thoughts on how Liyue archon quest went [1]

ok, full disclosure, i took notes when my friend redid this quest, but these notes are terrible and i hate scouring my quest archive to find stuff, so,,, haha good luck!

anyway, to set the scene, we've got Lumi and Kaeya headin to Liyue. b/c like, in my actual game, my last two characters fluctuated pretty consistently (it was a weird time guys), so i h/c that it was just Lumi and Kaeya for that reason.

Rite of Decension, the dragon corpse drops Paimon: oh. Kaeya: well. that's not great. Lumi: Lumi: F U C K

the two idiots proceed to try and escape b/c Kaeya cannot afford to be seen as a possible God Killer when he's supposed to be repping Mondstadt, and Lumi doesn't wanna be seen as a possible God Killer because she doesn't want to be WANTED BY THE GOVERNMENT (and also, she doesn't trust anyone who would kill a God!!! better gtfo!!!!!)

personally i think Kaeya knew Childe was a Fatui Harbinger right off the bat, seeing as he's the Cavalry Captain and has experience w/ Fatui. but iirc Childe just sorta tells Lumi pretty quickly. Obviously neither Lumi nor Kaeya trust him like,,, at a l l.

but i mean, they don't have much of a choice but to like,,, trust him, b/c, y'know, dead God allegations.

Explaining WHB devils's kinks(since they all have a scientific names on their character introductions)

I can't belive I became active again just to make this post but yea. Anyway since the game is coming out soon,I wanted to make this post to explain their cannon fetishes(and to also boink everyone,since some of them are pretty.......terrifing)(Also a lot of ophilia words)

Anyway let's cut to the chase!

Starting off with Satan and his devils,we have:

Sitri! He's into cardiophilia-fixation on heartbeats and hearts.(okay pretty tame,would probably love cuddling)

Belial has discophilia-love of record sounds and record music (still quite tame,maybe a bit weird)

Leraye with his keraunophilia-sexual attraction to thunder and/or lightning(kinda weird that he get's aroused by thunder but we don't kink shame)

Astaroth with narratophilia-sexual attraction to words and stories,normally dirty ones(omg he's into dirty talk and fanfictions!Honestly who can blame him)

Zagan coming in with kinesophilia-sexual attraction to movement and exercise(oh so he's into working out and sweat....intresting)

Lastly Paimon with haematophilia-attraction to blood(also yes even tho this looks and sounds like a girl,he's actually a guy. Also I have a feeling he would love period oral)

Let's move on to Mammon with his gold diggers(not actully but you get what I mean):

Then there's this cutie! Eligos with his diaphanophilia-Sexual fondness for viewing nudity through diaphanous fabrics such as veils, underwear,baby dolls etc.(.....trust me I'm just as confused as you are about the baby doll part)

Lastly the king of greed Mammon with pygophilia-arousal for buttocks(Oh he's the ass man!)

(Also I found out about Valefor's kink but don't have any images.He's into autoplushophilia-arousal from imagining you're a plush toy(legit he's so knightly and want to be a teddy bear!So cute!!!))

Continuing with Envy's devils!:

First off...Foras who's into scopophilia-attraction to looking at naked bodies or watching others in the act(....he's that shadow you feel when you're changing clothes)

Next this slay,Barbatos with that extra heliophilia-attraction to sunlight(this bitch apperantly wants to photosynthesise)

The man who inspired me to do this...Glasyalabolas with necrophilia-(if you're wondering why that word sounds familliar it's because it's attraction to dead bodies......yea....moving on!)

Lastly the king of envy,Leviathan with that breath control-choking and controling your or his breathing if it wasn't clear enough.(why do all the kings have the normal ones,kinda suprising)

Next on the plate we got Beelzebub with his little mafia bosses!(also what are those skin tight pants that they're wearing?)

The biggest Beel shenanigans supporter Bael who also has olfactophilia-arousal of human smeels and odors(....the only man who doesn't mind if you didn't shower for years. Also he can apperantly even cosplay Beel for you)

Next up Stolas who's into pecattiphila(oh sounds italian)-arousal from an act that one belives is a sin(damn he must really love being a devil then,I have a feeling he's also into virgins)

Next up the dog himself,Naberius who likes autozoophilia-sexual arousal from.....being an animal(yes....he's into pet play apperantly)

Following up is Amon(also nice collar) who likes harmatophilia- sexual arousal from incompetence or mistakes, usually made by a woman(*cough* he would love me cuz I'm useless-*cough*)

Ending this pack of wolves with Beelzebub himself who's into olfactophilia-same as Bael,this man likes smelly humans(also what the heck are those things on his knees?!)

Moving on to the fallen angel Lucifer and all the healers he took!

(bro you okay?) First off we have Morax who apperantly loves stigmatophilia-arousal from piercings and tattoos(understandable,he like that little bad boy/bad girl types)

(oh nice muscle titties) Next up Buer with doraphilia-affection towards fur and skins off animals(damn him and Neu-something would get along nicely)

Moving on to Marbas with that touch of merinthophilia-being tied up....probably into shibari as well

Continuing with the boys that make me the most uncomftrable,Asmodeus's demons(unfortunatelly we don't have any more kings,maybe they will come after the game releases)

Next up this disaster of a guy,Dantalian who likes autassassinophilia-sexually aroused by the risk of being killed.(also him x theraphy sounds like a pretty nice ship)

(sir don't look at me like that) Phenix,with his pretty tame morphophilia-interest in sexual partners whose body characteristics (e.g., height, weight, skin and hair color) are different from one's own.(basiclly a size kink but with other versions of it. Next up the last sin on the list,Belphegor's demons(kinda love them actually)

Starting with smarty pants,Gusion and his saphiophilia-romantic attraction based on someone's intelligence(damn it he's into nerds)

Life is strange.

You were in your world and doing godforsaken homeworks from your teachers and laying down idly while obsessing over maybe that game you started to obsess over... Then-

Now, seeing yourself in what appeared to be a godly attire in a gameworld that you barely knew wasn't on your list

Besides, how did you even come here?? You weren't actively trying to shift-

"Paimon thinks they are a bit pale..." she said while poking your arm that, surprisingly enough, didn't break or fall off during your fall. Hearing the familiar child voice of her, you widened your eyes and sat up on your hands and knees, letting out a high screech after throwing a comment.

