Hey gharashambles, I was wondering what happened to the fanfiction you wrote about Regis, detlaff, and your OC Maina? I've been scouring the web for it but I can't find it for the life of me! Was it removed/privated?

Maina is theirs, I was just obsessed with the fic! The babies! The batsex! The ART!! The incredible amount of angst!

Alright since it wasn’t specified on canon or OC characters, I will go with my Darling OC-

Dessi loves cheese, so her pizzas are extra on that and i mean EXTRA. Add on some pepperoni, jalapeno and she is good to go, though she may add ranch dressing every once in a while.  Modern AU versions of Dessi and Dettlaff on their pizza dates often lead to a heated debate whether pineapple goes on pizza or not. (Dessi is right of course, Pineapple does not go on pizzas and no fruits should have the power to trying to eat you back while you munch on it. She is the muncher and not the munchie. accept in the bedroom)

I still haven’t written Geralt that much and I wish to do so more. I would love to explore more past my little one shot of “all you need is fluff” and the absolute embarrassment of Geralt realizing who those bats are. 

I would also like to write on Serphae more in my long fic and how she feels about the whole thing and how she feels about Dessi. Perhaps one day I will expand. (But lets be real, those WIPs are stacking and head empty, no thoughts.)

5 Things I like:

I love chilling at home. There is nothing like being able to sit in my space and ease the day from everything while I scroll through the internet. Especially if my cat, Cookie is there to chill with me. 

Swimming. From the moment I could walk, I have been a big swimmer and love to just being around water. Though it could be odd enough that i’m terrified in being in water where I cant see the bottom or my limbs(if it is that murky). That fear does contradict the joy I felt when I was swimming with sharks(I love them).  

Seafood! Absolutely love seafood! Especially steamed muscles and smoked salmon.

Collecting pretty rocks! I have a small collection that used to be much bigger but since I moved so much in the past 3ish years, some have been lost. I am hoping to build up my collection again for simply the reason of just having pretty, shiny stuff.

Gwent: I love card games but Gwent has been my favorite for the past year. It has been a lot more fun lately since I have friends to play with now. (I may be as bad as Geralt in the need to collect all the cards. *Looks at monster deck on desk*)

This is so old IM SORRY I just saw it, but we will tell the cookie story

OKAY. So, last Christmas most of our family was on the west coast so friends invited us over for Christmas at their neat farmy place. Horsies and chiggin coops, the works. Sounded fun so we said we’d love to! I asked if I needed to bring anything since they live kind of far from anything. They said they had everything but no dessert, they’d kind of forgotten.

Problem was I left it until pretty much the last minute and nearly all the stores here were already closed OOPS. The only things I knew I had ingredients to were sugar cookies and I had decorative stuff and cookie cutters left over from Halloween. Also, might mention that other than bread I manage to reallllly not be good at baking.

My worse half gets home and sees what I’ve managed to scrap together(extremely poorly, F Tier cookies) so I explain these were all the decorations I had on hand and look, they’re little coffins YEAH but on them they says T T for Tiny Tim, that’s fucking Christmasy? He then reminds me one of the friends is 8 months pregnant so maybe tiny child coffins are uh not it

I brought nothing but my secret baking shame to that home on Christmas. :c

'' #I have no idea who Jonathan is that's probably bad '' oh my this must be corrected. Jonathan Reid is the main character you play from the game Vampyr. He's a vampire doctor .. much like our lovely Regis. Hence the popular crossover. It's a great little game.

OHHH, yeah! I have heard a LOT about Vampyr, though I'm preemptively sad there probably won't be a sequel. Makes no sense but I usually don't. The outfit is really flattering on Regis. He should steal Jonathan's entire wardrobe.

I just finished RE8 about four minutes ago so I'm trying to decide whether to try Book of Shadows difficulty right away or let it sit and stew while I buy Vampyr. I'm torn :c

Makes me even more grateful to be in such a talented and active fandom. I still find it wild always seeing NEW art! The artists in this fandom have the most beautiful styles as well. I love being able to see a piece and have a good idea of who made it, or know what they probably put tons of extra effort towards!

♦ - Quirks/Hobbies

Every time Regis’ attention becomes captured by a fact he’s read he searches for research on the same subject done by his own vampiric brethren.

We all know he loves his mandrake hooch but he’s actually distilled several other different plants, mandrake is just his latest and favorite endeavor. Some of them were unpalatable disasters.  

He is a consummate people-watcher. Not only does he study them to understand and emulate their behavior but simply because he finds many people genuinely fascinating and worthy of note.

Regis enjoys going through his stock of herbs and ingredients to find what’s expired beyond usefulness because it means he gets to go on a trip, either long or brief, to find fresh materials

I imagine a quirk of his is that he sometimes rakes a hand through his hair while trying to solve a problem, forgetting he has a lot less of it since his regeneration isn’t complete

☾ - Sleeping

On nights when he’s feeling particularly anxious or stressed he will hang from the ceiling of the crypt and sleep in his bat form.

He’s a vivid dreamer and this causes a fair amount of sadness, dreaming of what was and what could have been.

Whether it’s sitting down with a book and a mug of mandrake brew or tea made from plants he’s picked and dried himself he always indulges in a night cap before resting as a way of helping him relax.

When he was quitting drinking the mornings were some of the hardest times for him, waking in a blink with the taste of blood in his mouth from his dream and his fangs planted firmly in skin.

His bed mat in the crypt smells just like the herbal mix he covers himself in to mask his scent but his bed in Dettlaff’s home did not because he  didn’t need to mask it at that time

Read that post about Regis and blood being incorporated with food and makes me think about what would be traditional vampire foods? do they have their own version of chicken noodle soup? or something that is like The home meal that everyone loves? GAH! so many thoughts with how this could go!!!

Little vamps who feel under the weather getting fed bone-marrow soup as a comfort food, I need it in my life! I wonder if they had cookbooks that survived their conjunction or were written by them shortly after arriving, just to preserve their own unique food culture? I wonder what the prey and agriculture was like on their native planet?

Regis would be one of those boomers I could seriously respect and trust. So I can imagine a Modern Wicther 3 AU where you’re being harassed by a boomer for whatever arbitrary lecture. And Regis swoops in to your defense and manages to classily exit you out of the situation. He’s just that good hearted :3

I don’t know if Regis could help himself and not join in, lecturing BOTH parties. That’s peak Regis to me. By the time he’s done exhausting whatever topic you were debating over you both want to die in solidarity and your necks hurt from nodding frantically in hopes that he’ll stop.

You both walk away with more knowledge of underwater basketweaving than you ever wanted so his work here is done.
