, he would not walk like he was in the past.

I did not give up. His Mom and I exerted all our efforts to renew our son's hope. We started to give him physical therapy and pronunciation treatment at Al-Amal Hospital in Gaza Strip. Then we continued his treatment at home due to the lack of financial supply and resources. We learned all the physical therapy treatment methods and we managed to offer all the massage machines at our house. In addition to a continuous follow up from a physical therapy specialist in order to get beneficial medical instructions. Indeed, we achieved a good progress to our son Mohammed's physical condition, but we faced a serious problem since the physical therapy specialist asked us to take our son to a neurologist. The neurologist told us that Mohammed is in a serious need to an urgent operation for the sake of lengthening the feet tendons. Unfortunately as long as the myocardium is too weak, the operation could not be operated and he requires more modern medical treatment which is only found abroad. Thus, our son Mohammed must travel to Turkey to get a successful treatment so that he can walk again. This is his only hope . He is in a big need for your help in order to get a good treatment.

Mohammed's suffering did not end. Unfortunately, the war in Gaza broke out. Our house was bombed. The physical therapy which we hardly offered, were also destroyed. Now we live in a tent in an uninhabitable area. Our life is getting worse and worse than before. We are appealing you to help us in order to travel abroad for the sake of our son's medical treatment.

Mohammed is a young child and he still has hope as other children to play, walk, have fun and live peacefully. This appeal is our last hope to get out from this nightmare. We're looking for your help, anyone, anyhow who can save his life by getting an appropriate treatment and care in a safe place.

You are all in my heart. Those who can help. You are my real mercy angels.

boycott- there are many companies and brands that are complicit in israel's war on gaza. you can boycott these brands (x). this ensures that your money is not spent on funding a genocide.

reblog- reblogging posts ensures more people can see it. while liking is good, it doesn't really do anything for the algorithm. use tags and reblog thus increasing the visibility of the post.

save posts- instagram frequently shadow bans pro-palestinian pages. if you save pro-palestinian posts, the algorithm boosts them (x). saving a post boosts it more than liking the same.

social media- block zionists and report them in case they post anything that violates tumblr guidelines (x). keep posting about palestinians. they need our support.

news sources- follow people from gaza (x) and follow news sources like al jazeera and middle east eye that report the ground reality of gaza.

read books and watch interviews and lectures that throw some light on Israel's illegal occupation of palestine.

if you can, contact your local representative and let them know that you want an end to Israel's war on gaza.