"And Y/N can hear you, whoever you are." you groaned and they both screamed on top of their lungs much like you in fright, hugging each other thightly.

But... Why were you slapping your cheeks?

"This is insane... I didn't think those creepy and weird Isekai anime thing would happen to me!" you mumbled in deep shock, looking around yourself and seeing all the vibrant colors of Teyvat, the ones you were so used to seeing on screen...

Then came another startling thought: There were every kind of monsters, slimes, Hilichurls and even more dangerous and hard-to-kill ones.

Before you could freak out even more Aether, as the sweetheart he was, helped you, with Paimon finding something to burn to warm you up

They wondered how you were here, perhaps you also fell down like him and his sister and now were stuck? Since you looked, and still did, really horrified to find yourself here. But yet again, your looks was much different than anyone he had seen.

Shining bright eyes with sharp star shaped irises... They were mesmerizing, so alluring and so full of wonders, power as if they held the answers to all questions...

Where were you from?

But, apart from your obviously tall body, like really tall, and your star-like eyes which he found to be cute, there was another fact that stood out and made him realize how much trouble he would find himself in:

Your behaviour too which was becoming... concerning the poor boy.

Because who the fuck just kills an entire horde of elementals with just a quick flick of their... hand through sending golden waves singlehandedly with a cute smile and excited skip in their steps? Just how unhinged are you?

So, that was the first time you met the blonde who was way too pretty for a boy Aether and his cute companion Paimon, not that you didn't know them already.

" I think I will die very young, like very young..."

"Nah, you are the main character in this game. If you die, the game is over."

*Cue tripping into the lake headfirst but still managing to breathe with a thumbs up*

You just gave the biggest spoiler to anyone who would understand you but poor Aether, tho he tried to understand your words, didn't know shit about what you said.

Now, obviously, you couldn't tell them everything... That would, what, fuck with the order? The Heavenly Cosmic Rules? Whatever their names were, you really didn't want to anger anyone but also really wished to fuck with people.

Not now tho, you had to stay alive for that one.

But Aether had his own suspicions. He had been around long enough to know that he couldn't trust everyone but yet again... He needed another actual human who he could seek comfort when needed, be sure that they would have his back...

Poor, touch-starved boy ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ

And he couldn't lie: You were funny as you tried to grab Paimon and squeeze her thightly to your chest, and even managed to kill a few of the hilichurls that came out of nowhere from behind your group...

Then there was the red tint of his cheeks, when you turned to look at him excitedly( not knowing that this was what you always wanted to do) and seeked his approval as if you needed it.

I mean, you were strong and pretty, a little bit too odd and obsessed with death and never took something serious, always praised him( God knew he needed that) and patted his head, even cooking delicious food that he never heard of before...

....

Exactly what he needed in another company!

"Hey,um, since you also came from another world probably... Whose language and words I absolutely don't understand, how about we stick together? I mean, I-I wouldn't want a woman to be alone, not that you can't take care of yourself, I just saw you-" he stammered nervously, absolutely not wanting to make you uncomfortable. But as you stared at the boy with a blush as his golden eyes looked at everything but you, there was only one single thought:

"No problem, it would actually be amazing since I know nothing about this world!" (⁠ ⁠╹⁠▽⁠╹⁠ ⁠)

But come on, his stutter was cute and besides he needed to have... a human sized companion in case things got so very wrong

Whether you were the human companion or not... Well, was unknown.

The poor, still-innocent Aether was eager to know your story. Where you were from, whether you came from another world like him too, how you used that power you obviously had but you had no idea of having it in the first place...

Poor boi was just so touch-starved, and had been so lonely until he stumbled upon Paimon two months after he woke up and one month later, you.

Besides, Paimon was not affectionate in the way he wished... More like, she was an emergency food~

"For the last time, Paimon is NOT AN EMERGENCY FOOD!"

Oh how you always loved watching her get riled up so easily

You three were each other's everything from now on.

So that was how you started to have adventures while trying hard to not to die. Paimon would offer her funny thoughts while sometimes giving really useful info, Aether would often cook for all three of you until you learnt how to make most of the food known here to help him.

He was already doing a lot by protecting you and making sure that none of the hilichurls were eating you

Though soon, his protection contract you did between the two of you unofficially came to an end when an excited young scout named Amber found you three and brought you to-

"Holy shit, Monstadt is even more beautiful in real life!" you exclaimed excitedly as Amber watched you three run happily, looking at everything in astonishment as if she was the one who created the city, nodding her head proudly at what you said. "The rumors don't do enough justice to us! Of course the real thing is much better!"

Poor girl... If only she knew that this world was actually a game and you were talking about that by saying "in real life".

Or whatver concept it was.

Even though the quality of the game was *chef kiss*, nothing could have prepared you for the gentle breeze that flew past you, how it made you shiver pleasantly as your hair danced around, the air of wine and... freedom filling your every cell.

This was definetly what home felt like.

You might not have enough knowledge about them, with being a new player and all and not having that obsession to know everything about them yet... But there was one thing obvious as your attention was on a certain florist: Her... obsession(?) over a certain redhead was very fucking obvious- was that a jewelry store?

Meanwhile, as Aether was left with a blue haired-cyro user who also had the same star eyes like you, trying to dodge all the flirty and suave comments... He searched for you desperately to get out of the situation he found himself in.

Because even if he was the fighter, you were the talker with a sweet voice and surprisingly very convincing when you wanted to be. Whether you were always like that was a mystery to solve another day.

"Paimon could always ask them! Y/N likes Paimon the best after all, they said so!"

"wHaT? Y/N! IS THAT TRUE, AFTER ALL THE TIME WE SPENT-"

That was the other side of Aether you didn't see much through playing the game. He was more excited and more lively, always running around and helping people while making new friendships whereas Lumine was more well-kept and calm.

Though to him, your and Paimon's friendship meant the most and he would never let you, her or him forget about that.

You three were quite the Trio after all!

Besides, your talent of negotiation worked wonders with him since you decided to use it to braid his hair and force him to sleep.

But if there was one thing he despised about you, which was also the only one, was the attention span of a baby you had whenever you saw something either shiny or cute.

Or someone attractive and hot...

Which showed itself again when he was called upon Kaeya's, the Cavalry Captain's, commands for a "super secret mission" and he wasn't able to flee out.

"The other knights can't know about it! I can't ask for help from any other than you... Please, help me." Aether swore he saw the hint of a smirk on his face-

"What kind of secrecy is this?? And what's with that eyepatch?"

"Well, to be honest my little friend... My great grandfather was a pirate!"

A whisper...

Such a quiet and bearly audible sound.

What was this voice trying to tell him? He couldn't tell. He could only make out a few words from the voice.

..... ... me. You .... .. .... me. .... fall ... ..... tricks!

The only part he can clearly understand is when the voice tells him that the voice is a guide, a friend. For some reason the feeling of something warm was inside him, as if he was warmed from his heart to the rest of his body. What was this feeling? Who was in his ear? Why did he trust this voice so much?

"Traveler! Traveler!" Paimons voice faded back into the blond ear as they faded back into reality. "Traveler are you ok! You aren't answering Paimon!" Her eyes started to shimmer with tears, as they pricked her eyes. The Traveler heard something that told him to comfort his scared friend. He sighed softly, opening his arms for his friend to hug him. Tears flowed from her eyes as soon as she made contact with him. The size difference made it so the Traveler could easily wrap their arms around his child sized friend, who struggled to get her arms to his mind back.

"Paimon was so scared, you just stopped moving and talking, and then you just fell over! You weren't breathing, or responding! But you were so warm and Paimon was so confused!"

The Traveler looked around just now realizing that they were on the soft forest floor. Looking back at their friend they sighed "Paimon, I'm sorry. It won't happen again." Their voice was laced with worry and guilt , but their chest still radiated that warm and comforting feeling from before. Looking at their companion, they noticed just how tight she was holding onto them. This wasn't the first time she thought that she was going to lose her blond friend. The Traveler wondered what was different about this time.

Had she still not been used to almost losing her friend, even after all this time? Or was there something she wasn't telling them?

The Traveler stood up, still holding the small being, not that she would be letting go anytime soon. They began to walk in some direction. They felt their body move subconsciously, but they weren't to worried. They was confident that he could protect Paimon and themself from any danger that may or may not come their way.

As they walked they heard the same voice from earlier telling them to make a right, and they obliged, making a steady turn to the right. In that direction the trees and vines seemed to grow thicker and harder to walk around. Yet they continued forward, curious to see where this voice would lead them. After so long of listening to the gentle voice and following its instructions them found themselves at the base of a small mountain. Upon closer inspection, the traveler found the symbols for each element dimly glowing behind thick layer of vines. Out of curiosity the Traveler cautiously moved closer, careful to not wake the sleeping Paimon in their arms. Placing their hand on the element that they resided with at the moment they hummed at the warm feeling the element radiated.

Not even a second after the sound of rocks moving sounded in the Traveler ear, causing them to jump up, holding their friend closer, sword already out and ready to defend against whatever made the sound. Their shoulders relaxed at the sight of a opening in the base of the mountain where there used to be only stone. Something about what was within the cave caught the Traveler attention and was easily drawing them in. With each step the Traveler felt good wind brush against their bare skin, the cold feeling very different from the warm air they were just in. Light from crystal flys illuminated what was supposed to be a dark cave.

The light however wasn't bright enough for the Traveler to see the figure that looked behind them, watching them closely and noticing every single move the Traveler made. "Hello, Traveler." The figure spoke now standing in the middle of the open area.

To the Traveler the voice was fairly familiar, and they couldn't tell if they were hearing the voice within their head or if someone was actually talking to them. Feeling the need to turn around, they did. Only now did they see the other person. If the Traveler didn't know any better they would've tried to attack the unknown person, but the rationality in their mind told them not to. They didn't know what this other person was cable of, and they didn't know this person intentions. They could tell that this person wasn't apart of the fatui so for now the Traveler deemed this person safe.

"Who are you? And why did you lead me here?" The Traveler slowly asked, careful to watch their words.

"I have many titles, many however call me the Creator, or their grace. Sometimes even the divine one" the person spoke with a gentle and elegant tone, yet laced in their voice was something like discomfort.

"As for my name...it's lost. Lost within time. You may call me one of my titles for now though. Until it is found again. Now for the reason I guided you hear. I need some help." The person took a step closer, and glanced down, to which the Traveler followed their gaze. Past their clothes they could see chains around their ankles, chest, and neck. As of they were an animal. Handcuffs bound their hands together.

"Who did this to you?" The Traveler hesitantly asked.

"The star." The Traveler became confused, more than they already were, that is. "Think about it. I can't tell you, you have to think about what you know about me and the stories that you've heard." The Traveler thought for a moment but was quickly interrupted.

"You have to go now! Quickly! And quietly! Come back here at 6 am tomorrow morning. Understood?" They hushed the Traveler the same way they came, then before disappearing back into the cave, a rock wall forming where the enterence once was.

"The star...?"

i think, out of a lot of the characters we meet during the archon quests, wriothesley is one of the very few characters that i don’t mind not getting to know instantly. i have my own hang ups about the traveler and their special privileges- especially when it comes to knowing Stuff about other characters (a big one is collei and her feeling as if she needs to tell us about her eleazar, which peeved me more than it probably should have. thats off topic tho)

for most of the archon quest, we don’t actually get to know anything about wriothesley personally. which is so important to me because that’s the pinnacle of his character, he’s one of the few characters who isn’t afraid to not trust the traveler instantly.

and it’s refreshing.

especially when we do learn about his backstory and past, it makes sense. it’s understandable. his trust is a hard earned thing, i can really only think of two maybe three people that wriothesley himself says he trusts. and what’s more, even showing the sluice gate, he still doesn’t fully trust us. i fully believe he wasn’t expecting the traveler and paimon to show up, because why should he? he doesn’t know them. the only reason he was courteous to the traveler and paimon in the beginning was because he was accommodating neuvillette, which if it wasn’t for neuvillette we probably wouldn’t have met him till a lot a later.

like i wish they did the same thing with dehya, if only so it felt more gratifying when we did finally earn her trust. also i do think it would’ve made sense for dehya not to instantly flip and trust us just because her employer said so.

i have so many thoughts about wriothesley it’s actually wild, because he’s one of the few characters i feel like hoyo hasn’t tried to retconning so audience would like him better, like they did with ei. which i have to say, i do think ei as she was introduced to us was so interesting. but im not a hoyo writer so what do i know.

and it’s nice to feel like the world and past actions have lasting effects on the characters, and to not feel like we’re getting main character privileges all the time. probably a wild critique to have all things considered, i mean who wouldn’t want main character privileges? but, what can ya do.

-The Neuvillete-Wriothesley-Clorinde interactions are so interesting, they’re such a power group of people. Also they’re Levi, Erwin and Mikasa, THESE ARE MY PEOPLE! Also, I’m very happy we see more of Clorinde, and for some reason extra happy that she works with Wriothesley because it just makes sense, somehow. They seem to match so well.

-Furina Marie-Antoinette-coded huh

-Arclecchino is pyro? I mean, she’s not wrong with her questions at Furina. But see, this just makes me think even more that Furina DOES have a plan… but not this Furina. That she split parts of herself… for reasons. And they’re somewhere. Including in the Oratrice. And she’ll become Furina-Furina again in the next Archon Quest. Maybe she even used part of her to make Neuvillette into who he is, idk.

-Are we seriously reassuring the Knave that Lyney et al are good little Fatui? We’re so fond of them.

Imagine being born and raised in a powerful Ducal household in Lust. Your household has strong associations with flowers and gemstones and Ozzie is one of your uncles.

At 7, you are suddenly formerly bethrothed to your future husband Paimon, after his former potential bethrothed ran off with a motorbike rake ( causing that other family to move to Tartarus yet luckily found her and bring her to safety ). You are apprehensive at first, yet even then you are committed to do your duty of the outcome predestined to you at such a young age. Your husband is 7 years older than you, so even though you 2 start off at good footing as friends/associates then, you sometimes wonder if you can truly grow to love him as you both grew up. Already 14, the next future King of rhe Ars Goetia is already growing very tall, skilled in his sword and astronomy studies, and you sometimes toddle beside him, being much shorter than he is even then

You did not see him that much in your teen years, as he becomes preoccupied with many campaigns and Quests since his 18th birthday. During your teen years, you find yourself submerged in your studies to become a true queen ( even tho you sometimes wonder if you are truly up to task for it ). And sometimes in your studies, you wonder how Paimon is doing all these years. Meanwhile, several other young lads of your age began to take an interest in you. You did try to get to know them better, but you find no real connection between them

Soon after he becomes new King of rhe Ars Goetia at 25, you turn 18. He and his brothers show up at your 18th birthday party, and he's grown much taller and buffer than you last met him. You both greeted each other with courtesy, talked a lot and danced often at your birthday party

You both soon began exchanging letters and hang out with each other's circles, eventually becoming closer and officially becoming a couple. He was as much of a passionate lover as he is a valiant warrior and erudite astronomer, and you take great joy in hearing his war stories he acquired over time. He became your knight in shining armor, and you became the lady of his dreams

A year after becoming official, you 2 got married when you were 19 and quickly becomes Queen of the Ars Goetia. At that point, you already embrace your destiny with dignity, and you are determined to do your duty you are raised in

8 children arrive - 6 sons and 2 daughters. All becoming so different to one another, yet each becoming disaster theatre people in different forms. Fearful that your children may become as threatened as your clan once was by a disgruntled ex suitor, whom your husband vanquished then, you and Paimon agreed to help set up potential arranged engagements with the children of your allies then

Fast forward to that divorce war, and it seems that everything you ever worked for began falling apart. Your youngest child, the one who looks most like you save male version, hid the abuse he endured from his ex wife ( who is also the daughter of one of your former allies ) all this time, those DiGalaxises, who were once allies of you and your husband, turned against you in a most unexpected way. Your youngest began affair with a certain imp, causing shock across the rest of the Goetias. Those DiGalaxises are determined to take away everything you and your husband worked for, and for the first time in a while, you and Paimon became at lost and don't know what to do .

As the divorce war roared, you began to be increasing frantic as ALL 8 of your children began to be endangered by those whom you and Paimon once trusted. You struggled with tea addiction and had difficulty sleep, and your dear husband tries his best to help you through it. But he began drinking more than ever, and you work to help tone down his drinking from stress....

And then one day, you received a most dreaded call - Octavia tried to off herself after Stella tried to threaten her to kill your youngest

Your husband heard it too and he began shedding silent tears while looking up the full moon. Despite the dread and panic, you held his hand while trying your best to calm the panic in the group call of your children and other Goetias in tow. You and Paimon even suggested to have Octavia brought in to your castle for extra safety until the whole mess is over. Reluctantly, Stolas agreed

Seeing more of Octavia again feels like revisiting your younger, more impressionable self all over again, and some parts of that gutted her while she still truly cares for Octavia. Things seem to fall apart around the Goetias, yet you and the rest of your factions are determined to go through this together. You held onto hope that things CAN get better in a long run

Fortunately, Octavia began to recover with help from you, Paimon and many others. Your children began closer to one another. And as Octavia is preparing to move to her own place to recollect herself after all that, you began reflecting on what may she be if she didn't become Queen of the Ars Goetia

She still loves Paimon and her children with all her heart. Yet at the news of Octavia planning to move out, you begin to wonder if there is more to the life you are raised to be predestined with. You will never trade for anything other than your Queenship, but what if there is something other than this?

You began to talk to Paimon about this....and even he began wondering about it too. In the end, you both agreed to stick it out till the end while pursuing some new pursuits outside of the royal duties you are both raised in

Sometimes it takes a younger cycle breaker to finally cause you to be honest yourself of the merits and faults in your parenting....even if you love your children so much, you are willing to risk your life for them

After all this madness, with Team Stella finally executed, you and Paimon began to try some new pursuits that you both never tried before. Some may seem ' rustic ' to you and your husband's tastes, but if your children and grandchildren like it and it's not harmful to them, of course that is more reason to give those new things a chance.

The divorce war really shook things up for the Ars Goetia. New reforms have to be implemented, and some things from the ancient ways must be changed.

There is much to be repaired across the 7 Rings after rhe divorce war, but Amethyst believed that the Goetias can recover from this, and gave extra encouragement to her factions that they CAN get through such an uncertain time. And gradually, with increased collaboration, that did happen.

• Sans has panic attacks but only when he's alone, they got worse after Liz reset and took Frisk's place but after actually meeting Liz they seem to only stop when around her

• The last genocide route Frisk had only went for Asgore, Undyne and Sans and only successfully killed Asgore and Undyne, for some reason though when Liz reset certain people who survived, those oblivious to prior resets, retained some memories of the last route. Vague and nightmarish but still there. they're pretending they don't know, don't trust them liz

• I described the relationship between Liz and Flowey like Traveller and Paimon but I must say it also reminds me of Baizhu and Changsheng(Genshin Impact) or Iguro Obanai and Kaburamaru(Demon Slayer), cute little thing but I say that mainly because since Flowey is a magical flower or whatever tf he's supposed to be he's able to fit in this tiny flower pot Liz wears as a pendant around her neck, whenever Liz is moving too fast for Flowey to feel comfortable he grows out of the pot and wraps around her neck a few times as if a vine wrapping around a post.

• Many monsters consider the Dreemurr name cursed, many also say the king and queen's new child is a bit too much like their dear old daughter. God bless the Dreemurr children, Liz Dreemurr, Chara Dreemurr, Azriel Dreemurr and F-ERROR:character-not-found

• Undyne actually quite enjoys Liz's company, she was pleasantly surprised when this human girl was able to keep up in training and she very much admires Liz's strength and determination, she's proud to be friends with this tiny strong human! yes alphys is jealous

• Liz's soul is a mixture of red(determination) and pink(perseverance?) but when VOID takes control Liz becomes nothing but a shell, her soul as black as her eyes, this is the "null" state. Liz is aware of the things she does for VOID but feels nothing while in null, a far more cruel of a monster than Frisk or even Nightmare, their monotonous and almost robotic tone while in this state a constant plague in the mind of any to survive....cross still has that scar...

Glitchtale Prime(REWRITE AU!!!)

Glitchtale Prime REWRITE AU or simply Glitchtale Prime or GPR follows a young woman, a dimension hopper as it seems, and a glitch in the system, Elizabeth Beverley, whom no one not even Sans himself knows who she is, what she is or where she came from. And a strange entity called "The Dreamer", or as Liz refers to them, VOID.

By the actions of Liz taking control of Frisk as you just saw and resetting a new AU was born, one where Frisk does not exist at all and Liz is instead the main character. In this AU Liz is a strange human, seemingly connected to the Ink and Error Sanses, who is possessed(?) by a virus-like entity of the sorts which is VOID and the two are accompanied in their travels by none other than Flowey who got his shit wrecked and now kisses ass bcs he's low-key terrified of Liz.

Liz's relationship with VOID is inspired alot by Cynessa(Murder Drones) while Liz's relationship with Flowey is inspired by the relationship between The Traveller and Paimon(Genshin Impact).

GPR takes place further into the Undertale timeline then most other AUs as Liz, having taken the place of Frisk, waited until she was a strong enough adult before falling down a fucking hole-

GPR is a prequel of sorts to a bigger project of mine, one that may very well never happen due to the sheer size, something I like to call Underverse Prime and so if anything comes of GPR just be aware that parts of Liz's backstory may change or not make sense until the story of her relative is told in UVPrime Act 1.

Also just something, Paimon isn't that scared of the archons, even someone like Baal. But she's scared of and extremely polite to Diluc.

I wonder why is that? Compared to God's she only cowers when riches and food are involved, but with Diluc he just says things in a stern voice and she's already "On it M-master Diluc!" i think she even confides in the traveller that she's scared of him but not the reason why.

I don't remember if she's that scared of someone like Ayato tho, i don't even think she's that scared of Childe, she's scared of the Harbinger Tartaglia but not Ajax

You could hear it. Even if it wasn’t the same voice that you have right at this very lifetime, you knew that it was you, your soul, your heart calling out onto his name—the very name written on your wrist. 

Why, you began to question, why can you hear a different voice in your head? Why do you feel like it was still your own voice even if it doesn’t sound like it? 

Reincarnations are one of the things that people of Qingce Village believed in, including you. However, it never occurred to you that it would show its true identity to you, to prove to you that your soulmate had always been the same person, even in your previous lifetime, or more. 

“How about you, Mr. Zhongli? Have you met your soulmate?”

Waiting for Aether became a part of your schedule, which meant you were free most of the day, and here you were, strolling around the harbor with the only person you trust aside from the traveler and Paimon. It has been a few days since you came and you have been enjoying each and every moment you spent in this place. You only have a week-long stay in the harbor, just until the night of the lantern rite, and you were beginning to miss it. 

And apparently, tonight is it, the very last time you could ever glance at the beautiful lights of the harbor this near and see the beauty of the sea and people. 

You will miss it, surely. 

Liyue harbor is unlike Qingce village. It’s full of people, colors, vendors, and you have met someone who you admit you haven’t figured out how to say goodbye yet. 

“I suppose… I may have. Why have you asked?” there was a certain kind of hesitation in his voice but you weren’t sure. Still, somehow it made you… feel sad for some reason. Do you like this man? 

“There’s no particular reason.” you almost trailed off, and you were quite positive he might have sensed your lie with how he glanced at you sideways that you have to look at the ground in shame. 

His steps halted and you did as well, which caught your attention, bringing your gaze back up to his. 

“Uhm-I asked because you sounded… hesitant. That’s all!” 

“Hesitant? Well, I do admit that despite being able to receive the blessing of having to meet my soulmate. Only, my soulmate does not share the same knowledge as to who I am yet. Perhaps, that must be why I sounded… hesitant.” 

“Oh archons,” you gasp, unable to stop yourself from reacting. “do you have any contact with them, then? Why didn’t you tell them you’re their soulmate?” 

There was a chuckle that escaped Zhongli’s lips, one that didn’t fail to make your heart skip at how it sounded. Not only that, but his smile is also- 

May Rex Lapis help you and your heart. 

“W-Why are you laughing? Is there something funny?” you may have forgotten all the decency and politeness from your embarrassment, but you didn’t particularly care by now. There’s something about this man that terrifies you—and you’re still deciding whether it’s in a good or bad way. 

“I apologize for my rudeness,” he clears his throat whilst raising a gloved hand, still with a smile however, “I was merely amused at your concern, but there is not a need for it. Fate, when it decides, we should put our trust in it no matter if it will take a long time for you and you soulmate to meet again.” 

“But what if fate decides that it will never happen?” you interject, a look of despair crossing your face once you’ve remembered about the name on your wrist. 

Your hand unconsciously makes it way to the other, your thumb caressing the tattoo that had been embedded in you since birth. 

You were not a fool. You’ve heard about the name Morax before, and it did take a lot from you not to think about the archon of whom you yourself worship. Morax is also Rex Lapis, but how could this be? A god is your soulmate? Of course you never believed that, but it didn’t mean it never lingered in your thoughts. 

Because what if it was true? What if fate decides that a mere human like you can never put up with a god like him? 

If only you had looked, you would have seen the way his eyes fluttered in concern at how your mood dropped so suddenly. If only you paid more attention, yoh would’ve felt the hand that hovered by your side, aching to touch you, to comfort you in any way he can, to hold you like he did several times before. 

But you hadn’t, and he was also not willing this to steal his chance in approaching this connection slowly and carefully. 

Zhongli believes in the process, in how everything would fall into place if he did things in order. He believes in the contract that you two had, with this connection, with this soulmate bond. He believes that he shouldn’t get impatient in order for this to work. He waited several years to see you again, he couldn’t-

“Oh what am I saying, I apologize for that.” you smile up at him, one that he could recognize very well. “I guess all the talk about soulmates is making me overthink of things. I’m sorry you had to see me like this.” 

He clears his throat, “There is no need to apologize, my l-“ he stops himself. “What I’ve said may have caused you to feel that way, I must take all the blame for it.” 

“Oh archons, no!” you waved your hands. “I was the one who pried too much. Don’t worry, Mr. Zhongli, you don’t need to do that much for me.” 

He had to purse his lips to prevent himself from saying how much he wanted to contradict what you said. How much longer can he do this? 

“They’re releasing the Mingxiao Lantern, look Mr. Zhongli!” your smile was bright by now, just like how the lights from the lanterns were, and it was what caught him off guard. 

It had been so long and his heart was starting to ache for these moments once again. 

Thus, instead of staring at the ceremonies of the mortals that he surely had seen several times before, he looked at you, but you were too preoccupied with the beauty of the scene to ever notice how Zhongli was admiring yours.  

“I am returning back to Qingce Village tomorrow.” you subconsciously say after being silent for awhile, now surprised to see him looking straight at you after tearing your eyes away from the sky. Still, you let out, “I’m really glad I met you, Mr. Zhongli.” 

He believed in order, harmony, and fate. But now, his ideals be damned. 

There was a brief pause before he started removing a glove of his, then reaching out to your hand, the one that held your soulmate’s name. And for a moment, your heart skipped when you felt his bare skin on yours, unable to even think about how wrong it was—or how wrong you thought it was. 

“Mr-“ 

“My name may not be the same, but it is I, Y/n.” he interjects, raising both of your hands to let you see the proof that he had been hiding all this time. “Your name had always been the same, and it had been there ever since the beginning of my life.”

hello guess who just came with a xiather angst? me

where xiao is an emo who secretly loves an book series (and it's protagonist), and aether is the said protagonist who accidentally came out of his book to the real world

(highly inspired by enchanted movie)

and already apologizing for any errors, it's my first time writing in english since it's not my first language

Xiao was a man full of secrets. It didn't matter if it was dark secrets or details about himself that he didn't want others to know. It was his secrets, and no one could know about it, he wouldn't let them. The boy already suffered enough in his 21 years alive, mostly because of those “secrets”. So he just built a barrier around himself, a barrier that he wouldn't let anyone get through. And his secrets were hidden inside.

You'll never catch him without his usual serious expression, that most times seem like he's angry about something (and probably is). There isn't a single living soul these days that has seen Xiao smile, it's a legend. Rumor has it around the university he attends that when the day Xiao smiles finally comes, the world will collapse. And they're not wrong tho.

And even if he looks mad all the time, Xiao still good-looking, with all his black clothes, his hair that looks messed but extremely pretty at the same time and his unique piercings and makeup. He's pretty, and in the deep end he knows it, it must be the only reason why a lot of people still try hitting on him, he thinks. But his personality always push them away.

He's bitter. Whenever someone approaches him, he'll just say “fuck off” and walk away. It's a self defense. He can't let people get too close, he'll be vulnerable and that's when the worse happens. Xiao doesn't trust anyone, sometimes he can't even trust himself.

As said earlier, he's full of secrets.

But one of the main secrets he will never let anyone even think about is his passion for his favorite book series.

A popular series between teenagers and a few young adults about a boy who travels from world to world looking for his long lost sister, and uncovering the truth of every world he passes by.

Even Xiao couldn't explain why he loved that story so much, it make feel him safe, comfortable and maybe happy somehow. Maybe it was because of the fantasy side that make him feel in another world, that make him forget about all his problems.

And there's also the protagonist. A blonde and innocent boy, who always tried to see the best in every person who crosses his patch, with the most kind heart. His name was Aether. The boy was separated from his twin sister as a child because of a war in his home world, and the last thing they said for each other was a promise to reunite one day to end that stupid war. The story follows his adventures in his chase for his sister, along with a little fairy called Paimon.

Xiao admired him, because of his persistence and his kind heart. He wished that he could be like him. And his love for him was even greater than for his story, but Xiao would never admit it. It was the most pathetic side of his, he knew all that love came from a single question. “If he was real, would he also see the best in me?”

Walking with his ear pods on, music blasting at the highest volume, Xiao he didn't pay attention to anything around him. He was too distracted by something else in his own mind to notice the person who was about to bump into him.

“Can't you pay more attention to where you're walking?” He groaned the words without looking up.

“I-I'm sorry, I'm really sorry” The person answered, finally making Xiao look at them.

Fuck.

The person in question was a boy who seemed had the same age as Xiao. He had a long blonde hair that was tied in a braid and his big golden eyes looked at Xiao with concern, leaving him with the strange feeling that he knew that boy. And god, he was so pretty even with that weird clothes.

“It's o-okay...” Xiao looked down at his feet trying to hide the redness on his face.

The boy just shook his head. “I'm sorry for disturbing you again, but can you help me? I think I'm lost...”

That question caught Xiao off guard. He'd usually just say no and walk away, but something make him feel like he couldn't say no to that boy. “Uhh, sure... Where do you want to go?”

“Home” The boy answered straight forward, but there was a weird look in his eyes, fear, maybe.

“And this place is..?”

Xiao could notice the discomfort in the other expression. And he could understand that very well. The boy let a long breath out before starting. “Um, call me crazy or whatever you want, but i think I'm not from this world”

What the fuck?

“I mean, i don't know what it happened but i was in another place searching for my sister with my friend, and then I appeared here, and I've never been here before”

Something clicked in Xiao's mind. That must be a joke, there's no other explanation.

“Wait, what's your name?”

“Aether”

Xiao choked on his own air. It was definitely a joke.

IV - Paimon

this is an analysis that may contain spoilers

"So, Paimon would do her best to be a great guide!" - Paimon

Alright let's talk about this special lil fella. She's been with our main traveler since the start of the game being our close friend and guides us, but hm... we never really know where Paimon came from eh? so suspicious...

Ok let's look on the bright side first, Paimon looks really cute, friendly and she can float somehow (that's one whole cutie package there :3). She's very willing to help our traveler because we saved her from drowning with fishing rod lmao. She knows quite a lot about Teyvat... and so she becomes a guide for our traveler.

Being cute aside, there're actually a lot of suspicions about Paimon tho. Starting from her very appearance that doesn't look like normal being of Teyvat. The way she dresses reminds me of... uh- you know that one pillar in Celestia?

that thing and also the nail on top of Dragonspine peak.

Kazuha also mentioned that Paimon and Traveler gave the scent of the stars? were they actually made of stars to begin with??

Paimon's outfit looks like a part of Celestia, but... she had the same scent with traveler... that would mean Paimon was not purely from Celestia because our traveler doesn't come from this world in the first place. Paimon is definitely not from Teyvat, but somewhere beyond. However this statement only made more suspicion because how come Paimon and Traveler had the same scent when they're two different individuals and just met in present time.

Paimon might as well came from the same source as the twins but in a different situation and meaning. Because she somehow knows things about Teyvat and in fact guiding our traveler despite her being like... that (yk what Paimon is like).

I believe Paimon is honest with her personality and she is NOT Unknown God or her servant in any way. I think of that because traveler trust Paimon and ofc we all know how sharp traveler's intuition is. But we shouldn't let our guard down too because so far Paimon never really talked about her origin or what her past is like. She's pretty much the same like the twins, we don't know what she is or why she's in this world in the first place.

From what I observe, Paimon seems to be... lost in herself. I mean that she just follows our traveler around because she doesn't know what else she's supposed to be doing in this world besides following the person who saved her and helped the traveler with her little knowledge about Teyvat.

If the things I mentioned in the cataclysm theory were right, then Paimon might be a really stable/neutral being that knows just enough about this world but doesn't get affected by any drama or anyone. She might be a little package sent by Celestia to accompany the poor traveler, you know like a pet so traveler won't feel too lonely.

But if Paimon came from the same source like the twins... wouldn't that means Paimon also had some kind of power that we don't know? or in fact more ability than we could imagine? We should be grateful that Paimon is likely doesn't understand her own power or not wanting to use it. (or maybe she has no power at all, just mere guidance for us)

Last but not least, we cannot deny that Paimon is genuinely concerned, and a very loyal friend to our traveler trying to help as best as she can. I truly believe that Paimon would never mean any harm to the traveler.

Team Headcanons

I had this idea recently to try to write something not for separate characters but for the whole adventuring gang of 4. Like group dynamics, activities and all. Could be fun, we'll see >.<

Traveler, Razor, Amber, Kaeya

Amber was the first one to join the Traveler on their misadventures.

During your time in Mondstadt you became almost like best-friends.

Enthusiastic girl-scout knew all ins and outs of Mond which made her the perfect guide and advisor. 

You spend countless nights camping in the wild, staying beside a fire planning your quests for the next day or just stargazing and telling eachother stories.

Amber is very supportive and always tries to cheer you up wether you feel anxious or overwhelmed or just start to miss your lost sibling too much.

She tries to introduce you to all of Mondstadt’s traditional entertainments and overall fun-activities. 

You’ve probably tried all kinds of tasty goods when she took you on one of her “gastronomic tours”.

Sometimes you worry she misses out on her duties as Ordo Favonius Scout adventuring with you all the time, but she assures you she can manage and helping you is her main task anyway!

When Razor comes into the picture he surely needs some time to get used to Amber’s fiery personality. At first he mostly clinges up to you letting you manage all of “communication”.

Needless to say being around a lot of people is difficult for Razor, it doesn’t feel right at all actually.

Sometimes he insists on staying in the wild while you have to take care of some business in Mondstadt. You surely let him take his time with socialising.

He will sometimes get this feeling something bad might happen. On these days he is actually eager to overcome his fears and visit the town with you.

Both you and Amber try your best to not let anyone make Razor more uncomfortable than he already is. Wolf-boy still gets the weird looks now and then.

It doesn’t really help he growled at people a few times when they tried to come too close to you or made some loud noises. You stay supportive tho and never forget to cheer him up after you are done and ready to leave.

Sometimes you buy him something tasty or give him soft head pats and he visibly lightens up. You are the only person he is comfortable to share his feelings with.

In the wild Razor doesn’t feel repressed or shy at all. He can openly show his more wolf-like habits and often shares his knowledge on survival with you.

He stays alert at all times and can sense any danger coming from miles away. He is ready to throw himself into battle in case something will endanger you or your group.

Razor can be a little overprotective and impulsive at times, acting before he thinks, especially when it comes to your safety. Sometimes you and Amber end up being the ones getting HIM out of trouble.

Kaeya doesn’t always accompany you during your adventures. He is a Cavalry Captain and has a lot of work of his own.

He will join you on your missions from time to time, especially the more dangerous ones. Somehow he always knows when you need his help, you don’t even have to ask!

He can get information on anyone in Mondstadt and can be very helpful in your investigations. Sometimes you can’t help but wonder how much does he really know? 

If he doesn’t have much time to go on missions with you during the week he surely will invite you for a glass of grape juice during the weekend.

You are always excited to tell him all about your adventures and he always carefully listens.

Although he never truly shows it, sometimes you get the feeling he already knows everything you tell him. Almost like he found some source of information about your latest missions.

If confronted about this he will just give you one of his trademark sly smiles and say something evasive and cryptic. You kind of love hating him for it.

In reality Kaeya doesn’t really spy on you (for the most part). He just likes to make sure you are safe during your adventures.

Or sometimes he just enjoys teasing you with his little know-it-all cant-surprise-me act.

He actually trusts your abilities to stand up for yourself but still wishes he could accompany you on every new mission.

Amber traveling with you calms his worries a little, he knows she is a talented and fearless scout who can insure your well-being in case something bad happens.

He was not so sure about Razor tho. His lack of info on him surely made Kaeya rather suspicious. It was mutual. 

When they fought their first battle agains the hoard of hillichurs together Kaeya and Razor started to bond. It was a surprise for both of them that they could work pretty well together as a team.

And you could not be more happy to see them start to finally get along. Who knows maybe soon you won’t need to explain Kaeya’s stupid jokes and teases to Razor all the time?

You still have a lot of work to do to help people in Mondstadt but it will soon come the day you need to continue on your quest to find your sibling. For the time being you are really thankful to have your little team of friends here with you (and Paimon of course).

yeah about kaeya,, apparently there was an official storyboard (don't remember what it's called) for an animation of him fighting ? i hope we'll get to see him in action and see what he's really capable of.

so khaenri'ah would look like we saw in enka and the chasm ? it was really pretty :) but wow, if what you say is true then that means the country (?) in which khaenri'ah was spreads under the entire map of teyvat, or at least most of it ? that's huuuge

so glad they're directly giving khaenri'ah lore instead of just mentioning it. meeting the serpent knights and seeing actual lines in khaenri'ahn is great C:

yeah... i don't remember where it's mentionned but he is a menace to society. and about scara, some people think that he might finally explain what he's doing and somewhat change the traveler's mind about the gods, giving him some sort of redemption arc or something. but wowww... imagine having childe getting defeated by scara after training for so long :( again, i like your theory tho. can't wait to see what mhy gives us.

Love, are you sure there's nothing I can do? A comfort piece, a drawing, anything? Tbh none of my requests really interest me and I'm not pressuring myself to do anything, I really want to do something for you!

Maybe so! I feel like it would most look like the chasm. The cubes everywhere, the upside down city, the ruins, the atmosphere, it all fits. Enkanomiya feels...lonely, abandoned. The Chasm feels saddening, mournful. There was a loss in one, the other just moved towns HAHA

Also I noticed it was pretty windy in Enkanomiya, I'm wondering if that's thanks to Istaroth, The God of Wind and Time of whom they also worshipped? AND YES I love the lore-- fighting the husks (the ones with voicelines) revealed so much omg- We can tell that they had no idea the nail was coming, that they tried to use it, and if they aren't just spouting random words or something, they see us as the relative of a tyrant and a person from a "false world." Lots of things pointing to the fake sky theory too!

I CANNOT tell you how excited I am to see Traveler realize he can't trust the Gods. Will they go after them? Will they start ignoring everyone who asks things of them unless it helps them? Will they expose them to everyone? Will they try and get revenge? Ooh and what will Paimon do? He'd probably stop listening to them as she forces them into so many things, what then? ahh so much potential

Nono you add a lot! Again I'm really not used to having friends, so just having someone to talk to is nice. but you've also got me thinking on many of my theories and helped to more developments and whatnot! plus, you're a pleasure to talk to in general. Klee was my second 5* and she’s very cute lol and also very useful in exploring. Raiden as well helped a lot in bosses. But anyway she’ll have a rerun so you can try again! What language do you use in game? Like the voice over language? I only used jp when inazuma came out so i can hear miyuki 😍😍 what part of klee’s story u like? I guess I’m really interested to finally meet her mom someday

The way Klee runs, she opens her arms and sings bro. She’s one of the few characters that don’t have an annoying va. I’d waterboard Paimon everyday — most importantly when she comments during the fishing minigame (“Paimon’s stomach is grumbling alrGLUGLBDLGUF”) but Klee? Klee’s a different breed.

I know very little about her because I only played the first extra chapter (?). I do now this tho: God is dead and Klee ate Him.

Also I play in English. I tend to get distracted a lot during dialogues and cutscenes, because I don’t find them interesting at all most of the time. Take the last event for an instance: food and gods and Lyhue? Of course it’s supposed to be interesting! And yet; it had the same emotional depth of cardboard. And trust me, I’ve been handling a lot of cardboard lately.

There was only one plotline that somehow managed to attract my attention and that I appreciated. The fact that I can’t remember a single thing about it should tell you quite a bit about my thoughts about Genshin’s storytelling LMAO
